Today was the opening ceremony for the Seven Stars Academy. The Academy was a Government funded facility that took in those from Endymion City that wished to work with the government in the future, and helped place them in a role suitable with their talents. It took people of all ages and treated them all equally. Anyone had a chance of making it big if they were talented and caught enough attention by the right people. Those arriving would be directed towards the large gym of the school building. The opening ceremony started with words from the Headmaster. He welcomed those who had come to the Academy to further their learning and work towards a position within the Government that saved the city after troubling events. He was a modest man, and he knew most there were looking to see the Queen's speech. The Headmaster decided he would not break the news, and instead stepped aside for Julius to take the stand.
The young man was currently sitting with his fellow students in the crowd. By his side was his sisters, Serenity and Lisa, who were curious to see if their Mother was going to show aswell. Though they saw their mother frequently, she seemed to become more reclusive than she had been years before. Julius had made strides to make sure there was nothing their Mother had to be worried about when it came to the city. With his efforts, she had her own personal military force in the form of the cadets the protected the public at night from demonic and dangerous threats. However, he was not the only protector for the Queen. If one were to look just a few seats down from his own, they would see a well clad woman with vibrant blue hair and a chilling aura. She seemed to stand the moment Julius did, and thus would accompany him to the stage where the Headmaster had been waiting.
"To start, I'd like to thank Mr. Hughes for his welcoming speech. I also am honored that so many would look to work with our Government in securing a better future for Endymion. My Mother met Mr. Hughes just a year after the Eternal Divide. One would say he had loss everything, but I'm proud to say he has become a role model through the deeds he's done to change his life and others for the better." Julius would turn towards the Headmaster and give him a round of applause that the majority of the crowd joined in on. The mysterious woman did nothing, however; almost as if she were waiting for the main subject of this conversation.
"In regards to my Mother, I must apologize as she could not make it today. In her absence, she has sent her personal guard to speak in her stead. Please welcome Ms... ?" Even Julius did not know her name as the woman walked pass him and to the stand to speak to the crowd. He raised a brow and took a step to the side. Though they both had the best interests in protecting their Mother, surprisingly the two hardly spoke at all. They were complete opposites to a certain degree. He chose the humane path to keep the city peaceful, while she went the Warrior's path: slaughter.
"As mentioned before, the Queen will not be joining us this Morning. However, tonight, she does plan to make a visit to these school grounds. We are currently recruiting for more Cadets to add to the force to keep the city streets safe. Those who feel like they have the potential to join such ranks will have the opportunity to prove themselves here, on school grounds, tonight. The ritual to become a cadet has had casualties in the past. However, those who survive may become as powerful as Julius or myself; and be praised by the Queen. Meet at the Class Zero building tonight to take the ritual. You all are dismissed." The woman spoke with a sinister aura permeating the air. Though she was human, it was as if there was a part of her that lacked any such humanity. She would drop the mic on the stand and make her exit from the stage, and soon the building, without any other words. Julius watched the scene with a surprised expression before pinching his chin and giving it thoughts. He had never thought of recruiting anyone here for the Cadet role. His team was already closely knit, but perhaps having more wouldn't be a problem.
He would continue to ponder to himself as the students began to converse amongst themselves. Now, anyone was free to move around and converse with whoever they'd like. As the bold woman had stated, the Opening Ceremony was apparently over now. The current Cadets, who sat off to the side, were socializing with one another. It seemed only one, Alex Tenth, did not agree with newcomers coming into the team to ruin things. Maybe he felt as if his relationship with the others would be in jeopardy with new faces.
Lisa and Serenity walked to the stage to converse with their older brother. Where Serenity didn't really care much for the cadets, Lisa was excited. More so because this was her chance to finally catch up to her older sibling. She had trained hard to be able to see demons like the two others, and even trained harder to keep up with Julius in combat. However, he had a Persona and she did not. That would always put them apart in any sort of contest of strength. But if she were to pass the ritual, then she would be able to fight by his side properly to protect their Mother. This was an opportunity she had been waiting for ever since she was brought into the family after the Eternal Divide took her parents from her.
The Headmaster watched his new student body from the stage. He had taken a seat at a grand piano used for such occasions, and began to play a melody for those who decided to stay and socialize. After all, they had the time. Classes did not start until the Afternoon, considering the Morning was dedicated to the Assembly.

Five years was a lot of time to change a person. To change a city. To change a way of life. The concept applied to all that had passed back then and to those gathered in this building today. While most of the people here were students that attended classes at the academy, the young man that sat slightly off from the crowds was not one. The young man was dressed in an attire that suggested he was perhaps an up and coming business man. Ever hair and button was in place. He seemed like quite the perfectionist, though to ask if that was true or not would take someone bold enough to approach him.
You see, there was more than just choice involved in the slight isolation from the masses that had occurred here. While the young man wasn’t intentionally rude or aggressive, he did give off an icy air that few could handle. On top of this, the young man in question was for the moment not hiding himself, meaning anyone that was in the know as far as pop stars went would recognize him. While he had noticed the stares, whispers, and even some giggles that came from his presence, the young man would pay them no mind as he instead let his eyes scan the school’s gym. This was the first time he had actually stepped into the facility he had only read about here and there. The readings had made this place out to be something grand and now that he was here, he found the descriptions and pictures he saw of the place deceiving. Honestly, no words could really capture how impressive the facility was.
Even so, he wasn’t here for a tour or anything like that. He was actually here to hear the Queen’s speech...and seemed from the turn out so were many others. Once the crowd was big enough, the ceremony would begin. It started with the headmaster’s speech and then from there? Well, it wasn’t the Queen that stood, but rather one of her children and a lady that held a strange air to her. As they approached the stand and the speech began, Haru found himself at first disappointed and then mildly amused about what occurred.
Her Magesty didn’t grace them all with her presence this time around; however, what was left in her absence was quite intriguing. While Haru could guess what sort of power the woman spoke, the young man had to admit he never thought he would actually see a day when an opportunity to rise above the standard would come….even if said opportunity was delivered rather abruptly.
Without much information outside of when to meet, Haru would first look towards the stage where the Prince and his siblings resided and then his mismatched eyes would drift to the current cadets. Hmm…
Haru would eventually get up and head towards the current Cadets themselves. While he heard about them and even seen snippets of what they could do, he never had a chance to ask what exactly it was like to be one of them…and considering what they were being offered was it not logical to attempt to get information to prepare?
Whether it was or not, Haru would approach the group, making sure to keep his distance respectful while still being in speaking range. He would wait for a lull in their talking to speak.
“Pardon me for intruding, but the offer to become a Cadet that was just given, do you know any details on what is supposed to be done outside of simply showing up?” he would ask the question in his usual quiet and calm tones, appearing to be just your average Joe curious in an job offer. Question was would they answer him? He didn’t exactly ignore the negative signals one of the Cadets was giving off. Even so he held his ground calmly enough.
Note:
Haru may be bold, but…
—Weakness Name: Intimidating —Description: No matter how he tries, he cannot hide his face from the world. As a result of being so popular peers his age are usually to nervous or giddy to approach him. Top that with his mature attitude and not just anyone can easily approach him. It makes social life an awkward affair and only adds to the difficulty of bonding with him.
—Weakness Name: Eliminate —Description: (See actual profile for more information on this, but here is the part that counts for this situation.) There is an air about him that make NPCs uncomfortable around him and thus make it a bit harder for him to actually social link with them until they feel they can trust him.

Never before Athena had felt so intimidated by another human than she did with the woman who spoke for the queen. She had a certain aura that warned everyone around her about what would happen if they got on her bad side. Had she not trained to remain still or keep a certain facial expression as a model Athena's knees would surely be shaking during the woman's speech. Despite her fearsome looks she was a messenger of some rather joyful news. If Athena could join the Cadets then her ambitions would slowly begin to become achievable.
The current system of Endymion didn't provide much opportunity to the "commoners". The force of the cadets however wielded a certain amount of influence, after the Eternal Divide the people who wielded the power of persona were viewed a heroes, at least from Athena's point of view. If Greek Mythology had taught her anything important was that heroes could do some pretty shady things and still get praised for their cunning.
Athena's eyes were locked and the royal children who seemed to converse on the stage, she wanted to join their little clique but at her current state it wasn't possible, plus she didn't have the stomach to approach people as important as them. Still public relations were always important and gaining the friendship of a cadet was going to be a good way to kick start her career and find more about that dangerous ritual the woman had spoken of.
As the girl began approaching a group of cadets she was cut off by a rather familiar figure who had rushed to them. Athena recognized the pop idol Faces right away, she wasn't a fan of his but as an aspiring idol herself she had to learn about her possible future co-workers (or rivals). Since she didn't want to intervene Athena simply waited several inches behind Faces, close enough to hear what the cadets would say to him but far enough to join the conversation.

Yusuke's morning had been a rough one, being pulled out of bed earlier than usual, his father constantly nagging him to join class 0 and make him and Yusuke's mother proud... All the teen wanted to do was find his own path, the noodle cart he was able to persuade his father to buy had already payed for it's self twice, and he only got it a month ago!
But, Yusuke was suck listening about the "Queen" and how good she did things, whilst his father didn't get any credit... The "prince" and his bodyguard walked up to the stage and gave a very similar speech to what the teen remembered was spoken last year... that is untill the bodyguard woman got a hold of the microphone.
The hair on the back of Yusuke's neck rose from the sense of dread he got from the words that she spoke ans how she said them... It's like she was having her strings pulled by a puppeteer.
Now don't let Yusuke's thoughts fool you, he's still appreciative of the Queen, since she saved his life, along with giving his father a job as soon as he met her... It's just the constant praise and worship(sometimes literally) That got on the teen's nerves.
"I'm not going to be able to make it tonight unfortunately... I have something I'm supposed to do for a friend, and already I've put it off long enough." Yusuke practiced his excuse where no-one could hear him, secretly terrified at what the queen might do to him...

Ah, school time again. For the most part, Noah came for the opening ceremony out of principle, since these speeches often tended to be fairly boring. What can you say? The start of a school year is usually very similar each and every time. On the other hand, it's not like he was busy in the morning, so might as well come around, right? And for once, he was actually dressed in a more formal wear. If nothing else, at least at an official event. He usually didn't bother all that much, so perhaps he just had an epiphany today.
Regardless of all the little details that were more or less not important at the moment, Noah would take his stand in the gym, as he listened to the headmaster's speech alongside the others that had gathered. For a moment, he was almost nodding off, until things started getting interesting with the two stepping up. The blue haired woman sure had a chilly air about her, and while he took note of that somewhere along the way, he chose to focus on the announcements made for now. Praise the headmaster...hmmm, sure? Guess that's a thing. But then the woman took the stage, talking about the Queen's absence and taking new reqruits, apparently. Huh, that had been a little unexpected. Did that mean they had a lack of forces? Noah found it somewhat interesting that they would scout for members within the academy. Although, truth to be told, it was probably the easiest way to do so, as they had big groups to choose from here.
The entire ceremony was done and over soon afterwards, and he would spend a short while pondering over what was just said before taking a glance around at what the others were doing. Hmm, what to do. A short moment of consideration later, he would make the decision to trail after those that went to attempt talking to the current cadets, as it seemed like the most intriguing option at the given time. He caught that the other male was already asking them a question, so it would probably be unwise to interfere yet. The answer to that was something he'd like to hear himself anyway, so just listening seemed beneficial now. He would however glance at the pink-haired young woman he stood close by to, deciding to at least see why was she here while the guy was busy confronting the cadets ahead of them. ''Hey, you plan on trying to join them...?'', he'd ask towards her, making sure to not be too loud though, since he didn't want to disturb the other convo.

Mmm, it did feel quite nice starting a new season of school. After a small meeting that sent her home for just an hour or two, Shiina was barely able to make it in time for the assembly. Truthfully, she was expecting this big of a crowd, but what she wasn't expecting were her fellow club members, who she exchanged a few words of greetings and some gossip before heading to the gym proper. While she quite easily abhorred the usual kind of gossip that people spoke of, the Tsurinai didn't mind entertaining her friends this time. And so came the time for the student body to gather around and listen to the words of the officials...
...and it'd be those words that left the young woman unable to speak at all. She didn't really have many comments on it overall, but it was... strange that an outsider came to speak in the name of the Queen. At least she was part of the Queen's personal guard so Shiina guessed it was okay..? Still quite weird. Eh, not like she could say much about it.
The Tsurinai stayed alone for quite a while, even after everyone had formed groups among each other. This was due to a lack of trying, though, Shiina didn't care to join any particular predetermined set of students, and even her club members met her refusal when they tried to invite her along. Instead, the silver-haired girl pondered the situation for a few moments, until she noticed the trio at the top of the stage. They were the royal children, yes? She could recognize Julius, at the very least; who wouldn't? And yet... for a moment, Shiina pondered on walking towards them. Her legs even acted on their own briefly, taking a few steps towards the stage, but then stopped short forcefully.
It would be rude to interfere in their talk.
//"Hrm..."// The Tsurinai pinched her chin and looked towards the ground in careful consideration. //"I wonder what the best path would be here..."// She had quite a few options: either go talk to the more experienced cadets, speak with her fellow students, simply leave and go home or, the craziest option, try and approach the Prince and Princesses on her own. //"Nani ga mondai..."// What a problem indeed...

It would seem the current cadets were going to have company, as their own conversation was cut short by someone who had boldly approached them. Alex, being a sort of leader compared to the other two, looked towards the man with narrowed eyes.
"...I hope you're not looking to become a cadet. You're nowhere near qualified, just from your appearance. And no, we do not know more than you do. This is news to us: horrible, disgusting news." He didn't even attempt to mask his tone with a friendly shell. Alex was openly against any new cadets going their ranks. He didn't know who the hell that woman was that spoke for the Queen, nor did he care. He saw her as someone coming into their home and screwing the natural order of things around. There had not been one threat in Endymion City that the four of them could not handle themselves. So why the new recruits? Was it because how different their recent bust was? Were people still so scared of psyche terrorists that they needed even more protection than what they had? Alex rolled his eyes in annoyance as he remained in his set. However, his two fellow cadets stood to properly introduce themselves.
"My name is Claire."
"..And my name is Chris. It's a pleasure."
The two did a polite bow before referencing the question that was asked. They knew not to try and introduce Alex, as he didn't want any part of meeting potential new recruits. He'd more likely want them to fail than succeed.
"As our colleague said before; this is the first time we've heard of this. We're not sure what to bring, considering we already had our abilities before being recruited." Chris pinched his chin, almost mimicking Julius, as he pondered to himself. This allowed Claire to continue the conversation in his stead. She looked him up and down and gave a wink and a grin. "So, you looking to join the cadets? You know if you try, there's no guarantee you won't end up dead. Our job is pretty dangerous. Though, we haven't had a death on the job yet, thanks to Julius." Her eyes glanced over to the three siblings having their conversation up on stage. Through her rehabilitation, she remembered despising the male and wishing him death more than anything. When she was a psyche terrorist herself, they had crossed blades countless times, yet he never struck her down when he had the chance. Perhaps a part of her wanted to be rehabilitated. The burden of being a Terrorist was far more than working for the Government. She couldn't even remember why she rebelled in the first place. That was the same story for Alex and Chris. One moment they wished to burn the Government down, and the next they gave their lives to protect it. It was strange how the world worked.
Speaking of Alex, he didn't seem to want to have anything to do with this conversation. He pushed himself up from his seat and made his way pass the male who had come asking questions. The Cadet wanted to join Julius and his two siblings, but was aware Serenity was there. He couldn't stand being babied by her, so he thought against it. For now, he'd wander the crowd. Sooner or later he was going to decide to leave. Especially since the fun wasn't happening until night like usual.

When Haru approached the Cadets, he was alone; however, by the time he his question had slipped out of his mouth, it appeared that two others had joined. The first was a pink haired girl that seemed familiar for some reason. He wasn’t sure, but her face...he had seen that face somewhere before. Was it a picture that floated by or something else? Hmm. He didn’t know and didn’t bother on digging into the thought fofr now as he found it a bit trivial for the moment. As for the other that had joined…
Mismatched eyes would give the other male a cool glance. He remembered those eyes from five years ago. Huh. To think they would meet again once more at an event of some sort. How amusing; however, it would appear that for the moment he would have to pass on greetings as the male he was getting bad vibes from gave him a rather hostile look before speaking.
Hmph. What a mouth and perhaps on a bad day those words might’ve been trouble; however, despite the words that came out of the other's mouth, Haru managed to remain humble and polite.
“You’re may be right. Perhaps I am not cut out for the job, but then again no one can really tell unless tested first, no?” he said his tone remaining the same despite the disgust thrown at him. “Even so, why is the news so disgusting to hear?” Haru would ask hardly expecting an answer out of that. Honestly, he wouldn’t be surprised if the other snapped at him, but he wanted to know. Even if the news was a surprise, what was wrong with extra hands? Sure, the group currently protecting the city did their job well, but could four keep up with the city and its growth like that? It was a curiosity, Haru did not state as he observed the moody one for a moment before his attention was drawn to the other two that seemed to be more approachable than the first.
To their introductions, Haru easily relaxed as a well practiced smile came to his lips.
“Hatsuharu. The pleasure is mine,” he said returning the bow the other two gave before straightening back up and moving to the side slightly to let the other two that were near join if they wished. “And how about you?” he say to the pair opening a space for them to introduce themselves also if they so wished to.
In any case, his attention would eventually turn to the two cadets once more as he heard them speak. He’d tilt his head at the first set of words heard.
“Hmm...So if you already had powers, then when you were recruited there was no ritual which the lady spoke of?” Haru would ask...and on that note. “Do you know who she was?” he would ask before falling silent to see if Chris or Claire would answer. Whatever came out of that, mismatched eyes would eventually shift to the female as she gave him a grin and wink that caused the young man’s eyebrows to raise slightly in as he gave her a small amused grin. Cute.
“He must be a great leader if he has kept everyone safe so far,” Haru would say his tone respectful as he glanced over to the Prince and his siblings on the stage. He didn’t know the man personally, but from what he heard whispered about the man, he was someone to respect and admire. Maybe one day he would get the chance to see if said whispers could be trusted.
As for that question, the young man would shake his head with a light smile. “The offer is tempting despite the danger and while I did ask my questions, I am not sure if I am cut out for the job; however, I believe I’ll share this turn of events with a friend of mine that unfortunately could not be here this morning for this. Unlike myself, I am sure they would be quite pleased for an opportunity to join the ranks. Though... I wouldn’t mind a bit more insight on what Cadets do myself. I've been quite curious about that for a while now,” Haru would say his words smooth and appearing honest as he watched the other with a friendly eye.
His mood didn’t seem to shift much as the hostile male decided to make his exit from the group. While he watched him go from the corner of his eye his attention would fall back on the friendlier of the pair as his expression became a bit more serious as he gave the pair a look that asked: “What’s his deal?” without any words being said.

The cadets haven't answered Faces when a man approached Athena. Only when she turned to face she recognized him. Noah, the captain of the athletics club. Athena didn't have a strong opinion on him and only knew him through a graduate ,who had served at the athletics club manager the past two years. It made sense that people who did sports would be interested in joining the cadets, after all they've been trained to follow the orders of their couch but also act based on their instincts when the situation demanded it, plus they possessed high endurance and agility than the average student of the academy. Betting on Noah's recruitment was certainly a safe choice.
"Yea, I guess most of the studeds who chose to stay do. Oh, you're Noah Joyd are you not?" Athena asked. "My friend used to be the manager of the athletics club. Are you also interested in joining the Cadets?" A rather pointless yet unavoidable question, Athena doubted if he was even going to answer since the Cadets replied to the man in frond of her seconds after she asked.
The first of the Cadets to speak was clearly the grumpy one. He looked much younger than his partners, in fact Athena wouldn't be surprised if he was the youngest person in the room. He was probably dealing with teen angst or perhaps he tried to come out as aggressive so people wouldn't undermine his authority. Thankfully the other two Cadets proved to be more welcoming even though they revealed that the woman's announcement was something they have just heard, perhaps Grumpy's reaction was justified.
The idol in frond of them was kind enough to give them a chance to join the conversation he had with the cadets, although Athena wanted to eavesdrop a bit longer she had no other choice but to make an introduction. "My name is Athena Griva. I'm a third year and I've been dreaming of joining the cadets for years." The girl replied as a kind smile formed on her lips, admiration and subtly flattery had the potential to open a lot of opportunities and with Grumpy's departure the two other cadets would be easy to charm. She avoided asking questions for the moment, Faces was doing a fine job and if he were to ask something inappropriate then he was going to take the blame shielding her reputation among the cadets.

It has been 5 long, painful and full of therapy for Liam, but the time has been good to him, at least for the outside viewer. As of now, he was a single young boy who had his own house, receiving money every month to buy whatever he wants, and with a nice body and appearance to complete the overall package. Of course older people would know something about what he has suffered after being taken of all his fortune and especially his parents, the boy has had a lot of lows in his life. Entering in this school was not an easy task either, and that was something important to him right now. After all, living was more important and here he would have a better opportunity at that because the government was not as trustworthy as people thought and he was the living example of it. After the speech by the Headmaster, which was more of the same in this ocasions, he was surprised, not by the son of the Queen speaking in his behavior, what seemed to be fairly common nowadays as she became more and more secluded and he himself didn't expect her to come to a school, but by the "guard lady" who spoke in a very omnous note about that Cadet admission. All in all, entering the Cadets would be nice, a total free way to getting what he wanted in the end, and would help into his personal objetives too. Of course not getting attention was not that easy when you have red-hair, a muscular build and 1,80cm, but the boy managed to blend in enough with his new found classmates until he decided to move away a little bit to get some more space to think about everything. He almost bumped into one of the cadets who seemed to be already leaving...? ~Oh, Sorry... I thought the cadets were going to show us something, but maybe I was wrong, huh... I was really looking forward to see what you guys do to protect all of us. ~ Although it had a little tease imbued into his speech, it had the feel of sincere dissapointment for someone who wasn't that perceptive.
Strengths:
—Strength Name:Highly Adaptable —Description:After a long time dealing with people around him expecting his mood to shift or him to act in certain ways, O’Neill has learned how to please a crowd. He can shift his facial expression or his way of saying things to convince the people around him with certain ease. - Gains Expression two times faster. —Strength Name:Ying n’ Yang —Description:Contrary to what you would expect from a Irish descendant to normally be, Liam is very centered and good in judgment tending more to the pacific side. Not swayed easily off his tracks or beliefs, he keeps his moral compass in check and calms those around him with his soft-spoken words and unshaken will. - Hard to scare, calming presence.
Weaknesses :
—Weakness Name:Parent Phobia —Description:Even after five years, the death of his parents affects him deeply and his thoughts are always clouded after the subject is brought up. This could shake an entire conversation and if pressed about details or talking more about what happened on that day, he might refuse to stay any longer in the place he is or talk with the person who question him and instantly leave, even if forcefully. - Not good with past traumas.
—Weakness Name:Yang n’ Ying —Description:His balanced lifestyle and mentality is good in most of the cases, but has its bad sides, like the fact he can’t make very important decisions on his own, mainly when he has to choose between two things. It is most likely that he will try to do both, get frustrated or don’t accomplish any of them and sulk about it for a long time after it. Other than that, he is generally neutral in everything, which could be a problem to some people. - Indecisive, extremely neutral.

So, it will be happening tonight. Her chance to prove to her father she has the skill and ability to become a Cadet like him. Achelle couldn't help but smile at the prospect of impressing the Queen and her Father at the same time.
She adjusted her glasses with a finger as he noticed one of the Cadets aimlessly milling about the assembly room, not really chatting with people but apparently pretending being a busy body to eventually escape. She mused he's probably not one to mill with "common" people who aren't already fellow Cadets. Her father had told her about these types... which naturally made her bee-line right for Alex.
Achelle stepped in front of Alex and made an etiquettely mandated bow, holding the position for a second before straightening to meet the cadet eye to eye.
"Hello." She said simply. "My name's Achelle Walker, you might know my father, Alexesei, he's a fellow Cadet in service to the Government." She said. "I see you seem to be wandering aimlessly about, care to chat?" Achelle asked with a small smile.

The Tsurinai's ears twitched slightly at the hints of conversation close to her. She really couldn't help but overhear interesting little tidbits that pertained to her, as one young man especially seemed to be quite against other cadets entering the fray. If she was anyone else, Shiina may have gone over to drop a few words, but, she ultimately didn't care. Whether he liked it or not, new cadets were going to get accepted nonetheless, so why bother with getting angry?
That said, she did notice him looking towards the royal siblings, a fact that made her raise an eyebrow. Even then, though, someone else directed their words towards him, so this was Shiina's own chance to maybe find something else out. She wasn't counting on it being a lengthy talk at all, but it was possible they might be willing to at least inform her on what the strange woman said.
And so, she simply bid her courage and took another few steps forward, at least until she was close enough for them to be able to listen. Shiina, of course, made sure to come in and announce her presence in a short enough time that she wouldn't seem like an eavesdropper.
//"Ah, e-excuse me?"// The Tsurinai was mostly testing the waters, as she raised her hand and spoke up to see if she could get their attention, if nothing else. //"I'm slightly confused about what was said during the assembly. A-apologies if I'm interrupting something, but could I ask for a little bit of clarification?"// Her stance was formal, as she kept her hands tucked together over her skirt after speaking, yet she was slightly nervous too. Shiina didn't consider herself even near worthy enough to actually speak to the royal family directly, hence why she was attempting to be as careful and respectful as possible, with both her speech and body language.

On second thought, the guy talking with the cadets looked familiar, but Noah was a bit too busy with his current conversation to deal with that for the moment. Huh, she actually knew him? Well, that was a bit of a surprise. Then again, it wasn't impossible. He had a feeling he's seen her before too somewhere, although he wasn't sure about that. Ah well, whatever goes. ''Seems like I won't need introductions then.'', he'd remark before giving a short answer to her return question. ''Maybe.'' It did sound like an interesting opportunity, but was it really that easy? They were probably going to be picky about who they actually accept. Regardless of any speculations, for now he'd focus his attention on the talk going on ahead of them.
It would seem the current cadets had mixed opinions on this announcement. How...odd? The cadets acted on the Queen's orders, right? And the woman who brought in the idea was here on her behalf. So why the hate then? There must have been some solid reason for the Queen wanting to recruit new forces, so it was strange to see one of the cadets just discredit it right away. The guy looked to be young though, so perhaps it was just a display of slight childishness on his part. Surprising news can blow you away...in a way.
His silent musings were interrupted once introductions were exchanged though, and the guy actually tried to pull them into the conversation. Huh? That was sure sudden. His pink-haired companion seemed to take it pretty fast, so he wasn't left with much of an option, was he now? It would be rather awkward to lag behind on his own. ''I'm Noah, it's a pleasure to meet you all.'', he'd say his part, keeping a laid-back composure as the questioning continued. Not wanting to be rude, he wouldn't interrupt, listening until there was a break in the talk as the displeased cadet decided to make an exit. This one really had a problem with the development, it would seem. What would he do if some people actually passed and did become a part of their team? Noah would watch the guy leave, before returning his gaze towards the rest of them. ''If you don't mind me asking...do you guys think there is perhaps some serious reason behind this sudden reqruitement? I find it odd that you weren't at least notified beforehand.'' Maybe it has been a rushed decision due to something...?

Alex had no intentions of answering the person named Hatsuhara's questions as he stormed off. The other two cadets remained and entertained the notion called conversation. They both bowed to Athena and Noah after their introductions and reintroduced themselves. "No, I didn't go through any ritual like that to get my abilities. Infact, the only person who probably did go through any sort of ritual would be Julius." The male cadet responded while looking over to their leader. "And regarding who that woman was, I've never met her personally but I know of her. All you need to know is to stay out of her way, and do NOT get on her bad side. That's just asking for trouble." He spoke as if knowing. Chris had been to many investigations that turned into a slaughter with her involved. Where the cadets looked to bring in terrorists alive, she murdered them without any remorse. There was once a coup d'etat that wished to overthrow the Queen. Needless to say, those involved were eliminated. But it did not stop with them. She went down their bloodline and eliminated their relatives aswell on the notion that they'd continue the rebellious struggle. If Chris ever had to fear a person, it'd most likely be that woman who held no regard for life.
Claire took the spotlight of the next questions, but she figured it wasn't her place to say much on the activity of the cadets outside the public eye. "Julius is a great leader, that much I can say. However, when it comes to how we protect the city, all you need to know is what is seen on the media. I won't go into the details of our job, other than it's our main goal to protect everyone from the terrorists and demons. There's really nothing else to say on that matter."
When it came to Noah's question about why the sudden wish for more security, the two cadets shrugged while looking towards each other. "We don't know any more than you all, I assure you. Even our leader seemed at a loss. Alex is probably upset about the news considering our team is so closely knit. Adding alot of new faces could be a problem, honestly. So I can understand why he's rather grumpy. Especially since it wasn't our call, but the Queen's call instead. Bear with him."
It seemed Alex couldn't even make it to the door before being approached by someone else. This guy had a slight teasing to his tone, commenting how he was hoping the cadets would show him something. Alex wanted to show him something, and it involved his middle finger. But instead, he turned his head away from the guy. "Want to see a show? Go watch TV. Or better yet, put your head between your legs and pretend everything's dandy like the rest. We're not obligated to show you anything, just be happy you're on the list of those needing to be protected."
His tone, once again, was not inviting. He wanted to make another quick escape but was stopped by a person bowing infront of him. He was visibly taken back from this, as he tilted his head in confusion. "Father? I've never met him. He must be one of the cadets patrolling the outer rim of the city... Do I look like the type who likes to stand around and chat?" It was an honest question. What could they possibly chat about that would hold any sort of interest or relevance to him? He figured the only reason they'd want to chat would be to try and get on a cadet's good side for tonight. Pfft, like that'd work with him. Alex crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes. And since she got in the way earlier, the male who made the comment about the cadets showing him crap was still close by two. That fucking blue haired lady was causing nothing but trouble coming in here and changing things around.
When Shiina approached the three royal siblings, their conversation came to a close as Julius looked her way. With his attention, the other two looked over aswell. It would appear this young woman was confused with something during the assembly? Serenity giggled to herself at how timid the girl was acting while Lisa placed a hand on her hip and watched with round eyes.
Julius, on the other hand, would speak up. "What do you need clarification on, Miss?" He spoke with a polite tone to her, even if his status as the Prince did make him unapproachable normally. Though he was polite, Lisa made a comment behind him that was easy to hear.
"Were you sleeping?" Was the question she asked while looking at her. Serenity giggled again before grasping Lisa's cheek and giving it a firm pinch as punishment. Julius gave a kind smile though. "..Don't mind my sisters. What did you need to know?"

Look at that, an unhappy cadet going full brat mode just for playing a little bit with him. That guy had some serious issues right now, probably not so happy with having more Cadets joining the already established group he cherished or some problems at his home or something. The hard words of him really impacted the red-haired at first glance, but it just made him more fascinated into going even further in this conversation with his playful manner, after all there was just one subject who would take him out of his easygoing nature. ~ Oh my, why so grumpy? You're making it hard for me to dislike you like that. Come to the Martial Arts club to spar with me and lose some of that tension you have in ya, eh? ~ He would suggest, with a never leaving smirk and a new found interest in the cadet. He was going to stick around just to provoke he even more and see where would he go with his grumpiness before crossing the line of that so pristine image the ones he was part of decided to preserve as he always new that things aren't always as they seemed, mainly in what was related to the government. He just stuck around to the other conversation as a spectator, having more and more fun with the way he behaved with everyone.
