| A large amount of smoke was coming from the back of a building through a small window that was open entirely, with the smoke just flying through and riding sky high. The smoke came from the oven that was just inside, where a young girl was pushing in some large fresh pieces of dough into the flames to bake. She wore a white apron with a white cap, as she walked through the hallway toward the front of the store. The store itself was small, but it was filled with different types of breads and some sweets. A young doting wife was sitting at the front, bored out of her mind, laying on her arm. "Mama! I put another fresh batch in the oven. You want me to take this shift?" Mari suggested as she removed the cap from her head. "Oi...Why don't chu call me, Kaasan. You take over your father too much." She started to complain as she flailed her arms outward and pouted. Mari sighed as she put her hands on her mothers shoulders and pushed her toward the back. She's always acted like a child, though it was probably cause it did get pretty boring around here with it's slow. She sat there waiting for someone or anyone really to arrive, maybe another dotting housewife looking for her hubby or maybe an old lady looking for directions, she chuckled to herself from the thought. | |

| The days had practically flown by since Mae's arrival. It was now almost March. She had already been here for almost two months by now. This was actually quite monumental in a way, and Mae thought she needed some sort of celebration. Come to think of it... Hadn't some of her classmates been talking about this new bakery in San Malarus that had been really successful as of late. Sure, most of her male classmates though had all been talking about the girl working there. Was talking about girls the only thing the guys in her class thought about? The girl was apparently not that old, just one year younger than Mae herself. So, now with a goal set in mind, Mae headed out of the dorms, and went to San Malarus.
Mae took out her cellphone, and looked at the GPS, trying to find her way to this bakery on her own for a change. The pinkette had gotten pretty adept at finding her way around San Malarus by now, but since she had absolutely no idea where this place supposedly was, so she had to rely on the internet for help. After a good 10 minutes of navigating the busy streets, Mae eventually found herself standing in front of her destination. She put away her phone inside her bag, and opened the doors. | |
