| "I was like, on my way across town to go get something..." Frog answered rather unwillingly, and that unwillingness could be seen in the way he diverted his eyes. They were done picking up the cards and the only thing he could focus on now that wasn't the magician's face was the deck he was currently handling in his dextrous hands. "Well, my dog's a big great dane, and like, he's the first dog we've had so I can't really give any tips on pets..." Remembering all the deceased fishes and Fiki the turtle made him cringe. The Zanders were dfinitely not good at handling pets. Titus was their only success. A success being a pet that managed to survive in the harsh environment imposed upon it in their frantically odd family.
And then the guy had to start preaching about this place. Hah, well, as much as it did intrigue Frog to a certain level... He was sure all the thoughts about perhaps visiting the place again to check it out were going to go numb by the time he got home and went on to play his games and wait for the evening to come. Well anyways, this gave way to a momentary lapse of witheldment and brought forth a question out of Frog. "Like you, right?" | |

| No, well... yes and no.. i don't necessarily have to do this anymore. " Gabe would say as he put the cards away and started to pack up his table and whatnot. "I work at a place that gives me plenty of money, and the position itself is quite important and holds alot of meaning. However, when it comes to making people smile and the like, its something that i can dedicate myself to wholeheartedly. " Gabe would say with a genuine smile. "So, what not stranger? Heading off to your next destination? I remember telling your fortune before, it might seem like nothing, but still pay a little heed to it. Gabe was just giving a little bit of advice if anything. | |

| So this guy had an actual well-paid job..? What the hell was wrong with the world? See, that's exactly why the system was broken and he hated it, hah-! Sure, no problems with this guy having a good job he liked as some entertainer or whatnot, but like, yeah problems! Well, either way, as much as Frog wanted to spit all over that very notion, he knew he'd find no words to properly do it and he'd just end up embarassing himself. Besides, this guy was at least polite. Wait... He didn't actually mention having a well-paid job as an entertainer... So like, maybe he was some eccentric businessman or something. That'd be even funnier, though, haha!
On the topic of fortune telling... Frog was quite exctied. Or well, would've been excited had his fortune actually been told and not this guy just looking at a card as part of the show and spouting some generic crap about obstacles. Still, Frog decided to keep it in the back of his head. Just in case. This was his first, after all...
"Oh, right, yeah, I should be going." Frog stuttered on his feet as he actually realized he was on his way to buy bread for his moooooom. He answered the man's smile with a smile of his own. Not as warm and genuine, most likely, but polite, yes. As a means of saying thanks for the guy not doing anything Frog disliked in street performers, like, for example, being disgusting and smelly and crap. Oh, and for helping him out of that awkward situation, yep. "Haha, I'll keep that in mind and like, handle all the obstacles and prove my strenght." In a way, he was going to do that that night. Probably. And learn more, enjoy more, and become more.
With that, Frog waved goodbye to the man and the unfortunate turn of events with the trick that ended up being corrected. Next time, if they ever met again, he'd ask for a trick that didn't involve cards. The only remainder he left to the man was a 5 dollar bill on his little stall. Because why not. Not-disgustingness should be encouraged. If anything, he was doing the city a favor by propagating the undisgusting performers in favour of demolishing the footing of those disease-ridden smelly hobos that sold all sorts of stinky trinkets all over the streets. And Frog felt nice about that. Hah-!
/May we meet or not meet again, stall-man! It's all in the cards./
