Home Sweet Home...Well Almost (Grex)

The young man had kept his mouth shut and hadn’t complained as he was released from prison after two years. The police couldn’t hold him when there was no proof outside of the small amount of drugs that had been found on him. Besides he was a well behaved prisoner. A “changed man” as some would say. Surely if he was criminal he wouldn’t be displaying such behaviors. On top of that the public saw him in such a bright light that it was almost shameful what the police were doing to him. Oh yes being released was indeed sweet after being in the pits all that time, but the release was not as sweet as it could’ve been.

Standing in the living room of his well kept house (got love servant bots), the young man with mint green hair would look around at his things with an eye of appreciation that he usually didn’t have. It was so nice to be home. He could finally have a decent meal, shower, and an actual bed. Oh yes, I am going to enjoy this, he thought with a smirk and then remembering the side that didn’t make this deal so sweet, the young man would frown slightly as he blinked and shifted crimson eyes to the dog like creature with him. This was Officer Grex, the mutt that had tricked him and got him into the can to begin with. Did he despise the guy for what he had done? No. Not at all. He gave the guy kudos for playing his cards well; however, well played or not that still did not change the fact that he was a cop….and said cop was now supposed to be his watch dog. This was the condition for his release ya know? One of the police’s own would be living with him and watching his every move. Or at least that was how it was supposed to work, though the man had to wonder if this one would actually do his job. Hmph. He’d have to have to wait and see.

In any case after a brief study of the guy, the young man would look away as he looked around the house once more before shifting in his spot to drift over to a wine cabinet. As he moved he spoke.


“Alright Pup Pup. I guess the place is your place now. I have an extra room if you wanna crash in there and the bots can get you whatever you want,” he would pause pulling down a wine glass and after selecting a wine, he would pour himself a half glass of the red liquid. Setting the bottle down, he would hold the glass loosely in one hand as he looked over at the cop with narrowed eyes before smirking. “I would tell you to stay out my way, but your job is to be in my way isn’t?” He would deliver it all in a calm, pleasant manner, but one look in his eyes told that he did not appreciate this arrangement. Ah well. At least he could try to be civil right?
