| There's only one thing worse than being sent out to buy bread, and it was being sent out to buy bread to a distant friggin' bakery, because your dear mother wants exactly that particular bread because she heard from someone at work (what does she even do for a living anyways!?!?) that it was great, mate.
Frog found himself in exactly that predicament on this exact afternoon, at this exact moment in time as well. Because why the hell not, right? Anyways, he really didn't feel like doing this, so he was instead taking the long way around to the bakery, apparently located somewhere in the Little Tokyo, and now found himself at Vista Square. Having already found his key in his bed, which was now resting in his pocket, all blue and shiny, he also thought he could maybe find the door or something. And he did, but when he did... He just couldn't bring himself to open it. Stupid him, right? Like, he probably could've found out new things if he just went inside, but he couldn't bring himself to do it alone. Call him afraid, okay... Because he was. Afraid as all hell.
So instead of dwelling on it, he unwillingly moved on and was now in the busiest part of the city. It was the busiest, wasn't it? It really looked like someone pooped out all these people. Like they were all like pieces of shit throw about in someone's garden, stinking and disgusting. What even brought him here in the first place? Perhaps he thought he could meet someone... Like Brit or Liam, if he went to a busy and crowded place. He was wrong, as always. No friendship for him. So whatever now... He was just going to pass through this part of town and move on to Little stinky Tokyo. Not a problem. | |

| Maybe it was the wisest thing to do a little bit of grocery shopping today. Gabefigured that his fridge was looking pretty empty and it has actually been a while since he went grocery shopping. He didn't need much of anything since he was mostly shopping for himself. The beauty of being a single male in this city, there wasn't much of responsibilities that he had to care for other than his own. But he had to do that after he was finished with his small performace for the day. "Hmm.." Shuffling his cards in an outside small stall, Gabe would see an individual that was a little bit away from him. "Hey, you seem to be a little blue. How about a small trick to cheer you up? Just a dollar a trick" Gabe would say, wondering if the person would come closer or not. | |

| Walking around was good. The fresh air always seemed to cleanse Frog's body and mind alike, helping him get all of his metaphorical juices running again. He could always relax in the silence and lonesomeness, alienated from the rest of the people in the current, walking down the roads not taking note of one another. As if they were ghosts.
Except....this was Vista Square. Stinking, lousy, Vista Square. Probably the only thing worse than Vista Square was Suzie Q, but Vista Square was pretty bad regardless. No fresh air, no relaxation, no nothing! Okay, he was pretty alienated from the rest of the crowd, but 1 out of 3 is nothing to brag about! So Frog was getting pretty distraught walking there. Slowly but surely, he was getting very, very distraught. Until he heard a voice ring to his ear and turned in its direction. Apparently, at some stall, stood some guy, who seemed to be doing some trick, and was gonna wanna show this trick to him, apparently. Or maybe he wasn't calling him. Hopefully, he wasn't calling him. Still, Frog kept his eyes locked with the man's, and would keep them that way for a couple of seconds, like some sick staring contest, without saying a word, as if waiting for the guy to either confirm or disregard his suspicions. In any other situation he'd probably have left already. But this guy didn't just call out to him, he seemed to prod at him saying how he could see he was down. When he wasn't down. Cleeeearly. | |

| "Yes you, with the charmingly flamboyant attire!" How else was gave suppose to describe the kid. Did he have glasses on like him? Well if he did, there was a plus since it was a little similar to what Gabe wore. But it was more or less his reading glasses and not much description based. Either way, hopefully the young man would come on by as Gabe would continue to shuffle his deck. "I'm telling you, you are in for a treat. Whatever you are feeling will be gone in an instant, replaced with awe and wonder. That much is a promise to you, as i am your humble..neighborhood magician. "Magician, trickster......hpobbist, it was all the same thing in the end right? " So what do you think? Interested?" | |

| "Huh-?" Charmingly flamboyant attire... Sure, okay, he was wearing his teal shirt over his orange shirt and had like, what, neon green pants on him, but- No, wait, that was a charmingly flamboyant attire. And yes, a pair of glasses charmingly adorned his charming face as well, like the stall-man's. But really now, all of Frog's fears have suddenly been realized as he was definitely being called out by this man to see some trick. For a dollar. Unwillingly, Frog kept his stare up as some new cogs began turning inside of him...
He kind of did want to do this. Like, this was probably the first and only time he was being called out to witness or be a part of some kind of show, be it just a trick, and honestly, he was a bit happy about that. Sure, he was also being shy about it, what with all the people in the street, but he did want to approach. And, after a short, but fierce, internal debate, Frog opted to actually walk to the stall. "S-sure, I suppose I could stop for a trick or something..." He said, voice wavering as he now avoided direct eye contact. Now that he was invested... He didn't want to appear as, I dunno, not nice. And besides, he was now all flustered head over heels. Because he had been called out, not because the guy was hot. Frog only judged, be it only subconciously, guys that he subconciously recognized as his types. This guy was not, so he was receiving neutral treatment.
"A dollar, right..?" | |

| So he decided to play, that was good. That was very good. "Good.... lets see what i'm in the mood of showing you.... oh, and you can pay me after i show you the trick if that's too much of a hassle. " Even if he didnt get paid in the end. "show must go on... Ok...." Now was time for the trick to begin. " Here is what i want you to do. "Gabe would say as he handed the deck that he had in his hand over to the male. " I would like you to shuffle the deck. After that, i would want to you to eal out the deck in two piles and choose one. " Gabe would say with a smile. "When you choose a pile, make sure you remember the bottom card alright? And make sure that you show your bottom card to everyone but me. "
Gabe was saying as theyre was just a little bit of people who seemed interested in what was going on. In a way, Gabe was having them all participate and be apart of the show. "After you do, o place the pile containing the bottom card on top of the other pile, and deal the deck into four piles from left to right. "Gabe would say in an amusing sense as he waited. | |

| Frog wasn't very profficient with cards. The best he could do with a deck in hand was crudely and awkwardly shuffle it, and even that was questionably successful. So when the stall-man mentioned cards, it was natural that Frog would cringe inside at the very thought of having to do this in front of all the people. "Okay." He'd try to sound as sure as he could be as he took the deck from the stall-man's hand.
So, now he had to actually shuffle it... Concentrating as much as he could, Frog focused on the cards in his hands, starting to tremble a bit, fairly unnoticably. Their slippery surfaces shot jolts of fear into his very bones and, for a moment, he could only look at them. Faced with the guy's expectations for the trick, though, Frog would have no choice but to slowly take hold of half the card with his left hand and start pushing them into the other pile in his other hand, so as to shuffle them.
But it wasn't gonna be that easy, of course. That wouldn't be fun and interesting, now would it? And so, as Frog did try to shuffle the deck, something would go wrong. Terribly wrong. Well, not terribly like really bad, but yes, terribly for him. Because... You know... He was in the middle of the street and, well... Having the deck of cards you're trying to simply shuffle slip between your finger's grasp and explode straight into your face, isn't really enjoyable. Frog would just stand still for a moment, cards on the floor around him making a sort of circle. "..." | |

| So this was an unexpected turn of events, but it was a good thing that the deck of cards that Gabe was actually using was his soul bound this time around. If that wasn't the case, Gabe would of been in a pretty difficult spot in saving the trick. Though this could definitely work to his favor. Gabe knew which card it was, even though he didn't see it , it was his soul bound after all, paired with the fact that card tricks was basically his life. "Oh?!" Gabe would say as the cards seemed to form a circle around the young man. "Hmm.. ever heard the saying, play where it lands? Looks like my lovely assistant has managed to find himself in a tight spot. Surrounded by a circle of many, but only one can be the right one. " Gabe would walk outside of the circle, basically around frogger and the cards themselves. "i think it's that one. "Gabe would say pointing to a card that was counter clockwise from the man's left foot. "Now, dear assistant, pick up that card and show it to the crowd. " It was clearly an accident to them, probably someone he didnt even know. But from how Gabe made it look, it could of been all apart of his plan. Did he guess it right? But in the off chance that he was wrong if ever the case , he could change them anyway. - Spoiler:
—Strength Name: House of Cards —Description: Because of Gabe's upbringing and the need to do things with his hands, the one thing that he always liked to do and seemed to master was card tricks. He's quite advanced and seems to pull them out of anywhere, as well as be accustomed to some sort of unique style involving his tricks and soul bound.
Weapon Name: 52 Pickup Weapon Description: A deck of playing cards that Gabe fights with at his disposal. The soulbound element allows Gabe to give the cards more mass, allowing them to have impressive feats to be used as weapons. Combined with his tricks and the ability to call back the soulbound cards to the deck, it becomes very versatile. The dimensions follow regular poker playing cards 2.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall

| Frog glanced around at the cards around him. They cornered him. No, completely entrapped him... How did he manage to scatter them so... well, circley, even? And not only that, but he was barely given any time to think his situation through, as the stall-man seemed to move on with the act as if this were all a part of it. This confused Frog, very much, especially since people seemed to play along. So, anyways... "..." Frog raised his eyes to look at the man preying on him, expecting him to pick up the card. He could see it by his foot. A looming presence, that card was. But alas, Frog couldn't move from the cards around him and there was only one way out left-to comply.
"..." Frog was silent as he kneeled to pick the card up. As he brought it to his view, he couldn't believe it, really. It really was his card.
Whatever this guy's business was, he somehow managed to guess the card after they'd been scattered around full randomly all over the goddamn sidewalk. He's made the distasterous, sweat-inducing slip up into a marvelous trick. But like, how? Frog looked at the man again, holding the card. "It's the card." He said, raising it in his hand and showing it to the small crowd around and they'd be able to see the same card that he'd chosen earlier.- The Card:
Hearts - 1 Diamonds - 2 Clubs - 3 Spades - 4 ---------------- - Random number (1,4) :
- 3
----------------
1-13 in order (1 being 1 and 13 being King) ----------------
- Random number (1,13) :
- 2

| "The two of clubs!!! And with this card that you picked, i can also tell your fortune with it. "Gabe would say, adding a little bonus trick just to be a good sport to the guy who seemed a bit skittishon the shuffling, but participated nevertheless. " The two of clubs! Obstacles to success; malicious gossip. It doesn't matter what it is, whatever seems to be in your way that you face in life. But the true mettle of your potential is how you bare through it! , because... human potential is limitless. " After Gabe bowed, there was a loud clap and Gabe tipped his hat, in which dollars were thrown in there as well. "Thank you. "After the crowd dispersed, Gabe started to pick up the cards." You did pretty well.....thanks for playing along. Were you nervous?" | |

| Frog just stood in place, blinking with a blank face of a broken man and turning around to show the card to everyone around, while the... Was he a magician? Calling him a stall-man was getting old already. Anyways, while the magician was busy telling him his fortune from the card, saying something about human potential and all that. Ahahah, if only he knew! It might've been only yesterday, but Frog has had a taste of human potential, finally. But just a taste. Real fun was only coming...
Though... He couldn't shake the feeling this fortune had to do something with the fact he totally messed up the trick and had all the cards scattered around. Like that was one of the obstacles... Geez. It was corny, but he couldn't dismiss it anyways...
And the crowd was buying it. Frog gave them a wide-eyed look as they all began clapping to the man, bowing to him as he bowed to them. Only their bow was a real bow, granting the man control, while the man's bow was merely an act. Or so it appeared to Frog. Regardless, he'd sigh and hear the guy talking to him. The young man looked down at the magician. "Yeah right, I totally blew it, hah..." He said, giving a somewhat bitter smile with one eyebrow raised. "And you probably can guess the answer to that-yes, I was. This is like-" Frog stopped himself mid-sentence. No, he wasn't gonna tell the guy this was the first time he was a part of some trick. No way. So he just shook his head. "No matter. Lemme help you."
If the man allowed it, Frog would kneel down and start helping to pick all the cards up. He was sort of feeling bad and responsible because he made the mess. | |

| "No, as a matter of fact...this showed just how adaptable that you are in terms of a tough and unexpected situation. Most people would just implode on the fact that they have been embarrassed on the main stage, which stops their brains from working by foregoing any way out. That my friend is a self induced trap of the mind. " Gabe would say as he pointed at his head. "So you have a strong mind then." He continued picking up the cards and nodded his head. "This would of been insanely faster if he just called them all back, but the sense of them being believable was what he had to do for the moment. "Thanks, that's quite kind of you. Though,i've been doing tricks in these streets for a while, i don't think i ever see you around before." You might not get to know a person, but a face can become a norm. And if you dress like this guy did, you can be picked out of a crowd. | |

| Being smart now, eh... Seriously, Frog could've handled this without the magician's words of wisdom. It just made him cringe inside, but he smiled on the outside. "Haha, I suppose. Though it did feel like I totally froze up." Even though he didn't actually freeze up, it sure did feel that way for a moment. Like, he could barely move around to show the card to the crowd around, and he probably wouldn't have had been able to do it if it weren't for the guy telling him to and going through with his trick despite him blewing it. What really confused Frog though, was how calmly the man was taking the situation. Frog himself would've probably started shouting around in a tantrum if something like this happened if he was a magician doing a trick.
Frog helped the man pick the cards up and the conversation continued. "I don't really come here that often. It really isn't on my route from home to school or well, anywhere I tend to go." Though the two places he mentioned were pretty much his whole world, gah. He really only went there on his own, only going to other places when he was feeling adventurous walking his dog. He must've passed Vista Square a couple of times like that too, if only to show off his big dog, but that was rare-the crowd made him too uncomfortable. And he never wore his good clothes when walking the dog. "I mean, I'm sure I've walked my dog around here a couple of times in the last few years, but that's about it. You would've missed me in the crowd even if you were here at the same time, probably." | |

| Then why are you here?" Gabe would say as he takes all of the cards back and starts shuffling. He did it in a little flashing sense as well in order to keep up the pace of the conversation, making it a little more interesting and entertaining for the lad. Even so, entertaining seems to be a little more of a chain reaction for the lad. What else had meaning and brought about smiles for people all worldwide?"Oh a dog, kind of reminds me, makes me want to get a pet of my own. "Though, he didn't think he had alot of time when it came to having a pet, maybe something that took care of itself? " Gabe then put the cards away and put his hands in his pocket. "You know, this place might seem seedy but it's not so bad. There are plenty of redeeming factors, some people trying to make a living showing off their talents as well. | |
