She had Maverick walk in front of her as they continued to pass through the numerous hallways of the academy. The dorms was this troublesome Cadet's new home and his new prison. Maria still couldn't wrap her head around why Julius would even bother to approve him. But orders were orders and Cadets were to only follow them.

Maria knew where their destination was so she made sure to speak out some directions from time to time as needed. While she was carrying her coffin in one shoulder, she was ready to act in the next split second should Maverick give her any reason to strike back with great prejudice. That said, she remained mostly silent as they continued to walk.
