"Oh yes, you're like suuuuuuuch a trouble for me! As you can see in my face", and with that said, she readily made a humorous expression, putting her tongue out and cocking her own eyes, bursting into laughter right after. Her way of demonstrating she was totally cool with Gabe's presence; otherwise the girl wouldn't even hang out with him or invite him to her very private space, isn't that so?

"Yeah, that's the spirit!" After taking one sip of her wine, Brittany's eyes widened as if she had just a taste of the divine ambrosia. "Oh my gosh, I can barely taste the alcohol! Last time I've had a bit, you know, I almost vomited. Okay, not literally, but you get the idea. I think alcohol is, like, so intoxicating, but this one is soooo good! Where did you buy this?" At that point, she was getting ready for another sip (or sips, for that matter) and once it was almost done, she'd fill with wine the glass again to the top.

"Hmm.." Gabe would then think back to how his day started. "Well, for starters, i spent the entire morning looking for the right housewarming gifts. If anything, i didn't want to come here empty-handed, so i kept looking. That's usually where we find the treasures though..when we work so hard and determined to find something. " Gabe would take another sip and smile. "Remember when we went to that occult book store? In the same area, there is a vintage wine shop called little Italy that kind of has secret imports that alot of people dont know about. A special collection, not super expensive, but just out of the governments radar. It's alcohol, shouldn't be that big of a deal."

Gabe then turned to Brittany again. "And the rest is history. This city has many secrets...

She munched on a small piece of chocolate while listening to Gabe's explanation. It made sense, Backlight was a fun district with all kinds of shops. She doesn't wander around the area too much, though, she wouldn't know. "Ooooh. Is it where you bought this chocolate? Because my, it tastes so good I'm considering visiting Backlight more!"

After grabbing a few more pieces for herself, she pushed the box in Gabe's direction. It wouldn't be fair if she was the only one enjoying herself. "Have a bit. It's really good! And don't even throw me something like "oh no, I bought this for you"", she retorted back, with a good-humored but fake deep voice as if impersonating Gabe's tone. "You know, chocolate goes really well with wine. I should totally do this more often! Like, totally!"

PRomise.....oh and i do have some good news..i might be starting a business soon..." Gabe would say as he finished the wine glass. "It seemed like such an exciting moment, i would of loved to tell someone about it, so i'm glad i told you. "

With the response of doing it more often, Gabe nodded and took out one piece of chocolate. "This was definitely your gift, but as the host...how can i tell you no?

"Exactly! You can't!", she spoke with a wide smile, almost singing the last sentence in a teasing tone. Brittany wasn't selfish, sharing something, anything with her friends (or even with strangers) was just part of her character. Besides, more people eating the chocolate means less fatty she'll get if she ventured in the caloric territory.

"Hm, Gabe..."", she quietened down shortly after. Almost as she seemed a completely different person for a second because, frankly, being silent was so not Brittany at all. The girl had some things in mind, things that could bother her once a while, but never take permanently away her smile. "You're an amazing guy." She thought of saying more, as a matter of fact, but this would suffice for now. You can say a lot with few words, and Brittany, of all people, has learned it well over time.

"Me? Amazing?" Gabe lightly blushed as he pushed up his glasses. "I could count myself as an adequate male in the species that we call the human race. I atleast try to rise to expectations, but i truly appreciate the compliment. " After finally finishing his glass, Gabe started to pour himself some more. "So whats on your mind, or has been on your mind lately? Anything new in your life?

Gabe wanted to at least make conversation as he looked at Bernie's empty cage..

"Duh, alright! You're an...adequate male or whatever that means", she laughed at how old-fashioned Gabe could be, despite his relatively young age. Perhaps it has something to do with his raising, while she was much less...ceremonial and formal. It was funny. They were so different and he got flustered so easily at a single complement that she wanted to keep poking on him for teasing purposes.

"My mind...?"", she frowned, tilting her head to the side while pondering over the question. There was something new in her life, her new condition as a Psyche Terrorist. But that's really not a topic to talk with anyone. As much as she liked Gabe, she wouldn't confide him a secret that could potentially put her in danger. "No, nothing...but you know, I want to ask you something...", she picked one piece of chocolate, directing it to her mouth. Her hand stopped midway, however. "Hm, what do you think about psyche terrorists?"

What do i think about ...what now? Terrorists?" Gabe would say as he sat back and thought of it. "hmm...." Gabe couldn't outright say that he was one or anything of the sort. So why would that be up for questioning? He knew that bernard was one, does this mean that her owner was one too? Though, he couldn't see Brittany in that way. "Well, i think... they .... are people of miracles. " Which might seem strange to her as Gabe poured himself another glass. "Terrorists, well... they do have powers right? Much like the government. Though, a miracle in itself is something that you acquire, not something though legislation and royalty is given to you. How people use ....."gifts"....is up to their discretion, and that is why people are afraid of them.

Gabe then took a light sip. "Looking at it from different standpoints i mean. What do you think? What made you ask?

"I'm just curious", she tilted her head to the side, thinking while munching on the chocolate. "People have been talking about them a lot lately... Like they're some kind of evil force. I hear it at the school, I hear it at the streets...and you're, you know, the first person who has ever referred to them as people of 'miracle'." It was a fun thought. "Miracles", huh? But what kind of "miracles" exactly is Gabe talking about?

"What's evil about them? It's almost the same as treating the powers that they have as a gun. The gun you hold in your hands isn't evil, its's the person whose holding the gun in the first place. The same could be said for terrorists and the secret 0 class as well with all of those special skills. Whatever you think it might represent, has nothing to do as to who they are as people, human beings. What you do with it is entirely up to you, correct?" Gabe then took a big sip. "We can't label an entire group as evil and dangerous, were treating people differently because the media spins it in such a way and ...well.. they have different set of abilities. If we can be afraid of terrorists, why aren't we afraid of the cadets or the government? They can do the same things the terrorist can and its logical, how else can they stand against terrorists? They basically took over the city after the incident, they outrank the police, and they infringe upon our rights of freedom of speech. You should feel free to express dislike and not be ridiculed for it, correct?"

Gabe then realized he said alot. "Sorry, must be the nice wine loosening my lips. I'm just, naturally skeptical of whatever people want to call "The Truth" Truth, is nothing but a concept, a concept is a theory, a thory can be proven false or looked at from many different perspectives. "

Now, she was more than curious. She was simply...impressed! She couldn't help but open a large smile, widening her eyes in the utmost expression of joy and surprise! He thought just like her! "Yeah! I know, right? I mean, I'm just a bit bothered about how everyone paints them! Like, they're some kind of outlaws or something. Everything we hear is from the government's point of view, like, duh, of course they'll paint them bad if they want to, they're, you know, enemies! Isn't it, like, totally unfair? They should give people the right to defend themselves before condemning them guilty! Have you ever thought that maybe we don't know something about the government that we should know? Like some kind of...dictatorship or something?"

Woah woah, i didn't say ll that. Nothing can be certain unless we have all the facts, but what i did say that we should do is be suspicious and skeptical of what we see or hear. Personally, its the right way to go about life, because it hurts the most when you don't see it coming, while having the ability to. You know what i mean?" Gabe would then take out his deck of cards and shuffle them. Afterwards, he would place them on the table. " Queen......" Gabe would say as he flipped the top card and showed the queen. " Jack, king, ace....." With each time he said it, the next card is what he took off the top and placed next to the queen, rather skillfully.

"Royal family...... 10 to 2... maybe..... regular people?" Gabe would say as he placed those cards in a unique pattern on the table." And..... maybe a joker for terrorists? The wild card of the bunch?" Gabe then placed two jokers at the end of the table. From how it looks like, the regular cards were between the royal family and the joker. " Being surrounded like this, i wonder how stressful they think it must be for us regular people, right?

"Hm, yeah, I get it...but..." Honestly she didn't. "Being suspicious and skeptical...isn't it bad? If we live thinking always on the bad side, we will never enjoy as we could." Naive? Maybe. But it's how she views things, always looking on the bright side under a positive light. She could probably say more, if it wasn't for Gabe's card game making things even messier in her mind. No, just setting up how the city and its functions are working. Nothing really to do with fortune or anything. "The regular people are stuck in between, and they are kind of trapped. They could either..." Gabe took a basic card and placed it over to the royal side. "Join the queen and hopefully become a cadet. Or...." Gabe then took another basic card and place it between the two jokers. "Somehow become a terrorist. But have you ever wondered why there are two jokers? One represents the terrorists that maybe everyone sees, and maybe they're right sometimes. And the other...well... who knows, the other side of the reflective glass?"

Gabe then took another card and placed it sideways. "Someone whose regular like us whose been granted with a gift, but has no sort of... desire to do anything so..neutral much? And what if threes a third side? We still cant see demons, even though we know they exist..." Gabe would say as he took a card and placed it outside of the circle. "Just the inner workings of the world my dear, i'm trying my best to understand, but failing..
