Meeting Nola (Gabe)

Trinity nodded as that seemed to be settled for the time being, "that is fair...I wouldn't want her to know anyway and I doubt the others would feel differently" Her Isolationist streak showing itself a bit by that admission. Sure she had let Selenus and Tatsui get close, but that was her choice, as was Gabe. But having someone suddenly learn of her against her wishes, that bothered her to an extent, maybe it was just the fact that she was always hiding from the press? she didn't really notice however.

Hearing Gabe ask his question she nodded a bit "We have differences, and I can see you have many things you need help with...but I see you mean me no harm..." she said as she looked at him, she knew now how vulnerable Gabe was, he tried to hide it, and when people got close he would put on that arrogant air to deflect them, he might have thought he was being clever, but he had done it so often around her that it was impossible for her not to notice, though it helped that her siblings were watching as well, Had he not tipped his hand so heavily with Alister maybe they wouldn't have known? Though with how Gabe had been acting since the incident she doubted that would have been the case as he had been acting like that since reviling his past to them all. but at least she could see past it now. and maybe he learned to drop it as well? or at least was learning to at the very least.

"I wouldn't call myself a needy person, help is appreciated, but i wouldn't beg for it. Not really, in my opinion at least. Maybe i'm old school, but i was raised to believe that it was impolite to assert your problems on to someone else. You cant be a strong pillar for someone if you are incapable of supporting yourself when the going gets tough. I'm the leader, that means you are supposed to rely on me to an extent, right? That's why i act the way that i do. " Gabe was glad that he got that off of his chest, he needed to be strong for the team. It's just that it gets mixed in with his stubbornness.

"I have things i need help with, and frankly, so do you. Our opinions clash, and differ, but maybe, you can learn to find the benefit in keeping those close to you that share a different opinion. Maybe they might catch on to something you may of missed. Either way, i'm willing to consider anything to keep us alive. I just hope we can only move forward together now, as comrades.

Nola nodded a moment, she didn't say he was needy but she let his assumption drop, after all she assumed he was reflexively slipping back into that habit again, so she simply continued to listen to him. he did seem to think that a person had to stand alone to be a leader and she shook her head a bit to that "A leader needs to rely on the people they are leading at all times, otherwise they will never know what they can leave to them...we are to rely on each other, the role of a leader is not to be an immovable pillar, but a gathering point where all our strength can be added" she said remembering some of the tactics books she liked to read.

Hearing the second part of what he had to say she nodded a bit "I hope that as well, but for now, is there anything else we should talk about?" She felt that they had covered the main issue of what happened between them, so she felt that other then some friendly chatting there was nothing left to work out, however she wasn't sure if that's how Gabe felt on the issue and so she waited to hear what he had to say.

"Well, nothing really, but how about some desert? Maybe we should get our mind off of the whole gloomy stuff and go off to baskin robins, it's not too far from here. " Gabe would say with a smile, changing his tune to match a more upbeat one. "I mean, it should end on a good note right? We can go together, or i can bring you back a scoop of some kind. "He had nothing else to talk about, so Gabe figured that he should give the girl little treat before they parted ways for the evening.

Nola looked at Gabe as he made his offer to get some sweets, she looked at her manner of dress, then nodded a moment, "Okay..just let me get dressed in something more appropriate" she requested as she headed up stairs to get changed for the little outing, glad that at least they worked out their main differences
