The other end of an alleyway was an open street that had no obvious scorch marks.

Naomi reached the open street and began looking around for anything that seemed out of place. She didn’t know what she was looking for and it was creating deep frustration. She glanced around, trying to find anything familiar or anything that stood out. Any one that was running or trying to hide. She was willing to latch onto anything at this point. Just… something to show what had happened. Theda, the person that called the dome, the one who lit the fire… anything...

She would need to look more specifically, but obviously, apart from the scorch mark, nothing else was there. The person seemed to have vanished with only a single trace.
