Theda didn't remember anything before this, where was she again? She must've fallen asleep somewhere, but she was glad that the place looked like San Malarus Island, so at least she wasn't far from home. Though it didn't look too like the city, she might have woke up in a part of town she wasn't used to, but when did it become night time? And back to why did she fall asleep? She never fell asleep outside, something was wrong. She sat up more, taking in the area a bit more - something wasn't right and she knew it. A white blob danced back and forth, trying to get her attention. Upon focusing on it, she noticed it was a rabbit, but it quickly started hopping down the street in a specific direction. White rabbit, leading her down a dark street, Alice in Wonderland much? Though she'd follow it to god knows where, trying to study her surrounding; this diffidently wasn't San Malarus, was she dreaming or something? It didn't feel like a dream at all, it felt very real, and the fact that she could consciously contemplate the odds of it being a dream meant it defiantly wasn't. So where was she, and why was she there?
That's when she heard it, a voice that sounded identical to hers.
"I really do miss my parents, I just don't show it because I'm a big girl now." Theda almost jumped back as she turned to come face to face with... Well her face.
"Acting like a total bitch has made me so cool, but now I don't have any friends." The voice sounded a bit spiteful, was this another way the world would show her how cruel it could be.
"W-Who are you?" The person with her face responded with a cute laugh, her smile spreading across her face.
"I'm you of course. Can't you tell?" The girl moved a bit closer, her eyes slowly turning golden and a blue like aura seemed to shroud her.
"Why is it that I suppressed a nice side of myself, who the heck does that?" She'd take her hand, brushing the hair out of her face.
"Apparently I do, even though it's gotten me in more trouble. Not like I have any friends now, it doesn't help me in the long run... But the worlds against me right? So who cares what happens in the long run?" The voice sounded like hers, but it changed, it sounded demented in some ways, like a repeating voice all speaking at the same time.
Theda was shocked and frozen in place, everything the girl said was true, it was her own thoughts. Even so, something came over her and it was as if she didn't even know what to say, she wanted to say the other girl was right but the words that came next weren't really that close to what she thought.
"Shut up!" The golden eyed version of her smiled.
"Come on Theda, admit it, we're the same person. I'm you." The original spat out her words, swing her arms in protest.
"You're not me! I'm not like that! You're nothing like me!" The golden eyed girl frowned, her aura getting stronger.
"So you still deny me? Fine." There was a burst of power, sending the original back on her ass.
"I guess I'll have to take you out." The shadow had turned into a girl who resembled Red Riding hood, in pink? She picked up her original by the collar, her eyeless face a bit exposed as she tossed her into a wall.
"I'm tired of watching you ruin our life! I'm gonna become the only Theda, and fix everything to broke!"The pink hooded girl raised her hand in the air, frowning still.
"Bun-bun." A small stuffed bunny would materialize in the air, falling into her hand. Theda was still up against the wall, bleeding rabidly from the impact. The shadow swung the rabbit at her original, the impact hurt a lot more than she thought it did, denting the wall more and more until she fell through. The no eyed riding hood picked up her original, tossing her back into the street and onto her back, slamming the rabbit into her abdomen area, making her spit up blood into the air. Over and over she would slam the stuffed toy into her before she knew she was done for, her body turning back into the face of Theda as she snuggled her toy. She sat on the ground next to the other girl as she cried.
"Why couldn't you accept me? We could've fixed our life. Why do you have to be so thickheaded?!" The shadow cried and the original tried to hold on so she could speak. With one final breath, the original Theda passed away abruptly, her shadow feeling a surge of power overwhelm her. She'd hug her dead original, crying a bit before standing up and turning away.
"I'm the original now. I promise I'll live my - our life for you." She'd exit the parallel worlds, and making her way back to Theda's 'home.' No one was going to find out she died, and no one was going to find out that she was different.
