This place was so boring. Why was he here again? It was easy to forget that there was even a reason. Regardless of it, however, this wasn't any entertaining. There wasn't even a flying plane around. And they were no use on the ground...

One-way to battle [Jerry] TH7ovjC

''Tsk...''

Happy or not, for now, the strange man seemed to be sitting up on the edge of the main building's roof, a good 6 meters above the ground, staring down towards the large landing space for the planes. An odd thing to do indeed, but he seemed to not be bothered by the fact that his position could be dangerous....

So... Her tour of the world was finally over... Mae was sitting on the plane on her way back to Azores from California... Had she known just how stressful the tour would be, she would probably not have gone on it at the moment, but... it had been worth it. She spent her life doing what her past self loved the most, and what she loved to do in return... After the death of her old self, Mae felt much more... free... And what was even better... nobody seemed to realise that this Mae was in fact not the one they used to know, even if her demeanour changed slightly. Anyone who had known the ins and outs of the old Mae would've noticed the difference right away. So, she had stayed away from Sharaku for quite a while... That man knew the past Mae so well it was almost creepy... How the girl held any feelings for him was beyond her... After all, had they even been legit? That was one thing Shadow Mae didn't really know all that well... A secret her doppelgänger took with her.

The small, private jet eventually landed, and Mae stepped out, followed by a couple of bodyguards. Not that she really needed them... It was more for her public image than anything else... And of course, dealing with pesky paparazzi and such. That they did a remarkably good job of. It would be easy to spot her, even from afar, due to her naturally pink hair that stood out like a sore thumb in any crowd...

People-watching would be more fun if something was actually happening. Or maybe he was just bored in general, and this wasn't enough to lift his mood enough to be noticeable. Not even a new plane arriving. Well, maybe it would, had he not gotten disturbed around that time. This was one of the moment where he would actually prefer people to be bland. But no, the airport staff obviously didn't like a person hanging out high up on their roof. Hmmmm, was there a rule against that? Oh well. Even if there was, it wasn't like he truly cared. Didn't want to, that is. However, ignoring being told to get down was not the soundest action to take. It wouldn't be long enough for someone to get up there and try to get him off in person.

Such annoyance. Already irritated enough, the Shadow would scowl at the staff dude, showing a bit of sharp fangs, and after a short moment on consideration, he would swiftly move over to the disturbance. He definitely didn't seem in the mood to have a discussion over this as he simply grabbed the man and dragged him over to his original spot at the edge. ''Hey! What are you..?'' ''Not in the mood for your yapping. Maybe I should drop you off the roof for interrupting me.'' ''You wouldn't-!'' Quite the wrong assumption however, as the golden eyed man seemed serious about this. Even quite amused, as he held the guy very close to the end of the roof. Close enough to actually fall if there was nothing holding him back...

So much for a peaceful day...this was sure to cause some commotion once people noticed someone flailing about up there alongside the company, and the guy wasn't exactly quiet either. Did the other care? It didn't really appear so...

Mae looked up once she heard the shouting coming from above... Wait... She recognized that person holding up the security guard... "Sharaku...? What's he doing here?" It's been a couple of months since she saw him... or rather, since the old Mae saw him... she had done her best to avoid the shadow weapon... But even the shadow realised that this was not something Sharaku would do... Holding someone over a 6 meter drop was no laughing matter. Actually... he was the last person she wanted to see right now... and yet here he was. "Miss, What are you doing?!" One of her bodyguards shouted as Mae ran inside, looking for a way to get up on the roof... Even if she was a shadow, a part of her was still curious as to why he was doing this... She pushed herself through the crowd and guards alike, losing her own bodyguards in the process. Eventually, she made it up on the roof, behind Sharaku. "Sharaku...? What are you doing here?" Something felt off... Aside from his abnormal behaviour... Not that she really cared for what he did to the man. Sharaku could drop him off the roof for all she cared... What had changed him so...?

Golden eyes flickered to look towards the source of a new voice as he turned his head, promptly raising an eyebrow. Her? Well, what a lucky day. Maybe this wasn't about to be so boring anymore. Besides, testing whether a human would go splat if dropped from a height of 6 meters was just something to pass time since he was getting annoyed by this ruckus. It wouldn't be a lot of fun once over. ''I'm doing what I feel like. What's it to you?'', he would respond in a somewhat taunting manner. ''It's their fault for irritating me just because I was sitting up here.'' His tone was a bit flat at this one, before he smirked faintly.

''Why are you here though? I don't remember asking you for the company.''

"Tch... When did you become so stand off-ish?" She said with a frown, barely paying attention to the man yelling his lungs out at her. She'd only respond to him with a cold stare, before returning her attention to Sharaku... "What, can't I go see an old friend? It's been a while, dear." She'd say with a playful tone, before gritting her teeth at the very end. Why did he tick her off so...? Perhaps it was just the tone of his voice, or something else... Regardless, this wasn't a happy reunion to say the least. Meeting up with one's ex was never really something you could consider "Fun"... This bond she shared with him thanks to her past self was... sickening her. Why would she like such an ungrateful bastard? Well, now would be a good time to settle this once and for all... She didn't want anything to do with him anymore. It was better for her if Sharaku just... "Dissapeared" out of her life for good.

She summoned her soulbound weapon, and dropped a small box on the floor from her bag. The tiny thing caused a bubble to burst forth, covering an area around the two of them about 25 Meters in size, covering most of the roof... Within this bubble, personas and powers in general could be used... She always carried this tiny little box with her in case someone wanted to attack her. A bright flash of light burst forth from Mae's hand, summoning her red spear, the Scarlet Storm. Her first fight in a good 6 months... Of course she was rusty... but she was confident that she could take Sharaku on... After all, she was not who she used to be.

The man would narrow his eyes in amusement. ''And when did you become so cold? Back then, you would have cared even about this poor guy, would you have not? At least, I assume so.'' He seemed certain enough, however. He would opt to not react to the following taunt, his gaze more focused on what she was doing by that point. A fight, eh? Is that what she wanted? How amusing. But she was lucky, he'd guess. He would fight simply for the kicks, but that couldn't be said about the other him, had she chosen to challenge that one.

''How bold. But I'm game.'', he would snort, his eyes still kept on her sharply as he waved his free hand in front of himself. As a result, just a moment later, the girl would find out that she suddenly can't see what is around her well, as if everything became very blurry. Maybe it was a sort of jerk move to start with, but she was the one bursting in here and demanding a duel out of nowhere. So she would get one, but he'd set the terms. Unfortunately for her, he could still follow her movements quite well, despite the screwed vision affecting him too. If there was something he could do well, it was keeping an eye on his target with precision.

Immediately after, his appearance would change as he gained fangs, claws, alongside a tail and his hair becoming thick fur. Right around that moment, he would also tug on the guy he'd been holding with his other hand, taking a few steps forward for the momentum, and tossing him towards the girl, using him as an attempt to knock her off her feet while she was still working out the sight issues. Or at least distract her in some way. With that done, he would move to circle around her, keeping an approximate 10 meter distance from her at the moment while he cast another spell with a flick of his hand, this time on her specifically...

"GAAH!" Mae flinched the moment everything started becoming blurry for her... It was like wearing someone else's glasses to her... and he weakened her too it would seem... Gah. It wasn't looking good, but... it could've been worse, that much she had to admit. "Let's go, YAZI!"

One-way to battle [Jerry] 4463086_350

The shadowy dragon sprung forth from Mae, roaring loudly, as black flames began to spew out from it's mouth, only to form three, large sun-like objects, 3 meters in diameter around Mae. The one in front of her she launched forward instinctively, incinerating the man Sharaku had thrown at her, leaving only ashes behind, and the other two started circling around her, Mae always being between the two... They would last for about a minute or two before exploding in black plumes of fire, reaching 5 meters away from the miniature suns themselves were located... Mae, of course, would remain unharmed by these flames... Any magical attacks weaker than her own would weer away into the balls themselves, triggering their explosive blasts earlier. This was her speciality... Sun Skills.

The fiery brightness danced across his vision, and he gave a light whistle as she incinerated the guard guy on the spot. How ruthless. He didn't throw the guy from the roof right away back then when he could, but she sure didn't even hesitate to make some ashes. There were two more glowing objects, however. Hmm, not moving though. Was she using them from protection while she couldn't see properly? Smart move, but that would only work if they were strong enough to keep him at distance. Mabye it was time to test that...

With a think smirk, he would stop his circling around sharply, directing his movements towards her and her fireballs swiftly, at the same time summoning a strong gale of whirling winds around himself, helping him move even faster on top of the debuff she was under right now. He would proceed to run towards her, the winds exploding in a powerful whirl around him that reached 20 meters in radius, and a good 12 meters in height, once he was within 2 meters of her and the fireballs. He wouldn't stop, however, and ran after the wind, which would cloud her vision even more as it blew everywhere, basically rushing at her right after the gale, whether it made hit or not. The moment he was close enough, he would reach out with his right hand in an attempt to claw hard across her face, akin to a slap with blades, following it with a diagonal slash from her shoulder down to her hip, and another one cross her abdomen right after. In case he made hits, he would make a move to step backwards, putting a distance of about 5 meters between them. In an event that she retaliated and kept him busy, he would attempt to deal with that...

Things certainly wasn't looking good. He blew through her miniature suns with ease, she could feel that. So, in an attempt to escape taking damage, Mae blasted the part of the roof she was standing on with a small, but powerful burst of heat, enough to melt a Mae-sized hole beneath her, reaching into the airport itself, which she slid into using her small, and nimble body, avoiding the entire attack. The hole itself is rather warm, so touching the warm edges would pass the effect of the skill used, although, no direct damage would be dealt. Her persona vanished within her subconsious as well. She didn't know what he was going to do after his wind attack, as by the time he reached her, Mae had allready fallen through the hole. Once down there, she would reach out for one of the supportive beams holding up the rest of the ceiling, heaving herself up on that, not far away from the hole she had made using her Searing Shot. With a foe this strong, she couldn't just rely on brute force to win... She actually had to fight cleverly, as she couldn't stand a chance against him head on. Well, she brought this on herself. She wouldn't run away from this, even though now would be a prime opportunity to do so. She wasn't a coward. She just had to approach this differently...

Golden eyes would narrow as she went and burned a hole through the roof to avoid his blast. Well, she had the smarts at least, but she better not hope he wouldn't follow her. Undoubtedly, she must have some other ways of offense, and he would rather not allow her the time to strike back at him if he could avoid it. He would eye the hole with a snort once he stopped right before it, and using his sharp claws to destroy the edges more so he could drop down as well, being a bit larger than the girl, obviously, while she only made a hole suited for herself. Regardless, he would jump down himself not too long after her, although, he would not aim to hold himself up by anything, doing a free fall towards the ground. Once he was maybe half a meter below her position, he would send another fierce blow of wind towards her and the ceiling from the midair. It would cover a width around 20 meters, which she probably couldn't avoid to the side with her current debuff. And since it went from under her upwards, it would attempt to literally smash her up against the ceiling with the force of the swirling winds, which could even knock her out in case of a succesful hit.

After launching the wave, he would let himself fall down completely, settling on the ground in a crouch and pushing himself back up with the help of recoil force, aiming to jump back towards the ceiling after his attack, to follow after his attack, and make sure he was close after her even if she found a way outside quick enough. Which would be hard, as trying to climb back up through teh hole they came from would certainly take more time and effort than simply dropping down, and she had limited timeframe here, plus a debuff on. And even if she tried climbing up, a part of the wind would still blow through the hole and up after her, stopped only by the parts where the ceiling was still solid.

The wind blast came suddenly, but Mae was prepared for some sort of retaliation. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't stop an attack like that herself, so she would have to resort to doing something not very fun... Letting her persona take the hit for her. Yazi appeared the instant the skill was cast, it's wings spreading out widely, covering his master completely from the blast. Two more hits like that, and he was going to vanish... But it was something she had to do... If not, she would've been knocked out, surely. The Persona's eyes would then flash brightly before a black circle appeared right underneath where Sharaku would land moments before he did so. The instant the man touched the floor, he would be swallowed by a large, gaping maw of darkness, which would chomp down on him. The jaws themeselves were 3 meters wide and 5 meters tall, snapping shut pretty quickly. If he was caught in this, he would surely take damage from the attack, regardless if the maws themselves hit him, or if he remained inside... a pretty big amount of it too... Mae remained still on her pillar, catching her breath, the debuff slowly lifting from her... She was soon back in peak condition.

The Shadow would scowl a little. Of course, she had that Persona to protect her. That made his job a good deal harder. It probably wouldn't last forever, but it's not like he could keep attacking fullforce forever either. Such an annoyance. Still, the more he could wear her out, the better, if nothing else. He would proceed to create another veil of swirling wind around him before he touched down on the ground, thus dispelling the darkness as he stomped down on it, before jumping back up as he cast another spell on himself. He would swiftly maneouver up, using the pillars themselves as a way of leverage to push upwards until he was a bit less than half a meter away from her, at which point he would make the winds still around him burst out upwards, in a similar fashion to last time, with just a small difference that the attack was launched from a somewhat smaller distance, in hopes of not giving her the time to have her Persona protect her in time.

And even if she did, she would have another problem on her hands. This was a second blow already, and the last time, her Persona shielded only her....not the construction. With such a force twice, parts holding the pillars would crumble up, and basically break under her, sending her crashing to the ground if she was too focused on avoiding his wind and found no immediate solution to this. If she didn't get hit and swept up into the ceiling, that is. Regardless of what happened, he would remain up in the air for now, thanks to the force of his wind and jumps put together.

Mae could feel the debuff vanishing from her like a pair of weights being loosened. Of course, her attack was thwarted fairly easy by Sharaku's winds, but that was sort of the point. It acted as a sort of distraction, in a sense. While Sharaku was advancing towards her, she would hop down from her pole, stabbing her soulbound into the wall, using her downward momentum to fling herself through the air. She would then repeat this process by recalling her soulbound midair, until she reached ground level, about 7-8 meters away from Sharaku the birds way. Meanwhile Mae did this, her persona, flying right with her, fired a small barrage of miniature suns, about 2 meters in diameter, and 1 meter apart from eachother, at the supporting beams and Sharaku, causing the beams to melt, along with parts of the ceiling, causing a hot cascade of molten metal to pour all over the place as her adversary reached Mae's previous position. Mae herself reached the bottom safely, keeping an eye on what Sharaku was doing. "Phew... that was close." She said as Yazi vanished back into her mind once again. That had been a close call... Now, what to do next was the question...
