| Gael hummed to himself as he made his way to the Azores Station. It was obvious the transportation to the island but of course the trains were no longer running during the commotion. It would appeared the bleached haired man would have to walk the distance, which seemed quite troubling. After all, he wasn't the most athletic, nor was he the biggest fan of simply walking without knowing what exactly he was walking into. However, the only place that seemed to have any relevance to him was Standasen. He had never been himself, seeing how he spent most of his time in the backwoods of Malstu. He'd reach into his bag and remove a thick book that displayed the islands of Azores on the cover. It seemed to be a sort of guide for a tourist, if they were to ever visit the series of islands.
He figured since he had time, he could brush up on his reading. Especially since once he made it to the tracks, there was no service. The place wasn't empty, as people were trying to catch some sort of ride to make sure their families were okay. Apparently they had never thought how shit out of luck they'd become once the trains ever stopped running here. It made Gael smile abit to see the desperation in some of their faces, but he couldn't allow this to slow him down. In a swift movement, he rolled over the protective rails that kept the general public from the tracks. Landing with a slight hop, he continued onwards. Others were already forcing themselves past security, and he simply slipped in with them when they finally broke through the human body barricade.
Now that that was done, the tedious part was walking along the tracks to get to the next island. Luckily he was not alone, as a few people seemed to want to take the track back. It was amazing to see people go towards danger instead of look to flee from it. Self preservation really didn't come into play until their actual lives were in danger though, correct? So, if a demon were to appear right now, they may have second thoughts about charging in so blindly. That was the funny thing about the human mind. When working on adrenaline it made people appear like dogs chasing cars. They chased and chased, but when they finally achieve what they were going for, they did not know what to do next. That was this situation. If they were to find their family and came face to face with a demon, what would these people possibly do?
