| Persona Name: Raffles
Persona Type: Artificial Persona
Persona's Arcana: The Wheel of Fortune
Owner: Jack Valentine
Persona Appearance:
A towering, cloaked figure with eyes of blue flames and a decaying face of death. Raffles stands at the height of 9.5 feet and wears a dark robe that reflects the night sky. His limbs are bandaged, but one can tell he is merely bones and flesh beneath the large garment he would call his clothes. His weapon of choice is a large butcher's blade that shine's like the crescent moon. What can be noted by this Persona is the terrifying appearance and presence it holds, even if it's being summoned by a jokester. Persona Background: Arthur J. Raffles is a character created in the 1890s by E. W. Hornung, brother-in-law to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes. Raffles is, in many ways, a deliberate inversion of Holmes – he is a "gentleman thief", living at the Albany, a prestigious address in London, playing cricket for the Gentlemen of England and supporting himself by carrying out ingenious burglaries. He is called the "Amateur Cracksman", and often, at first, differentiates between himself and the "professors" – professional criminals from the lower classes.
Strengths: Garu
Weaknesses: Agi
Passive Boosts: The Personas of the Fortune Arcana are well based in Wind based skills. Users have a latent 15% boost in wind-based skills.
Persona Skill List:
Skill 1: Magaru | Inflicts a small amount of Wind damage to all enemies. | 6 SP | Tier 1 Skill 2: Dia | Recovers a small amount of HP (30%) to one ally. | 4 SP | Tier 1 Skill 3: Tornadou | Moderate physical Slash and Garu damage to a single opponent. | 16% HP | Tier 2 Skill 4: (Unlocked once using your Persona fifteen times in combat; Must be Tier 2 Skill or Lower) Skill 5: (Must have used your Persona Overdose to defeat three enemies in one battle or have used your Persona an additional 30 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 6: (Unlocked once using your Persona an additional 30 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 7: (Unlocked once using your Persona an additional 30 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 8: (Unlocked after using your Persona an additional 50 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 4 Skill or Lower)
Special Ability:
Ability Name: Persona Overdose Persona Name: Raffles Appearance: Just a more tinted purple hair and nothing more. Description: Rogues get an ability called “Persona Overdose” that can be used once per battle. In this mode, for three turns, the Rogues get access to a completely new skillset, swapping it for their previous one for that time limit. The new skills are unlocked as the Rogue gains skills normally, and they can be anything, so long as the skill has the same tier as the tier of the skill in their normal skillset. For example, your first skill is Tier 1 in your normal skillset. That means your first skill in your “Persona Overdose” skillset can be any skill as long as it is Tier 1. You can also change your strengths and weaknesses in this mode as long as you have the same amount of strengths and weaknesses as your original skillset does. Your available skills in “Persona Overdose” also are unlocked at the same time you unlock your normal skills. So if a Rogue only has five skills unlocked in their regular skillset, they can only have access to the first five skills in their Overdose mode. Once the three turns are up, their skillset reverts to normal, and for the next three turns, your active Persona skills will be randomized each post, as well as the target for said skill, meaning you will not have any control over what your Persona does for the duration of the three turns.
Strengths: -
Weaknesses: -
Passive Boosts: 15% boost to Wind
Persona Overdose Skillset:
Skill 1: Zio | Inflicts a small amount of Electricity damage to one enemy. | 4 SP | Tier 1 Skill 2: Matera | Inflicts a small amount of Earth damage to all enemies. | 6 SP | Tier 1 Skill 3: Mediarama | Recovers a moderate amount of HP (40%) to all allies. | 16 SP | Tier 2 Skill 4: (Unlocked once unlocking your fourth skill in your original skillset; Must be Tier 2 Skill or Lower) Skill 5: (Unlocked once unlocking your fifth skill in your original skillset; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 6: (Unlocked once unlocking your sixth skill in your original skillset; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 7: (Unlocked once unlocking your seventh skill in your original skillset; Must be a Tier 3 Skill or Lower) Skill 8: (Unlocked once unlocking your eighth skill in your original skillset; Must be a Tier 4 Skill or Lower)
Soul Skill Name: Luck Eater *Friday the 13th* Persona Name: Raffles Tier: Tier 1 Cost: 15 SP Type of Damage: N/A Description: With the combination of his luck eating prowess and this skill, Jack can steal the luck from an opponent in combat and switch it with himself. In PvS combat, once Jack uses this move he's free to activate it within three turns. The move will take a number from the randomnizer of another, and allow him to trade it with a randomnizer number from himself. For example, if he rolled a four, but the opponent rolled a three; he could steal the three for himself and the opponent would take his four. When switching numbers, it takes his turn. He can switch numbers for hit/miss chances in regards to attacks/ailments.
In PvP this skill drains allows Jack to pull off a lucky feat in regards to his weaponry. This can involve shooting a bullet against a hard surface and it luckily ricocheting in the right direction; slicing a tree down with his soulbound and it luckily falling towards the opponent, etc. There is a limit to this and can only revolve around his weaponry. No moves out of this can be instant hits, and each opponent will have their fair share of chance to dodge/guard/or counter the moves.
In Real World interaction, this skill can boost the user's luck in terms of average world encounters. Finding a quarter on the ground, winning in rock paper scissors, etc. If it involves average NPCs, the smallest interactions that require luck will go his way. This does not include major lucky events like hitting the lottery, missing a bus that later on crashed and burned, etc. This more entails something like gambling in small card games, grabbing the last seat at a free event, etc.
