The Escort Mission - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Escort Mission   The Escort Mission - Page 13 EmptyMon Jun 20, 2016 6:59 pm

The android looked around, noting a few people mentioning going to the prison. You might try San Malarus, it's safe the demons were chased off by Isla, and is relatively safe at the moment. I wouldn't say that I completely trust Isla, but I know that San Malarus is secure at the very least." He said informing the other of another option with...at least hot showers. However, he still wasn't sure if Isla was on their side, and would be willing to take a risk if they had to. However, his attention was then drawn to Shunnosuke snapping at Claire, oh great.

"Okay easy, most of us here want to save the worlds, okay? The last thing any of us want to do is get in another scuffle." He said stepping between Shunnosuke and Claire. He did not want another fight right here and now, "Let's just take a breath and figure out what we're going to do next." he said, recalling a few calls for going to the prison, which Shunnosuke was not going to do. Shunnosuke was going to go toward Zachary to find and Azami, now that seemed pretty productive. He had come to the same conclusion as Shunnosuke that they needed to balance both worlds, but the question is how...how are they supposed to balance the worlds to the point where they can work together? Though he had to admit Sharaku had a point, it was at least worth investigating. Furthermore, they also had a mastermind to investigate, the group that Tamara, and Claire were a part of had a boss. He would have the most details, but he had doubts that at this moment anyone would take them there. However, they might be more willing to answer questions.

"Shunnosuke, I'm going to follow you to Zachary, I think he has some answers as well. Furthermore, I doubt the disappearance of demons is going to stop him from being a problem. However, I want to ask just a few more questions, and take care of a few things." The android replied, he was going to go with his friend while the others went to prison or his suggestion of San Malarus. Now, before they left, he had a few things that he wanted to do. The very first thing was to speak with Claire.

"Claire can you take Tamara somewhere far away from here? i understand she is pacified at this moment, but I don't want to run the risk of her getting stronger and turning on us. If you can take her somewhere she can be watched that would be perfect. If you could go to Yufosa, and explain that she is putting her personal motivations before her duty of saving the world." He said to her, it was a request, but it should reduce the tension and the problems that the group was having.

After talking to Claire, and if she confirmed that she could in fact do what he requested then he would move on to asking the other two members of that group. He approached Aldred and Irina, "Yes, hello, my name is Alphonse and I assume you two are...more reliable members of the group that Claire is a part of. You two would not happen to know how to balance our world with the other world, would you? Or what Azami is supposed to do to balance the world. If you don't, then perhaps you know how the core is being harmed or damaged?" He would ask politely, he was hoping that they would be willing to cooperate. He just wanted a few more answers, and if they could not provide them then he would have to find them elsewhere.

"From what I understood San Malarus was a one way deal, you can go out but not get back in. That's what I've heard at least, though if it is open that might be a good destination as well. I can only speak for what I've seen and from what I've seen the current course of action is funneling refugees to the prison. If you can get us into Malarus that's an arguably better option." Jack nodded taking in what Alphonse had to say. The man did seem to know people in high places, which in a position like this was beneficial to everyone.

"Sir, please calm down, another fight is NOT what we need right now. I understand that you are worried about your friends but we have to keep a calm head." Ok... This guy was starting to be a bit of a headache, but at this point that was more the norm then the outlyer... Oh well-Wait.... Did he just say Zachary?... No there was no way... There's more then one person in the world named Zachary after all. No need to be suspicious of people who just risked their lives to come to fight along side you.

To be honest, Jack felt as if the questions he had for the people gathered had already been asked in one way or another... So really all there was to do was wait for whatever answers were going to come."You and me both Sharaku... heh... Though to answer your question yeah, at least if there isn't any pressing matters that can't be pushed off for a good five hours of sleep... or eight... of hell I feel like I could pass out for a good three days at this point heh. Though it doesn't look like we'll be getting any rest anytime soon. Doubt I'll be able to sleep until we find Nozomi and Azami anyway. Anyone else find it funny that their names end with 'Z' vowel 'mi'? Heh, I'd be surprised if that was a coincidence," Jack would wait patiently for the answers to be dealt out and to give his response, before turning from the gathered group and beginning to move for the gathered civilians.

"Regardless, we need to get the civilians moving. If Claire can take care of Tamara all the better, one less thing to worry about. If you all have cell phones now might be a good time to trade numbers. Mine is 512-2876, I have a feeling we'll need to keep in touch. Though... I have to ask, you mentioned a Zachary and well, this my be my paranoia acting up, but you wouldn't happen to mean Dunbar would you?" If they weren't so be it, just chock it up to his police senses being on the fritz from all this fighting... If they were however, this might be the break he had been waiting for.

"As far as I know, the barrier is one way, yeah." While the prison didn't sound all that inviting to the pinkette, they couldn't just leave the survivors to their own devices now. Sure, the demons were mostly gone from the island, but there was no garantuee that it would be all of them. There could be stragglers. "So, this Nozomi and Azami are involved somehow. Now we have to find those two... I'd say you guys go focus on that. I'll make sure the survivors get to safety with Charles and those who are not looking for Azami or Nozomi. " Could those new people be trusted though? Well, if Alphonse trusted Claire, then maybe she should do the same.

She would stop on her way to the group of survivors however... as she saw a familiar face pop up with the newly arrived... "S-Sharaku...?" Oh, he couldn't have picked a worse time to show up for Mae... Why did this happen now? Like really, things had been awkward enough between the two already, and now it could get even worse... She prayed that he hadn't seen her and Charles do their thing earlier... that... would be pretty bad...

After everything was said and done, Mae would walk away from the group, and head towards the survivors, explaining the situation to them, and made sure everyone was there with the help of Lia and whoever else who wanted to join her. Jack and the rest were obviously stronger than she were, and if the opposition looked like that of Tamara, she would only be in their way... Besides, she had a lot to catch up on with Charles.

The Escort Mission - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Escort Mission   The Escort Mission - Page 13 EmptyTue Jun 21, 2016 8:38 pm

Tamara pulled away from Rita's hand when she attempted to pet her. How irritating that the woman would attempt to console her. Claire nodded and picked up Tamara's body. "Okay. I'll be back if Yufosa lets me return." And with that, she would shoot from the ground, and fly towards the see all of a sudden as though she were a superhero. Her strength truly was absurd. She'd land into the water  and completely out of sight. Lewis looked to Shunnosuke and scratched the back of his neck. "First off, I'd suggest easing off the gas pedal before you do something you regret. Of course I'm with you all the way, until I have to go back to prison like a good samaritan. Though I would like to find my brother and see if he is okay. I have no idea where he is right now." He said, growing a frown himself. He was not without his worries, and wondered where Ariston ran off to. Was he well, or doing anything?

This left Irina and Aldred together. Irina looked to Alphonse and shook her head. "Of course we are reliable. We know that it isn't Demons doing it. It's probably someone with ill intent. The only thing that hurting the Core does is start pulling the worlds together to be destroyed. If anyone is doing it, it's someone who has powers like ours. So we thought there may have been a traitor." Aldred turned his head to Irina at the suggestion. "Funny. Yufosa informed me that he had no suspicion of a traitor. He seemed so certain it was someone other than us that caused the injury. But he didn't say who."

The Escort Mission - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Escort Mission   The Escort Mission - Page 13 EmptyTue Jun 21, 2016 9:18 pm

Seeing as he got mostly ignored so far, Sharaku would frown lightly, but choose to focus on what all was being said everywhere around, at least trying to make sense of what seemed to be important to consider right now. Such a pain when too many people sprout something, but what can you do? ''I would say San Malarus is safe for now, but considering that part of Zachary's feud with Isla involves destroying it, we can't be sure whether it will last and for how long. I suppose the call is up to you lot, assuming we have a way to pass though to begin with. I personally do not care where as long as the goal is accomplished.'' That is, if he went with them. He wasn't certain who he'd stick with just yet.

He would sigh at Shun who kind of kept complaining for a while, just giving him a look, but thankfully currently he was not in the mindset to pick something. If nothing else, he didn't want to be held back by pointless exchanges of opinion on something that mattered very little in this situation. Still, he would end up focusing on Shun and the man with him for a while longer as he heard their exchange. That man...it was Lewis Rhodes, right? At least based on Shun saying his name and the whole prison deal, despite the slight appearance changes since that time when he was the 'enemy'. After a short moment of mulling over something, he would approach closer to the two despite not really wanting to deal with Shun now. ''You're Lewis Rhodes, right? Assuming my memory isn't failing me right now, your brother's Ariston, correct? Silver hair and all that? If so, he's at Lunapa right now. I came from there and I spoke with him for a while. He's got some other company for the moment though.'' Thankfully for him, they had mentioned the two and their relation long ago when investigating the whole kidnap matter, and those two weren't easy to forget, that's for sure. Either way...

He would give a wry smile towards Mae from where he stood, choosing to not engage her right now with so much going on. Plus, he had a feeling she wouldn't really want to, and he wasn't aiming to disrupt anything further for the moment. He would turn to address Jack. ''Why the prison? I would think it's still as accesible as any other place we could go to, and only those with powers can fight of a serious threat anyway...'' Was there something that made it a clearly superior option..?

For the most part, he would let Alphonse pass by his watch for now, seeing as the android was in full investigation mode right now anyway, though he would make a somewhat puzzled face when he heard Irina's and Aldred's responses towards the causes of damage and traitors. Seriously, these guys were indeed disorganized as all hell. He would shake his head, taking a few steps towards them. ''How odd. I'm friends with the newest member of your group that Yufosa has reqruited recently, and they had told me that they've been specifically tasked to investigate for the traitor amongst you lot by the boss. Now I wonder who is the one playing you all?'' It certainly appeared like Yufosa was telling everyone slightly different information...that stinks a bit, doesn't it...?

The Escort Mission - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Escort Mission   The Escort Mission - Page 13 EmptyTue Jun 21, 2016 10:13 pm

If there was one thing who stood out of this whole conversation, besides Sharaku's intervention, was how the Power Ranger guy has addressed him to "calm down". This was enough to quiet Shunnosuke's actions for some time. However, what it meant was far from pleasant. — Hold on, Lewis... — He glanced to Jack like a snake about to bite him. He was furious. For a myriad of reasons, but at the same time, the only visible sign of his wrath was how he was able to glare at people and cut them short without saying anything. His mouth was silent beyond the simple question. But of course, Shunnosuke wouldn't simply leave it at that. He was never the type to leave a direct confrontation be unnoticed, and he wouldn't let it pass. Not now, not to this clown who claimed to be a law authority. The young man remained a few seconds staring this guy (Jack, wasn't it?) with virtually no visible emotion on his face. How many seconds didn't matter, it was enough for him to at least return to his senses a tad and collect his thoughts. Once the eye exchange was not enough to him, and h felt something bottling up inside, Shunnosuke walked over to him and stood in front of the man. Perhaps the height difference and the police ID would intimidate anyone, but not Shun. He has had more on his plate than a simple police officer could threat him for. — ...You think I'm...nervous? Is there any trace in my face right now indicating otherwise? Hm? — Shunnosuke smiled, even though it was clear the way his lips curled was filled with venom and contempt. — I'm not nervous. But I should be. Do you want to know why? Because while you were walking around cosplaying a stupid television character, I was at the Prison, the very same Prison you should have been at on duty, to suppress a violent riot caused from the people you're supposed to keep in line and, as if it wasn't enough, to prevent a mass murder from happening by a demon's hand. Yes, a demon invaded the Prison and threatened the lives of everyone in the middle of an altercation, do you know that? While you were getting ready for a pathetic costume party, I was at Standasen, trying to prevent not only mass panicking and bloodshed, but to reason with someone who might be a great asset in all of this chaos. And while I was there, I had to stop everything to come over to help protecting the Islands and containing that demon bitch because someone triggered her rage. In other words, I, a mere civilian, was doing your job, all of this restlessly walking from one hell to another while wondering if the most important people in my life were truly safe, which I would not be aware until recently, because that girl with Charles told me so. I was risking my life for the sake of everyone, because you had busied yourself with putting on a piece that screams fashion suicide as much as it screams how serious you take your role. I'm not surprised, though. The police never did anything to help Azores before, back when Primordials were doing as they pleased with everyone. I don't expect your kind to do something significant now, if you had to rely on a civilian for assistance. — His face was close, dangerously close to Jack's as he said the following piece, between greeted teeth, hissing each word calmly but seriously enough for it to be seen as as threat. Shunnosuke's tone was such only Jack would be able to hear, or those too absorbed paying attention to the verbal outburst. — Do NOT try to tell me how to act when I was the one doing the dirty job. Do NOT pretend to know how I feel when you haven't done or gone through anything of the like the whole day. And... do NOT try to unleash your authority on me. You have none. You exist to serve the people, people like me. Know. Your. Place. — Shunnosuke pulled back, and when he did, his expression had visibly changed. Not the calm, vicious look on his eyes, he was more like a worn out, saddened person who was equally exhausted mentally, physically and emotionally. To anyone seeing him, it was almost as if he was about to cry, even though those who knew Shunnosuke to a fair extent would know he was holding his best to not do it in front of others, and the downed gaze was enough to deduce he didn't want to be seen by anyone anymore. — ...You're right, Lewis. I, too, am concerned about Mr. Ariston... And now, thanks to him — He was obviously talking about Sharaku this time — we know his whereabouts. I'm ready to go to Lunapa whenever you are, my business here is done. — Unless stopped in a physical manner (meaning words would do little to retain his steps), Shunnosuke would walk away from everyone in the probable direction of Lunapa. He should stop by his house and check if his relatives are fine... They probably were, according to Charles's "girlfriend" or whatever he decided to call her. Up to this point, the Kurosawa didn't even know anymore. All he knew was: he didn't want to stay close to these people for now, preferring to sing his own song in the meantime.

The Escort Mission - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Escort Mission   The Escort Mission - Page 13 EmptyTue Jun 21, 2016 10:51 pm

"..." Jack blinked at the belligerent man who found it necessary to be so blatantly aggressive for... quite frankly no reason. "... Who are you?" No serious... who was this? While Jack was sure he had been through quite a lot, whatever it was wasn't enough to give him the right to act like... well like a jack ass... No pun intended heh."Sigh. Honestly I didn't catch most of that sense I make it a point not to not pay attention to people who obviously have no idea what they're talking about. But from what I did manage to catch from your hate speech, I suppose I should apologize. I apologize for not being at the prison durring the riot, because I was busy evacuating civilians from Standason. I'm sorry I was not able to fight the demon for you as I was busy battling my own... I'm sorry we made Tamara angry, we were preventing her from causing a genocide, honestly I am sorry for preventing a fucking blood bath! I am sorry I was not able to hold your god damn hand because I'm unable to be everywhere at once. I honestly should have thought long and hard about the fact that I'm not omnipresent before doing my damnedest to get civilians to safety... I am one man, you say I can't understand what you've been through today, well guess what? You're not the only one who's been through shit today! We all have been. From you're attitude I'm sure I'm the first person to tell you this, but you, are, not, special."

Jack would stand there while Shunn got out all his frustrations.... Obviously this was about a lot more then just Jack. If Jack needed to be the target for the vent then so be it."Are you done?... Good... Because if you hadn't noticed, the world's gone to shit. Officer and Civilian doesn't fucking matter at this point. What matters is if you have the power to fight. You have power, so civilian or not you are expected to use it. Oh, and by the way, if you think I give a damn what you think of my suit, Hehehe, you obviously don't know me very well..." Crocodile tears or not, Jack was not about take this guys shit...

"Sharaku, the reason I suggest the prison is that the Police Force is there guarding the civilians. During my time there I was able to speak to another officer, he told me that a good number of the Police Force have awakened to the power of Persona. While fresh it is a veritable army of persona users ready to defend the civilians." Jack smiled at Sharaku and offered a quick thumbs up. "It's not mystical force field but it's an active defense heh."

Though that wasn't really the part Jack was paying attention to from Sharaku's piece... Zachary's feud with Isla.... Well well well... If that wasn't probable cause then... Well it wasn't but that still put the nail in the coffin! The Zachary they're talking about is Dunbar..."Interesting....Also... D-Did you guys know Claire could fly? Cus that's a new one on me...."

The Escort Mission - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Escort Mission   The Escort Mission - Page 13 EmptyWed Jun 22, 2016 2:50 am

Rita smiled as Claire said her piece and complied without any issue, then nodded. Frankly, the performer was quite thankful that Tamara was out of their hands now, and she trusted who had already proven herself an ally to handle who had already proven herself an enemy. The demon was powerless, and Claire was not, Rita had full confidence that this was for the best...

What was not for the best, however...

"..." The blonde slowly turned around as she heard the frankly stupidest argument she had ever heard in her life. She didn't even quite care about its contents... she cared about what was happening in full. That said, she simply sighed and scratched her eyes.

"Hey, you two, listen here, will ya?" If they didn't look after that, she would physically step in between them and push them away from each other. "We're all frankly extremely exhausted, and it's about time we take a rest. What's done is done at this point. You." She turned to Shunnosuke, and nodded decisively. "You don't need anyone's permission to go visit your family. I hope they're well, and please be safe. The last thing we need is a potential ally ending up in a compromising situation. And you..."" She then turned towards Jack. "It's about time we take the civilians to the shelter. Jack, let's stop getting in pointless arguments, alright? They're only slowing us down. Like I said, we're all exhausted. Let bygones be bygones." Rita wouldn't stop Shunnosuke; no, much of the contrary, she would hold anyone who did try to stop him back, by force if necessary. None of them had any right to disallow his leave, after all... besides, this was circus ground, and he didn't buy a damn ticket, so security would have shown him out momentarily.

"Now then..." The performer ran a hand over her bangs to lift them from her eyes, then smirked at Jack. "Don't take it too hard, man. All of us have had it rough, and we say things we often don't mean. Just keep your cool... it's what Rin would have wanted. Alright?" Her violet eyes wandered back to their friend's covered body, but immediately returned the other way and stared at the ocean. Rita grit her teeth and cursed in her mind. She had to stay calm and act responsibly now. Already, two people seemed to be behaving like children in her mind... she couldn't be the next one to double over and bawl over an inevitability of disasters.

That said, Rita's expression changed slightly when she heard a whistle from the front of the circus. Right at the entrance, Lia's emerald dress and hair stood out perfectly against the gathered crowd of people, and a number of employees and the like leading them all, both at the front and at the back. The performer grinned widely and quickly jogged back to her daughter, then grabbed her hand. Soon enough, the gathered refugees began walking towards the group, all led under this single banner.

"Now begins the trek back. Jack, you decide where we're all going. You said you'd take the back, right? Well then, I'll take point with my Bumblebee and lead the people. Sound good?" Rita signaled at her yellow motorcycle, still relatively untouched from the demon attack. Tamara had only fought on circus ground, so, thankfully, it had escaped being smashed to bits.

The Escort Mission - Page 13 AzdIH2F

"Come on, everyone, just a final trek and it'll all be okay! It's about time we had a nice rest!"

Even if it was unlikely that all would be okay, hope had to stay ignited. Rita wouldn't abandon this hope, not while everyone needed it to stay afloat. The Biggest Top's Biggest Comeback would resume soon, after all..!

The Escort Mission - Page 13 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Escort Mission   The Escort Mission - Page 13 EmptyThu Jun 23, 2016 4:12 pm

The android thought about it, "That was the warning that it was a one way trip, though it seemed as though I could get back in if I just contacted her about my arrival, you all are unknown, but I'm going to give her a call to ask her a few questions. I'll give her a heads up you might be coming and if she can't do anything for you then, I'll contact you again." The android replied to Jack before stepping away to go deal with Tamara and Claire. Fortunately, it seemed as though she could do that, which meant that they did not have to worry about a spiteful backstabber walking around with them. The further she was from the situation the better one could handle the problems here where evidently the problems mattered.

Though the android found their answers to be interesting, so only someone like them could be harming the core. How very interesting indeed, that information would prove to be useful, and even they suspected that there might be a traitor among them. Now, Isla's theory seemed to be far more plausible, a traitor among the group, but the question is who. Then there was the idea that Yufosa knew who the problem was, but then asked the newest member to investigate, who was evidently Sharaku's friend. He was telling people different information, and the android grew silent thinking, analyzing and processing everything that had been said. Several scenarios ran through his mind at lighting speed.

The first is that Yufosa is in fact the traitor, this was the most frightening conclusion the android could come up with. It would require him to then convenience this group of people that they're leader was a false idol, and if he was wrong then...well...he would be seen as a traitor. Let's go through what he knew about Yufosa, he is the leader of the group, he gives orders to the members and seems to keep them on a relatively loose leash. He formed them to protect the worlds, which the members seem to believe in, even though they have different relationships between each other.

What else is there, Yufosa said that the traitor was not among the group, only to bring in Sharaku's friend in to investigate and look for a traitor. Furthermore, he spread everyone out to do separate things or so it appeared, but if one of them was really a traitor would it not have made more sense to form teams of two? This way the traitor had a watchdog, and could not act as freely, right now the traitor could do whatever they pleased. Hmmm, this is troubling, what if they were separated to prevent communication between each other. Sharaku had the right idea, who was playing who? Is Yufosa trying to find the traitor, and simply keeping everyone else in the dark to try and make the traitor feel comfortable and make a mistake that this new member could then see.

"Sharaku is right, there is suspicion surrounding your boss to some degree. However, I can see the reasons behind his actions if he were looking for the traitor as well. The only thing I am struggling to justify is separating you all so that everyone is alone. No one, should be alone, each person should have a person looking over their shoulder to ensure that the traitor doesn't do anything to jeopardize the mission. Furthermore, you all cannot easily communicate your findings easily. These things benefit the traitor more than they help you all find one. There are many questions and not a lot of answers at this moment. However, I don't suspect him to be, as he seems to be playing a game to find the traitor. This matter will require further investigation." He said, before looking and noting that his friend was leaving, likely to go find Ariston. He had heard him mention that, but had been too focused on analyzing the data and the scenarios to take a moment to deal with the outbursts between Jack and his friend...as much as he wanted to. He needed to focus on his own thoughts, and he looked back toward Aldred and Irina with a concerned look.

"I have many questions, and I'm sure you both have questions too. My friend and I are going to Lunapa to see about a mutual ally's brother, and maybe to figure out what Isla is doing with the islands should she not tell me herself. I invite you two to join us, perhaps we can figure out this mystery of what to do next to save this world, find Azami, and figure out this traitor if we all stick together. Your knowledge of what is going on and the group would be invaluable in helping us help each other." He then turned to Sharaku. "It is good to see that you are safe, and I hope you will join Shunnosuke and I. I get the feeling that we are going to need your help." He said, "However, I understand if you wish to go about your own business. Perhaps finding your friend would prove beneficial, they might need your help if they are looking for the traitor." The android suggested trying to be helpful. He then turned to follow his friend Shunnosuke, he wasn't going to let his friend wander off into danger alone, if the android could help it. He then began to call Isla using the contact information she gave him, as he had to update her to the situation and then ask her many questions. He was going to get to the bottom of this, and everyone's motive. There were still so many mysteries, but he was going to solve them and get to the truth. He would not fail, he was going to figure out how to save these worlds, and who was looking to protect the future, rather than a future with their own benefits.

(Exit, also Grantus I would like to conduct the phone call through PM's as it would be easier and it makes sense considering how it would be more of a one on one conversation rather than something everyone else could hear. Just let me know if Isla picks up at all.)

Charles found himself in a sort of predicament in the current situation. Duty called for him to escort the people back to the prison and Mae's presence on its own made it obvious he was supposed to stay with her, at least for now. Yet, he was torn between following two other people at the same time. One of them was Sada, who seemed to have left already, but it didn't really matter. Charles was sure he would be able to catch up to him. He wanted to check how the man was doing and see if anything's changed. Even if he was still intent on rejecting him, it would be okay, because it was his way, apparently. The other was Shunnosuke, obviously, who'd gotten worked up about everything and seemed to be getting upset. Not seemed to be, but was getting upset. He wanted to go see what he was getting at and, quite frankly, if he was going to go chase some criminal like Zackary, he'd need a police officer with himself, now wouldn't he? Going underwater was not an option right now. Actually, neither of the paths were options at the moment. What they were supposed to do first was get everyone to the prison safely. He'd be able to choose who to accompany tomorrow. Today, he wanted to spend some alone time with Mae first, before thinking about anything. And he'd do just that, follow her and help gather the civilians with his... bare chest. Because his outfit was all torn from his Orgia. Kinky.

All the while, he'd be gathering information from listening on to the conversation, since he couldn't really add anything to it. And besides, he was Jack's backup in these situations, silent and looming, dark and brooming, he always served as a countermeasure to Jack's active demeanor in interrogations. If need be, it could be used to their advantage. Or like, just so nobody had to write anything in a notebook, because he could remember it all.

He smiled at Mae.

"When we get there, we'll talk, Mae. I promise."

Irina crossed her arms and sneered in thought. Why was everyone given so many different roles? Yufosa was supposed to be the one that gave them their jobs. So what did it mean? "Perhaps we should consider that Yufosa didn't tell us everything. If he didn't, then we could be fighting for no reason while he is in his own business. Though perhaps questioning his methods isn't a smart idea." Irina looked at him. "What are you, blind? I plan on doing it....and I won't go to him by myself. You come or I have to pull some help from here, and they already dislike you."  Aldred tilted his masked head before nodding silently. Irina smirked, as if proud. Lewis hearing the news from Sharaku made him nod. "I see. Thanks, and no hard feelings about obviously kicking your ass. As for you Shun, there isn't anything I can do to make you calm enough to have dinner yes? Well, my next destination is there Shun. If you can't go there I understand, but since you can we can go. Though it may take some time..." he would join Shunnosuke wherever he went. Having him around was certainly nice. The other two remained, considering their options. They were getting around to meeting up to talk to Yufosa, but was it right to go without the people here? They seemed to be busy with their own affairs...

PostSubject: Re: The Escort Mission   The Escort Mission - Page 13 EmptyFri Jun 24, 2016 6:09 pm

Ugh, seriously. Is it that hard to have several people in one place without some literally useless argument taking place? And these are the people that are expected to help Azores not get destroyed. When they can’t even properly work together thanks to some personal issues every now and then, because this in particular mattered so much? No one’s ass was really so much more important in a situation like this, and why would someone even choose to protect one person specifically when they could help a group that cannot defend themselves at all? Assuming they even had the information necessary to be able to make said choice in the first place. There was flat out no logic in this argument, besides highly subjective frustrations being tossed around.

Either way, he gave zero to no damn about these outbursts at this point, so he’d leave the participants to do whatever they would, and deal with the rest instead. Or at the very least, anything that was left of it, since seemingly people were leaving left and right. And he was mildly puzzled about whether there was any cooperation going on or not at the moment. It appeared like everyone with perhaps an exception of two or so people was just making their own separate decisions here. Wouldn’t that only lead to everyone being scattered all over again? If anyone even had teamwork in mind, that is. At times he really didn’t know what the actual goal was.

‘’I guess so….’’, he would respond simply towards Jack’s explanation about the prison, not quite feeling the motivation to further debate on anything with how messy some of these things were going. He would listen to the exchange between Alphonse and the duo though, since that was getting somewhere, if nothing else. ‘’Hasn’t Tamara just recently mentioned something about Yufosa too? She wasn’t all too clear, but she was insinuating that he along with one of those two that are supposed to balance these worlds will be the ones to soon choose which worlds live and which fall. Doesn’t that sound like he has a lot more control over it all than it appears? If so, why is he giving you all separate orders in lieu of ‘protecting’ this place? It sounds like he already has the tools for that near his grasp if he wanted to.’’ Either way, they were missing something here, because it all made no sense. It could certainly be that Yufosa was pulling everyone’s leg and using them in his own plans. Or this was all some elaborate plan…and he for some extremely strange reason decided to not fully inform anyone, causing a lot of discord. What was really more likely….?

He would frown when Sentinel made his suggestion. There were several reasons why he wasn’t keen on going. One, he had just come from there, so why would he make a trek back right away? Two, he did not want to listen to Joshua any more right now, and the conversation back there was revolving mostly about Rinna. Three, with how Shun was giving attitude to everything that didn’t fit into his vision? He did not want to deal with that now, and he doubted the guy would act nice with him no matter what. Too many things that only made the whole idea a pain in the ass. ‘’I’m sorry but no. I just came from that place, so I have no real reason to waste time going back. Nor do I have much interest in dealing with someone that insists on giving me negative attitude for almost everything. So do what you will.’’ There was little point in rejoining that party again. Even though it left him with few options. He could go with the rest, but they had a big enough cavalry already…and really, what was there for him to do at the prison? On top of that, he figured Mae would only be happy to not have to deal with him right now.

And so, it would appear he would stay on his own again..which was hardly any news at this point. When did he really fit in with any of them for more than a while? Well, not quite on his own since he had Irina and Aldred here, but those two were foreigners after all. He would huff, turning to the two. ‘’Guess they’re all just going to leave as usual. Typical.’’, he would shake his head. ‘’I assume you two plan on visiting Yufosa now? The old man was pretty vague with any information the last time I saw him.’’, he would smile wryly, glancing towards Aldred. ‘’If I may ask, you are…? I don’t believe we’ve met yet. There’s certainly a lot of you guys to remember….’’

"Yeah... We have to..." Mae replied to Charles with a light smile. "I'm so happy that you opened up to me... truly, I am. It makes this feel so much better." Her voice was soft and barely audible for anyone else except Charles. Just one final stretch before she could have a true heart to heart with him... Get every doubt out of their way. Was this the right thing to do? It felt right... in her heart, that this was the way to go about things. She'd give Sharaku one last, warm smile before she summoned Qilin, and mounted the noble steed with grace. She would of course offer room for Charles on there as well, if he wasn't going to be the one to take the flank opposing hers. If Charles wanted to, Qilin had enough room for two people. "Are you coming with me on the Right flank, or will you take the left?"

"Heh, Yeah Yeah Yeah, I'm just not one to take shit like that," Jack would wink in response to Rita's reminder. Yeah she was right... Infact all the tired eyes on him and Shunn were. This was no time to be bickering, not when there was so much to do. Though hey, a man has his pride, and a man with pride can't just take a full frontal assault laying down now can he? Reguardless, Rita was right, what's done is done and there's no real reason to drag on. He would nod to Rita's suggestion and turn towards the crowd "For now lets go to the prison, we don't know for sure if we'll be able to get through the barrier, so lets not force these people to make that walk for what could be nothing. If we get a call from Alphonse giving us the all clear then we'll change course. Have Charles direct you and take point. I'll make sure everyone gets in alright. See you on the other side,"

As the evacuation began Jack would keep an ear open on the conversation with the Zodiacs, he might not know exactly what was going on, but he for sure knew this information would be important. Being the last one into the tunnels gave him the opportunity to watch as the rest of the party dispersed and keep an eye on Tamara and Claire as long as he could.

If he ever had the opportunity he would do his best to meet up with Claire once more before taking his leave and offer his further assistance if she needed it and give her the Walky Talky from his belt as a way to contact him. Though it probably wouldn't be a very effective way to talk across dimensions, it was still useful in this world at the very least.

"Sharaku, if you're stumped on places to go you could always come with us. I mean, after we get these civilians to safety our next move is sorta in the air... But it beats wandering around on yer own right? In times like these its best to have a friend by your side."Jack would nod to the grey man with his trade mark toothy heroic grin before donning his helmet once more and preparing to take his leave of the Island. After the last of the civilians were down in the tunnel... Jack would return to the still body he had covered with his coat, that magically seemed to grow back after he took it off... strange. He would kneel next to Rin for a moment, staying silent out of respect. He would stay like this for only a few seconds before cradling her in his arms and rising to his feet."We did it Rin... no one else died..."

Quietly and quickly Jack entered the tunnels and left the Island

Aldred looked to Sharaku. "Aldred. She and I have been close partners. You weren't exactly meant to meet so many of us. We all are never usually so close together when carrying out our missions. Soon we will be leaving, and most likely will return. But it appears for your world everyone has gotten a moment to rest. I suspect tomorrow will be a rough day for you all. What do you plan to do from here? You assisted my friend, so I will help you in return." He cared deeply for Irina, though one could wonder why. She was brash and rude. Irina herself right now had her arms crossed and looked away from the two. Aldred however was not one to not repay someone for their assistance. Good deeds always deserved to be rewarded.
