Time really passes by quickly. Maria was just glad she was able to find some place to store her coffin for the day. Her body felt really light without that thing sticking onto her, but not only that, she felt almost like a normal person now. There won't be a Jack calling her a "Vampirella" or some "Reverse Vampire". Those were a thing? It's funny what the entertainment industry can come up with.

Lunch finally set in. The girl roamed around for a nice place to set up her meal. In her hand was a simple brown paper bag that most people carry around. Her meal was a simple course of a water bottle and a sandwich consisting of thick ham, egg, julienne green onions, and a dab of sriracha-mayo. It would be great to finally tuck in, but she needed a place to finally sit in.

Eventually she found suitable shade from a tree surrounded by the tufts of green that made it a good place to finally settle down on. As she did, Maria would begin to unpack her meal.

The pubescent fighter whispered—reciting the lyrics to the song booming in his ears from the wireless headphones completely drowning out the outside world. It was lunch hour, a time for students and professors alike to put some much needed food and drink in their belly to fuel their brain so both children and adults alike can continue to give and take information. In wrapped grip clutched a protein smoothie, strawberry and pineapple flavored. Jack needed to watch his calorie intake for the next six weeks to ensure he'd qualify for his desired weight class when it came to the ring—a pseudo fast, if you will.

Dead ahead eyes of silver leveled on a group of students waving at the rapping youth. Again, unaware of his surroundings, he gestured towards the group with a snaggletooth smile, head bob, and a welcoming wave of his own. During all this he continued to walk forward—completely oblivious to the obstacle ahead of him. Whatever it was caught his leg mid step and caused the teenager to tumble forward, smoothie still intact despite the rather nasty looking fall. "Sunnova' bitch!" He roared with hostility, slowing picking himself up and dusting himself off. Off to the side resided an unsuspecting female enjoying what looked like to be a sandwich. Jack lowered his headphones until they were around his neck as he locked his hazel gaze upon the female. "Sorry about that-..." He stopped mid-sentence, realizing he didn't know her name, but still took note of the blueness sprouting from her scalp. "Blue..." He continued, bestowing a type of pet-name on the person he didn't even know.

For once, Gabe wasn't dressed like a used car salesman. He had classes today, which made it more than likely for him to be wearing school clothing, or at least something as comfortable. Though, it was lunch time, which made it one of the more vicious cycles of the day. There was an insane crowd earlier of people who wanted to get some yakisoba bread, and Gabe managed to get the last one. "Phew, thats definitely a good sign. " Gabe was happy to see that this day was off to a good start, he wanted to actually eat outside and enjoy the weather this time around.

While trying to look for an ideal spot and happily tossing up his bread up and down in lieu of retrieving one, Gabe managed to slip up. And drop it ahead of him. "Oh..good thing its in the wrapper!" Then suddenly, splat, some guy managed to land on it, and end up apologizing to a blue haired woman instead of. " Noo!! My Yakisoba bread!" It was as flat as a pancake now, with cole's trademark ass print. WAs he supposed to eat this now.

"....." Gabe groaned and started sniffling a few times. He tried to be a gentleman sometimes, but the standard was hard to live by all the time.

Maria was just about to enjoy her clearly unhealthy lunch. But the sudden roar caused her to flinch and look back up to its origin. It was a boy, a rather cute-looking one. He seemed to have fallen over, yet his meal of a shake was thankfully safe. Though why mention "blue"?

She began to ask with concern, "Um... are you alri--?"

Maria finally noticed the mushed bread at the boy's feet and another boy feeling utter despair at the destruction of his meal. This was certainly an unfortunate chain of events. The girl patted at the grass near her as she spoke to Gabe, "Would you like some of my sandwich instead?"

At least he'd have something to eat. She looked back at the other boy and nodded, extending the offer to him as well if he really wished. Maria did have a lot packed, but she was a growing girl. Not like she was getting fat... right?
