"We'll certainly need to bring him here won't we, dear?" And older gentleman escorted his wife around the R&D Park. Just like in the morning, it was filled with people all looking forward to the reveal at night. The woman gave a smile as she walked with him hand and hand. The sun seemed to be falling now, and it was well pass noon. Just a few more hours left, yet there was still alot to do here until that time. They felt bad, considering their son could not be with them this day, but they promised to take plenty of pictures for his speedy recovery. His face always lit up when they brought him pictures of the world, especially since he was mostly in the hospital because of his condition.
The couple continued to take their pictures of the beautiful scenery around them and soon disappeared into the crowd. From the sun hung in the sky, it made the garden look even more serene than in the morning. Maybe a certain other saw this, and perhaps this was why it caught their attention and brought them to this area...

"Now where could he be...?"
Touko would wonder as she scanned her immediate periphery for the telltale sign of cat ears. It was an utter shame that she couldn't light a single cancer stick right now. The Research and Development Park was open and still full of people. She doubted that smoking wouldn't be allowed here, perhaps out of her own wishful thinking. So far, she has yet to see any 'no-smoking' signs or at least she has told herself to believe. But, she wasn't going to risk doing that right now. It would be an utter shame if she had to miss out on the show just because she started smoking.
The former Velvet Attendant would look around and hope to see if she could locate and identify her desired target.

For all that it was worth, Shiina felt somewhat at peace here. She was currently sitting in a nearby bench, leaning back as she took small sips of a steaming cup of tea, Jakob steadfast beside her, ready to serve. The Tsurinai let out a contented sigh and gave her butler a cheerful nod.
//"Perfect. You always know how to make the tea I like best, Jakob. Trés bien."// Her attempt at french came out a tad botched, but still enough to be understood. She didn't speak french very often, but her education did require her to learn some universal languages, due to her needing to travel often when she actually got put to work.
"Of course, Miss Shiina, I already know how to make it exactly as you like." The young man took a short bow, apparently not bothered by any scathing eyes that may glance over at the two... even if he was currently holding a tea set while wearing casual clothing.

After her meeting with her two friends, Akira had started to slowly make her way back to where the car would be parked, Of course she could get carried by anyone working for her, but where was the independence in that? It just made her feel like a child, so she tended to avoid it at all costs. While walking at her steady pace, she looked up at the sky, taking in the rays of the sun as it seemed to start towards the horizon. It seemed that there were only a few guards following her at the time, which was an improvement from the fifteen that had seemed to tail her all day. Either way, she was going to try and get to the car before nightfall, wanting to get home so she could prepare for the work she'd have to be doing tomorrow. It took a lot to convince her parents to let her out of the house for one night, and she wasn't ready to make them regret it.

The Tormented One Appears
Guest, also known as the Tormented One, walked through the park without a care in the world. For once it appeared anyone could see him, as he did turn some heads. Most wrote him off as just some weird cosplayer waiting for the reveal while others figured he actually worked there for whatever reason. The Tormented One didn't bat an eyelash at all this attention. He kept on with his stride, believing to himself that they were all just jealous of his ridiculously good looks. But then, on the otherhand, it looked as if some of their attention was going to a man holding a pot of tea.
The Tormented One looked at this man as his ears twitched in curiosity. His gaze them went to the young girl who the man apparently was servicing. He was obviously confused on what this meant, but he figured this was just another attraction for this wondrous day. So inviting himself, the Tormented One would sit on the bench and snap his fingers. "Me next, Mister Tea. I pity the fool who doesn't give me some of what she's having." He spoke with a proper tone, even though there was really nothing proper about him at all.

Just as Touko was looking around, she did notice many people's attention were focused on something. Instinctively, she also followed their gaze to finally spy upon that one little guy she was looking for. The woman finally smiled and then wondered to herself where he was going. But most importantly, why is everyone able to see him now? With a few preliminary footsteps made towards him, Touko would soon follow him. He was clearly headed towards a girl and what seemed to be her guardian? Or butler? Whatever the case, this boy had an interest in both of them for a reason.
"Not even a 'please', boya? You should be more of a gentleman."
She stood behind the feline-eared individual with a smile on her face with her suitcase hanging loosely in her grip. Clearly the child lacked some manners and there was something comical about it. But, there was definitely more to him than being a flippant fun-loving boy.
"Meeting your new friends, dear?" she asked the boy and then looked back at both Shiina and her butler, "Tea? It's very nice on a great day like this. I'm Touko and you two are?"

Shiina's eyebrow curled upwards as the strange person simply sat on the bench beside her, and Jakob scowled softly at the rudeness of the new arrival, before his mistress let out a soft chuckle.
//"My, aren't we hasty. Jakob, go ahead~"// The Tsurinai silently picked up a second cup and handed it over to the cat person elegantly, apparently not even fazed by his sudden appearance. //"This is my favorite brand of tea, it's made of the highest quality traditional English blend. Oh, but where are my manners, do you need some sugar?"// With an eye roll, the butler silently poured the cat man a cup of the same tea Shiina was currently drinking and displayed another, larger cup, filled with several standard packets of sugar and small spoons.
Whenever the Tormented One had finished, Jakob would place his tray aside on a nearby table and retrieve a package from his bag, then hand it over towards his mistress. The young Tsurinai neatly unwrapped it to reveal a strawberry shortcake, a spoon and a fork. Shiina squealed softly in delight as she picked up the spoon. There was no telling how much she was enjoying herself simply by taking a small piece of the pastry and placing it in her mouth, as the girl's etiquette made her never break her smile or her straight posture. Then, as she was done with that first piece, the Tsurinai rested her cake on her lap.
//"Oh, no, it's quite alright, we have plenty of tea to share."// She chuckled towards the woman that apparently knew this cat person. //"My name is Shiina Tsurinai. And this--"// She gestured towards her butler. //"--is Jakob, my, well, companion."//

Akira had stopped walking when she took note of the cat boy, moving towards two people just ahead of her. He sat down next to them and started to speak, but they were all out of range for her to hear anything. One of the people on the bench didn't look too happy about the new arrival, so she decided to intervene; it's not like she'd ever see these people again so she wouldn't be embarrassing herself. She made her way towards them slowly, trying to be cautious with every step. Once she got close enough, she would speak, her voice was very weak, but probably noticeable. "Is everything alright here?" She'd take a look at everyone around, it seemed another person had approached as well. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a man in a suit staring at her. She avoided eye contact with him, hoping that nobody would come in and rush her to get home. Though she knew they would pick her up rather than make her run, so maybe being carried home would be nice. But she wasn't a child, so why would she let anyone do that to her?

"Are you following me, Lady? Do I need an adult?" The Tormented One looked towards the woman he had met before while getting his own tea cup. He would take the second tea cup that held the sugar packets and would pour them all in his cup of tea. This would be a bit too much for the average person, but he down his and a single gulp and purred with a smile. "I like you, little Lady. You smell familiar too. Like another lady here today!" The Cat Boy nodded to himself as he crossed his arms and gave a toothy grin. It was getting alittle crowded here. Was he attracting all this attention?
Another girl popped up and the cat scratched his cheek and tilted his head. Was this what it meant to be a ladies magnet? Girls must have digged cats. His ears twitched as he gave a purr and stretched his limbs. "Everything's peachy here, other lady. Who are you? Did you come to scratch my ears? I wouldn't mind an ear scratch right meow~" The Tormented One lowered his head towards the newcomer, hoping or her to comply.

Touko blinked at the Tsurinai surname. It was the one that popped up quite commonly back in her recent travels. There had been members that were involved with the unnatural. Out of those she had seen, a certain swordsman of their clan had caught her eye a couple of times. And to think she'd find another one here so soon. This was certainly an interesting turn of events. She had wondered what the Tsurinais were doing here.
"A pleasure to meet you two, indeed," her lips slowly curved into a modest smile as she slightly bowed down her head in greeting, "Did you two just come here to enjoy what this facility had to offer in display?"
She had little doubt that if they came here for abnormal reasons, it would be obfuscated with pleasantries and insignificant details. But it was best to size those two up to get some idea what they were here for. But to send someone this young? Then again, it wasn't like some of the Persona Users facing their own trials were all adults in the first place when they first made use of their powers and the Tsurinai's weren't a normal family either.
She noticed that the boy pouring in an unhealthy amount of sugar into his drink. By the time he drunk it, Touko was still holding up her eyebrow at what had transpired. Cute things liked sweet things, go figure. After traveling and seeing people for a while, that somehow seemed to be the norm. There were definitely sweet-tooth's out there that didn't have an appearance that would make people get diabetes by just looking at them, but it was this combination that kept showing up to her. There must be something in the universe that kept equating sweet things with cute people, even boys. But honestly, she wondered how these people never got Type 2 - Diabetes in their lifetime. Ok, maybe except for one person. But he wasn't exactly the type you wouldn't call cute.
It felt like this boy was forgetting what he had promised her earlier. While this may have been some cause of irritation, Touko took it easy with what was obviously a mock pout, pretending to be hurt of having another girl chosen over her as she sniffed. "Perhaps. Unless you prefer to have your ears scratched again like last morning. But I suppose you will have that girl over there do it for you. And here I thought you liked me, is it because you like them young?"
There was a slight teasing lilt at the end, but nevertheless she remained in her faux offended pout. Touko wondered how long she would have to play this charade, but patience would be key here. There was no need to screw it up right now. She winked at the newcomer and then gestured her to do what the boy bid her to do. So he wants the attention? Then he will have it.

Shiina couldn't help herself from chuckling at the Tormented One's acting. He was certainly a character, that was for sure.
//"Oho, you like your tea very sweet, huh? I never heard of someone with quite that big of a sweet tooth. Not even my cousins like sugar that much."// Out of instinct, the Tsurinai reached up and lightly pinched one of the young man's cat ears before lightly kneading it with two fingers, like she'd do to her pets in order to... pet them. //"Hmhmhm, kakkoii~"// She entertained herself for a few seconds with that ear before she pulled her hand back and took another bite out of her meal.
//"Ah, well..."// Shiina frowned slightly at the woman's question and looked away with a nervous smile. //"Something akin to that."// Once she was done, she cleared her throat and focused her attention on simply finishing her cake, not really bothering to notice what else was happening around her unless it directly affected her. Jakob was here to warn her of serious events anyway.

Well that felt extremely awkward, at least three of the people hadn't even looked at her, and the fourth just asked to be scratched behind the ear. Maybe it was her own fault for approaching people when she didn't understand the situation, but it had seemed like two men approaching two women on a bench, so she assumed they were flirting. But upon closer inspection, she had deduced that at least 'one' of the men was actually a woman; at least she thought. She couldn't be sure, but then again, who really cared about strangers? Nodding at the only one who had even acknowledged her presence, she'd smile a bit and walk away from the group. There was really no point in sticking around when you were being ignored. But she was used to it, since she wasn't really someone who stood out. Either way, she would make her way to the car and head home for the night, since there wasn't really a reason to stay there anymore. Plus it was almost curfew anyways, wouldn't want to make her mother angry.

The Tormented One's ears would perk as he looked towards the older woman. "You were the lady who scratched my ears earlier! I remember! Wasn't I supposed to tell you some sort of big secret?" He narrowed his eyes with a low purr. When the girl started to suddenly play and/or pet his ears, he popped up like a cat and stood away from the bench. The touch was rather sudden, and thus he brought distance between them almost immediately. He found himself practically hiding before the older woman, while peeking from behind her to the other two. "Bad lady. Only pet me when I ask! That's an invasion of privacy, ya know?" He stuck his tongue out at the young woman and then stuck his tongue out towards Mr. Tea for literally no reason.
His attention was not back to his secret, which his pinched his chin and began to ponder about. "The secret.. the secret.. Oh yeah! I remember now. Earlier I explained to a pretty lady what the big reveal was going to be today. Well, the secret involves my Master and that reveal. Do you two believe in demons? Well my Master is the King of all Demons. Pretty cool, right!?" He placed his hand on his hips and gave a triumphant grin to the three that remained, awaiting their responses. Was it really that cool that your master was a prince of hell?

"Yes, and here I was thinking you've forgotten. I feel hurt, you know?"
She continued to look hurt, but still playing along either way. Though it wouldn't be for long when she noticed the boy seemingly 'teleported' right behind Touko out of surprise. So was the woman in that manner, it was very sudden and very fast. Her heart almost stopped for that single moment until she breathed again. It was just nothing. Perhaps some violation of personal boundaries according to the boy. On the other hand, the Tsurinai didn't seem likely to want to reveal her intentions. Or perhaps she was just here like she claimed to be?
Touko regarded her with an "I see" and a smile. She wouldn't broach any further on the topic. Demons was the now the thing around here, according to this feline-like boy. Her smile seemed to grow slightly wider at the information he was starting to freely give.
"My, isn't that impressive? That's quite interesting. I do believe people have their own personal demons. But if you mean flesh and blood otherworldly creatures, I suppose I have seen a couple in my lifetime..." she replied and trailed off into some thought before ignoring the looks that she would likely be getting from Shiina and Jakob.
In her travels there were otherworldly beings that didn't exactly quite fit in with the status quo of human civilization. But that was a gross understatement as to what she had seen so far. Other than that, the 'King of All Demons', right? What an interesting title. There were a couple of demons that came to Touko's mind. But one stood out the most. It's funny, who would've thought THAT ONE was a cat person?
"A silly observation of mine, but I suppose that makes you a demon as well?" she asked the boy with a twinkle in her eye as she started to take off her glasses. If his master was the 'King of Demons', logic comes to mind that this boy would likely be one.

Shiina tilted her head at the young man's reaction. She... wasn't quite expecting him to be so against it, but she supposed it was rather normal after giving it a bit of thought. The Tsurinai moved her hovering hand to her mouth and cleared her throat.
//"Ah, gomen, gomen, I didn't mean to scare you or anything. I won't do it again, promise."// She nodded calmly and narrowed her eyes at the shift in mood. What was he saying? Demons..?
Jakob caught the same hint, as he set down the tea set he was holding and took the spot next to his mistress. He then leaned over and whispered something in her ear... something that made her frown and cross each limb over the other. The Tsurinai sighed and ran a hand through her silver hair, the color of which symbolizing something the other two may very well be clueless about.
//"Demons, you say? Isn't that interesting. Nante guuzen..."//
Shiina neatly wrapped her pastry in its package again and set it aside on the bench, before placing both hands interlocked over her lap. The Tsurinai's stare was a lot more calculated than before, and where lay warmth, now there was only intrigue, like a scientist who had just found a previous undiscovered species.
//"That is indeed mighty interesting... sir, pardon my natural inquisitiveness, but is your master perchance in attendance among us today?"// She raised an eyebrow and stared straight into the Tormented One's eyes, then blinked once, twice, thrice. How very intriguing...
//"They say events happen for a reason... Sore wa omoshiroidesu..."//
