Chris and Claire had been dispatched to the Forest of the Lost on reports of demon activity being on a high. The people were told to stay in their homes and lock their doors until the cadets cleaned out the infestation and reclaimed control of the situation. Normally the Cadets would be moving in a larger group, but because of the ritual being done tonight, Julius would not be joining them. They had hoped Alex would atleast tag along, but he seemed rather bummed about there being a ritual to begin with. Chris and Claire didn't really mind having more able bodies. Especially since the more they had working, the more time they could have to take the days off. Being a cadet was very demanding. If you weren't doing investigations during the day, you were protecting the city at night. The cadets who protected the outer rim of the city and acted as a sort of border control were lucky. Their work load was not as much as those who protected the inner city. Though complaining about that now was a waste of time. This was one of the rare times the two cadets got to partner up with each other alone.

Though the Forest of the Lost was a dangerous place, it could be quite serene when you got pass the demons. The two noticed that, as they watched the Moon with one another. There were no words spoken. There was no need for words to be spoken. The two cadets would just look at each other and smile. They had almost forgotten they were on a mission to clean the area of demons. Claire raised her firearm towards Chris with a smile, and he bowed before the barrel. Her finger twitched as she pulled the trigger and blew the brains out of a demon attempting to blindside her partner. He took this opportunity to draw his blade and stab into her. Well, more specifically stab through the hole between her arm and hip, as he pierced a demon attacking her at her flank. The two continued their slaughter of demons while smiling and laughing. Some thought this would be dangerous but for some reason, this was all the peace they needed. Down to the very last demon that laid dead at their feet.

The two Cadets crossed their blades and gave a smirk to one another. This was just one of a series of dates they had had with one another. Maybe it was a good thing the ritual was tonight. It gave them a perfect excuse to leave everyone else behind.

Soft footsteps came from the thick brush of the woods as the two Cadets spent their time with one another. A sickening aura began to spread out across the area, and they'd immediately begin to tell something was not right. Even though they had killed the demons and their mission was by all intents and purposes complete; something still remained. The two Cadets would turn towards the direction of this foul presence that closed the distance, and would be greeted by two odd looking individuals.

The two spoke in unison as they stood a couple meters away from the two cadets. They had the look of terrorists, and this put both Chris and Claire on the defense almost immediately. Chris could tell something about these two were different than the average terrorists they dealt with normally. They gave off the sick stench of the Persona-User they had brought in the previous night, and he had a strong feeling they were related in some way. The Man was cautious, but Claire readied herself for combat with a smile. As she attempted to move forward, Chris would grab her arm to stop her.

"Claire, wait. Maybe we should retreat and call for back up. I have a bad feeling about these two." He spoke with a low tone for only her to hear, making sure to keep the two of them in his sight. She looked at him with a smile and wink, being as confident as usual. "You worry too much, Chris. Let's handle these two and go home. With those new recruits, I bet we can take the morning off. Julius will be busy with them anyway, right?" The young woman released herself from his grip and turned towards the two terrorists. "And anyway, if we capture them we'll be even closer to realizing our goals. Don't forget, we've never loss."

The two "Terrorists" began to laugh at her words. This caused the Cadets to look at them in confusion, and in Claire's specific case, annoyance. "What's so funny?" She would ask...

And they laughed...

...and laughed...

....and laughed.

Claire would grind her teeth together as she looked at the two Masked Terrorists before her. Raising her gun, she'd point it towards the two. "You both are under arrest for parading around as Terrorists and... for just being annoying. Do not resist arrest!" She would begin to close the distance and Chris would follow. She was obviously confident in her abilities while Chris, knowing she was strong, still had an odd feeling about these two. Regardless of these feelings, they would act on the premise of these mysterious two being dangerous. It would be a simple arrest, right? ....
