------------ :: Devil Fish :: ------------
A young girl watched the fish behind the glass in the aquarium. She was amazed at how many fish were accumulated for the display, and wondered why the R&D team would ever need them. She hoped they weren't using the fish in any strange experiments to develop some sort of weapons or the like, but she still had to thank them for such a sight. It seemed the rest of the public had the same idea of taking in the sights. The fish ignored the constant flashes coming their way, but some seemed interested in the humans that took so much interest in themselves. The young female was almost sucked into the crowd, as she could no longer be seen amongst the masses that swarmed the aquarium. It'd be an understatement to say they were like a herd of flocking sheep to the new best thing. Half were there because they were curious about the reveal. The other half really just wanted to be a part of something without even knowing what that something was.
This guest that arrived could maybe fit into both categories or none at all. Regardless, they entered the scene with their own agenda..

It didn't take much time for Vivian to dress up after leaving the planetarium. She had a lot of fun, but managed to put aside some money her parents had given her to buy clothing and enough makeup for every model contestant. She came in, a new person, stuffing in the right places, makeup in the right areas, unknown to the world. It was so exciting. All they needed was her name, but even then she didn't have to give it away. She could lie and suffer no consequences. Perhaps it was a fetish at this point to be someone she wasn't.
~Vivian Oates: Five Years Ago~
She explored the tanks, gazing upon the fish. She promised to take time today to enjoy herself. She looked around for anyone or anything that stuck out. Some of the fish looked back, which made her wonder what would happen if she swam in the tank with them. What were the fish going for, something aquaponics-related, or something else? She honestly had no idea; technology wasn't really her style at this point.

Even though her meeting with Akira and Gionatan had finished Athena decided to linger a bit longer instead of dialing her father to pick her up. She wondered if she should take a stroll at the stores but since she had spent most of her allowance last week she realized that spending the rest of what she had left so soon was unwise and so she ended up at the AquaSpace Museum. Athena wasn't really a zoology fan, she didn't even like biology to begin with but all of her teachers claimed that it was an amazing place and that all residents of Endymion ought to visit it at least once, perhaps the girl would find something interested in there.
It only took Athena ten minutes to understand how wrong she was. Certainly the place had a very modern design and the lighting was great, they had a variety of fishes from all around the world but that was all. The most interesting thing was the man made island the Museum/Aquarium was build on, if only she had enough money to build herself an island she would certainly use it for more interesting things than fishing and fish-admiring. However she continued to tour around the build, at least she could memorize some of the exhibits and pretend to be exciting about her visit to her biology professor in order to get on his good side.

Raidou Kuzunoha Appears
"I'm running out of time. Mokoi said he sensed one of them this way, but they must have already moved on." Raidou Kuzunoha made his onto the island by ferry. His search for the two females was coming up dry. He did want ot blame his demons for the lack of information they could provide, so instead he blamed himself. His entire job was to investigate these supernatural occurrences. Now that something dangerous could soon happen because of them, he felt as if he needed to prove why he was chosen to be a Kuzunoha. He knew this job could be dangerous, which is why he did not bring his young assistant with him. Instead, he left her back at the Detective Agency to deal with any small cases that came to their doorstep. She was eager to join him, but he knew if something happened to him she'd take the title as the Kuzunoha that followed after him.
The Detective cleared his mind of this and moved into the aquarium. It was crowded with people and he wrenched at his collar to get some sort of breathing room. Maybe this was a bad idea. Yeah, he could surely turn around and head back towards the Detective agency like nothing was happening, right? The Detective gave a nervous laugh as he turned to leave, but was pushed back by an invisible force. Of course this wasn't really an invisible force, and was instead one of his demons. He took a short breath and continued onward into the aquarium. Going person by person, he'd attempt to get their attention. He attempted to ask if any of them had seen any of the two females of interest.
Of course, no one seemed to be paying him much mind here. He scratched the back of his head with a look of dissatisfaction. Taking a deep breath, he would exhale and speak loudly. "Excuse me, can anyone lend me an ear? I know I may seem quite fishy, but I'm a completely normal, trustworthy guy." The way he spoke made him seem like the complete opposite. Maybe it would have been better if he were a silent protagonist with a special cat speaking for him. I mean, him saying he wasn't fishy while standing in an aquarium was weird enough as is.

Seeing the strange man speak out as though he had amounts to say was both strange, and interesting. This was basically exactly what she was looking for, though she knew that approaching him meant that she'd suddenly stick out in the crowd. Though on the other hand they may actually need help if they were willing to shout it out in the general crowd. She walked over to the loud man, and leaned over at them. "Are you selling something? Cause I will buy it if you are. Or are you being filmed for television? I have seventy-two new questions and not one of them are being answered."

Athena was taught to slowly back away when a person showed signs of lunacy and speaking loudly to everyone in order to ask a few questions certainly raised a few red flags. She wondered why he didn't run to the information desk or somewhere else but she was also taught not to bother trying to figure out the way a crazy person's brain worked. She was pretending to ignore him, if he approached her she could pretend to be a tourist or scream for her. However, Athena's interest was quickly piqued when a woman approached him. She didn't seem to know him but she mentioned something about TV. Was that man somehow connected to the show business? Perhaps this was Athena's chance to become famous. She fixed her hair using her reflection on one of the tanks and rushed to the man's site. "Umm are you alright, mister?" She asked pretending not to have heard the other woman.
At first there were none, and now there were two. And if anything, they were two young ladies that popped out of the crowd and caused the Detective to take a few steps back. He was a man of personal space, and regardless of the sex of those he found himself with, he kept them some space away. "Do I honestly look like a salesman, young lass? And television? I'm not one of those classy Detectives with a prime time show. But since you asked nicely," -She never asked at all- "My name's not important. I'm a detective looking for two females for a very important reason. Which... is strange since two females just walked up to me now. Err.." Raidou immediately became suspicious as he reached into his vest in an attempt at grabbing the notepad that had the descriptions of those he sought. When he couldn't find it, he remembered that he had tossed it in the sewers and sucked his teeth in disappoint.
"Do you two mind if I ask you a question? Have you noticed anything strange today? More specifically, anything strange going on here at the R&D building." He was obviously trying to be careful when it came to his wording of the question. Honestly, Raidou wasn't trying to cause a panic, so he kept the reason of his search to himself. People usually couldn't take things they couldn't understand. Hell, he could barely understand the situation in regards to those two women. There was one thing he did know that the Herald of Yatagarasu told him before making this journey here. He was not to let the two women meet at any circumstances whatsoever. If they were to clash with one another, there would be dire consequences that would change the state of the world forever. Using all the means he could, he'd have to stop that. Even it if meant slaying the two women. The state of the world needed to be upheld, and it was a Kuzunoha's job to see this job through.

Vivian tilted her head. "Well, maybe. Seventy-one questions have been answered now." Vivian was a little taken aback by his explanation. He's not a detective, but he was a detective? Was he playing mind games or some kind of joke? Vivian was more than perplexed by this, but what could she do but play along? She lowered her voice to where only the three nearby could hear. "Alright Mr. Detective, I'm sad you don't mean us lovely ladies, but maybe I can help. I don't really know what you mean however. I haven't SEEN anything strange, but what are you looking for? What do they look like?" Yes, that would be a fun prospect. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't thought about being some kind of super spy, a detective, or even a thief. Though he genuinely needed help it seemed. She looked around the crowd for anything in particular that stood out-besides the detective of course but couldn't catch anything. Did the women he searched for really stuck out? Now she was getting into it herself. Was something going on behind her back she didn't know about? She wanted to tell someone about it, but with someone next to her, there was someone to learn from. She turned to them. "I take it you don't know off the top of your head? Maybe we should search together."
Athena didn't hide the disappointment when the man revealed his actual job, she had little use of a not famous detective. Still she felt obligated to hep, she could later brag about it to school, at the very least this was bound to make it into an interesting story. "Well Akira Umeo was at the food court a few hours ago and she had several bodyguards with her." The lass commented "There were plenty of women there but I don't recall any of them sticking out. May I ask why are you looking for these women? Have they been kidnapped or something. I haven't heard of any incidents in my area."
He was honestly surprised they weren't more suspicious of him searching for two women. Maybe he wasn't as Shady as he thought. Or maybe young women these days were too trusting of strangers. He tapped his chin as he contemplated this thought, but soon snapped out of it. "Maybe it's a good thing you haven't seen anything strange. It seems they're laying low. They're probably waiting for the big reveal before they reveal themselves to the public." How he spoke it made it sound like these two women were working together. It was his assumption. When he was asked what they had looked like, he could only remember the basics off the top of his head. However, it appeared as if something were tugging at his trench coat for just a few seconds. Clearing his throat, he'd bow to the two ladies and turn around. Nodding a few times, he'd turn around and face them once again.
"One had Green Hair and yellow eyes that were a deep amber. The other has dark blue / black hair with amber eyes aswell. That's the only details we know so far." The Detective rubbed his chin with his gloved hand while closing his eyes in thought. "Did this Akira Umeo woman have any of the features I gave you? I'm looking for these two women because they are extremely dangerous. I don't want to cause a panic with so many people here, so I'm keeping my investigation on the low. If they're alerted that anyone is searching for them, there could be trouble. I'd like to avoid that at all costs." After all, Raidou didn't know their abilities. He had a basic understanding thanks to the Herald of Yatagarasu, but all he truly knew was that they were rather dangerous. This is why he brought his more powerful demons with him, though he did leave some others back at the agency for his apprentice just incase.
He didn't give a lot of info, which didn't help too much. "Big reveal before the big reveal? Some conspiracy...what'll happen?" she said, tilting her head. His story was slowly drifting away into something else. Though, while she was slowly starting to lose interest, something he said resparked her fancy. She kept her lowered voice. "We? So there's more of you. My lips are sealed... but I haven't seen anyone like that. Are they really that dangerous?" She listened to the woman talk about this Akira person. She had asked whatever she hadn't asked, so all that was left was for her to remain silent. Actually, something else was on her mind. "Who are you looking at? Paranoid someone is after you? Secret messages being delivered?" She teased, though admittedly she was interested enough in his answer. He was certainly a character if nothing else; strange, like Vivian herself.
Even though the man seemed serious Athena was unable to hold her laughter as she pictured Akire scheming to overthrow the government and establish herself as supreme leader of Endymion. "Excuse me...I know I shouldn't be laughing but this is just so weird." She said in between her giggles, after a couple of seconds she managed to collect herself and finally answer the man's question. "Akira Umeo is many things but she's defiantly not dangerous, that's the reason she needs so many bodyguards to begin with, we're close and I can guarantee that she pose no threat to anyone. However, I'm curious to learn more about these women now. Are they terrorist? Should we start worrying for something?" Athena replied. Even though she was laughing only seconds earlier her expression had turned into a serious one, still she wasn't certain if the man was a valid source of information, his behavior was rather peculiar and he could easily be a rumpling madman who escaped the sanitarium.

"A big reveal before a big reveal? I guess that's the perfect way to explain this situation. I'm not entirely sure what's going to happen, I just know it's imperative to stop them. I was told if these two females meet, this city was going to be thrown into chaos." The Detective pinched his chin between his index finger and thumb as he continued. "It's my duty to prevent that from happening by any means necessary. I know this sounds unbelievable, but I assure you the threat is very real. If you see any of those two women, it's best to stay far away from them." He couldn't go into complete details considering if he did, then he'd reveal things about the world that the common populace should never know. If the people knew of demons, he could only imagine the panic. He had only met a few people around the world that knew about the unknown. There were numerous families and people, but they were few and far between. There was always one rule they shared, and it was to keep the people ignorant.
Raidou stumbled backwards at the other female's sudden laughter. Was she the one he was looking for? Did he fall into her trap since the very beginning!? The man reached into his vest and removed two tube like objects that gave a feint glow of green. The young woman continued on though, explaining how the young female she spoke of was not this person he was searching for. Needless to say the Detective took a sigh of relief as he placed the tubes back within his vest. "I see. That's good news and bad news. Good news that she's innocent, bad news that I'm nowhere closer to finding the targets. I can honestly say they are terrorists in every meaning of the word. It's never bad to be worrisome as long as you don't panic. But I guess I'm doing nothing but causing panic talking about this, huh?"
The Detective reached into his vest once more and revealed the two tubes. He held them out to the young ladies to take. "Here. Hold onto these. If you come across anyone that matches the description of one of those women, throw this on the ground and run." This green tube like object was sealed tight, and no matter what they did they wouldn't be able to open it themselves. It was like a supernatural force was keeping it sealed from others, excluding the Detective. "If you two are really offering to help me, then our last chance to find them would be tonight."
His eyes shifted back over to the flashy dressed young woman who had asked him who he was talking to before. "By the way, I meant to answer this before, young lass. But every Detective has their secrets. So I'll say I was just talking to myself."

She took the tube willingly, and goggled it. She tapped it a few times, before continuing to examine it. "Throw them down eh...? So like grenades. If that's how they work...I can't charm them, so I'll have to do this instead....alright." She couldn't guess if she believed him or not, but at the very least, for what it's worth, he seemed genuine. She put it in her clothing. When told that he was talking to himself, Vivian smiled. "I choose to believe instead you were trying to figure out how to flirt with us....or her. She seems informative. I couldn't offer much, unless you wanted me to join you. We both should, or are you going to be busy?" she said, eyeing the other girl, with a sort of comely smile, hiding whether it was a joke or if she was being genuine. Even if the man was just blowing this out of proportion or exaggerating about something, she was at the very least having fun.

She was less certain about taking the tube from the man and only copied the other female who eagerly receiving the man's gift. She carefully studied the object wondering what could this thing possibly contain and why couldn't he give them something more useful, like a siren to alarm him if they spotted the women. Athena was still looking at the tube when the woman spoke to her and the words almost made her drop the item. "Th-that would be very unseemly for me. I'm 13 years old I can't stay out after curfew or my parents are going to kill me. She said as she glared at the detective. "You're not one of those disgusting middle age lolicorns who try to seduce young girls, are you?"
