| "What makes a robot mature is exactly the same as what makes a person mature if said robot is sapient like me. Think of us as... blank canvases. Our minds, which are as developped as that of an adult human brain, and our lack of hormones and other instinct-inducing factors make us highly resistant to bias and/or childish behaviour. Once you get the core education out of the way, our personality and maturity would only be shaped by the people we meet and events we experience." At the very least he knew perfectly well that not all robots were mature to begin with. A certain clown-dressed individual taught him that lesson.
Selenus chuckled light-heartedly. "Yeah, it is. This may come as a surprise to you, but even I need to sleep. While I'm in sleep mode, my battery replenishes and my thought cache cleans itself. Besides, like any sapient mind, I'd go insane if I didn't get any sleep."

| ''But you have your own personality, yes? So you could choose to behave differently than what you perceive from other people and experiences. I could definitely imagine a robot being childish or have bias simply because they want to be, or even like it. Having a mind means letting you make decisions for yourself...'' Hell, some people do that too. Act like little brats even though they are aware it is not the proper behavior at their age. You can be educated, but you don't necessarily have to bow to what you're told and do it. There are those who don't give a damn about manners no matter what.
Huh, alright then. ''So you don't need to manually charge yourself besides sleeping?'' Most machines came with chargers of some sort, right? Then again, said machines weren't alive in this manner. He'd give one more thoughtful glance at the sky. ''Say, how do you get by nowadays? Are people fine with a talking robot animal hanging around?'' Back then, Selenus was by that research center...but living amongst general public had to be different...non-humans always have it a bit tougher, isn't that right?

| Oh he definitely knew of robots being childish out of a simple desire to be childish. "I suppose that's true as well." He conceded. "No, I don't need to manually charge. If I run out of battery I'll automatically enter sleep mode, similar to how a human who can't stay awake any longer faints. Actually, scratch that, exactly like how a human who can't stay awake any longer faints."
Eh, that was a complicated one. "It's not that people are completely fine with it. "They've seen weirder" would be a more apt description After all, we're talking about the people of Endymion here. The supernatural is common knowledge in this city."

| Huh, so it's basically like a shutdown? Interesting. Still better than manual charge though, as you'll get back up eventually this way, while if you needed to be charged normally...you're done for until someone finds you and plugs you in. Haha. Quite an odd thought to begin with. For a non-mechanical being, at least. ''Sounds neat. How long can you last without re-charging at most? Is it longer than most people can go without sleep?'' It surely wasn't much less, since that would be a rather annoying drawback to keep an eye on. Running out of steam in the middle of the street or such.
''Heh, sure is. Perhaps you are lucky to live in a city like this one then....'' With beings like demons prowling around, getting accustomed to an odd robot sure seemed easier than if Endymion was a completely normal place with a lack of any unnatural occurences. Man though, the time was moving fast. ''Well, as much as this is fun, I should probably head home by now. Got somewhere to be in the morning so I can't stay up forever. Maybe I'll see ya later. Toodles.'', he'd give Selenus a light grin and a wave, waiting for a bit in case the wolf wanted to say something before parting with the other to go his way for now.
