Time in the Art room [Gabe]

It was earlier in the day and Sitting in the art's room Trinity simply took her time on a little clay sculpture she was working on, She was supposed to be practicing one of her instruments, but she had finished her practice for the day and was more intent on working on a sculpture she had pictured in her mind, it was an odd sculpture that popped into her mind but it was one she wanted to see if she could make, the large amount of twisted tortured looking models around her highlighting just how many times she had attempted to make the image in her head. But even after all those failures the girl continued, since it was simple modeling clay she could leave them for now and use them to see if she was improving, though at the moment she was more intent on the one she was currently working on.

She had come in early to do all her practicing since she hadn't much else to do today, and the sorority rooms where always open, but as usual there were not much people here this early, at least from the things she had noticed. She simply continued her work as she pondered what else she should try and create...or if she should go into the more advance practices she had set for the day that were meant to be done at night? Really if she did them now she would have more time to work on her sculptures but at the same time if she did that she would be throwing her schedule completely off the tracks and her parents wouldn't like that, they liked to keep her on schedule after all it made making her video's and doing the small public appearances easier for all of them.

As she worked the clay it too ended up looking like some twisted abomination begging for release, rather then the image she had in her head and she looked at it with her expressionless gaze for a moment before breathing in a bit through her nose, which was her only real expression at her work, and picking it up to set it gently and carefully next to the others around her, her height making it hard to simply hop off the tall stool she was sitting on. After she set it aside she looked at it and started to study it next to it's neighbor to see where she improved, and if she got worse in any one spot, though it was hard for her to tell, but she studied anyway and after a moment she picked up another ball of clay and started again.

The one thing she probably didn't notice was how not one of the models she had already made looked anything like the others at all despite her trying to make the same thing when she made each of them.

Believe it or not, Gabe has yet to join any sort of club at the school. It was kind of hard to find something that was to hold his interest for the time being. That was because of the time restrictions that he had, as well as the fact that he still had to manage work, school, and the fact that he was still partially obsessed with finding his parents. Either way, Gabe had his work cut out for him, but he wanted to be a little different this time around. "Knock knock....anyone here?"

Gabe found himself knocking on the door of the art club room. In truth, Gabe has been entering one club room at a time to check It out, doing his own research. In the end, he has yet to find a place that he felt like he belonged, but they seemed like good people overall. After letting himself in, Gabe looked to the girl and made a small bow.



" Sorry, was I interrupting something?"

Trinity looked at the model she was making, it was going well she thought as it had arms now, unlike any of the others, though as she finished it still somehow ended up looking some twisted abomination begging for the sweet relief of deaths embrace, not that Trinity even noticed that, she was busy studying it and gently moving it over to the side next to the last one she made to see if it was any improvement to her work. after all constant work always had some sort of pay off correct? Looking at the models she let out that same little huff that was really her only outward expression of anything and she noted it had improved a little, if only a small amount, she manged to make the shape smoother then the last ones which had been rather lumpy in comparison, and it even had arms, but could she get better? she would have to see and to do that she took another lump of clay and started to work it.

it was about that time that she heard a voice following a knock at the door and she turned her differently hued eyes towards the entrance to the room and looking at the man as he bowed and asked his question, was he interrupting anything? she tilted her head a moment and thought about that, here gaze not leaving the man, then after considering it no the man had not been interrupting anything at all and so she answered him as such "No you're not interrupting anything, how can we help you?" she asked simply her monotone and expressionless face directed towards him as she sat there among all the attempts she made to make the image in her head. Each looking like twisted creatures that longed to be unmade.

Studying the man she guessed he was an upperclassmen, at least his height made her assume so, though she couldn't remember seeing him in the halls during classes, but as she waited for him to reply she simply sat there studying him wondering if she would have more luck at modeling if she had a model instead of using the image in her mind?

"Oh oh!!!!" Gabe would then start to introduce himself. "An underclassman with such a talent like this?" Gabe would say as he took a look at the work of art the girl was making. "I got to say, it's an amazing piece of work, even if it does look like something people wouldn't understand. But as an artist, i feel like thats your job in a way. " Gabe would say as he point at his head. "Keep people thinking, have those wheels moving, you know? Provides insight when people get lost in your work."

Gabe would then sit down and observe. "Do you like it here?"

She looked at the man that stood there and then to her work as she complimented it all, the massive amount of little clay models all made with her lack of skill and he was calling them works of talent? Maybe he hadn't seen better ones? or perhaps he was being nice? Ether way it was nice to get a compliment on her work. Doing her neutral little gentle huff that was her only expression really she looked back to him as he continued to gush a bit over her work, and called her an artist. really she wasn't much of one, she was more of a musician then a sculptor and her work told her that much, but it was something she wanted to improve upon. However the man seemed to think otherwise and she thought it best to clarify this before he continue since it may lead to some embarrassment if she didn't.

Though the man continued to talk about her work and then he would take a seat, and she would simply rotate on her stool to watch him, keeping polite eye contact, though it would probably seem odd considering the fact that she hadn't blinked yet, and her face had remained expressionless, he then queried if she liked it in that place, and she pondered if he meant in the spot she was sitting, the art room, the sorority hall, or the school at large...maybe he meant the city? As she pondered her answer she tilted her head to the side still looking at the man and slowly blinking finally.

Finally she tilted her head back as she came upon her answer, it was rather obvious he meant perhaps in the club? since it seemed the most fitting given the situation. "We are not that good, Actually Myrna is a musician more then a sculptor, she is just practicing so she can get better...As for liking it here....We do...it's nice and people are nice in the wing, no bullies, and it's peaceful" she looked at her massive myriad of models, and at the lump she was about to work on before looking back at the man that had walked in and she tilted her head once more as she pondered why he was there.

"We are Nola, who are you?" she asked politely, though her face remained expressionless and her voice was monotone this whole time.

"Musician, is that so?" Gabe would say as he sits down on a nearby stool, crossing his legs and folding his arms politely. "what kind of instruments do you play then? I'm very interested in knowing about that too, in fact....... the mere meaning of art doesn't only revolve around painting and sculptures, music and singing is also a form of art. " Impressive, this group is incorporating all kinds of art into the program? It made gabe want to learn even more about it. " Nola?

Gabe would then give a small wave over to the girl. "My name is Gabe , it's a pleasure. " Looking around, Gabe wondered something. "Question, fair nola, why is it that you seem to be in this room all alone? Is club activities over for the day? Or is there a project you wanted to finish? If you dont mind me asking.

As the man sat down she let him talk as she reached into her backpack and pulled out a little baggie of cookies, and she took one out and popped the edge into her mouth and started to nibble on it, she then took out a second and offered it to him Wriggling the cookie in the air as he talked. Honestly it was just good manners to offer food to one when you started to eat, and as the man asked her about her instrument she nodded a bit and used her free hand to pop the cookie edge back out of her mouth and reply "Yes We play, and we play any instrument, We are well versed in all of them, even ones they do not have in the art room here".

He then went on to say that it was a type of art, which was also true, but she had been simply explaining that she wasn't really a sculptor when he seemed to assume she was, and he introduced himself, and asked yet another question, about the club and where the other members were, and she looked around the empty room and then her gaze returned to him as she tilted her head a bit to think, it was far to early for club activities, besides that there wasn't many members to the art club to begin with, she had only really seen three or four, but knew there were at least eight counting her of course.

"We come here to practice, club activities don't start till later, we come early so that we can practice with the clay, before the other sculptors get here and require it, and Myrna doesn't mind you asking," she wriggled the cookie once more as she returned to nibbling on the edge of the cookie she had for herself once more.

You wasn't very specific about the instrument part...maybe that means you can play all of them? That's quite the talent.." Gabe would say as he took the cookie from her, since the person kept asking if he wanted one, maybe it would be best to oblige and react to the offer. He didn't want to seem rude towards any showing of hospitality towards him. "You know Myrna, you speak in a very peculiar manner. As if there is someone i cannot see, if i was to make such an outrageous guess, it could be something related to 5 years ago. A demon perhaps?" Gabe would say with a smile. "But i only jest, id rather it anything but the sort. "

He hoped it wasn't a demon she was talking to. Maybe it was a pronoun thing? Gabe bit into the cookie and made a small sound. " Hmm, did you make these?

Tilting her head at his comment she then nodded when he asked if she played all of them, which was what she had told him, but maybe she said it in a confusing way? At least he figured it out and she nodded a bit as he took the cookie she offered and she continued to nibble on the edge of the one she kept for herself. She listened to the man continue to talk politely listening as he mentioned her manner of talking, and even asked about a demon, or rather he joked about it, Honestly she didn't know why he assumed such or rather joked about such but she tilted his head as he revealed his jest. It was an odd thing to joke about given the situation of the city at times, but she simply sat there and let it pass, though as he tasted the cookie she decided to answer.

"We are talking about us, we are the only ones in the room other then yourself, and Alister has always talked like this" she commented as she sat there with him, it was a nice moment of silence as she nibbled on her cookie and he seemed to take a bite and enjoy the cookie, at least he didn't seem to hate it anyway Though the small sound was a bit funny to her, not that she laughed, but she did do that gentle little neutral huff that was her only real expression. The comment about her making the cookies was answered with a nod as she popped the edge of the cookie she was nibbling on out of her mouth.

"Yes We made these cookies, we try to cook things for ourselves when we can, it's cheaper, and we can make them how we like them, and they always seem to taste better then store bought because we can control what goes into it. It also means Nola knows that most of what is in it won't affect people with allergies" she explained as she returned to nibbling on the edge of her cookie and then she thought of a question to ask the visitor, so she popped the edge of the cookie out of her mouth once more to speak.

"So what was the reason for you to come to Sorority hall? She has not seen you around here before and we are here every day working on things and practicing" she tilted her head as she resumed nibbling on the cookie, her face as expressionless as always, and her voice coming out in that monotone as she fixed her unblinking gaze at him waiting for the answer

Well, a good business sense is to sell these all on your own. Did you know that a little girl is making a fortune by selling her grandmother's recipe for lemonade at Whole foods? It's the same concept in a way. You only need to apply yourself i would definitely buy your cookies since they seem more organic than others. " Gabe was being a little bit energetic at the fact that these cookies were good enough to be sold at a market. He hoped that she wouldn't take it to any sort of offense. "Why am i here? It's funny, it's my senior year and i have yet to join a sorority or any club of the sort. I was pretty much stretching my legs and checking out what they had to offer. Though, i only seem to be good at one thing.

She tilted her head as the man talked about selling her cookies and she thought about it for a moment as she nibbled on the edge of the cookie she had for herself. As she thought about it several things went through her mind and it changed the allure of the Idea, not that she really needed to sell the cookies to have money, and besides she had a lot of things that brought in some income, so she didn't really need that, though it would be good for publicity, in the end though, just sharing the cookies for free would be better for everyone if they were as good as Gabe had said.

Going back to what he was talking about now she listened politely as he mentioned he hadn't joined a club at all despite it being his third and last year, well she assumed last year, unless his grades were so bad that he was forced to repeat, but she doubted they were if he was now looking for a club to join, he may just be deciding to try something new since he would be graduating at the end of this term, The Vague mention of only being good at one thing made her tilt her head in curiosity.

Popping the cookie from her mouth she asked him her question now, or rather she answered his comment about selling the cookies first, "We don't require the money from selling the cookies....besides, We do not think we alone could make enough cookies to supply such an endeavor, and if we were to automate the process then the cookies wouldn't be the same, and that also applies to if we sold the recipe..." Now she ased her question regarding his statement "And what is it that you think is the only thing you are good at?" she asked politely but in her monotone and expressionless gaze, as she popped the edge of the cookie back into her mouth and resumed her nibbling on it.

Hmm, how admirable! I like it, doing things for the sake of the people instead of using it as a profit to further fund yourself, even if it seems reasonable. Did you know that the internet was given away for free from the guy who invented it? Something as a wonderful gift of man, given away, just like that for the sake of it all, the true pillars of society is built by those of strong hearts..." Gabe would say with a smile. "Hearts like yours...." Though, he would wonder what to say when the girl asked him what he could be good at. "Ahh, well.." Gabe would flip his wrist and a playing card would appear in his hand. " Something of the sort like this, playing cards is my speciality. A trick to either make you smile or keep you entertained. When we are in a more desirable environment, I'll show you a trick. "

Trinity listened to the man and she agreed with him, giving things just to make people happy was always a good thing, she didn't know about the internet thing but now she did and she nodded to his comment about people like that being pillars, but when he said hearts like hers she wasn't sure she was one of those people, the only thing she really gave people was cookies, she tried her best to make sure her concerts could be attended by the largest amount of people but sadly money was still a needed thing and she had to charge for the tickets, without that her and her parents wouldn't have a place to live and the like, but she was glad they didn't have an extravagant life style, her parents were being smart with the money they did get and making sure it would last as long as possible.

Back to the matter at hand though she looked up at the man once more as he mentioned what he was good at and she tilted her head a bit "Illusions?...there is no Magic club that We are aware of...however Nola believes that would fall under the performance arts which would be welcomed here in the Arts club, so you would have a nice place to practice and the club could get you some of the things you need to practice your art...if you wish We can sign you up" Her voice was as monotone as it always was, and her face totally expressionless, but she meant every word.

Here was an opportunity to help the man, he seemed to want to find a place he could be with others, or at least seemed semi interested with the Idea, and he had a Hobby that he was good at. The hobby fit in nicely with the art club as well so he would be able to get some of the things he would need for practice through the club and he would be able to improve faster, it's what she was trying to do with her sculpting after all, though since she really wasn't that good at the moment she was only making the little modeling clay things rather then asking for anything specific.

"Lets not get too hasty now... "Gabe would say as he put his hands in a time out motion. "I'm still browsing to be honest with you. But eventually, when i'm ready, i'll take you up on your offer. The reason why i dont want to commit as of right not is because there are a few things i have to take care of first in terms of my work schedule. I wont have any time for a club if i go to work soon after i'm finished with classes. " Gabe just wanted to be sure. "Though, one more question... and i promise its the last one and i'll be out of your hair. How do you think that sculpture youre working on will turn out in the end?

Nodding to his request to slow down Trinity simply sat there nibbling on the edge of her cookie, and she listened to his reasoning, it was sound reasoning, if he overflowed his schedule he would end up being stressed and unable to even enjoy his own hobby, something that She didn't want happening. In the end though he said he may take her up on the offer, she was glad to hear that, but if he did find a club that catered more to something he wanted to do, she wouldn't hold it against him, her offer was a courtesy as she had assumed he had come in after looking around, now that she knew that wasn't the case she was okay with letting him look about the place first.

Though when he asked her about the sculpture she looked at all her attempts, slowly studying them, her expressionless gaze seeming to examine every detail of them as she moved from one to the other, each one had some little improvement on it that the other didn't, but it was the same for all of them, for each improvement she made she seemed to fail at other places where she had improved before, but that didn't really phase her, eventually she would gain more skill through out and that was her end goal. As to the question posted by the man she tilted her head as she turned back to look at him, her unblinking expressionless gaze locking onto him once more.

She then popped the cookies edge out of her mouth to speak "It's supposed to be a little man...Myrna keeps seeing one in her mind when she tries to imagine things to make, so she decided to try and make it, However she is not a sculptor, and so she is lacking the skills needed to properly make it, this is why you see so many different ones as she works to make the thing in her mind" she explained as she reached into her back and offered a juice box to him and another cookie "For your journey" she commented as she held them out to him, her voice as monotone as always.
