| Water danced around Kyokudou's bare feet as she sat at the edge of the river. Her clothing was off and to the side, leaving her bare above her waist, but her body was hidden by large stalks of grass that stood from below the water. Her head however was fairly noticeable, but if anyone passed by they seemed to ignore her. She wasn't doing anything special after all; just sitting here after a bath in the river. Where else could you clean up when you didn't have a home? At least she had a bar of soap, though it was worn down after so much time saving and using it that it wasn't going to last. She grabbed the thin wafer-sized soap and broke it in half, tossing it in the rivers and watched it quickly submerge. She remained sitting in the dirt as her body soaked in the heat of the sun, drying her up over time. She grabbed at her hair and ran her hand down it to gauge the length. By the time her hand reached past her shoulders, she was already realizing it was too long to her liking. She reached over to her clothes, and hidden underneath was a knife. She'd grab it, and hold her hair, slowly grating the sharp steel against it, until it was cut off of her. It was crudely done, and left her hair a bit uneven, but regardless it was short enough to where she could live with it; just past her shoulders. She'd put the knife back under the shirt and leaned backwards on her palms.
Some might look at her and be sympathetic, or pity her even that she could live a life like this. Who willingly chose to not have a home and live life on the streets, trying to survive? Perhaps Aya was just the right type of person to like that kind of thing, or maybe she was foolish. Either way, she had grown accustomed to it after being this way for so long. Since the day she left home, it was always like this; without luxury or true contentment. And you know? Aya liked it that way. She couldn't tell someone why she did-not immediately anyway, but it was a life she had grown to appreciate. It did nothing to help shape her attitude really, but she couldn't see herself giving up this way to live anytime soon.

| Little Tokyo was not a district Brittany was too accustomed to visit, which was odd because her impressions from her first incursions were mostly positive. The vibes were different from the more urban centers of Endymion, although Lil' Tokyo itself was not entirely detached from the city environment like some other areas, such as East Eden. It was good; Brittany was mostly a urban girl anyway. Still, sometimes, it comes the feeling of needing to vent and let go of your regular life, to perhaps try a different outlook or a different pace. The need to change. This was a recurring theme in Brittany's mind. Yet, that's an achievement hard to accomplish if you live in the same city and doesn't really have prospections for leaving anytime soon, whether you don't want to or can't. In the end, they're the same thing, results-wise. Perhaps Brittany have already realized that, as her unpretentious steps led her to Little Tokyo... She would never be able to leave Endymion, even if sometimes she could wish to simply leave everything most behind. The Psyche Terrorist from the previous night events did mention the word "freedom" a number of times for it to stick in her mind and develop into whatever that confusion of ideas and thoughts, hypothesis and analysis could mean. The previous talk with her friend Frogerio at school did entice her to pursue the meaning, if only for the heat of the moment. Now, she has cooled off, and in the end, pursuing freedom could translate in little to nothing. What it meant to be free at all?"..." A river was not exactly the place she hoped to reach, but when your mind is absent and your body is on automatic pilot, you can't really complain of where it'll lead you. Not that she would complain, anyway. A river was the closest she had to think of a natural landscape. The beach pictures she saw from her "home", five years before. She has never been to one. She has never seen the sea. A river was a good replacement for it, and for some time, her eyes seemed to be lost at the sight, as lost as her thoughts. Not lost enough to not spot a girl there, just a bit to actually process her presence. Wilson's eyes had seen the girl's image, but it was not until, like, ten seconds of a blank stare that she actually woke up, as if she had been in a trance, and started acting rational for once. " Hey. Heeeeeey!" She yelled, waving to her from a reasonable distance. Should she approach? As in...the girl was half-naked, and she respected people's privacy to a certain extent, even if sometimes her effusive demeanor spoke louder than her notion of personal space. From what Brittany could see...it looked like a young girl? Not really a short kid, but someone easily perceived as a teen. A high school student? A middle school kid? There's no telling, and for now the cheerleader opted to stay where she was, unless allowed to come closer. | |

| She let her eyes flutter for a bit, before she reached into the water nearby to run it over her eyes to keep her up. And of course, in her moment of actual thought, someone actually decided to get her attention. She jolted instinctively in surprise and turned her head towards the source, seeing some red-head waving like an idiot to her. She didn't appear to be dangerous, but this was Kyokudou's one moment of almost zen-like quiet that she rarely got. She wasn't entirely happy for her to be seen; not cause of her lack of clothing, just to be in the vision of someone else annoyed her. She ducked below the grass stalks, and kept her hands on the ground. She didn't think she needed the blade yet; maybe she would just run off, but you could never be too sure.
"Buzz off girl!" Was all she hollered back. She stayed below the grass, her hands flat on the dirt with her chest close to the ground. This left her in a position much like an animal ready to pounce on its next prey. Hopefully that would be it and she'd walk away. She just wanted to chill for a moment without people yapping their mouths, was that so much to ask for? She would have to think of a new place to privately bathe, but did such a place exist? In Endymion, eyes were everywhere; and this was one of the times she didn't need something like that. She probed through whatever holes in the grass there were to try and get a good look at her; which of course was incredibly difficult. She'd have to rely on her other senses to see if the girl was going to do anything else.

| "What...?", Brittany blinked twice, with the clearest expression of confusion in her face. Did she hear it right? The girl has just told her to "buzz off"? How insolent! Brittany was just trying to get her attention because she had a very good reason to do so. And to think she stayed as she were to give the girl the right to her personal space. How ruuuude! But luckily, Brittany was an easygoing person who would manage it very well with her natural good humor. And by "manage it very well", of course she meant going down the river and approach the girl. If she was trying to hide behind a bush, too bad for her, Brittany already spotted the girl and her hideout. Once she was actually considerably close to the girl, she stood there, both hands on her hips almost like a zealous parental figure. "What. Are. You. Doing? Walking around naked in here? What if people catch you here and call the cops? I know it's, like, tempting to take a bath and jump in, but other people might see you naked, you know! And besides..." She glanced to Aya's figure one last time, with a suspicious frown, before her lips would twist themselves into a mischievous smirk that would make it clear she wasn't properly scolding the young lady as much as she was making it didn't seem so serious as it in reality would be. "Just because you have bigger boobs than most, doesn't mean you can, like, show them around! There are guys around, you know?" | |

| And then the worst-case scenario was starting to happen. She could hear her step through the grass and make her way closer. She wasn't liking the sounds getting louder and louder, which made the inner pits of her stomach turn. She had to get her away, or maybe she could run? No, that wouldn't be her at all. She was slowly turning into someone almost territorial of her surroundings. Too many thoughts blasted through her head at once to come up with an actual plan. She took a slight glimpse up at the woman as she started to talk down at her like some counselor, the breast comment made her noticeably clench her teeth and shake her head beneath her hair. What could she do to get her to run off? She'd have to do the first thing that came to her mind.Which in this case was leap from the ground onto Brittany, and tackle her to the ground. Of course it would be a sudden surprise, but she was already in the position to do it, and Brittany was basically right on top of her. Unless the girl had reflexes of a street rat, or perhaps the strength to hold her back, she wouldn't be going anywhere as Aya pushed off the ground like a jumping spider, and grabbed at her shoulders which put her full weight on Brittany. Of course Aya was not the strongest person in the world, but who would expect to be tackled by a half-naked woman in the bushes? She held onto her shoulders and put her effort in trying to hold her down. She examined her face, and made a slight sneer, as though unimpressed. "What did I say? I said buzz off lady. Who told you to get near me? What do you want?!" She said, her eyes still zipping in all directions, trying to catch if the girl was try anything funny. Aya one of her fists enclosed over her shirt in case things had to get a little dirty. It might not have been too obvious to Brittany, but in this position Aya wasn't at her peak. Bathing is where she had her small moments of peace. When it was disturbed, it was like waking up someone prematurely; she just wasn't at her most aggressive or ready to get into rough-housing.- Traits:
—Strength Name: Quick Scrapper —Description: She is pretty quick on her feet and ready to use speed over strength. This lets her use a soulbound twice per post.
—Weakness Name: Frail —Description: Aya prides herself on how quick she tries to be. As such her physical strength is not up to par and could cause her to lose bouts of pure strength.

| Well...now this wasn't exactly what she expected. Actually, it was far from what she expected. The reaction was pretty much feral, like a cornered animal, and Brittany had never dealt with someone with such an odd, to say the least, behavior. As an instinctive reaction, she squealed and that's the most she could process before being assaulted and taken to the ground in one-go. Looking on the bright side, the fall didn't make her head hit on anything too solid that could potentially lead to an injury of any sorts. Looking on the bad side...she was now as dirty as she could be. If Brittany had any plans to attend her photoshoot this afternoon, those plans flew by the nearest window the moment she ventured into talking to this crazy woman on top of her. Looking on the second bad side...people would soon gather, spot her and think the worst. "The worst" not being any implications of lesbian preferences, but "Brittany got involved in a scandal at Little Tokyo", and this can only lead to horrible consequences, even for her popularity at the Academy or job-wise.
...on the other hand, while all of these thoughts could run a rational mind, they didn't even cross Brittany's mind. The only logical reaction upon seeing such a clumsy attempt to sound dangerous was: laugh. "PffffHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!". Having a laughing fit in face of imminent danger could be...well...dangerous, no? Absolutely. But Brittany's occasional lack of common sense knew no boundaries, and sometimes when it's least expected, she'd react in an absurdly humorous way that would leave the spectator...amazed and amused. Perhaps too much, even. "Okay, that was, like, funny and all, but I've dealt with things worse than a girl trying to impress me. Now...can you, you know, get off me? It's so totally uncomfortable down here. What are you trying to do, attract attention? Girl, you need to play your cards right, that's not how you do it. Unless you want me to scream and call the police. I mean, what will people think if they, like, see a naked girl on top of me? Plus, you want me to buzz off, but you're grappling me and not letting me stand up. Like, hello-o?? A little bit of common sense here, please?" With the same smile on her face, she rolled her eyes, ignoring the sneering and threats and all that Aya could do to make Brittany intimidated, meaning the former one's attempts, obviously, were failed. Besides, the girl wouldn't truly beat her...would she?

| It was bad enough she got near her, and now she was laughing when she basically had the girl dead to rights. That pissed her off even more. She used one hand to grab her cheeks. "Shut. Up. I'm not here to fuck around with you." She shook her head, but let go. She started to calm down for a bit, and instead, placed her hands over her stomach and pushed her body off, which surely would have caused Brittany some discomfort if not pain. She wasn't in the right mood to fight right now. Kyokudou just didn't want any of it. She took several steps away from her and picked up her clothes, sliding her weapon in her pocket, but putting on her shirt. She left her hat in her hand and didn't put it on. She went to sit back down, and let her feet sink in the water again. Kyokudou pulled some of the grass stalks and bent them so they would cover her to some degree. There, she got what she wanted, was she happy? Could she run along like any stupid girl could? All this talk about her "attention" and the like meant nothing to her. She was trying to intimidate her; perhaps she was just too dumb of a person to frighten. Either way, she took in air in a deep breathe before smoothly letting it blow out of her mouth. Kyoukudou scrunched her toes together and leaned back with her head on the ground. Maybe if she ran off she could get some shut eye. In fact, her eyes were starting to lower and raise with rapid succession, until they began to close finally. She hadn't fallen completely asleep, but it wouldn't be surprising if she were dreaming in the next half hour. | |

| For the majority of the "intimidating" attitude of Aya, Brittany remained quiet, mainly because with her cheeks pressed she had little space to vocalize something. Not only counting the pain from having her belly under pressure, making the girl release a small groan of pain. That was...a bit too much for her aggressiveness, but Brittany knew better than to chastise her for it. Probably Aya was just stressed or something. As in, that could only be the logical deduction for such behavior. Brittany considered asking her what's behind it; on the other hand, the reception would hardly be positive.
The girl lifted her torso and sat on the ground, still silent. Her hair was a bit messy due to her fall. Actually, it was very messy. She run fingers from both hands not to fix her hairstyle, but to remove some...inconveniences, such as small stones, sticks, leaves and stuff from her strands. All of that without actually saying a word or directing her sight to Aya for a little while, almost as if the previous display of antagonism has hit her. "Geez...I was just worried that people might see you here. You know, this river is not really for people to bath", she'd say after a while, only them turning to Aya. She seemed to not care about anything, save for her personal space. Brittany of course cared little for such things, due to her touchy personality, but this time she was incredibly wary and awkward, even. Perhaps because this is the first time someone reacted so harshly to her actual personality. "...why are you alone?" At this point, she didn't know if making conversation with the girl would do something to alleviate the hostility hovering between both. It wouldn't hurt try, though.

| Kyokudou's eyes fluttered open once more. So what if people didn't normally take a bath here? She wasn't normal, and it's not like she cared what others decided was normal in the first place. "I don't care." She bluntly stated to Brittany as she stayed on the ground unmoving. People didn't bother her, or cause her concern. She never truly understood why people had to care about what others thought based on how they lived. But her life was also on the streets since basically day one. After she left Ueitawa long ago, that was all she knew. Most of her life before then she might as well have forgotten. It meant very little to her if anything. When she asked why she was alone, this time her head moved in her direction, and she gave the girl the best sneer she could while laying down. "Because I like being alone. What's it to you? Why do you have to walk near everyone like they're just gonna say hey? It's not like everyone is gonna warm up to people like that, especially people like you," she said in a matter-of-fact tone. If you came on too strong, of course people would hate that. Kyokudou certainly didn't understand it either. Though she was the type that came on strong herself, she never did it as though she liked the person. But this woman waltzed up expecting it to go swimmingly. Not normally the case, especially for Kyokudou. At the very least, Kyokudou was willing enough to speak to her sure, but the invisible wall that kept the two apart was still practically visible as she spoke; still fighting her with her words instead of her fists. Brittany definitely was a polar opposite to someone like Kyokudou, and it definitely showed here. | |

| "People like you"? Brittany frowned, not sure whether to be confused or offended. Worst case scenario, both, because "people like you" could apply to a lot of things, some she didn't expect Aya to notice or poke a finger so soon through such little interactions. The homeless girl probably didn't mean anything too deep about Brit's core, obviously. How could she if they had just met? On the other hand, Wilson couldn't help but overthink stuff.
"Well, okay??? I talk to anyone I want because I, like, can? Instead of acting like a barbarian, couldn't you have just told me? Besides, but it's not like this is the place to be walking around naked with your boobs exposed! Did you know that the police might check it and you'd be graded as an offender? I mean, just because you have these...these...big boobs of yours doesn't mean you can, like, shove them in everyone's face, you jerk!", she wasn't even sure if she should be angry, even though for once her tone was rather blunt to Aya. Or perhaps not really blunt per se, because it wasn't in Brittany's personality, but direct enough and for once her self-conscious nature struck her usually high self-esteem, since she couldn't help but making remarks in regards to the stranger woman's body features in contrast to hers. "...argh, now I have to go home and take another shower...geez..." Running the fingers through her long, dyed hair, she made a worried, almost bothered face.

| When Brittany commented about her chest, Kyokudou raised an eyebrow at her. "Of all the things I give a shit about, the cops is the furthest from my mind. They aren't very useful. And I don't recall mine getting in your way; you were the one that showed up to bother me. What are you, jealous or somethin'?" She looked at the water and leaned her body over to it. Placing her hands in the water, she pulled up whatever water she could into her mouth and let it rest on her tongue before rushing down her throat like a waterfall. She wasn't even sure at this point why the girl was still there talking about her breasts. If she didn't want to see them she shouldn't have come knocking and just left well enough alone. She was mostly silent and said little regarding her shower comment. She was always dirty, and didn't get many chances to take a bath herself save for occasions like this. She did however give her a sort of scoff like she was complaining about something so minuscule. At some point she could hold her silence no longer. "Who the hell cares if you get dirty? It's not like you have to impress anybody, not even yourself, so stop pissing and moaning about it. If it upsets you go take a bath or something, the water's right here, just do it ten miles from here." That gave her an idea. What if she had pushed Brittany in the water and caused her to get wet herself? That almost made her snicker, though she kept it hidden behind her face. She was certainly not without her mischievous temptations serious or not. She was right there though, she COULD do it. Hm.... | |

| Brittany stopped messing with her own hair, despite aiming for actually fixing it, for once. "I guess...? I mean, if you can keep polluting the river taking baths at it and no one does anything, then yeah, they're, like, not very useful indeed..." There was something else in her mind, though. An event far away in her mind that corroborates with Aya's statement, something able to sway away the insinuating question about jealousy...something she'd rather not remember at all.
"Weeeell... there are people who care", Brittany answered, simply and calmly despite Aya's ruthless attitude. As someone who make a living out of her image, of course she could care about her presentation, and so would the public, her manager and the agency she signed up for. She has dealt with worse, so naturally she could sway her ways through it without being offended. "Of course I won't take a bath here. I just said it's, like, against the laws?? Unless I didn't have a option, for example, if I didn't have a home or something...oh wait..." She suddenly glanced back to Aya, with the utmost expression of shock. "Oh my gosh. Are... are you homeless?", Brittany spoke, almost in a whisper tone as if trying to not make it sound a harmful question, or to not make anyone nearby hear (even if there wasn't anyone close to both girls right now).

| The cleanliness was, granted, the least of her worries. Taking a bath at the river alone wasn't a really relevant fact for her to bother anymore. In fact it sounded minimal and perfectly reasonable once she learned about Aya's condition. Even her own hair condition seemed like a futile worry when you don't have a home. "Huh? N-no! Oh my gosh, no! I...", Brittany said, baffled. She has not had the best of life since early childhood due to orphanhood (or after coming of age to be completely frank), and though her early teenage years seemed promising past the adoption, after some months in her new "Home" she could understand why someone would express the desire of freedom, even if it meant running away to never come back. That's what Aya meant by "choice I make", no? She ran away. One thing the girl had right, however: Brittany didn't have enough contact with a homeless person. Gosh, she never had spent time with one before. "Isn't it...bad? I mean, living on your own without a home and stuff... You said you chose this, so do you like it?" | |

| Kyokudou raised an eyebrow. "Not if you're worth your salt. You can learn everything you need without having to have some bed or house. It's exciting being on your own, every now and again there's danger. You learn survival much easier than you do being cooped up in a home." It was a much better choice of lifestyle for her after she had been with her family for so long. Of course it wasn't solely her family, but that's stuff she kept locked away in the darkest corners of her heart. "It's plenty easy to make the change if your life is shit where you are now. You can get a taste of what people are really like, they look at you a certain way when they learn about you. But the best part is that you learn not to care what people think; since you're definitely the type of person that does huh?" It didn't take that much effort to figure out from what she had said that the girl spruced herself up on purpose. It was such a waste of time to please others when in the end you yourself would never reap the benefits. At the same time you couldn't count on anyone to help you; too many chances for things to go wrong. It was just a mess. | |
