The Doomed Graveyard (Hyde's Alliance) | Closed. Opens on Hallow's Eve

The air was chilly, causing some of the more delicate of people to shiver in its foreboding embrace. The dry grass made a soft, yet audible crunch with each footstep. The deceased twigs swayed slightly from the winds that swept past them. The graveyard was one of eternal rest and of peace. It was a place that should be well left alone.


What sort of greed had All Hallow's Eve gripped them around their hearts? Their reasons are something they all share, but will their desire be out-matched by those that rest here?

Aright guys, it’s about time for the roll call!!!” Hyde would say as he tipped his hat and pet the small parrot that was beside him. It looked like a bird, smelled like a bird, breathed like a bird. But was it really a real bird? The world may never know, l but right now, Hyde was in a pinch. He found himself in such a weird place in order to gather some candy with his friends. “Alright Alright Alright!!!!!!! Hype uup!!!” Hyde would say as he summoned his soulbound spear and twirled it around. He was happy and excited, getting ready for the trip up ahead. “Aright guys, Jack, haru… a new person that I never met but you seem pretty cool to me!! And Nilo….. Alright .. all men! So good, we can be the nastiest pirates of them all. Hahaha!! But as long as I’m captain, we can share out the candy that we plunder from the other people here..or…demons…” Hyde summoned his twilight buccaneer and looked at it. “Wait, this isn’t codas…who are you?” The pirate looked at hyde, holding his gaze for 10 seconds before saying its super secret pirate language. “yar! Yahar!! Arrrrrr!!” Hyde nodded his head as he looked back to the group.

“So pretty much, he said that being a demi god and all, I’m going through some changes, so I guess I’m stuck with him for the time being. However, he did tell me of this cool ability that I want to show you guys, ready?” Hyde was apparently full of energy as the twilight buccaneer started spreading some mist around Hyde with cackling laugh. “Alright, there is a small chance that we might not have to fight if were lucky enough, don’t want to waste any of our energy. But seriously guys, let’s catch up. How have you guys been since I was gone? I was watching from up there jack, you was a pretty good police officer. You know, you never really have to dress up as a hero if you dedicated your life to being a hero for the people. Also, Nilo, I you was in heaven…right? Don’t worry I pulled a lot of strings to get you there but it does include a lot of sleeping, not so fun. But were back now!!!! “ Hyde looked at Haru, probably figuring that he didn’t know what he was talking about. “Sorry if I’m not making any sense, but watch out. Lets see if this works. YAr Har!

The pail moonlight glinted off the finely polished red dome of Jacks helmet. His Morpher attatched firmly to his side right next to his blaster."GO GO! Let's go! Let's! Take the helm" With a quick adjust of his collar, Captian Jack felt a sudden need to hunt down treasures beyond his wildest dreams! "In the sea that spreads out in front of you, We will carve a path that was not there!"

In a brilliant flash of red and silver, a second figures stood next to the red clad pirate, this one clothed in a mirror finish of silver and grey. "Let's go! Let's! Gokaiger! Go! Go! Let's go! Let's! In the eye of the storm!" This second figure struck a heroic pose as the duet reached a crescendo, and both voices became one!




"Kaizoku Sentai! GOKAIGER!" Jack and AkibaRed struck the poses from the show flawlessly as they stood side by side! Ready for Trick Or Treating!

The two would wait for any response before breaking character"Heh... Sorry about that guys... I didn't plan on doing the whole thing but... The costume got to me ya know? Heh! Anyway! Hyde it's good to see ya! How's... ya know... the whole being a god thing going for ya? And I know I can be a hero without the mask... Gosh why dose everyone tell me that... I just like the mask! It's cool ya know!"

"Don't let it get to you Marvelous-San!" AkibaRed Felt the need to stay in character... can ya blame the poor guy?

Curiosity killed the cat, so they say, but one had to wonder how true that statement was when held against the current predicament that the idol had found himself in now. You see he had spotted an event flyer floating around for this Halloween Event and after poking into it a bit via various networks, he thought that maybe he should go ahead and try it out. It was a chance to actually socialize for once and since it was a social event Mother had no qualms about making room for him to attend said event. In fact, she was a bit too thrilled when she found out about the event and doubly so when she found it was Halloween based. Because Halloween meant she could dress him up as she pleased right? Yeah no. He may have submitted to that sort of game when he was like 12 or something, but now that he was an adult there was no way he was going to let her do that. He did not want to be submit to humiliation once more thanks to her games and besides there was a second motive that caused him to flat out rebel against the idea. While he was an performer for the stage, but at his core he was an artist...and an artist needed challenges, so why not challenge himself by trying to find a design he liked and then mimic it?

He had time, so using the lie he already had something in mind he managed to escape Mother’s plotting and lock himself away for a few hours to actually find and create said costume. Finding a design was a small challenge since he was being a bit picky, but he did find this nice Kingdom Hearts one that looked promising and so decided to go with that. With a picture in mind, getting ready took up the rest of his time and to be honest for someone who was such a perfectionist he made some good timing with it all and probably would’ve even gotten out of the door in good time, but alas his curse was always to get caught by Mother when it looked like he would make it on time to something he wanted to do or needed to do that didn’t pertain to the business. He honestly didn’t understand how the woman timed things like this, but she always managed to find some way to stall him. This time around it was a minor photoshoot that he couldn’t get away from since she had pretty much barred the stairs.

Yeah, he could’ve bolted over the railing and all that jazz, but honestly he didn’t want her knowing he had the ability to do some form of parkour. If she did find out, she would surely take advantage of it and try to market….like she was probably going to do with those pictures now that he thought about it. That aside though with the mini-photoshoot done, the idol had gotten out of the door and had moved at a reasonable speed down the streets to make it to the location he was supposed to go to be at least be fashionably late rather than just flat out tacky late. It was a hard gamble, but he managed to work with it. He’d get through the streets and by some stroke of luck managed to even meet a kid who called himself Nilo who was heading the same way and was apparently going to be late too. Yay for company in the same boat. So walking along with the kid, they would eventually reach the location which was a graveyard.

The idol would take in the forbidding look of the place wondering for only a short moment what was actually out there. While he didn’t exactly believe in ghosts, he could not deny the odd presence in the area a presence that reminded him of the creatures that lurked around at night back in the city. He had remembered something on that event flyer about candy and order to get said candy they had to fight creatures. A rather odd concept, but hey training plus a reward if he won? He couldn’t complain about that. However, before he could get excited by that idea, a rather loud voice started to speak causing the idol would focus on the speaker. It was a red head kid dressed as a pirate. As to what the guy said, the idol would find himself frowning a bit confused at the matter.

First off the guy was very excited. A little too excited for the idol’s taste, but that was a minor thing. What wasn’t so minor was how he had even gotten his name. Considering he was quite sure he had never met this guy before, so what was up with that? Did the event sign up thingy tell names and he just hadn’t noticed? Maybe, but even if that had been his method of gaining the names given, the fact he had taken the liberty of shortening his name rather than using his full name or even asking if he could do that was a bit rude in the idol’s opinion, but eh. Maybe he was being a bit too picky there, so he decided to play nice and let the error go just this once as his mind got swept away by the rest of the confusing matter. Like how the guy how the guy seem to make a judgement call about him without even knowing him or the fact that there was no discussion of who was going to be leader either. The redhead was just going to be it... Becasue apparently he was a demi-god or something? And he could summon persona too. Okay...that was probably the only thing that made sense right now.

The persona. He was familiar with that, but the rest? Well...he didn’t know what to say about the rest, but somehow despite the small frown and the tilt of his head thanks to confusion, the idol managed to shake it off as he gave the redhead a small smile.

“Nah. It’s okay,” he would say calmly before pausing as the other guy with them, started to act out. If he thought that the whole pirate thing from before was odd, watching Ranger Red over there pretty much mimic a show he’d probably seen once or twice when he was younger, the idol had to wonder just how this was all going to pan out. On one hand, he was a bit skeptical of this group. The play was over the top and in a normal circumstance, maybe he would’ve told them to pull their shit together and stop clowning around. They did technically have a job to do so the Cadet saw no reason for this behavior, but then again this wasn’t a mission either. It was suppose to be a fun thing despite the fact that the potential of demons attacking was there.

Though if they expected him to be overly enthusiastic about the matter, they had another thing coming. He was not even going to waste his energy with that sort of play. The cadet would remain relax and serious as the group began to move out, the two ahead chatting with each other as they moved. Watching them for a second, Haru would look down at the kid (provide he had not moved) and give a light gesture that simply said “come on” before he moved to follow the energetic pair ahead of him.

Did it actually work? Did they managed to get past the demon without putting up much of a fight? “Wow, that was easy. “Hyde would say as he led the team past the demon pack, right under its noses.  “Well, I think the first instance of getting some of that good old fashioned C-A-N-D-Y is up ahead fellas!” Hyde was still enjoying himself to a degree, wondering if they would face any trouble once they got over there. Though he did  remember hearing Jack asking him a question about being a god. “Huh? It’s boring, I want to go home if I’m being honest with you. Hanging with my friends and starting a restaurant, I did have dreams before i went into the whole “Saving the world” thing, you know? But hey, it’s kind of like you, gotta do what you gotta do and stuff like that.  Moving on.” That’s a pretty nice outfit haru….”Hyde would say as he pointed to the floating name  that had Haru’s name in kanji.
“Well, the reason why I know your name and all, is that we did have a brief introduction montage once we entered without names floating above our heads. Ok, so this is much of the fourth wall breaking, but It’s an OVA so why not, right? I think that’s the last of the surprises and whatnot. “ There was hints and bits of the comedic relief left, but it was over now. “Well then, this super hero outfit of yours….i only have one question!!!” Hyde said as he looked at Jack up and down. “Why didn’t I get one?”  

Twas a good question, but Hyde noticed Nilo’s costume and how adorable he was. “Wait.. nilo..you haven’t aged a day, did you have a drink from the fountain of youth or something?  And hey Lune…wait… lune! You ran away from my banana joke! I’m still mad about that you know? That wasn’t very nice…. “ Though, right now, there was  something up ahead.  “Oh, wait, I think I see the people with the candy up ahead. Or maybe it’s some sort of…demon or shadow..or…maybe it’s an angel. Think we might run into an angel in order to get the candy?” Hyde was already ecstatic, wondering If this will be a trick or treat.  “Hey!! Hyde would say to the demon ahead. “Trick or treat, give us something good, yar!!!! i'm ready for candy!

"Nilo! So glad we're gunna be on the same team! It's been way to long! Haha! You never even got to see me with my Prime Persona have you? Huh, I still had Golem back then even... Wow...So much future stuff happened." Jack couldn't help but wax nostalgic as he thought back on his days before joining Angle and getting his powered up personas... With a laugh he would toss an arm around his little buddy and feel all his cares melt away."Ether way this is gunna be great! We're gunna get the most candy, win this contest, and become KING OF THE PIRATES" Jack hardly took note as the ship floated over the demons below. Far to distracted with maryment

However a bit of his good cheer dropped when he saw Lune..."Oh... Hey there... I'm not sure how space time works so I gatta ask if we're fighting when you come from... Cus when I come from we are. Is that a weird question... I feel it's a weird question. And you there!" Jack would point a dramatic finger towards Haru who obviously seemed to want nothing to do with this..."I don't know your name!... Hi. My name's Jack."

"And Hyde you don't get one because you're lame... Sorry that's just how it is..." Jack smirked under his helmet as he pulled a large black trash bag from his suit and held it aloft for candy"Trick or Treat! Hand over the candy or we'll Make ya Walk the plank!"

Action:

Well this was certainly a full house wasn’t it? As the last two joined in, Haru would take note that the albino kid at least seemed to be serious and not clowning around too much yet as the dark skinned girl with him decided to add onto chaos with a rather terrible joke; however, instead of being annoyed the idol found himself smiling a bit as he shook his head at this. Well, he can’t knock people for wanting to have fun he supposed. Even so, the idol still did not break down to join them as he simply lingered back and watched the interaction between the group he was with.

He would listen to the chatter that occurred when the one in red had question their leader about being a god or something. For the most part the answer back was more or less okay. It still didn’t make an ounce of sense to him, but he supposed that is what happened when folk were from different places and knew of different events that were much more different than what was occurring in Endymion. He would let the chatter go on, his blue eyes drifting to lock on the demons they had just past….He could’ve sworn the flyer mentioned something about fighting to gain candy...well it was one group so he suppose if this wasn’t a constant thing...he would be alright with it. He would sure hate to plow through this without getting a fight in and more importantly the candy needed to win this thing.

Minor things aside, the idol’s eyes would drift back to the red-head as he made a comment about his outfit. To what was heard the idol would give the other a slight smile. “Thank you. Your outfit is pretty neat too,” he would say his voice remaining soft as usual as he took the compliment humbly. And maybe just maybe the idol woud’ve remained calm enough; however, the red head had to do something that the idol just didn’t swallow well. It went back to the name bit. As the red-head gave the reason for him knowing the names (even though he had never asked out loud, so he supposed his expression had spoken to the other even more), he would recieve an unreadable stare from the idol as for a split second Haru debated just how much of an ass he wanted to be. On one hand, he was going to just deal with this silliness and let it slid off of him, but now this one had decided to go into a realm that Haru didn’t play well in. Yes, he could joke, but really this was just beyond that at this point causing the idol a small bit of annoyance, but somehow when he spoke his words came out calmly enough.

“I am not sure what floating names and all that means. If you think all that is going to simply convince me that is how you know my name, then you have another thing coming. You’ll have to make up something a lot more convincing than that.” It would seem the idol had either missed the joke or wasn’t taking pleasure in whatever it was this was. A bad thing? Maybe, but the idol didn’t know how to play very well with strangers, so it was what it was going to be. Hopefully the other wouldn’t take things too badly, but he would just have to wait and see.

In any case, things would move along as the conversation shifted to other chatter and noticeable dips and turns occurred between the group that seemed to know each other. Heh, so he was the odd ball out. Well that was fine. He could deal with that.

The idol was very much on the edge of going back to his thoughts when the one in red decided to introduced himself the correct way. Though why this happened when the matter of names had passed was beyond him, even so the idol didn’t think too hard on it as his expression softened slightly as he gave the other a polite nod despite the over dramatic way of being called out. “It’s nice meet you, Jack. My name is Hatsuharu. Though Haru is fine too,” he would say. Might as well stick with the shortened name. In any case, the idol had answered, but became quiet after that as things went back to talk of the suit the one name Jack wore. As listened, he would continue to move along with the group, but instead of doing the whole trick or treat thing like the others did, the idol eyes would narrow as he waited to see what would appear before them.

Action:

When the group finally arrived what seemed to be a very vast clearing, it was very silent. This much open space stood out from the rest, because of such a small difference like this, it was in various ways unsettling. Before taking that time to wonder why it was so spacious someone called out to them. It was a voice that rasped, gaining their attention. "hOy! wHo GOes THerE?"

It began to approach them. As the distance shortened, the figure seemed to be in green, with a flowing scarlet cloth and a sword.

The space they arrived in was a lot more spacious than the paths they had been traveling. Spacious and quiet. A good place for the chilling air of the area to really seep into skin and in turn allow that feeling of something unseen watching them from the dark to be felt even more. The uneasy air was there and maybe someone of a weak heart would’ve taken off by now; however, no one here was running, so that was a plus. Even when the presence that had been in the area made itself known, everyone held their ground though if anyone was running from this thing….then he’d be mildly amused. Maybe his own mind was a bit twisted, but he honestly was not afraid of the skeleton before them. Yes he understood it was a demon, but at the same time as long as it wasn’t flat out attacking them why be to worried about it? It spoke, so that meant it had some intelligence behind it, right?

Well, he supposed that was debatable, but in the end, the demon approached and a question was posed. The idol would look to the others and after a small talk with them to figure who was going to speak to the creature, blue eyes would eventually look over at the demon as he opened his mouth speak with it. He just prayed this conversation went better than the last time this had occurred to him. Well here goes nothing.

“What do we desire?” the idol would repeat and then tilt his head at the skeleton guy before them. “How about a treat?” His voice was a calm as ever because clearly it was normal to have conversations with skeleton in a graveyard in the dead of night.

Action::

The skeletal demon drew from his coat a bundle of candies. He tossed it towards Haru to catch. When seeing the package in his hands, Matador walked away.

Party Received:

After letting haru handle the entire candy situation, Hyde caught the candy with his bag and looked back at the leaving matador. “What, only five pieces?” Hyde jingled his bag a little bit more and frowned, he was expecting more. “guys I don’t thing we are going to get much candy from these guys if we always pick treat. Yes, it’s easy, but we are in a contest to see who gets the most candy. Maybe we should pick trick next time just to see what happens?” Hyde was voicing his concerns to the rest of the group as he activated sukaja after switching to his flying Dutchman. “Alright, speed boost on!!! Lets tackle a shadow and get the blood moving! Fair warning, I’m out of practice so forgive me if I don’t hold up . However…” Hyde would then fled an arm as the parrot on his shoulder would make a squak. “I’m strong! Jack will vouch for me! Or… I hope that Jack will vouch for me. “ As they received the boost in speed in order to get a feel of the limberness and be a bit more prepared for the fight ahead,  Hyde would  hold onto his pirate ship‘s rope as he moved forward in a dramatic like way.

“Yar har! I wonder how strong these demons will be? I never really fought a demon before. I fought a god before, maybe even an angel, I think. But never a demon, are they just as scary as that tamara woman? Hey, watching from above, I saw this woman named tamara, does this mean that he same person will show up around here because it’s Halloween?” Hyde would say questioningly, but then he looked back at Nilo. “Nilo, it’s me, hyde. Why doesn’t everyone remember me?” Was there something to Hyde coming back that he didn’t understand himself? Was there a bit of existence issues that he had to deal with? If he had to exist, did it mean that his initial friends don’t remember him? Why does Jack remember him? Is it because he has the world persona?”

Well Haru! Make sure you secure the candy, and no snacking on the way alright?! We have to divide the candy evenly among ourselves. Hyde then eyes Lune. “That goes triple for you Lune, I’m keeping all the Twizzlers and jawbreakers, and the rock candy. Pirate captain gets first pick. No chocolate for me though…” Then it was time to fight …

A wail could be heard in the graveyard. It sounded like a woman was calling for someone else. It was faint, but it was replete with longing and despair. There was a considerable distance away between the party and whoever was there.
