“Considering we up and dispersed a huge crowd of people and are obviously here for a District Leader’s head? Yeah, I’d say the odds are pretty fucking high.” Ragnarok snarkily yet completely honestly replied to Shotaro. There was no point in wondering if they’d come; they were absolutely going to come. It was all a matter of being prepared, and with this new guard demon on their ass the stakes were higher than ever.
“Dammit, Prince! Don’t just dash off on your own!”

Gabe would let out a deep breath of relief as he pocked the discharm and continued to move forward, all while looking back and realizing that the creature was gaining a lot of ground on us. "Unbelievable, I've never had an experience like this before where something would actively [purseu us from the inside. I guess this is a lot different from the usual dungeon dashes, we are more on the outside and anything can happen if it's causing a lot of new traction and the like. "However, Gabe could feel himself talking even less as he started to think about how they were going to handle the situation if they ever faced the creature. "We are in no position fight a creature at that level, especially with us being weakened in such a way while holding the masks. On top of that, even if we were to manage to get away with my skill, this day would be completely wasted and the backlash would have consequences that we wouldn't even begin to fathom. The job needs to be done tonight, but if reinforcements keep showing up like this, it's going to become quite the difficult stretch if we are to maintain an appropriate time. "
He was trying his best to be levelheaded, but Gabe had a feeling that this wasn't going to work out if they ended up bailing out with his ability. Sure, they would be able to escape the dungeon with their lives intact, but the problem basically relied on the fact that Gabe invested in the rumors to be sent. IF by any chance that the rumors managed to find their way back to it's origin, which is basically Gabe at the detective's office, he would obviously be the first one targeted by Invidia. So for Gabe's sake, he wanted to make sure that Invidia didn't get that chance. One way or another, Gabe was going to take that guy down a notch.
"Quick heal, let's blitz them!" With Shotaro sending a healing wave for the group, Gabe would then start the ambush for the demon. It mattered that Gabe's most precious utility was being dampened, his magic would hit a little bit less for the time being when it came to these demons. However, Gabe wasn't about to make this the end of him. If his magic were to hit weaker, Gabe would just have to make due with what he had.

So stuff went to bull crap pretty fast. One moment they were just strolling about without a care in the world, and the other they were being chased by something that somehow seemed to exhude a deadly aura of grim death and pain, while still looking like a gay as fuck landsknecht skeleton from a lame ass game or something shitty like that. Frog could barely keep the salty irony (look at that pun, salt and iron) inside of his guts, basically churning to wanna spit it all out over and floor and whatnot, like Invidia probably puked hair from the girls he ate. Being as he was, Frog was no panicking, his sullen and mischievous pretend bravado gone as fast as it came, and as fast as the demon was actually running after them. It wasn't fair, really. How were they supposed to shake it off their tail.
"Hey this bastard is fuckin' cheating!" Frog shouted as he ran for his life, the chasing demon basically breathing down their asses already. How the hell it moved so quick and why it appeared was way out of his knowledge. He couldn't quite think of any explanation and really didn't want one either. He just wanted the thing to drop dead or something. "Yo, Tuxedo Guy, you were right, we should've hurried right away. I'm sorry, gggngh." He mumbled as a droplet of sweat rolled down his chin from under the mask. Without much thought, he popped and downed a snuff soul. If they're gonna fight, he might as well fight as hard as he can. Surely this enemy couldn't be that strong. Like, if they were stronger than Invidia or something, then this thing was basically really cheating and should have just been the district head instead of that pompous idol eating jerkface.
"Thank you, man. I would've healed but I was running out of steam. Let's just do this. Errrrrrrr, and if that guy catches up to us, we'll... we'll take him on. I'm sure we can." Frog turned to the Tuxedo Guy once again. None of them were expecting this, and the most they could do was run now and fight their way through faster than ever. There were more demons up ahead. They've gotta bust through them and be on with their business. These things should've minded their own asses instead of coming here to mess with them, especially in a moment of desperation.

Knight came across the collection of disenchanting baubles and kept them in his hand, distributing them to the rest of the cast as he passed them and naturally keeping one in his stash pocket. So far, he didn't have to dip into many of the Snuff Souls he had stockpiled for a dungeon run like tonight. Maybe it was because the rest of the terrorist crew blasting foes apart with their seemingly stronger Persona skills. Unfortunately for the Frog Prince, they would only keep skipping out on treasures that didn't lay in their direct path. True to Shotaro's statement, Lui hadn't experienced the dark and disturbing aura of the bony fiddler in his previous trips with Void and Batilde into the dungeon they were familiar with. This creature moved with impossible speed, already cackling in the hallway Lui had just escaped from moments ago.
"Yeah, I'm not going anywhere near that fiend. Our priority needs to be getting rid of these masks as soon as possible. This thing is insanely fast, and if the structure of these mask rooms are symmetrical to the other side, we might be reaching a dead end with the last mask room. Much as I wish we didn't have to, we may run into this thing sooner than we would like. If at all possible, we need to run. Fighting is an undesired last resort.
We can't risk coming back another night, yeah. We already busted down their doors guns ablaze, and we might get saddled with murdering the bouncer. If we're going to make headlines tonight, we better have accomplished what we needed to before we become the targets of those Cadets. However, I'd say negotiations are off the table. Not only are the demons stronger than where we started, but that fiend isn't going to wait up for us while we talk. Maybe we'll go to a dash another night, Shotaro."
After feeling some of his physical fatigue fade with Gabe's healing skill, Lui glanced down the hallway to catch a glance at the next foe in their path. To think Invidia was only a mask away from being on the receiving end of the playhouse's justice. How twisted was this man? Could he combat the terrorist group with their Persona skills? If he's in league with the Queen, anything was possible.
"Alright, Shiro! Closing in on the enemy. Let's clean house nice and quick, everyone!"

“Well… you know, on the bright side, this could be much worse; we could be running into a scissor attack.” Ragnarok reasoned as he ran away from the fiend with the rest of the group. He didn’t know exactly what, but… this monster – whatever the hell it was – emanated an aura of death and doom. Even if it didn’t necessarily look all that tough, Fenrir was clearly telling him to back off while he still could, so Selenus heeded his advice. “Jesus Christ, it’s like a Tim Burton fantasy.” Either that or a monster from a cheap, tacky horror movie. “Why’s it chasing us anyway? Is it working for the government? What the hell is a demon that powerful doing on Isla’s command?” They’d already established that shady shit was going on, but this could potentially be much worse than even they had anticipated if something like… that thing was answering to them.
“Thank you, Shotaro.” The canine thanked the magician as they continued to run through the depraved halls of the house of cards. It was at times like these that Selenus wished he’d been more demanding during his testing period about the infrastructure of his body, as being frail was not his strong suit (pun not intended). “He’s right, we shouldn’t waste any more time grabbing treasure or whatnot. If this is their first line of reinforcements, I don’t want to meet whatever they call the big guns.” Though then again, maybe this was their heavy artillery. He certainly wouldn’t put it past the government to clear out an anthill with a nuclear bomb.
The chase proceeded without many notable events until Ragnarok’s left back-paw had the misfortune of perfectly wedging itself inside a crack in the floor of the club. “Shit!” He exclaimed in frustration and stress as he tried to pull out his leg through sheer force, looking back at the ever-approaching fiend in panic, each subsequent attempt only wedging his paw in further. After the fiend had gotten dangerously close and Ragnarok realized this wasn’t working, he materialized a silvery knife from within his dark, fiery pelt and quickly stuck it into the crack, wedging it out with relative ease and allowing him to break out into a frenzied escape once more.
“Seriously, fuck whoever’s in charge of the tiling here!” Ragnarok cursed as he caught up with the rest of his team, ready to blitzkampf the demon before them.

" At the very least, I could put on some damage. but with this mask and horrible smell..... I don't know...... If anything, this is now a sense of desperation.
