"What's taking everyone so long? " Gabe would say to himself as took out one of his chewing souls and plopped it in his mouth, chewing vigorously in order to take a few his spirit points back. As the juices began to flow through his mouth and fuel his fatigue, Gabe started to think about everything that happened in his life in regards to the few days that passed. People were eaten and possibly killed, the demons were here and there, and he managed to put in a huge investment sum towards something that might or might not fall through. Even if they were somehow able to get through the dungeon and make it to Invidia, is it possible that they had enough power at their disposal in order to defeat the man? Gabe really didn't know, and he tried his best not to think about it. As long as there was a way out when things got rough, he was able to live with it. As long as Gabe was able to bounce back with every single negative loss that he took, Gabe would be able to pull through and smile towards tomorrow.
This was not that kind of day, and it almost made him a little crazy with the amount of stress that this situation was getting on Gabe. He needed everyone to be safe when it comes to their actions and choices, and he needed everyone to ensure that every single choice that they made mattered towards finally defeating this obstacle. At this point, Gabe was emotionally exhausted to the point that he was mainly talking out of his ass, and he caught himself getting a little angrier toward thins that he would usually just brush off. This was basically the burden that came with these missions, and maybe he should get used to it. "What I just did, this might seem like a bad idea, even a terrible idea of hanging back the way that I did in order to ambush this demon ahead of us. This fiend, it's strong, and maybe it's not in our best interests to challenge it while we are holding these masks. At the very least, i can promise that your trust in me is not misplaced, and i already thought of other alternatives when i did that. Just have a little more faith in me, alright? I have no intention of leading you astray with bad decisions.

Frog grit his teeth at how slow the duo beside him had decide to move. They were being chased, gosh darn it. In any other scenario he would appreciate the moment of respite, but right now, he only shot a hateful glare under his mask at Tuxedo Guy and Golden Boy. He'd only followed their pace in order for them to not get solo ambushed by the Fiend chasing them. With him on board, they at least stood a chance, but without him, the two dumbasses were fish food. "You two need to focus on the mission instead of loafing around. The demons are right there, so let's go attack the shit out of them before we ourselves get fucking attacked by something even scarier." He said swiftly, clenching his hands into fists, fingers rolled up, twitching in a mixture of frustration and fear. The Amphibian Prince has had it enough and he wasn't gonna hide it. He took a step down the hall, letting his Persona shift into the Temperance's power, one granted to him by Liam, before starting to run, his silhuette melding into the ephemeral image of Vishnu dissipating as well.
Frog didn't think much, already focusing to pull the two boomerangs from the depths of his subconcious. He felt their cold metal at the tips of his fingers and the surface of his palms, and he focused on the sensation, cutting out any noises beside him, like from the Tuxedo Guy or Golden Boy. If they wanted to say anything, he wouldn't listen nor respond. He could hear some mumbling from Tuxedo Guy about trust not being misplaced. Ha! What a fucking moron, the Frog thought to himself. It was really annoying so he stopped listening the moment he realized what the talk was about. Some vague way to give credit to his idiotic actions. From how their previous nights went, one would assume Frog was the idiotic reckless one, but the behaviour here made him outrage in response. His brains wanted to spill out from the stupidity and had they not decided to rush immediately afterwards, they would've been Fiend food for sure. But thankfully, everything seemed to be going relatively well, so no harm done. It didn't mean Frog had forgiven either of them. No no, he still thought they were stupid for doing what they did. The only difference is the reprecussions for the team have been eliminated, so all was well, for now.
He could be thankful for that.

Popping off the top of his Snuff Soul container and letting the reinvigorating energy flow through him, Shiro kept his gaze fixed behind them, squinting at the wall of dread and doom that was this bony musician's aura. It was dangerous stopping here instead of rushing the possibly final demon battle before the final mask is secured and Invidia finally stood within their crosshairs, but risking being ambushed was equally as taxing. Truthfully, he would've wanted to accelerate to the final demon and take on the initial beatdown before the fiendish skeleton could lay eyes on them, but when Shotaro stopped only a few steps from the battle site to heal the group, Lui decided to stick close by, ready for the skeleton to rush around the corner and ambush them in turn. Could they run? Was the fiend even open to negotiation considering the cackling mood this monster seemed to be in? Or... would they really take up arms and fire volleys of elemental strikes and physical trauma to repel this thing?
Lui sighed grimly at the thoughts of taking it on. His armor could take a fair amount of damage, and his Vanguard Stance could protect an ally should this monster decide to physically damage them as opposed to the suspected instant killing abilities this undead demonic creature likely possessed. But when the knight factored in the group's reaction and desire to run just as swiftly as him, it seemed he wasn't the only person who could sense the air of death hanging around that monster's merry jog.
Just one more demon, Lui assured himself. One more mask, one final sprint, and then the idol-vore of the nighttime club would be within their grasp, facing judgement whether he was ready or not. The knight gripped his rapier with both excitement and fear mixing in his head, energizing his body with uncertain energy. "Shotaro, are you sure about stopping here? I know rounding the corner at full speed would leave us vulnerable to an attack of advantage, but having that fiddler behind us jump on us would be more difficult to survive than the next demon group getting the drop on us. But either way, we have one last mask to go for. After we get that thing, assuming the demon isn't waiting in the hallway, we make a break for it, full acceleration. I don't know the limits to this thing's movement, so let's not take any chances. Invidia has to pay tonight."
