| Shunnosuke had been secluded at home for the past days. He had always been too dramatic and overreactive, but even then, the death of the redhead has turned the teenager into a shadow of what he once was. The teenager was never the kind of being depressed for too long in face of adversities, always taking any difficulties with a confident attitude of someone who's born victorious... That is, except when they had special meaning to him.
Took Shunnosuke a while to regain his daily life. More than time, it also took him effort and some extra push from his parents. That's how he knew how sour his mood was, when even his mother (along with the always so stern patriarch, Mr. Oujirou) got constantly worried and stressed over the teenager's frail side. He was never frail before. Or at least, he has never had a reason to be... And with some patience borrowed from Leighton, Eriko and her up-to-now husband managed to convince Shunnosuke the obvious: the world doesn't stop for you to mend the pieces of your broken heart. It simply doesn't care. Truthful or not, it had a degree of impact in the teenager's core, and for the first time in days, he left his room, even Penecia. Alone. Somehow, the regular dainty neighborhood didn't appeal anymore. The always so colorful, bountiful and agitated Penecia now seemed all kinds of shades of grey. The same people, the same acquaintances, nothing really extracted any reaction from him again. And likely this feeling of estrangement let him to search for comfort somewhere else. In places he had never visited before...
He had never been to the Falls in Lunapa before. It wasn't a place for him, his grandparents would say. Maybe they were true. However, it's as Shunnosuke says, "the most important parties to attend are the ones you aren't invited to". Except, in this case, the "party" refers to a location he wasn't allowed to go. One more reason for him to be there, even if for no reason at all. Just staring at the falls, peacefully, in a serene motion.
The world indeed doesn't stop...

| So, Naomi’s escaping place had turned into Lunapa somewhere along this journey. She didn’t know how that happened, but it did. Strange thing, that. Before, she wouldn’t come within spitting distance of the island unless she was passing through it, now she walked to explore. This place was beautiful. Deep inside, she was glad they had managed to save it. That was her goal from the very start. However, it still felt like they had lost. The price of freedom was a heavy one.
Of course, Naomi hadn’t stopped functioning just because she was sad. She had been sitting around, thinking about what that price meant. Several worlds, a friend, their Mother, and losing their powers; it was a steep price indeed. Still, she took that price to mean something. She had to make the most of life and what was now theirs. She could wallow all she wanted, but then that price would mean nothing. She had to take this freedom by the horns and embrace it. She had already started. She applied for college and was waiting to hear back.
In the meantime, she was free to do as she saw fit, which was admire the world they had saved rather than dwell on what they had lost. Today was Analu Falls, yesterday was her own island, and tomorrow would be the Stadium. She may even find it necessary to go to the skatepark and show off. She just wanted to enjoy what they had.
It seemed she was not the only one that was straying from their home island. As she wandered, she saw a figure out the corner of her eye. She turned to look at them, only to see Kurosawa standing in silence. Their relationship still wasn’t perfect, but she sort of wanted someone right now. She strolled up to him from behind, staying quiet until they were side by side. She sat down next to him, letting the silence continue a little longer before speaking, “Beautiful, isn’t it?” It was all she could manage to say that wouldn’t completely ruin the moment.

| It wasn't all that surprising that he would be here. Afterall, Lunapa was one of the places he tended to visit the most whenever he went farther away from where he lived. Most of the time, he didn't even have a specific purpose for doing it, and there was even less of one now. For all intents and purposes, he was simply wandering around, not really paying attention to where he was going. It mattered little right now. As pretty of a sight as Lunapa could be, Sharaku wasn't really feeling it. He wasn't in general lately. He was just tired. From both the recent big happenings, as well as other personal matters. They won allright, but it's not like it made him actually feel happy. It didn't seem like it was worthy celebrating, although maybe there were those who did do just that. He didn't really keep in touch with people lately. Everyone had their own lives to focus on now that the pressure of doom was lifted, and he didn't see a point in following anyone. If someone wanted him for something, they could always come after him first. If they didn't, then they were technically fine without his company.
He walked around aimlessly for a good while, only stopping once he caught sight of other people a decent distance away from him. A small frown crossed his face once he managed to recognize the figures. Whether he met someone often or not, he didn't forget people's faces that quickly. Nevertheless, he made no move to come closer. He didn't...really want to. He hadn't seen Naomi for ages by now. He didn't even know when the last time was exactly. And he needn't really say much about Shun. They hadn't spoken a word since that time, and he had no reason to believe it would be any better face to face than it was through text. In all honesty, he saw no real reason to approach those two. It didn't even feel right. Was that bad? Maybe. But he was never good at maintaining relationships, and that was certainly no news. He was not the type to contact people often right off the bat after getting to know them. He'd rather wait and see if the other person was interested enough to go after him instead. Which usually ended up with him only meeting people again by chance, with a rare exception here and there. Things tended to be on and off, and frankly he never really felt like he belonged anywhere. The current situation did not help it any. With the struggles over, there was no need for people to stick together as much anymore. Afterall, most of them only got acquainted to a deeper extent due to the Event to begin with. Thus, he stayed standing by the trees some distance away from the duo, watching them with a somewhat weary expression. They probably wouldn't notice him unless they paid decently good attention to their surroundings beyond what was right in front of their eyes. And it suited him at the moment....

| The android found himself wandering the island that his now departed friend had called home. This was the place that Hyde lived during his time in their world. His mind would replay the events that occurred only a little while ago. The price had been steep, but their world was free...however only their world. It bugged the android quite a bit, how were they to save the other worlds? Were they meant to defeat the angels? The android thought that was how they were supposed to meet the mother, it wasn't clear....at least not to the android. The price was paid, but perhaps...it could be negotiated somehow.
However, it became clear that they might never see those worlds again. For now, they would have to live with what they sacrificed and be happy or at least make the most of it. The android did not have the luxary of wallowing, if he even could, he had someone to take care of. Maria Farren, a bright little light that always shined in the deepest and darkest darkness. She was a flame that was difficult to extinguish, and a great source of happiness to the android. The price had kept her safe, and given her the freedom. But it was not her alone, it was all of the people on the islands who could return to their normal lives of being free.
All because of Hyde's sacrifice, it made the android sad that his friend had to die to save it...but he had protected so much that was dear to everyone. He shouldn't be forgotten by those who know his sacrifice. The android's eyes drifted towards the falls, had he really wandered this far? Then he saw both Naomi and Shunnosuke sitting near the falls, "Seems like I'm not the only one who got this idea." He says as he takes a seat beside Shunnosuke, on the opposite side of Naomi.
