Well, the good thing was that they didn’t have to worry about anything bad happening to them. The skeleton man did indeed play nice and give them a treat in the form of five pieces of candy each. As Haru caught the candy and deposited it in a bag he carried neatly at his side, he'd find himself on neutral grounds when gift came this. He wasn’t disappointed nor excited about this. They had gained candy, but still needed to get more if they wanted to win this. So as the skeleton left, Haru's blue eyes would drift to their leader as he complained about the amount given and then spoke on the matter at hand. Heh. It looked like they could finally agree on something.
“I would agree. The treat option is not the best one even if it may guarantee free candy. The other thing we should do is try to get as many of those demons wandering about wiped out too. I am not sure how much we candy we can gain from them, but any amount of candy that keeps us ahead of the other is fine by me,” the idol would say his voice never shifting from calm and soft. From there, the idol would become quiet once more as he joined the others on the ship once again and they took off. As they traveled, the idol would stand a bit off from the group as he leaned against the railing of the ship and listened to the chatter going on and watched how each interacted with one another. For the most part he’d stay quiet his blue eyes, drifting to Lune as she made a big deal about the ship.
“I suppose it is pretty neat” he respond back to the woman his expression serious and his tone as calm as always as his eyes drifted from the woman back to the redhead as the conversation turned to strength and demons.
“Mmm. Well then, you can prove your strength on the field if we get into a battle,” the idol would say taking a neutral stance on the matter. One could talk all they wanted, but unless they could actually back it up with action, the idol wasn’t going to buy it. Even so he wasn’t being hostile with the comment as he folded his arms and gave a light blink before speaking again.
“I am afraid your references make no sense to me; however, I can tell you that demons can be just as twisted and vicious as humans. Some will simply attack and others will be like the one we just encountered, intelligent enough to speak and smart enough to understand what you are saying back. Just like people, their intelligence, skills, and what they may or may not do varies. I advised to be cautious when encountering them.” He would give a bit of information from what he knew, the knowledge for him pretty basic and not exactly something hushed, hushed in his world so he shared common knowledge before becoming quiet again as the conversation veered off into territory that did not concern him once more. Comments about the red head blowing up in combat, conversations about memories, and then another about costumes went by him as his eyes drifted to watch the scenery for a bit. He would watch the grim scene pass finding it soothing for some reason, but then being drawn back to reality he would focus on the kid of the group as he spoke to him directly.
“The pleasure is mine,” the idol would say offering the kid a small smile before his eyes drifted to the one called Jack, who spoke to him next. He would give a light nod to the "pleased to meet you" part before tilting his head at the other as he mentioned the costume he wore. Okay, he understood Nightmare Before Christmas, but he wasn’t to clear on this whole Sora thing. Yes he had seen that name in the description of the picture he had referenced, but outside of that he hadn’t dug into where said name came from too much. He just saw a design he fancied and so went with it. So naturally this caused him to raise an eyebrow a bit curious.
“Thank you, but um...this Sora. Who is that precisely?” he would ask Jack though how wise that was yet to be seen.
In any case, his attention would eventually drift from the ranger back to Lune as she decided to try and make a joke.
“Heh.” was the amused sound that escape the idol. The pun was not that great, but her effort and enthusiasm for the whole deal was amusing rather than annoying for now; however, his smile would fade slightly as their leader made comments directed at him and the girl in regards to the candy. To what was said, the idol would raise his eyebrows slightly.
“You are suggesting I hold onto everyone’s bags until the end? Why? Also, you said we divide the candy, but how can that be done fairly when you are already calling dibs on things simply because you are the leader?” Oh yes. He challenged that one big time, but not in a hostile way. He was just curious of this guy’s logic. He gave the task of securing the bags to Haru, but turned around and displayed distrust by directing the snacking bit at himself and Lune. Then on top of that, he stated that they were to split catch evenly though...technically it had already been done since the skeleton dude had given them each five piece. In any case, the idol didn’t see how it was even or fair when their leader claimed all of a certain type. While he did take note of the whole chocolate bit making him wonder if the other was allergic to it or something, did the redhead not ever stop to think that maybe someone else might share the same dislike or bad reaction to chocolate as himself? It was a peculiar matter on all fronts and so the level headed and logical male challenged him for clarity.
Regardless where that went, the young man would go from relaxed on the rail he leaned against to becoming tensed as his attention turned towards a sound he heard. It sound like a distance voice, calling a name….and something about that voice made him feel uncomfortable. He would push off the railing as he moved closer to the back of the ship trying to see if he could see anything, but nothing was there….and yet it was. Great another place that was going to mess with his head huh? Can’t get enough that it seemed. Tch! Regardless of that the idol would eventually look back towards the others.
“I don’t just feel it, I heard it too. Though I don’t think I want to find out who or what that voice belongs too,” the idol would begin his eyes drifting from Jack to the others
“Let’s try to stay away from and ahead of whatever is out there.”Just as that one worry was gained another was added to the pile as they did indeed run into demons to fight. Well at least this new worry could be dealt with easier than the other.
