Yatagarasu's eyes would slowly shift to the woman that had approached him in his thoughts. She had mentioned fireworks, and his eyes narrowed in suspicion. The only two people he knew that had any interest in fireworks were Four and his own brother, Mikoto. This random woman coming up to him and mentioning these things confused him. He hadn't seen her before, so he figured she was one of the unlucky bastards dragged into this world while the God destroyed them all. As she spoke to him, he continued to watch and pondered. Who the hell was she?

A Trade to Die For - Page 2 Tumblr_static_tumblr_static_tumblr_inline_mijck6uui31rg5htt

When she mentioned his name, he was even more suspicious. Maybe she was one of those bastards who killed Four? OR maybe she knew an alternate reality version of himself. Regardless, he didn't care. The Wild Crow walked right pass her and headed back to the area where he had the trade with the blonde bastard. As he walked by her, he didn't give her another glance. "Shoo, fly: Don't bother me. You're obviously some deranged woman from another reality. I've never met you in my life, so you got the wrong guy."

And with that said, he'd walk by the silver haired woman that surprisingly looked like Soki. Was this an alternate reality version of her too? What a pain in the ass. Atleast all of this would be over soon.

"Then I ask you to try, Mojii," he told the murderer curtly, "After her, I also wish to speak with this Vera. Can you do that?"

Jin wanted to talk to the Third King and by extension, this girl he heard about. He didn't exactly know her full story. But clearly she was on the King's side and was connected to Yatagarasu. Out of some of these Kings, he felt this one was the one he knew the least other than the First King.

He took out a cigarette and started lighting it. Once his was done, he offered a stick that was poking out of the small carton to Aburai. After being beat up by a kid and being stuck in this nightmarish scenario, maybe a smoke would be great.

"What's their situation right now?" he asked the two boys, "If they can move, then tell them to assist the teams fighting Angra Mainyu. They'll need all the firepower they could get."

He glanced over towards Kirito and nodded, "The same goes for you too, dear. Please meet up with Natashi and Anya."

"Hm? He's there too? That's good to hear. And yes, we're mobilizing soon, so any supplies you have could come in handy. Anyway, what happened? Why is he beat up?" Caestus asked Anya. At least he seemed to be in good shape despite that, but still... if he got beat up... did that mean Yatagarasu or some of the other kings tried to capture him too? "Regardless, you guys need to meet up with the rest in front of the courtyard. They'll need all the firepower they can get. The next couple of hours will be determining whether we succeed or fail..." He'd sigh deeply. "I'll keep in touch in case anything happens on our end or if plans change. Just..." He paused for a moment. "Be careful, alright? The worlds are merging, and who knows what could show up at any given time." He'd finish the call there with a simple: "I need to go. Call if anything unexpected happens, alright?" Caestus awaited her response before hanging up.

"They're both alive and well at the moment. Natashi is a bit beat up, but it's nothing severe. I think his pride is hurt more, judging by what Anya was saying."

He stared at the phone's screen for a moment, before folding it and shoving the yellow device in his pocket again. The less he needed to use that "contraption", the better. "Anyway, Jin... What's our next move? Do we sit here and wait for Yatagarasu... or...?" Caestus looked at Jin with a slightly raised eyebrow.

Kahn listened to Natashi's questions and statement of where he was,"Yes, Hibiki is safe, and he is currently in one of the team's fighting Angaru, which is where we need you to be, we need as much firepower as possible. But be careful, this thing is going to be very difficult to defeat, and stay safe. Head to the front yard, and people will help you find a team. Once again, stay safe and be careful. If things change down here, we'll keep you posted." The red haired young man said, before glancing around a bit keeping an eye out for Yatagarasu.

"I've gotta go, the person we're looking for could be back at any moment, and I gotta be ready to handle them. So I'll keep you updated, and if something goes terribly wrong, you can call me, I'll see what we can do about it." The young man said, before closing up the phone, and looking toward Jin.

"So now we look for Yatagarasu? The sooner we find him the better in my own opinion, people's lives are on the line and I would rather not lose anyone else if we can help it." The young man said, not to mention he had something to say to this individual, if this other red head was looking for revenge, Kahn could understand and perhaps this was the time for the formal apology

A Trade to Die For - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Trade to Die For    A Trade to Die For - Page 2 EmptyThu Dec 31, 2015 1:26 am

When Yata said he’d never seen her in his life, Naomi’s eyes would widen and her sight would fall to the ground. Inside, she felt many emotions stirring. Most of them were some form of sadness, others were anger, but one of them was confusion, “From another reality? Yes. Deranged? Not at all.” She looked up again and shifted her attention toward the boy who was walking away from her, “You know, that hurts about as much as the time you called me a freak. Maybe even a little more.” She clenched her fists at her side and continued talking, “I know it’s been a year since you left, but…”

She had to hold herself back from her default reaction. She wanted him to listen to what she was saying. She didn’t need a fight right now. She followed after him. She had to say it. If not now, then she would never get to, “If you forgot everything in a year, I’d be really disappointed in you. You left without telling anyone what was going on or where you were going. You know, the last time we spoke, you made it sound like you were going to be around for a long time. I didn’t think you’d just vanish.” Did he even plan that, or was it spur of the moment, “If you’re not the Yatagarasu that I met at the fireworks shop, who I watched gain his Persona, or that taught me how to skateboard, who wanted to burn down the world and start anew, who got flustered when he was teased of having an indirect kiss with me, kicked my sorry butt when we skated against each other, or who told me not to get myself killed… then I would be almost tempted to pity you.”

Almost being the key word, “But the Yata I know hates to be pitied. So instead, I just feel sorry for you throwing away the people who cared about you and who you were close to. I feel sorry for us too. Obviously, you never really cared about us or the time we spent together. Maybe that’s why it was so easy for you to leave Azores without another thought.” She chuckled under her breath. It was a sad, bitter chuckle, “I may have been wrong, but back then, I thought you wanted to protect the things you loved. Even if you were bad at showing it and saying what you wanted, you seemed to really care about your friends to the point of them being family, you cared about fireworks and your brother, it seemed like you loved that skatepark, too…”

Why was she talking so much? It’s not like she was planning to stay silent when they met, but this isn't what she had wanted to originally say. What she wanted to say, was something much different. Maybe, there was still a way to say it, “Why did you leave, anyway? And what are you here for now?” She wanted to know, “If this is who you are now though, then I’ll learn to care about him too. After all, if you remember or not, you are still Yata. You’re still the guy I met and who was important to me. That’s true, no matter what happens.” It was true. No matter how much he tried, he could never abandon his past. It would always be part of him, even if he didn't remember. She finally moved from his side and went back to Naie. She tried to hide it, but she was trembling. She just needed someone to help her calm down. Naie was all she had right now. Before she was out of range, she would have one last thing to say, “And it’s not fly. It’s Buggy. You gave me the name, so at least have the decency to use it, Yatagarasu the Great.” If he didn’t remember, she would do it for him. All the small things he forgot and all the things that mattered to her.

A Trade to Die For - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Trade to Die For    A Trade to Die For - Page 2 EmptyThu Dec 31, 2015 1:25 pm

Yatagarasu was taken back by the entirety of this. This person who came here to remind him of his old life when he burned it from his memories. The moment he regained Amatsu Mikaboshi was the moment his old life had ended. He wanted to forget about that old world of his altogether. The fun, the laughs, the excitement, and even the ones he loved. When he left Azores, he had a feeling deep in the pit of his stomach that he wouldn't be going back. That was alright to him; because Souka was sure to get him stronger. But even after training with Three and steeling himself; he was still too weak to do anything on his own. That's when he secretly came to a conclusion within himself. The thing that held him back was the small ounce of hope that he'd one day return home from this. That he had a home to go back to to begin with. Once Four was taken from him it became painfully clear that this was his new reality, and what happened here would affect him in more ways than one.

The final tipping point was when he finally had one of the killers before him. That heartfelt cry was just what he needed to hear before killing him off. Now they could feel how it meant to lose a comrade; but that wasn't enough. He wanted them to be begging for Angra Mainyu when he was through with them. Only then would he feel content with the life he lived. And everything was going so well until this damn ghost of the past arrived. Even if Amatsu Mikaboshi burned the memories away; it couldn't burn away the emotions that encompassed those very memories. Before he knew it, the young red head felt something moving down the right side of his face. Raising a hand, he touched his cheek to wipe away a single tear that escaped his eye. He couldn't help but continue to stare at it for the time being in utter disbelief.

A Trade to Die For - Page 2 Tumblr_nnf92dEBYo1sg1ksjo1_500

"It's too late for me, Naomi. It's way too late. You shouldn't have come here."

Yatagarasu regained his composure while giving a feint smile towards Buggy. Though the majority of his memories of her were gone, he could tell she was not lying about their experiences together. Though, he couldn't go back to that world. He couldn't turn his back to the Kings, or to Four's death. Then a thought flashed through his head. Not a thought of his own, but perhaps a thought pushed by Amatsu Mikaboshi itself. The Persona was previously ordered to remove anything from Yatagarasu's past that would waver him. This girl was a part of that past, and as such the Persona wished to kill her for its master. To atleast give the Wild Crow peace of mind before the world came to a complete end. The last things he needed were distractions.

Sora placed a hand on his head as he gave a crooked smirk. "If you really want me to go back with you, then do me a favor. Help me kill the ones responsible for killing one of my friends here. Family help each other right? If she's my family, then isn't she yours aswell?" His attitude had returned to what he was before her speech. If successful, he could kill two birds with one stone.

"Don't you have your own phone? Try contacting them yourself. I'm moving Nola to safety." Aburai would suddenly say while taking the teacher in his hands. It had been so long since he had seen her after the incidents of the past. He had given them all to contact others with their phone. The issue was if the people wanted to talk back to them. If they didn't, they wouldn't answer, obviously. It wasn't as if Aburai didn't want to help him, it was more along the fact that they now had the power to do what they were asking for. With this God glaring down upon them, he did not want to risk Nola being endangered again. "You can always make the call; just envision who you want to speak to and Dhumavati will do the rest. However, it's their choice if they want to talk back to you. I doubt the Kings want to waste words on us if they have their own mess to deal with." And with those final words, Aburai carried Nola away from the scene and back to where Anya and Natashi were currently located. Kirito followed behind Aburai after wishing the others luck on their situation there.

Meanwhile as Natashi spoke to the group, he'd respond plainly in regards to Anya on the front lines. "Anya will not be going. I'll meet them, but Anya and Kirito will remain on stand by. This is incase something goes terribly wrong. All our forces being in one place is asking for trouble. This is not up for debate." The playful man spoke in a serious tone for once on the other side of the phone. Whether he was attempting to keep Anya and Kirito safe, or simply didn't want them in the way, was up in the air. However, he chose to head over to where he was needed himself.

--------

A Trade to Die For - Page 2 Sg0kns

The Third King had been getting the calls on her device, but she refused to answer herself. She currently stood on the branch of a tree with Mikoto sitting beside her. They seemed to both be watching the situation with Yatagarasu and this mysterious new female that arrived. Mikoto seemed to know exactly who she was, but the Third King hadn't seen her a day in her life. It made sense, though. It made perfect sense. Mikoto was from a reality where Yatagarasu died and he survived. That meant those Yatagarasu met, he had met in his place. There was a chance this woman was a friend of his or an acquaintance. Regardless, Mikoto watched the seen with an indifferent face. The Brother wanted to see just how far his sibling would go for revenge. Would he honestly use this woman for his deeds?

As they continued to watch, Ree's King insignia on her wrist began to burn. Her dark eyes shifted up towards the peak of the tower, and she placed a hand on Mikoto's arm. "The First King is in action, Mikoto. Things are reaching the finale. Should we interrupt while we still have the chance?" She asked while grasping the hilt of her blade. The Red head, however; only shook his head. "We can't force Yatagarasu to see the light, Ree. But we can guide him once he does. Let him be a man and make his own decision for now. We'll move in once he makes his move. I still have hope for my brother."

---

When Naomi came to her trembling, Naie would hold her and look towards Yatagarasu with puffed cheeks. "Hey, don't you see she cares about you? Naomi-chan loves you, don't you love her back? She came call this way because you're important to her." The silver haired woman was ready to lay into the teen before seeing a tear fall from his eye. This caused her to reel back abit and watch as he wiped his cheek. There was definitively some kind of inner conflict going on within him at the moment. She wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing; but the final line he told Naomi took her off guard. Help avenge someone a friend of his? Naie was speechless.. What would Naomi do?

So he left anyway and not much to offer in terms of help, but at least the power to communicate was still there for what's it worth. Kirito left with him as well. It would just be the demon and the two boys with him. Jin thought about the call and what Aburai said earlier.

He tried it anyway in the way that Aburai had suggested. But no one took the call. With a look of annoyance, he simply hung up and put his phone back into his pocket. There was no time to be wasted as Angra Mainyu was summoned. To call anymore would just simply waste more time than it would help. For whatever it is worth, it would be better to forego that plan.

"We move," Jin nodded at both of them in affirmative and had words for his whole team, "He can't be too far away at this point. Remember, as a reminder, we cannot kill anyone or begin combat. It only serves to strengthen Angra Mainyu. We must try to solve things diplomatically, but if combat breaks out, do not fight to kill or maim. At least incapacitate him."

There was nothing else to be said right now. There was little time to waste.

"Caestus, you saw where the boy and the scientist left. Lead us."

He gestured everyone to follow the ASSW. When the individual started to move, so would he and likely everyone else.

OOC: It took a post for Sora and Soki to move on over to the back, so I guess we'll arrive within the next round of posts.

"Alrighty then. That we can do, surely. We have to." Caestus answered Jin with a nod. Where was this confidence coming from? Could it even be called confidence? Their backs were against the wall here. There was only one thing they could do now, and failure was not an option. With so many lives on the line here... The coming hours would be very decisive.

A Trade to Die For - Page 2 Heiwajima.Shizuo.full.194068
"Very well then. Are you two ready?"

He asked Kahn and Jin. He sure was. Caestus was ready to die for the sake of the world... Sure, Shizuka would probably miss him, but... it was a small price to pay. In the grand scheme of things, what did his own life matter compared to hers anyway? He was just a robot. A machine who's main purpose was to kill, maim and destroy... He didn't want that anymore. Assuming he survived this whole mess, he'd take that chance to start anew. Perhaps staying around here, with the people he had met during this catastrophe... Now that was a future worth fighting for. "Let's do this, gentlemen." With those final words, he turned around, and showed the other two the path over to where Yatagarasu had gone prior... "Soon, Shizuka... Hang on just a little longer... We're almost done here."

Alright it was time to get this show on the road, not like they had much of a choice considering all the events going on. He nodded his head, "Right not killing anyone and avoiding combat from our side should not be a problem. It's just whether or not the other side is willing to hear us out, if they are then things go smoothly if not...then we might have to take defensive action. By that I mean...try not to hurt him as much as possible unless it's a last resort. I'm cool with that too." The young man said as he gave Caestus a nod of affirmation, "I'm ready if you two are, just lead on. I'll be right behind you."

The red haired young man would follow his new friend, they had to do this and with his new power...there was no way he would allow what they foresaw if he could help it. This was their once chance to prevent it and this was the team to do it. Kahn wasn't sure how yet, but he had to trust in themselves and the others...he didn't want anyone to die if he could help it. He just had to trust in himself, in his friends, and in Tomoe, he had quite a bit of trust in her. They would all get through this alive, if he had anything to say about it.

A Trade to Die For - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Trade to Die For    A Trade to Die For - Page 2 EmptySat Jan 02, 2016 1:20 am

All the hair on Naomi’s body would stand up suddenly as she quickly moved her finger in front of her mouth to shoosh Naie, “Don’t tell him that. I haven’t even said it yet.” Her entire face would glow beat red. She went from trembling to complete embarrassment in as much time as it took to blink. Her entire frame would stand still in shock when he said her name. She would look back at him in awe. Her Yata really was in there. Even if she had said she would learn to care about who he was now, she was glad part of who she knew was still in there. She looked back toward Naie. Her eyes were sturdy. She needed Naie to understand that what she was about to do was something she needed to do alone. Well, not alone. Just on her own, so she could reach Yata with what she wanted to say.

She stepped closer to him again, shaking her head, “What are you talking about? It’s never too late. I don’t know what happened to you since you left, but it doesn’t change anything. I had to come find you eventually. It just sucks it was at such a bad time.” She loved that smile of his. Though, she wished it was not so pained. She didn’t know what was going on with him right now, but it was deep inside of him. Something she couldn’t understand. Something that made him different, “Did you expect me to just be content with you leaving like that?” If he remembered anything about her, he should have recalled that she didn’t take his shit, “Besides, there are things we need to talk about.” So many things.

When he voiced his request to her, Naomi would finally close the distance between them completely. She would reach for the hand that wasn’t being held against his head and grasp it between both of her own. If he pulled away at any point so she couldn’t, she would simply stand with her hands at her side, “Yata…” She could see it. The attitude change from one moment to another. For a brief moment, he was the same as a year ago, and then he was gone, “Tell me what’s wrong… What’s happened over this past year?” It wasn’t confirmation or denial of his request. She needed to know what was running through his head. What had he seen that made him this way? She wanted to reach him. If he had let her grab his hand earlier, she would lead it to the side of her face. She was trusting him right now. He could be kind or hurt her badly and she couldn’t stop it at this range. It was her way of saying she meant to be there for him. Maybe he wouldn’t understand what she was doing, or maybe he would. The point was, she was putting so much faith in him right now, “Please…” She could feel it. Something was wrong. She just didn't know what.

Vera would be waiting at the side of the tower, in a position between the User group and Yatagarasu's side. She stood against the wall as the user group would be coming her way. When they were in view, she stepped forward to stop them from advancing any further. It was obvious they were headed towards Yatagarasu. She was more interested in how things were going to play out with him. The Ice Princess didn't feel as if they would contribute anything to the conversation going on at the moment, so she figured she'd slow them down properly.

"I'm going to have to ask you all to turn around, or wait here. If you're looking for Yatagarasu, he'll come to you when he's ready." Vera spoke with a very passive tone, but stood her ground like a tree rooted to its soil. She felt like it wasn't worth threatening them, however she would gauge their reaction to the situation. "Will you comply? If not, then I suppose..."

Her hands went behind her back but other than this, she remained the same.

Yatagarasu would instinctively grab her wrist and keep her hand from touching him. She was getting way too close to him, and it was only asking for Amatsu Mikaboshi to burn her. Maybe for her own protection, the Wild Crow took a step away. "I just told you. Some murdering bastards killed my friend. Until I get proper revenge, the Yatagarasu you know is dead. They have stolen someone important to me, and their debt MUST. BE. PAID." The last few words caused the temperature to raise around the teen slightly. Honestly, the more he talked about it, the more pissed he was getting. All this affection and love was not going to bring Four back. But would bloodshed aswell? Even he knew the answer to that, but that was all he had now. That was the only thing he could do to make it up to Four for letting them hurt her to begin with. He had been through this situation more than one, and he was tired of it. So to fix this, he would burn it all. Burn it all away so he wasn't reminded of what happened to her.

"Naomi, you're either with me or against me. If you really want things to go back to the way there were before, then help me. If you don't, then stay out of my way." With that said, the skater turned from her and began to make his way back to where the trade took place. Speaking to her like that took way too long. He was working off a schedule here. He didn't want Angra Mainyu to be the death of them. He wanted to kill them himself; which was why he was so adamant on getting this done now. However, when he felt the King insignia begin to burn on his chest, he knew things were soon coming to an end. His amber eyes looked up towards the tower's peak and he sucked his teeth. The First King was engaging someone in combat and drawing out all his power. That monster wasn't even human... Perhaps Yatagarasu envied that.

"Sora, that's enough!" Ree had left her spot and made her way to Yatagarasu's front. She could no longer watch him treat his friends in such a way. Especially someone who seemed to love him as much as she did: or perhaps even more. The Third King did not know Sora before his time in Ueitawa, but she knew he was a good kid with a bad history. His mental instability was caused by his parents death by his own hands, most likely. She had known the truth behind the fire of that night. It wasn't a freak accident, it was Yatagarasu's Persona surfacing for the first time, and him losing control over it. Somewhere in the back corners of his mind he must have removed that memory, but the Fourth King found it. She found it and she still loved him regardless. The same went for Ree, and Mikoto. Things only continued to go downward when he was brought into an orphanage with his brother and used as experiments. Ree knew all too well the pain of such trials. After all, she also had a painful past of experimentation. The scars left on her body was no different than the ones on his own. But he made it through them with his brother... Until Mikoto was murdered, that is. His body tossed in a lake after a hit and run.

There we so many things to cause such a fragile state of mind, and coming here did not help that. Four's death sent him over the deep end, and she feared he could never come back. But there was that boy she met the first time still in there. He was so close to coming out, but something was keeping him locked away.

"That Persona is twisting your thoughts against yourself and your loved ones, Sora. Take full control of it and stop blaming yourself for Four's death. It was not your fault, and the responsibility of her death does not fall only upon you. If I must, I will crush that Persona to free your psyche from its grasp." As the woman stated this, she raised her blade and steadied it before her. She didn't wish to harm Yatagarasu, but if he wouldn't end this peacefully then she'd have to beat some sense into him. Something that should have been done a long time ago. An older sister sometimes had to punish their siblings when they stepped out of bounds, and she took this job from Mikoto. That read head was too busy keeping an eye on Vera to make sure she was okay. He felt partially responsible for her being mixed into this, so he'd make sure she wasn't hurt at all costs.

Naie continued to watch the scene with a hand over her mouth. She didn't want to say anything that would set Naomi off or embarrass her again. But boy was this young guy such a pain. She wondered if Destine had a rebellious streak like this when he was younger? For some reason, the thought made her cheeks flush alittle red.

”Stop,” he called upon his group to stop moving upon seeing her lone figure, ”It appears we meet again. Vera, was it?”

Jin had expected that they would meet up with Yatagarasu first, maybe with Soki and Four in tow. But, now? It looked like one of the few people he wanted to call upon was here. Whether this was good or bad, it would depend in the next few moments. But he found himself frowning at her as she asked them to wait. This was quite the predicament. They were running out of time with Angra Mainyu here. But to hear that Yatagarasu would come to them, it was something of interest to note. He crossed his arms and studied her for a moment. She wasn’t here to fight, no, if Kirito’s words were accurate. But she was definitely here to stop them if needed, especially for this Yatagarasu. This was complicated. But for now he would—

”You must be aware that we’re running short on time. Will you tell me what is his situation right now? We only wish to talk with him, not to fight him or even cause any harm,” Jin spoke again as he let a puff of smoke to waft out of his lips.

To give her even more signs of his honesty, Jin let the cigarette drop from his lips and crushed it underfoot, extinguishing it. Now, he couldn’t pull his little ‘disappearing’ trick that she likely would be aware about back in his battle with the Second King. But for now, they wouldn’t dare to cause any conflict here too. It would only be detrimental to their chances for victory.

”So as long as he’s coming to us, then we’re willing to wait… for now. During this duration, would you also mind telling us your side of the story? I am a recent newcomer, as you likely would have guessed. I wish to be more informed on what’s going on as of this moment. Especially on why you kidnapped Shibuya.”

He grimaced a little on the last part. Out of anyone working for Yachiru, Vera was the one that interested him the most. She was a little enigma to the former teacher and he wanted to understand her place in all of this. Jin continued to look at her, expecting a response from her.

”And if it isn’t an issue, could you tell me where the Third King and Yatagarasu’s brother are at right now?”
