| Subject: The Princess and the Pauper [Morning Event :: Closed] Sat Jun 18, 2016 12:29 pm | |

The Cipher Cafe was usually bustling throughout the day. However, for a small portion of the day, it seemed to be closed for some sort of private event. Guards watched the entrance of the building. They seemed to be some spare cadets that were usually found at the outer rim of the city. Though the general public was turned away, they did allow one young man to enter the cafe. When he made his way to the main seating area, he was greeted by the royal Princess.
"I hope you don't mind me calling you here on such short notice." Serenity gave a delicate smile to the young man who entered and took a seat before her. Before them was a a number of tea leaves, and a small pot of hot water. The Princess would be polite and place a number of tea leaves in his cup before standing and pouring the water in aswell. She'd retake her seat across from him and take her own cup in her hands to feel the warmth.
"This morning we found a body located in Sunlake Palms. We've kept this under wraps, because of the particular condition of the body in question." Serenity removed a number of pictures from her bag and began to spread them upon the table before them. The violet haired young man examined each picture with narrowed eyes. "That body... telling from the attire, it's a cadet. Their entire scalp was removed, and their brain is completely missing. From the data gathered, the body belongs to a female adult. However, searching through the records, I was unable to find any missing cadets that fit the description. I can't pinpoint who this person is, as their face and fingers have also been terribly disfigured and ruined. We're running blood work at the moment to see if we can get a match with someone in our database, but I'm hoping in the meantime you could do some ground work."
The young man took a sip from his cup as he continued to examine the photos without flinching. "Why would someone want the brain of a cadet? I remember a year ago, we saw a case like this before. We called the case "The Missing Skelter". Though your brother brought that man to justice. It appears someone is taking up after him and attempting to accomplish the same goals. If the brain is the building block to a Psyche Terrorist's abilities, then would the Cadet's be in the same boat....?" The young man placed his cup down as he was in thought. Serenity watched him with glowing violet hues and a questioning gaze. While her brother currently dealt with the new recruits and held the leadership responsibilities of Class Zero, she was more focused on the technical side of it. Anything she could do or create to assist them was her overall agenda. Looking into this for Julius wasn't normal, but she didn't want the new recruits to know about this as of yet. Not until more information was found. That's why she had called this meeting with their family's personal investigator.
His name was Viktor. He had come from a family that had a.. particular trade of taking things that didn't belong to them.. but went the opposite path and decided to work for the Government to catch criminals, not become one. Something his family wasn't very happy about. The young man usually worked out of the correctional facility, but on rare occasions he could be seen in the day if personally called upon by the Royal Family. This was one of those specific occasions. He understood that this case was to be under wraps, so he'd have to work discreetly to solve who this body belonged too, and why their brain was removed.
Serenity gave a smile and stood from her seat. "Thank you for your services, Viktor. I do hope you can join my family and I for the royal dance coming in a few days. If you hear anything new, you have my cellphone. Once I get the information back on the blood work, I'll give you a call aswell." The woman smiled and made her exit. In only a number of seconds you could hear numerous car doors closing and a vehicle speeding off. The violet haired young man remained in his seat as his eyes glossed over the pictures.
"This would be alot easier if I had abilities of my own. But I guess we can't all accept the Queen's blood and be granted that power. Even if it runs in your entire family..." The Sun fell slowly, and the morning came to an end... It was now to be the Afternoon. | |
