| Oh whatever could he do? Outnumbered and outmatched? Trapped by Ahura Mazda, and sure to be handicapped by the strange machine she had been trying to give to him. The First King had a look of worry as his innate rival came towards him at such speeds. And as the machine seemed to latch upon his face, she'd see it suddenly split completely in half in a mere second. The blood he had previously spit up over his face had been used as his own weapon, that acted as a defense to this contraption. It was an easy mistake, seeing how Tomoe had no idea one of his elements was his own blood in terms to his physical attacks. A simple, costly mistake. Was there any other chance for Yusugi to return without that device? Regardless, the First King began to cackle in his make shift prison. "Sorry, Yusugi. Looks like things are coming to an end for you. My time in this body has been fun, but I can't hold back anymore." The evil deity thought this to himself as a surge of power began to form around his body. The Earth began to shift from the sheer power, and he closed his eyes with a confident grin.
The main body of Angra Mainyu began to give a howl outwards, causing shockwaves to spread out across the skies and open various realities overhead. Soon enough, the sky cracked and shattered, leaving nothing but the bridge of realities where Brahman previously resided. The most central place where one can access any such world, no matter where it resided in the multiverse. In other words, the location where Angra Mainyu could complete its goal on universal saturation.
"Ahura, you don't have much time left, do you? Neither do I. How about we end this in a more comfortable place?" The First King began siphon power from the otherworldly deity, as powerful sparks of energy came downward from Angra Mainyu's body and fell upon him like a bolt of lightning. The moment it touched him, his skin exploded and he was covered in a never ending aura of power. Yusugi's body could not handle this immense energy and began to break down. It was obvious the First King only had a few moments in this mode, and all the other Kings that were connected to him would begin to feel that intense, debilitating heat he currently felt aswell. He only had about ten seconds in this form before being forced out of Yusugi's body. So he would ignore Kahn's prodding and go straight for the main goal.
With this sudden influx of power, he erupted from the Earth at incredible speeds and headed straight for his rival. He wished to end this in one attack. Though, a sudden ill feeling hit him and he hit the ground hard. Hard enough to send him crashing down and forming a trench in the Earth past Tomoe and towards a deeper part of the courtyard. The First King held his chest and banged his head on the ground in extreme pain. Much more than he would have expected with the power surge, but something was stopping him from using the power against her. The crackle of energy suddenly did one last pop before vanishing, and the First King returned to his base state that held no godly power. Coming to this realization, the First King climbed out of the trench forcefully before falling onto the hard ground. Looking up at the group, Yusugi stood and gave a smile.
"Well.. I wasn't expecting this. For some reason, this body rejected my power. That's never happened before in the countless battles we've had before. I wonder why.." The First King seemed confused if anything, but not too worried. Though he was probably weaker than all of them right now, he still had Yachiru's body. So they could destroy him. Strike him down. Whatever heroes did to villains, and he'd still be fine. Though, he didn't want Ahura Mazda getting any sort of win from him. So forming a blade with his blood, he'd try to stab himself in the neck with a smile. As long as Yusugi died and there was pain on someone's end, that was a win for him.

| His eyes popped open, awake. It hurt all over, but he was recognizing that he was till alive. Jin had wished it would've been over for him as of now. Yet, he was called back. As he woke up, he found himself gagging on the boy's grip. There was nothing he really could do. But thankfully, Tomoe sure can. And with her help, he was out of the monster's grasp. He coughed heavily as air finally sucked in through his sore throat. That was a close one. Any longer and it would've been bad. Jin looked up and saw Tomoe attempting to latch the machine on Yusugi and understood her message. Hassan was summoned at his side, ready to act upon command as the Nyarlathotep Child's senses peaked. Things... didn't look great. The machine that they had banked on earlier broke and the First King was going to attack Tomoe with all this power he had stored up-- only to come at a problem. It seemed something happened and caused him to diverge elsewhere. With a frown, Jin ran over to where Yusugi was landing at. Deeper in the courtyard it was, but it's not as if he can't reach it. As Yusugi was getting out, he was taking the initiative. "I think not." Hassan let loose a web of chains shot out towards the First King. Three links aimed to tie around the wrist where his hand was holding his own blood blade and kept it from slashing at himself as it forcibly made his own arm meet against his own sides while restricting movement and with the blood blade out of the way from harming himself. The rest would coil around his whole body with his neck and the rest of his joints first and then his whole physical vessel before allowing him to do anything else. Jin wasn't going to take chances after what happened earlier, losing power or not. His victim would now be a metallic cocoon from head to toe. The Persona would pull roughly enough to force Yusugi onto the grass to facilitate the action before forcing him down face down. Of course, all of this wouldn't hurt him since it aimed to keep him from moving. At best the chains would feel tight and wouldn't cause any damage. His mouth was at least exposed so that he could breathe. Hassan would grab Jin and then lunged over closer to where Yusugi was. He'd kneel down and wrest the blade out of his grasp. Of course, he rolled up the sleeves of his jacket to do so. With fingers like Jin's, from his years of Xing Yi, he was likely to extract it from the boy and would throw it behind him away. Tearing a piece of his sleeve's jacket, Jin would immediately wipe his mouth of the blood and threw it behind him. He drew out his cigarette and started to light it. "Now stay down and be a good boy." He was already expecting something from the blade and even the bloodied cloth from earlier. Common sense would say they can't do anything else. But, Jin knew enough something unexpected would always happen even to the best of military veterans. - Actions:

He is able to better perceive incoming attacks and greatly increases his chances of evading and/or reacting. In PvS, it acts like a normal Sukukaja. In PvP, for three turns, it allows Jin to have initiative in reacting to an attack just right before it's being made. However, if movement is hindered in anyway, this skill loses its purpose as it merely acts to prompt Jin to evade an attack that's about to be made and allows him to dodge at the nick of time. Or even react accordingly as to how an attack is being used.

| Well... this was... unexpected. What exactly happened there was beyond the android, but just like Jin, he was quick to act. Beowulf appeared Behind Caestus, creating a small platform underneath the android's feet. It would then expand with such force that it, like a pin ball launching mechanism, launched Caestus through the air towards Jin and Yusugi. he landed a couple of feet behind Jin, rolling to ease the fall before quickly standing up, and keeping check around. That maniac could control his own blood, eh... Well, to be safe, he would raise up his arms, and summon his soulbound as Beowulf vanished again. If that sly bastard was trying to get the drop on Jin now, he'd make sure nothing would catch his comrade off guard. "Nice to see you up and running again."- Stats:

| Kahn watched it all happen so quickly, if this what the fight had been like...Kahn felt like it was completely beyond his tier. However, upon seeing the first king try and off himself, rather suddenly Kahn rushed forward with the intent on stopping that from happening. Of course...before he could reach him...there were chains being wrapped around the First King to hold him in place and prevent the blade of blood from being used. If this was successful, Kahn would visibly relax, if this attempt failed then he would try to stop the first king or use his arm or hand to intercept the blade.
Otherwise, Kahn would approach slowly taking off his jacket, well he always had this on because it looked cool, in his opinion, but he would follow up but remain a few feet away from Jin and Caestus in case...just in case something went terribly arwy. "If you need more rags, I can tear up my coat...but blood as a weapon. That's both impressive and scary." he said getting ready to tear his coat up if it was needed for additional rags. He was within arms length of Jin and Caestus, just in case there was a sudden attack they wouldn't be too clumped together.

| Vera watched the First king suddenly break down as if someone pulled the plug on his body. The intense pain that washed over her when he had powered up had caused her to fall to her knees exhausted, but now she seemed to have caught her breath. The Ice Princess was secretly happy that Mikoto came to protect her, even if she would never show such an emotion. Regardless, with the First King powered down she was now able to move freely. Her eyes were directed towards the sky that seemed to shatter and break like glass. She felt like that could be a metaphor for multiple things that had happened this very night. Fragile balance between powers, alliances, and lives. It could all shatter really, and her pessimistic side made her bite her lip as she pondered to herself. With the First King, that was one problem down but it didn't mean anything if the God was still rampaging around. The violet haired young woman stayed silent and to herself as she began to sink away from the group.
Most likely the ritual was completed using someone else. If Tomoe was still here, then it was most likely Souka, and Yachiru was probably performing his ritual within the beast. If he wasn't stopped, then all this meant nothing. The world would disappear and all their hard work would go to nothing. Vera contemplated her own future choices here. The Kings together could certainly open the path to Yachiru, but would they all cooperate? Surely the First King would not... The Second King either. The Fourth King was dismantled and destroyed so could she even help either?
"How..... troublesome."

| And so shattered one of Tomoe's hopes and dreams. Perhaps she should have predicted something like this, but she nor others knew, save for people who weren't here right now. It was as though her view of the finish line shattered in one fell swoop. She felt useless for a brief moment. So all that confidence, all that power, was doing nothing to him? Was he truly still above her? No, she had to keep fighting; the world was ending around her and she refused to let it happen. Only now it was as though he suddenly went from zero to a hundred in an instant. Though strangely enough, as the sky around them changed into everyone in every world's sky, he would crash to the earth like a meteor and his power now gone. He wasn't using his power? What could possibly reject it other than...
"Yusugi...?"
Her body instantly shifted to his as she grabbed his body and arm to keep him from actually stabbing himself while Jin wrapped the chains around him, holding his body on the ground upright, while grabbing the blade herself. Jin was quick to react, but of course, Tomoe was a Goddess at this point, faster and stronger than him in every way. She would reach through the chains to split them apart to reveal his eyes, and allowed Jin to remove the blood from Yusugi's mouth to make sure he couldn't do this again. In fact, she would proceed to wipe the blood off herself with a ridiculous speed, but in a caring gesture in preparation in case Yusugi tried to stab him or her again. His eyes were golden, and in them, she knew someone was still in there. Maybe getting him back was harder now, but she knew he was trying. She held his body his his restrained arms in her own, looking into his golden orbs as the light in her body began to dim slightly, before returning to its normal hue. She was running out of time; it was now or never. She placed a hand over the side of his face, praying to feel some kind of burning sensation like she always felt when holding his hand in the Velvet Room. At this point she wanted to try anything and everything to get someone she longed for to return."Yusugi...! You're in there! I know you are! I can feel that. I won't let you, or this body die while I still breathe. You can come back to us, and help return the world that was stolen from you. You do not deserve to go, not like this. I, I can't let you go, you're part of me, you always were. Angra can't keep you in there, you proved that. Just come back to me or I will go in there and get you out myself, I won't make my promise to you a lie!" She squeezed his shoulders through the chains in the hopes that he was in there, as though she was forging through his body to find him, her face above his own. That machine may have been smashed, but something happened for this power to weaken. He was in there right...? ...Right?Four turns...

| They wasted no time in ganging up on him the moment his power failed him. The First King couldn't help but give a crooked smile in all this bondage. Who would have guessed they had such an interest in things? Well that was okay. They stopped him from killing Yusugi but it didn't matter. Everyone was going to die soon enough anyway. They were even so careful that they wiped the blood from his mouth as if he couldn't produce more from even the smallest injury. How cautious they were...
When he was restrained by the Goddess herself, his eyes seemed to twitch in pain. That burning sensation of two opposing forces colliding had made his skin crawl. This passionate Goddess was filling him with hate. They had been enemies for countless millennia and had battles that lasted for centuries on end. And each and every time, she never showed intense hate but instead she showed overpowering love. The First King hated her. Hated.. Hated.. Hated. HE HATED HER! At the same time, Angra Mainyu had seen this for countless years and grown to expect it. For one to have an intense hatred for another, there had to be some sort of twisted love mixed in aswell. He wanted to kill her not out of pure hatred and fowl feelings only. He wanted to hurt her so she could be brought down to his level, could see things from his point of view. Though, that never worked and it didn't this time either.
"It's time to end this little parade. I'll always hate you, Ahura Mazda. Our race will never end, and for all eternity your existence will always be bound to mine. Isn't it time for us to bring down the final curtain? You can have Yusugi for whatever time left he has on this world, but your finish line isn't with him: It's with me in total darkness. The two of us opposing each other for all eternity."
With that, Yusugi's body did a final jerk before a sudden burst of bile shot forth for his eyes and mouth and was pulled into the air in an instant. The process only took a second, but the green haired young man have a small seizure before suddenly coming to a still. He was still alive, but barely conscious. What did become apparent was the green King insignia that sudden flashed upon the palm of his hand. The First King had finally been returned, and the bile that cut him off from the others were finally removed. As long as Five of the Kings were present, they'd be able to open the path to Tomoe's final destination. The reality within Angra Mainyu's body where she could finally banish the God and restore the world.
Tomoe herself would feel her existence, that was fading once before, finally become stable. The power of Ahura had become hers permanently, without the risk of fading or disappearing. The First King's previous strength fell to her, and in an instant she had unlocked her own permanent connection to her other self. Ahura Mazda appeared before her in a flash of light, blinding to all but Tomoe herself.
"Tomoe, I have a task only you can accomplish. My power has finally been restored within you, but this world will end in any second now. Do you have the strength to continue onward, even if the lives of these humans were to suddenly end? Angra Mainyu must be stopped from within, but the moment you enter his world, this one and everyone in it will vanish. The only thing holding this existence together right now is myself, and Brahman's replacement. But once we go to face Angra Mainyu for the final battle, my power will leave here and everyone will cease to exist. However, this does not mean they will be gone forever. If we can succeed, this world, and all connected worlds, will be reborn."

| Yatagarasu appeared on the scene riding a plume of smoke. He jumped down from the dark clouds and landed by Vera and Mikoto's side in confusion. At one moment, his King insignia was close to burning on his chest and now it was fine. More than fine, it was finally in complete order and synchronized with the rest. It was confusing, but his eyes did look towards the First King's body and the feint glow of his King insignia. This was the first time Yatagarasu had seen it; but it reminded him that the First King was still one of them even if he was alittle strange. Seeing all these people huddled around the King made Sora raise a brow. Especially since these were the same people he wanted to kill just moments ago. It looked as if the First King was attempting to do that himself... Before he could ask what was going on, a blinding light appeared that caused him to shield his eyes and turn his head away. "What the hell is going on? Atleast take me out to dinner before you flash me!" The teen barked the words before turning his back to the light altogether.
"Princess, you okay? I felt the King insignia light up and knew the First King was near you. Though, it looks like things are pretty wrapped up here... Excluding the giant God destroying realities; including my girlfriend's one." The skater rubbed the back of his neck as he gave a sort of breath. This whole situation was technically his fault and he knew it. Ever since Four was killed, his hate fueled Yachiru's ambitions. No wonder he let him on the Kings. The man must have known how unstable he was, and how easy it was for him to blow up. Sora felt like a fool.

| "It seems something interesting is happening here. I walk away for a second and my lovely test subject has vanished. Not only this, but the sky disappears and newcomers appear? I'm intrigued." Tsurinai Soki appeared with her arms crossed beneath her chests and a tired smile. Beside her was a young, purple haired man and a young blue haired girl. The confident scientist seemed to relish in the situation, however her attention seemed to snap back as she felt two small arms wrap around her waist. Soki looked downed to see the Fourth King being shy, just like a child would be when seeing some new faces. Thanks to Valentine's help, she was more human than ever before. The memories of her previous life were restored, but her humanity was restored. She could hardly be compared to a machine anymore, and her fate as a King had been relinquished. The small girl's eyes were focused on Yatagarasu as she partially hid behind Soki. The scientists placed a hand on the young one's back and gave a nod to reassure her it was okay.
The Scientist only needed to say it once before the previously Fourth King ran to Sora and gave him a hug. It was a sweet reunion, but it was going to be short lived. Tsurinai Soki cleared her throat while shielding her eyes to face the source of the blinding light. "Kyokudou-san... Or should I say Ahura Mazda-san, as a scientist I hate to say this, but my hands are tied the rest of this night. Only you can stop what's coming, but the pathway can be opened by the Kings. Four is no longer a King, but we have three here that can help open the path. I'm not sure if that's solely enough though." The young woman tapped her chin in deep thought. Meanwhile, Valentine was pretty quiet. He didn't want to make a scene in regards to his mother, but he was happy to see her with the others and not alone like she usually was. In actuality, he was happy to see her with those who cared about her well being. In his reality, she always did things alone. The thief gave a smile as he turned to leave but was stopped by the appearance of two females joining the group.
One of the females was the Third King, a woman named Ree. The other female was the Second King, a woman named Laura. The two women walked side by side to reach the others, and Ree would immediately move to the Fourth King's side and kneel down to give the hug. The Second King was kind of distant, crossing her arms and looking away with a childish pout.
"For Yachiru-sama's sake, I've decided to help you aswell: as long as he's put in his place and woken up from the dream he's been in for years. Then maybe.. once this is all behind him.. he'll truly be only mine. Even if I have to find him in the afterlife."

| It seemed he was able to bound the God in place. While it prevented the vessel's death, it didn't prevent the parasite from leaving. Jin clicked his tongue in distaste. Not even his chains could pin that down. As soon as that sludge had left, there was only the body called "Yusugi". He was clearly not in a good state, whether or not he was alive. Hassan loosened the chains and let it slip away from him. There was no need for this bondage. "Argh!?" What came next blinded him. Jin had brought up his callused hand to hamper the light from filling his eyesight. He looked back upon hearing someone behind him. Red-headed, Skate-board, and punkish attire. That had to be the Fifth King. It didn't look like he was here to fight them just as Mikoto had promised. Still, that light was an annoyance, but it seemed to be a good thing as she seemed to finally have gained her full strength. The only bad thing was what emptied Jin. This world was going to end. No matter what they did, that was a fact. Perhaps he knew that was the case and never really wanted to believe it. Was this what "she" wanted...? "Damn." He was... bitter. And it clearly showed. Yes, there was a chance. But, that's not what he wanted. The former teacher took an angry drag at his cigarette and hissed it out through his nostrils just as vexed. Someone else seemed to enter the scene as well. And she wasn't alone. The familiar sight of Soki only meant she was done with Four. She was done with her end. Good. But nothing really mattered to him anymore. None of it ever did. The sight of the little girl hugging the boy put salt on the wound. So did Three returning to hug Four as well. "I envy you," he said to the Second King with a faint smile. He really did. All these people had something that he didn't. And it was something he lost a long time ago from his own inadequacies. It was a sight that only caused him to feel bitter. But this was something he chose to do. Nothing that he could do. Just to complain about it was unseemly and he wasn't one to do that. Maybe... maybe he should've... Jin looked back to Tom--no Ahura Mazda with his hand shielding him from the light. "Then we better get moving now. There's no time." This was the final battle. The last dash towards the finish line. Would they be the first to reach it? Or would Yachiru and Angra Mainyu claim their prize? It's what he wondered, but ultimately, didn't really care either way. "If you manage to win, don't bring me back. Please." | |

| The blinding light was so sudden, it even caused the android to flinch, covering his eyes with his arm. Well, that seemed to have done the trick. Ahura was with Tomoe now, in full force. Finally, some good news. 'Bout damn time. The android actually felt... happy. Now they stood a chance. "Jin? Something wrong?" He looked at the former teacher with a slight frown of worry. Why be bitter now? They actually had a chance to put a stop to Yachiru's plans.
// Looks like we're finally close to wrapping this shit up. // The android thought as the remaining kings, Soki and the others returned. Seeing them all reuniting was... pleasing in a way. Considering how this night had gone thus far, happy moments like these were rare. Although, there was one person he felt missing... Shizuka, of course. Well, there wasn't much else he could do now. It was all in Tomoe's hands now. "Well, if She's not a king anymore... well, I guess that makes it 4 then." Yusugi, Laura, Ree and Yatagarasu. "What do we do about Gureen then? I doubt he's just gonna let Ahura waltz inside Angra Mainyu without a fight." As much as he just wanted to go find Shizuka now... he couldn't just abandon the rest, even if he couldn't do much in the end. They all overpowered him easily, and Gureen wasn't going to be any different."Don't worry about us, Ahura-sama. Just go kick Yachiru's sorry ass. We're with you, in spirit, every step of the way."

| ((Sorry, guys. Been busy. I’m just going to leave this here))
Naomi could feel herself screaming internally from a mixture of excitement and frustration. Her face was burning up from the affection Yata had shown. On the other hand, it was flaming from his insistence on running into danger. She couldn’t blame him thugh. It meant there was something he had to do, and she was proud of him. Although, she was angry that he would run off by himself. And he went and denied her gift! She had wanted to give him that for so long! Oh, well… It was just one more reason she would have to get them both out of this situation. Even if she barely knew what was going on; aside from a world consuming monster treating several universes like his own personal buffet.
When Ree went off on her own, Naomi would sigh. She did not appreciate being left behind like this. Still, it just meant she had to chase after Yata. Again. She would pick up her feet in run in the direction he had left in. Of course, she didn’t have a cool power to leave with like Yata or Ree did. She made a note to herself that she needed one.
“What the…” She would cover her eyes with her hand at the sight, “Blinding light of death. Why?” She didn’t even need to be that close to see the light. She really did not like this situation… But it was what it was and she had to live with it. She would only s drop her hand when she stopped.
It seems she was not the first to make it. There were a lot of people gathered around. Naomi knew none of them, aside from Yata. Of course, she would know Jin too, but she wasn;t paying attention to him. Though, there was also a woman who looked very similar to Naie and another man. And she seemed to bring a little girl with her. Naomi’s eyes widened at the girl who was hugging Yata when she showed up. Her hands moved over her mouth as she approached them.
Her eyes wandered down toward the girl as she stopped slightly further away from the two of them. Her body heated up and she felt like she was on fire. It took everything she had not to squeal at the moment she walked in on. It was so cute. She was adorable. Naomi could barely contain her desire to go up and hug the girl (and Yata), but this seemed like their moment. She would let them have it and then spoil the cutie rotten later.
She would only look away when Ree rejoined them with another new woman. Everyone that showed up was just going to be someone else. Was everyone gathering for this moment? It seemed like the time if they were going to. She would shrug. She really was lost. It was okay though. She could deal with it. She was just happy that she had Yata back and that he found what he was looking for. At least, she assumed that’s what was happening.

| Kahn was suddenly blinded by the light, and he shielded his eyes the best he could. He blinked several times, after it faded. "Ow...my eyes..." He mumbled rubbing his eyes after a few moments. He looked up to see the arrival of a few new people, there was a skater boy, who was evidently the fifth king that they had been trying to talk down this entire time. Considering how he wasn't drawing a weapon or anything, it was officially confirmed that he was no longer hostile. He had next to him, a woman who Kahn didn't really know or recognize. Fortunately, Soki arrived with Four who was acting like a little child.
Kahn felt another burden removed from his shoulders, seeing that the Fourth King was alive, even at the end of the world...everything was looking up. They'd get through this somehow. Granted, the whole god ending reality thing was a bit of a downer. When Soki explained that they needed the kings to open a pathway. He then looked toward Tomoe...Ahura? Shielding his face from the light, "I'm sure we can figure something out, we didn't come this far to let Yachiru get what he wants. So if you have to go then go, we'll be with you every step of the way. No matter what happens, we'll be behind you. But first..."
He looked back toward Soki, "Alright so we need more kings then? How many do we need? Because we need to hurry up and get Tomoe going, I can't imagine we have more time to spare. It's go time, and we gotta hit the ground running." The red haired young man said, looking around...he was hoping that perhaps there were a few more who were willing. Though the second king, third king, and fifth king were here...where was the Seventh Phalanx when you needed him?

| Soki looked towards Kahn with a tired smile. They certainly were running out of time here. The silver haired woman would tap her cheek as she answered his question. "Well, we have all we need right here. It takes Five Kings; so let's mark them off. We have Yusugi, the Second King, the Third King, Yatagarasu... and... " The woman directed her eyes towards the purple haired "princess" that had tried to isolate herself from the rest. "That young woman there. If my theory is correct; together they should be able to open the way for Ahura Mazda. But leaving us all to die.. That sounds interesting to me. I've never experienced death in its purest form, so this could be very good for my research." The Tsurinai mused to herself before pulling Valentine over by his sleeve. "And you will become my assistant. You're simply brilliant for your age. How I wish my brother would have followed my footsteps; maybe he would have been more like you." | |
