That Fateful Day [6 years prior-yada] Empty
PostSubject: That Fateful Day [6 years prior-yada]   That Fateful Day [6 years prior-yada] EmptyFri May 24, 2013 10:47 pm

She was the daughter of a great man. One of the most ambitious men of his time, and head of the Tsurinai Group. Her name was Tsurinai Soki, and she was looking to follow her father's footsteps and make him proud. After all, she was his shadow and his only child he was not disappointed in. Her younger brother and sister were already disappointing him, and Soki knew this first hand. However, this did not stop her from working to be the best of her siblings. She was the future of the Tsurinai Group and it would be a burden she'd carry with pride. At that precise moment, she was sitting within a stretch limo parked outside the Yachiru Corporation building. Her silver eyes were focused upon her father, who was sitting across from her with his eyes closed and arms folded over his chest. He seemed to be in thought about something, and the young girl could do nothing but let him think. Reaching over to the mini-bar to her right, she'd open the fridge and take out a small kettle of heated water. Reaching into a compartment, she would remove a tea cup and a packet of tea leaves she bought earlier that day. Pouring the warm water into the tea cup, she'd watch it slowly begin to seep the tea bag like a cloth shirt in a puddle of water. The tea leaves twirled around in the dyed water as she slowly lifted it to her lips for a short sip. It was then, that the silence was broken. Her father grasped the door's handle and gave her a stern look. It was the face of business, and she simply nodded. No words were shared between the two, as the man exited first and she followed close behind with tea cup in hand. Her father was such an experienced man, and she only wished she shared his knowledge in the future. Little did the miniature Tsurinai know her own life was going to take a sudden turn in the coming years.

Standing out upon the walkway that would lead to the entrance of the school, Tsurinai Soki looked towards the golden statue that stood so firmly in the distance. One surely had an ego if they had their own frame created before their main building. This Yachiru Reijo fellow must of been conceded. Quite. Taking another sip from her tea, her father would look towards his wrist watch. Apparently he was waiting for the remaining scientists to show their faces. The look of irritation and annoyance was becoming quite apparent, and the young Soki would attempt to remedy this. "Father, please go on ahead. I will await the others arrival. It is unbecoming of the Tsurinai Group to lose our punctuality during business." The stern faced man looked at his daughter as she took another sip from her tea cup. He was proud. Walking forward in a confident stride, he headed within the building while Tsurinai Soki awaited outside. Now, she could let out the breath she was holding the entire time infront of him. "Boy, it's like the air is thinner around father. I must commend mother's persistance to marry a man like him, haha. But, he is one of the best. Perhaps even the best.. Period." Tsurinai Soki looked into her tea cup with narrowed eyes. Being the daughter of such a successful man, people expected greatness out of her. She was supposed to be a genius, but she knew she was nowhere near his level. No where near close.. Yet she had to try. She had to keep her family name strong, even once his time came to leave this Earth. Tsurinai Soki had a large burned to bear. Alone.

Lifting the tea cup to her lips once more, she would take the last sip before it was empty. Her journey within her father's footsteps were just starting. She had no room to contemplate what fate had written for her life. No, she had to take the initiative and continue on, even if the world was against her. Not only for her father, but for herself aswell. As a Tsurinai, it was her duty! Gripping the handle of her whip, she made a solemn vow with herself, as she waited the others.

The drive through Shibakuzoi remained peaceful for the most part. The newly awoken Android sat in the back of the tinted windowed limousine indulging himself on expensive luxury champagne. He was told by his creator and father to meet with him at the Yachiru Corporation. According to the data coursing through the supercomputer brain of Alphonse, the Yachiru Coporation has business with every other large Coporation within Ueitawa and even Japan. The Android smirked and took a sip of the luxury champagne. This was fantastic information and all, but why did Doctor Puzzle want him there? Surly this was some sort of important business meeting and what purpose could some Android serve around a bunch of important and prestigious business men? It just made no sense to the Android, but he didn't complain; for he rather liked the feel Shibakuzoi gave him. Alphonse took another small sip of the delicate champagne. As he took this sip, the Cell-Phone within his black and white business suit rang and vibrate. He placed the champagne glass upon it's cup holster, pulled out the cellular-device and answered it.

"Alphonse speaking..."
"Yes..."
"Is that all the information you were able to obtain..."
"Alright, keep me posted..."
"Talk to you soon..."

The limousine driver couldn't help but overhear the brief conversation. 'Is everything alright, Mr. Puzzle?' He asked with a thick British accent. Alphonse flipped the phone closed and placed it back within his inner suit pocket. He caught the eyes of the concerned driver and smiled before responding.

"Perfectly fine. Just business, and please, call me Alphonse."

The driver nodded before coming to a slow stop right in front of the Yachiru Corporations main entrance. The Android opened the vehicles door and broke free from it's relaxing interior and luxury drinks. Alphonse adjusted himself accordingly; making sure he looked perfect and his suit remained spotless. Through the dark tint of his shades, the Android laid eyes upon the golden work of art. According to the information stored within the supercomputer brain of his, the history behind such work is quite prestigious and motivational. He smiled and adjusted the wrist cups one last time before a string of limousines pulled up next to the company; one after another. Alphonse knew his father would be among these mass arrival, so he merely awaited on the sidewalk. While he awaited, the Android pulled out a cigarette, followed by a silver flick-lid lighter. He balanced the white stick on his bottom lip, produced flame with the lighter, and slowly rose said lighter to the tip of the cigarette. Suddenly, a hand came and pulled the white stick from his mouth and tossed it upon the dirty pavement. "What have I told you about smoking, son?!" A stern voice called out. From behind the thick tinted glasses, Alphonse rolled his eyes and followed with a sigh before speaking.

"Nice to see you too, pops. Mind telling me why I'm here?"

Straight to the point. Doctor Puzzle placed his arm around the arms of Alphonse before leading him to the Corporations main-gate, "Ahhh, yes! Follow me and find out, my son." He spoke as the other scientists followed behind; having conversation about science-esque subjects. The Android did just that with mild curiosity coursing through his circuits.

Leading to the Corporation, the Android caught site of a well dressed child drinking what seemed to be herbal tea. He examined the youth and wondered why a child such as herself sat outside such an prestigious company. "Ahhhh! Miss Tsurinai! As beautiful as any freshly blooming cherry blossom!" Doctor Puzzle called out to the girl with great flattery. Behind the dark tinted glasses Alphonse rose an single eyebrow. So she the hire of the Tsurinal empire; Tsurinal Soki? She was the 'mission'....? "Ah, yes! This is my wonderful son, Alphonse." It all made sense now... The Android removed the tinted shades and placed his honey golden hues upon the adolescent before him.

'It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Tsurinal.'

The silver haired young girl turned towards the man yelling towards her so suddenly. Her eyes were narrowed, and her cheeks seemed to flare. In that instant, her whip came cracking down before the doctor, and the weird man accompanying him. "This is a public area, doctor! If you are to be enthusiastic, atleast keep your voice down!" Pulling back her whip, she'd catch it with grace before looking towards this Alphonse person. She looked him up and down before placing a finger on her chin and giving a rather wide smile. "Miss Tsurinai? I liked the sound of that. Tis fitting for a lady of my class!" The young female would walk to the door of the stretch limo, and place her tea cup upon the seat. Closing it swiftly, she'd look towards the two. "My father has already entered the building, so there's no need to wait any longer. When we're in there, I implore you to let him to the majority of the talking unless you're spoken to directly. It'll be good for all of us." Tsurinai Soki knew how her father reacted when interrupted by his subordinates. It was not pretty. Infact, it was quite horrifying to say the least. Relations with the Yachiru Corp was important, as they had the main method of transporting goods within Ueitawa without much suspicion. The Tsurinai Group needed this if they were to conduct business there in the future. With a crack of her whip, Soki would waste no time entering the building. She immediately looked upon the secretary, who looked at her back. There was an awkward silence, as they simply stared at each other. Suddenly, Soki turned and looked back towards the two while rubbing her head. "terra nullius... This place puts a chill down my spine for some reason. You two be on your best behaviour." The young Tsurinai wagged her finger before turning back to the woman at the desk with a smug smile. "We are here for the business meeting between the Yachiru Group and the Tsurinai Group. My name is Tsurinai Soki and these two are my.. subordinates." She seemed to emphasize on the last word, as a wide smile came across her face.

One could almost see the aura of domination coming from her, as she twisted her whip within the confines of her palm and gave a sinister smile. The secretary pushed a button behind her desk, and the elevator door would open to her right. Soki took this as a sign, and would walk to the open elevator and await the two accompanying her. When the doors closed, she couldn't help but be rather excited, and anxious, at the same exact time. This wasn't her first time at a rodeo, but it was her first time taking a lead role in an operation. Her father wanted to start her off early. She would close her eyes and bite her bottom lip slightly before speaking to her two subordinates. "This isn't your first meeting with the Tsurinai Group, is it? I'm not sure how long you've both been aligned with us, but perhaps I should tell you alittle about this meeting. You see the head of the Tsurinai Group, my father, is wishing to set up a small business here in Ueitawa. He hasn't informed me why as of yet, but he needs the Yachiru Group's cooperation to transport his goods safely and subtly within the region. We're simply here to observe and support, just incase. It should be rather simple." The girl explained it all like a woman would. She did have her moments of maturity when it came to business.

The two men followed closely behind the very responsible child. Doctor Puzzle signaled the other scientists to wait in the lobby until he called for them while the Android pondered over the fact how determination practically seeped from this little girls pores. Is she had this much determination at this age, the Android couldn't eve begin to fathom her presence when she came to age. Alphonse watched as the child spoke to the secretary; even in the presence of random adults she still lets her dominance be known. She explained how they were there for the meeting and the young lady behind the desk didn't even question it; she merely did her job. The seemingly hidden elevator made it's appearance with a single click of the buttom from the secretaries part. The trio rode the elevator to the top of the company to partake in the meeting.

Alphonse crossed his arms up against the chest and started directly up at the elevators lights as they ascended. The young girl spoke again; reminding them of the goal and what to do. Doctor Puzzle simply nodded as the head scientists of the Tsurinai group. "Hmm, yes, yes, Miss Tsurinai we understand completely." The Doctor smiled and looked at his creation and son. The Android rose an lone eyebrow and placed his honey tinted eyes upon his father then on the adolescent. Why he needed to attend such important matters still made no sense to the Android, but he understood his role and wouldn't speak unless spoken to.

"Understood, Miss Tsurinai."

Tsurinai Soki was quite curious about the two who were accompanying her to this meeting. They seemed to take her seriously, which was a good thing, but she didn't really know them that well. Before she could continue her analysis of the men, the elevator came to an abrupt stop, and the doors pulled open. The first thing her silver tinted hues would see would be her father shaking hands with another young man. Could this have been Yachiru Reijo himself? Apparently the two men had already agreed to some terms, even with Soki's presence. She was angry, but her stone cold face didn't show it. Her father told her displaying emotions was a major sign of weakness, and she would not be weak. She was a Tsurinai, and the Tsurinai were not weak! They would rather cut off their own limbs before show any ounce of weakness. As her father walked past her, she would look over her shoulder towards his back before shifting her glances towards the two that accompanied her there. She truly felt out of place that she didn't dare say a word to Yachiru, who had given them all a bow and exited the room. Once they were truly alone, she snapped her whip on the ground and gave an angry growl. "I wanted to be here for this! Arg, I shouldn't have volunteered to wait for you two.. G-gaaah!" The child, who was speaking so much like an adult, was throwing a little tantrum at what occurred. Balling her fist up, she'd begin to wipe her eyes while grinding her teeth. "This is not fair! How am I to carry the Tsurinai Group if I can't even participate in their meetings correctly? I'm such a failure!" Soki continued to cry out loud, stomping her feet repeatedly on the floor. Suddenly she'd turn to Alphonse and point her finger. "Tea! I need tea!"

Neither men could say anything to the very upset girl before them. Doctor Puzzle attempted to claim the child with more flattery and soothing Japanese proverbs. Alphonse on the other hand merely watched the child and attempted to memorize her mannerisms. She was strong, fearless, and a very proud Tsurinai. Yes she was still a child lacking any real experience when it came to matters such as these. Doctor Puzzle looked at Alphonse when the girl practically blamed them for missing this every important meeting. 'I'm going to talk to Mr. Tsurinai, Alphonse. Get to know this girl, son. She is very important to you after all.' With that being said Doctor Puzzle departed from the room and left the two alone. Awkward silence ensued shortly afterwards.

The child continued to try and punish herself for her insolence. According to prize winning child care books, parents are supposed to comfort children during times like this. But this was no normal child; she was literally a women with the mindset and emotional level of an child. When she turned to Alphonse and ordered him to bring her tea, he blinked out of confusion. According to the same award winning child care books, when children demand something for an adult they need to know who is in charge, declined, and possibly punished for such disrespect behavior. But again, this was no normal child so such things would never work. Plus, it wasn't his job to teach her important life values; merely to serve and protect.

"There's no tea up here, Miss Tsurinai. However, If you accompany me back to the lower levels I will gladly prepare you some."

Tsurinai Soki wiped her eyes as the strange man informed her there was no tea. Trying to regain her composure, she would stomp towards the elevator. "I understand. Please forgive my negligence." The young girl attempted to save face now that she had calmed down. Awaiting Alphonse in the elevator, she would twist her whip between her hands. "Please do not tell my father of my break down here.. It is unbecoming of a Tsurinai, and seen as a moment of weakness. That can not do." With that said, she would await him before allowing the doors to close. This was an interesting first encounter between the two, and would probably continue for years to come...

Alphonse followed the adolescent into the hidden elevator. The Android didn't really understand this child, but did he really want too? Yes, it was his mission and priority to protect the heir to the throne, but did that mean he needed to understand her? He couldn't answer that question due to the fact humans are very strange and emotional creatures; this young girl being no different.

"No need to worry, Miss Tsurinai. What happens between you and I will stay between you and I."
