| ''Did something else happen last night...?'' Unlike Maria, Noah was a bit more curious when it came to this sudden attitude switch. Was there any reason for last night to be problematic...? Claire almost sounded like there was something else that had gone on besides the ritual. Although, why would she forget the two of them were there was a mystery. Other than that, he would take to simply listening to the explanations given, until a new person decided to make their way in with a boom.
He would turn his head to look at the female, only giving her a light scoff. ''If you want to attempt being a stuck up know-it-all, at least don't barge in late.'', he would comment, choosing to leave it at that. In a different scenario, he might have done more, but luckily for her the rest seemed to be ignoring her speeches for the most part and he had no reason to go out of his way alone. Not when they were still getting settled into their roles. He would remember her name though, in case he ended up dealing with her later. Seeing as she came here, he could assume she was one of the new reqruits as well, meaning this wasn't a one time deal. Regardless, he would focus on Claire's explanations for now, finding that a bit more important.
Alice in wonderland, eh? He sure knew the name of that tale, although he didn't quite remember the details of what it is about. ''Mind control, hm? That sounds troubling. Is it possible she'd be able to affect us as well, or is she only after normal citizens?'' It would be bad if the cadets started falling to whatever it is. And in case she can do that, they'd have to be twice as careful when investigating this.

| - The Prisoner (a negative trait of his life):
Disobeying orders was not exactly a thing with Haru, but to understand why he did not report in to Class 0 that morning on time one would have to understand his prison like life. So here we go. Yes. He was able to make it home more or less safely and without trouble from his parents that had thankfully party so hard that they were out cold about time he walked back in. Lisa was still awake and so had attended to him well enough. Minimal chatter was all that was needed for to sum up the situation that had occurred and from there silence had fallen between them, but that was okay. They didn’t need long chats or pampering to understand one another. Didn’t need to play the role of child and parent. No. Her simply being there was enough for the exhausted young man. He spent about an hour with her before getting up to turn in for the night. He had managed to get a shower and ready for bed preparing himself to pass out the moment he hit the pillow; however, instead of passing out he ended up tossing and turning so much that eventually he gave up falling asleep. He wasn’t sure what kept him up, but being inside kept him too wired. So in the end, he rolled out of the bed and headed out to the balcony next to his room. Opening the doors, he wandered over to the edge of the railing and let his eyes wander over the lit sector. As he watched the city he was now charged with to protect, he would let his mind wander a bit as the night air settled his ruffle nerves. He wasn’t sure how long, he watched the lights or even how long he stayed outside, but somewhere along the line, he must’ve wandered back inside for when he could focus again, he had somehow managed to fall asleep on the floor next to the bed rather than in the bed itself. It was a disorienting feeling to wake up too, but he dealt with it as he got up off the floor and glanced over at the clock. Heh. He managed to wake up pretty early despite the rough night. Perhaps today would be better than last night...or so he had hoped as he quietly made his bed before getting ready for the day. He was in a pretty good mood and thought he could actually escape the house and make it to class on time, but as he made it half way to the stairs, a door would open loudly from down the hall to his right and then…. “HARU!!!” Oh hell…. Without having to look or even having time to react, the young man would find himself smothered in an uncomfortable bear hug from his mother as she gave him the most….unpleasant smooch on the cheek ever. It was a cringe worthy situation really. This woman dressed in her robe, her hair in rollers, her face over done in make up, and already with both a cigarette and a glass of alcohol in her hand smothering someone who was trying to at least be presentable to the world. And you know what sucked about the whole ordeal? While Haru could’ve fought back and gotten away easily enough, he was force to submit to the unwanted “love” because unlike some, he did not believe in striking a woman let alone his own mother. His honor code while helpful in some situations simply got him into trouble in these cases. The other reason for submitting was a threat more obvious than an honor code. Remember that glass of liquor she had? Yeah that. After being AWOL all night, the chance of her trying to sling that hefty glass at him in a rage was high…so to avoid injury mainly, he let her be overly loving and prayed it would end at that. “My baby boy! How you had me worried going out to party without letting us know. Tsk! Tsk! And look at that bruise under your eye! Did someone hit you?” she would say as she finally released him. Jeez mon, he really wanted to let her have it for this, but he remained civil even if his patience was running thin. Recovering and straightening his shirt, he would give her a smile as he shook his head at her. “No, Mother. No one hit me. I kind of fell out of bed is all,” he would say rubbing his head pretending to be embarrassed. To this she would laugh as she bought the lie easily enough. “Such a silly child. Oh well, one day you’ll be able to handle it like the pro,” she would say and then grinning that toothy grin of hers she would continue. [color=#6600ff]““In any case, it is a good thing you are dressed. You can help your father win over some business partners. I would go myself, but mummy is not feeling so great,”[/colr] she would say as she rested the back of her hand that held the cigarette on her forehead as she pretended to be all so ill. As she did this, she would give him a pointed look at she said her next words. “You understand right?” her words were like sweet venom and while he hated this tactic, he understood all to well the price that was to be paid if he refused to submit. So gritting his teeth inwardly, he would give her his most winning smile. “But of course, Mother. I will be happy to assist,” he would tell her and in turn got that all too familiar triumphant grin as she waddled over to plant another kiss on his cheek. “That is my boy!” she would exclaim happily before drifting away to do who knew what. …And that is pretty much how Haru’s perfect morning was obliterated. Instead being in class where he belonged learning what needed to be learned, he found himself being used as leverage in a business deal for his father. It was a successful deal and to be honest it would make someone proud, but for someone like Haru who had been pushed to the edge when it came to this sort of manipulation? He felt nothing, but bitterness. It was a feeling that was only deepened by the fact that said events chewed up some portion of time and in turn made him late for class.
He was ticked, but about time he did get to the class, he would find himself somewhat behind Achelle. He was able to hear her comments regarding a particular coffin, but for the most part as he walked in would find himself not needing to say much about the matter since someone else seemed to be putting her in her place – that someone being Noah. He was a bit surprised to see him here and Maria was there too. Huh. Well it was good to have some familiar faces. Even so, he wasn’t the type to simply rudely interrupt with hellos and what not. Punctuality was a thing with the perfectionist and when he couldn't make it on time to something he found apologizing and then quickly accessing the situation was the best approach to the problem. So while Noah handled Achelles, he would take the moment to apologize first to the Prince and then to cadet called Claire that seemed to have the floor. From there, he would find a seat a slight behind Maria and Noah, placing him in a middle row slightly by himself. As he settled, he would do his best to catch himself up, taking notes of the notes on the board that seemed to be speaking on battle roless and mask. He would have to make sure to jot those down before getting out of here. Placing that mental note in the back of his head, he would focus and pay attention to what appeared to be information being given on a situation. It seemed he walked into a conversation regarding investigation they were to handle. From what he could pick up it had something to do with a Psyche Terrorist who happened to be named Alice and in turn potentially had a Alice in Wonderland theme to herself. It seemed Maria and Noah were already asking the questions needed to be asked regarding the situation, so for now Haru would listen as he began making mental notes. When there was a small opening in the conversation, he would speak. “If I may, you say this one may be off of Alice in Wonderland due to her codename. If this is so…are there signs of what side of the story she is pulling from via victims and her games?” Haru would ask his tones much softer than the previous night. While Maria had covered bodies and potentially from there calling cards and Noah pretty much covered the concerns of their enemy's abilities, Haru decided to see if there was any information on how this person may worked and in turn from there perhaps be able to better prepare for what may be thrown at them. Was she playing little Alice in the beginning and so was loose with the games and style she used? Or was she pulling from the Looking Glass Side of the story which would suggest a more logical and structure approach? It was curious, but he left it there for now. - The Look:
Haru is dressed in casual business wear which consist of a white shirt, black dress pants, and dress shoes. He ditched the tie and jacket back home and is wearing the button up shirt slightly open, the first three buttons undone. His hair is neat as usual though a bit ruffled thanks to him running his hand through it earlier. He isn’t wearing his contacts, but due to down playing many of his defining features he manages to pass himself off easily enough as someone who has just gotten off from work..not a lie considering his morning.

| "Save it for the investigation, Love." Claire winked towards Maria and gave her a soft smile. Though this wink was alittle more than just a motion; there was abit of flirting behind it aswell. Noah asking about last night was shrugged off. She obviously had nothing to say about it, thus didn't say a word to begin with. However, one question did reach her ears. "It is possible that her delusions could affect you all. This is why she's so dangerous. You'll have to stay on your guards, you know. Though it'd be nice if one of you were strong to nerve ailments, haha." The Cadet laughed it off as she gave a toothy grin. She wasn't worried in the least, honestly. This wasn't her first rodeo going after a Terrorist, but it was theirs. Claire was positive she could walk them through this mission. They showed promise, didn't they? Was she the same way when she just got started.
The young woman turned to look towards the other newcomer. This was a young male she was sure she had met before. Tilting her head, she'd pinch her chin and give some thought. "Alot of people are showing up late when the meeting is almost over. I hope you guys take the investigation alot more seriously, okay?" The question was a good one though. Another question that caused her to scratch her head. "I don't know much more than you guys hence the investigation, alright? But they're really good questions. Are you guys ready to go? I'll lead you to the destination."

| No answer for that, huh? Well, her little slip up had certainly been odd, but it appeared like no clarity would be gained about that for now. Noah would have loved to know what that was about, alas it appeared like that would have to wait for perhaps when he knew the woman better. And when they weren't sort of busy with planning an investigation. He did catch the sudden bout of affectionate speech, but it was something for Maria herself to handle, thus he'd make no comment towards it. Not now, although he might if it keeps up for a while longer. ''...nerve ailments, eh? Say, are there other ways of protecting against those aside from natural affinity? Maybe that's the way to go then.'' He wasn't completely sure to what all said term referred to in this case, but it sure sounded like it was related to that mind control issue. If it was possible to be 'strong' against them...then maybe other ways of shielding were possible too?
His attempt at considering strategy would be interrupted easily enough though, as he finally broke his concentration to focus on another arrival coming in. Oh, he was the one from the morning, right? Nice. For now, he would just give Haru a wave before looking back at Claire who was already ready to head out, apparently. Whoa, pretty fast, ain't they? ''We're going right away?'', he would glance towards the board with the notes from before. ''I guess that's all for the class then...?'' They had only gone through like two things by now....

| Haru would see the wave from Noah and in turn give a light nod before settling in his chair. He would listen to the questions and watch the response to each. To the first question no new information was given except that maybe the veteran Cadet liked the other female in some fashion. He couldn’t really say, but he could’ve sworn there was more than play behind that wink, even so the young man wouldn’t think too much on it as he instead focused on her responses to other things that had been asked.
To Noah’s questions, the woman seemed to shrug off something regarding the night before and while he wasn’t sure what had been said before hand, there was something odd in the way she seemed to just shrug off whatever it was they were talking about.
He remembered the night before that the Prince had stated Claire and Chris were on patrol…and as he left had he not heard their names come out of his mouth? Hmm, maybe it was nothing and he was just simply overthinking things…
He tried to brush it off as his imagination, but the more he observed the way she behaved, the more he wondered if that bubbly nature of hers was just confidence or something more. Maybe it was just nerves or something, but the way she seemed to laugh off the whole nerve alignment thing was kind of strange. Maybe, she was just that confident in her own abilities, but even so wasn't it dangerous to laugh off such a skill from an enemy? Or did she do this to try and put them at ease? Hrm...well if it was latter it did nothing for Haru that was for sure.
In any case, he’d take her words into account. This one may actually be tough…especially if the target messed with the mind. If she could mess with the mind, then what of the investigation? Would someone like that leave clues around? It was a curious thing, but he didn’t have time to ponder it further as Claire focused on him and made a comment about lateness and the meeting about to end.
To this, he would sigh lightly as he leaned back in his chair, his arms folding as his mismatched eyes leveled with hers as he gave her the lightest of smiles.
“To arrive only for it to end is a just punishment for not being able to get here earlier. Still, I had to try,” he would tell her. It wasn’t that he was slacking off or not taking the matter seriously. No…it was just that Lady Luck did not care for him today and decided to throw a kink in plans. Even so, he was here now and so would simply do what he could with the situation at hand. His question was him adapting to what was heard; however, upon hearing the answer to his own question, he would close his eyes a bit and nod.
“Understood,” He would say and then hearing the rest of what she had to say, his eyebrows would raise slightly as Noah took the words out of his mouth. Were they going so soon without being given time to prep for said mind games or make a plan? Was that simply the way it worked? You get the command and you obeyed? Survive by hopping quickly on your feet? A strange tactic, but he supposed time used to prepare mattered little when hunting something that was moving about causing trouble.
Even so he wouldn’t repeat questions as he answered one instead. “Perhaps so,” he would say in response to Noah’s question about class ending. As he said this, his eyes would drift to the notes and then to the Prince if he was still there. Due to words spoken before maybe said lesson wouldn’t continue. It was hard to say, but for now he would wait to see what the true answer was… |

| "Please. Let's all try to get along. We need to work together." Maria gave a sympathetic smile towards Noah, but they needed to maintain team cohesiveness in order to become an effective group. So she found herself smiling towards Achelle to try to keep tensions low as possible. She was already mentally sighing to herself about this whole thing. In her mind, perhaps it was best that she worked alone, but she knew that wasn't going to be a feasible option with her strength. "...Yes, Ma'am," Maria affirmed back to Claire. The nun lightly flushed and looked away from her. There was an interesting charm to her senior and it admittedly appealed to her. But this was an important meeting, thus requiring her stay focused as she cleared her throat and returned with a more serious gaze. Especially about the nerve ailments and already it sounded like their first job was going to be a very difficult one. They would have to make preparations soon, Maria did not doubt this. Yoshima's arrival to Class Zero was a rather nice surprise. With eyes at the size of saucers at first, Maria fell back to her cordial smile and waved back at him. Now wasn't really the best time for her to speak out in greeting, this was a class session and meeting after all. But, it was ending anyway according to Claire. Maria readjusted her glasses with a single finger and a sharp glint in her eye. "I'm ready when you are, Ma'am." - OOC:
I'll try to respond and post where I'm needed in either plot. But if I'm taking too long skip me to your discretion.

| "Well, Noah, Chee's shop is only open at night. Before we corner this Psyche Terrorist, we can pay her a visit and see if she has any items to help counteract those pesky nerve ailments." The Veteran Cadet would place a hand on her side while pulling at her partially unbuttoned shirt. "Sooner or later you all are going to have to meet her, so why not tonight? She's pretty neat when you get pass her greedy side." Claire giggled abit, remembering her own first time she had to deal with Chee. She almost walked out of that shop broke because that woman was always pushing for more. Though who could say no to those eyes... and those hips. She certainly made Chris jealous in more than one way.
It seemed like things were finally calming down when it came to the form of questions. And her tease towards Maria did warrant a few giggles, considering her flustered reaction. But even if Claire was rather flirtatious and easy going, she still got excited for a good hunt. It was almost like there was another side of her that came out during a good investigation. It was hard to think once upon a time she was the one being investigated and hunted by Julius. Times had changed. She went from being the one fleeing to the dog hunting, and she enjoyed it. Maybe it was from the rehabilitation or her own desires. Regardless, she leaned forward with an excited gaze towards the class.
"I hope you all are ready for the hunt. It's to be exciting, I assure you. You have free time before the afternoon, but if you wish to participate you can find me in the Sunlake Palms. That was the spot of the recent sightings of this particular terrorist. This is not a mandatory investigation, so if you have previous plans, feel free to follow through with them." Claire gave her final words before looking back to Julius and giving him a smile. He'd return her smile with his own before looking up towards Alex. "In the meantime, Alex, let's begin our patrol. I believe we can leave this in Claire's capable hands." The Prince would speak with a calm tone towards the youngest Cadet who definitely didn't look too pleased. The two of them began to make their own exit, and Lisa only watched before turning back to look towards Claire. She knew her brother well, and she could tell something was off about this entire situation. Regardless, she trusted his judgment and remained behind with the rest of the cadets. As her eyes looked towards Claire, the veteran cadet looked back towards her and gave a playful wink similar to what Maria had received. Lisa didn't react in a flustered way. She simply narrowed her eyes towards the female while tilting her head. One would think she was analyzing Claire, but in reality Lisa was rather blind when it came to flirtatious interactions with others. On instinct, she simply waved her hand back towards Claire. If the class was being dismissed, she wouldn't waste time to stand and head towards the door. She wasn't the type to socialize without reason, and it seemed her training for the Afternoon would most likely be pushed back if she participated in the Investigation. She had some thinking to do.
And with Lisa's exit, the only one remaining was Claire and the three new recruits. The veteran cadet didn't plan on hanging around for long, but she wanted to lock up so she'd wait for all the others to head out first. She would take a seat and fold one leg over the other, watching the two males and female with a delicate smile.

| Maria heard about this "Chee" and wondered how someone like that was given the go-ahead from the Queen. As much as she wanted to think on it, it was about time to go. Maria nodded at Claire on what she had to say. While not mandatory to many of the Cadets here, her background compelled her to join this task. Her eyes started to become more focused... as if they were intensified for a vital task, yet appearing somewhat glazed in the process. Maria had steeled herself again. She was a tool, once more. "I'll see you all there." That was the only temporary farewell she gave to those who remained in the room. While leaving with coffin in tow, this Maria had some misgivings about this Claire. Something didn't feel quite right, and that stemmed with how the veteran Cadet reacted to anything about last night. This was an unnecessary worry, Maria would finally decide. They had a Fairy Tale-inspired criminal to apprehend. [Exit] | |

| ''That we do, but does forcing people to like each other ever work...?''
Noah would sort of throw a rethoric question at Maria's attempt to facilitate peace within the group. He didn't really expect a response to that, but he saw it as a somewhat futile endeavor right now. Sometimes you just can't go so simple. Besides, it was too early to tell how well would they stand each other in the longterm.
''That doesn't sound bad.'' Visiting the market, eh? Well, it could be of use for sure. You don't want to be underprepared right off the bat. What good is a dead Cadet, right? Even though Claire seemed almost unusually upbeat and self-assured about this, despite the real threat this Terrorist apparently posed. Were veteran Cadets naturally a bit arrogant when it came to their abilities, or was this a special case...?
And, that was that for now, supposedly. At least they got some free time before it starts. Heh. A wonder if all of them here would actually come around to join the chase... ''Well, cheers. Guess I'll see ya all later then.'', he would wave at anyone still left there before heading out after Maria. Time to perhaps grab an early lunch and go take a fresh breath before the work began...

| Haru would remain quiet as the whole conversation on working as a team came about. While Noah seemed to question the idea of everyone getting along, Haru would simply consider the words and think on perhaps getting along with the other who had apparently started the discord to begin with. He supposed he could behave up to a certain point, but if the attitude from the other persisted? Well…Let’s not go there for the moment.
In any case, this all seemed to occur before he actually took a seat and as he was moving, he would take note of the reaction and the wave from Maria. Her reaction was…cute, but even so, she only got a faint smile from the young man as he moved passed to find a seat. He acknowledged her in a quiet way much like he had done with Noah. If it wasn’t the middle of class perhaps he would’ve greeted them both properly. Alas this was not the case, so silence would have to due for now.
As for the conversation in the room, it would continue on. The Cadet known as Claire would give more information on a woman named Chee who perhaps had something that could help them with the issue of nerve alignments. That would be nice, but from wording it looked like they would need to have coin to spend for what the woman had. Go figure.
In any case, Claire made a strange action with her hands in when speaking about the woman making Haru wonder if the other made her nervous; however, this was pushed aside as she seemed to take on different air as she spoke about the investigation calling it a hunt instead. She seemed to be excited about the whole affair something he found amusing considering if he wasn’t on his best behavior currently, he too might have acted the same way. The similarity was an interesting trait and made him a bit more curious about the woman. He would continue to study her for a moment watching as she flirted with the other female in class in that odd way of hers. He suppose she had a thing for women, but that was trivial in comparison to the odd air in the room.
He wasn’t sure what it was about the whole situation that made things a bit tense in the room. While no one was showing any signs of discomfort, the air held a weird vibe in it that only seemed to become more solid the longer he was in the presence of female Cadet. Something was wrong, but what he could not tell.
When the class began to be dismissed and people began to say their farewells, Haru would give a nod and his own farewell to the others; however, unlike everyone else. He would linger in his chair as his eyes returned to Claire once they were alone. He had wanted to take the notes off the board, but he didn’t think he would have time for that. So instead, he would address the woman that sat before him.
“You were once on the other side of the fence, so tell me…. How high are our chances of actually capturing the terrorist and in turn correcting their behavior?” he would begin his tones as calm and soft as ever as he remained with his arms crossed over his chest and his position leaned back. He would follow the first question with two more. “How high are the chances for the corrected to slide back into old ways? And would they be given a second chance if caught once more… or is it death that awaits them?”
He would become quiet and watch the other as he waited to see if she would answer. Regardless if he was answered or not, he would eventually get up after a time and leave the room, leaving his strange prying for the world to try and decipher.

| The others respond by either letting her words roll right off them or outright ignoring them to abomish her about being late. She shook it off with a shrug, mostly because she wanted to see how people would react to her.
With her barbs reflected, Achelle just hung about, keeping to herself as the others talked, she learned about the mark, and their proclivities and their relation to using Cliches form Alice in Wonderland.
And then that was when people began parting ways. She watched the nun drag her massive coffin away as well a a young man leave as well. While Haru stuck around, apparently to ask Claire some questions. Achelle decided to leave as well.

| "I'm not entirely sure what you mean by I was once on the other side of the fence, but it feels like you're misinterpreting something about me. If you're asking if we've done this before, then yes. We've captured many terrorists and have run them through our correctional facilities. The process in itself takes some time, but it has never failed except twice, to my knowledge." Claire shrugged her shoulders and as sat back comfortable and pulled at her shirt. Man, it was going to be one hell of a hot day. "Those who have been rehabilitated have never gone back to their old ways, so I cannot answer that question either. I don't really run things like that here, so you may be asking the wrong person the wrong questions." She didn't want to tell much about her own dark past, or cause some worry letting the new recruits know she used to be one of the very terrorist they were hunting now. If she were to do that, especially before an investigation, there was a chance they'd have some wavers in their trust of her. Even as a senior cadet, you could not wash away the sins of your past. Julius may have looked pass that, but she could still see how many of the other Government Officials looked at her. To them, she was a ticking time bomb that would one day explode and betray the Prince's trust. Claire may have been shits and giggles, but that really bothered her in some ways. Once you hear something like that constantly, you start to believe it yourself.
The dark haired young woman stood from her seat and walked pass Haru. Placing a hand on his shoulder, she'd give a soft smile before walking towards the door. "You should get going. This is the little time you have free if you want to join us for the investigation. I'm going to go visit the police department and speak with one of the detectives that will be helping us investigate this issue. Though I can't leave until you all leave. I have to be the one to lock up, after all."

| Haru would watch the woman carefully as she spoke. He wasn’t quite sure what to make of the woman that seemed friendly enough, but there was something about her that caught his interest just enough to make him ask the questions he did. When she responded back, his study of her would end as he blinked and nodded.
“Perhaps I was misreading something from an earlier encounter with yourself and Chris. You’ll have to forgive me for my over analyzing nature and poor word choice,” he would begin as he gave the woman a small apologetic smile before continuing. “Mmm. Then perhaps I don’t have much to worry about with this task. With you there and a system so sturdy in place, perhaps evertything will go smoothly,” he would say and then nodding continue. “Perhaps so. Maybe in time, I can learn who to ask what to,” he would say not seeming too bothered at by her pulling at her shirt. It was kind of warm today wasn’t it?
Even so, he wouldn’t linger on the matter for too long as the other decided to move. To her touch, he would look up at her calmly enough as she spoke on what she was going to do. With a light nod of understanding, he would respond to the smile given with a slight one of his own. “Ah. I see. Well I won’t hold you up any longer then. Thank you for your time and patience, Claire,” he would say as he shifted in his seat and got up. He would follow the woman to the door, exiting out of the room and soon the building after he had bid the other farewell. Once back on the streets, he decided to head home for a bit of food, but more importantly some clothing that would better suited for the investigation and this weather. The last thing he wanted was to be hindered by clothing or something else that would make him uncomfortable.
