Frog never did appreciate being appreciated by someone. Despite what he did for the girl here, he wanted her to take it as something that he did out of dutifulness to their original goal here, even though he himself knew that wasn't true. He also couldn't object to how grateful she was taking all of this because he'd just end up looking like a jerk in that case.
He glanced to the side before speaking to her, ignoring her other question. He certainly didn't hate her. Sure, he was annoyed over her incompetence but that was it. Their eyes met and he directed her a momentary strict stare before glancing away again. "Yeah, I did. You also have a SIM card and a prepaid card that will last for a short while as you settle for the phone in the bag." He wasn't sure if she could even understand what he was saying. With a sigh, Frog placed a hand over his face and continued. "You need a SIM card to be able to use your phone. It has your number on it. And you need to buy prepaid cards because making phone calls costs, so that money goes into that. You can buy them at shops like this or basically anywhere, really. Do you get that much?"
