The Quest for Domination Part 2 - The Matter at Hand [Sky Akumura, The Mauled and Theda]

Now that Phalanx had finally awoken to his Persona once again, he was now fully fit to face SE.RA.PH. At least on Paper. He needed to get stronger, hence why he had set up this meeting with the other three members of The Liberators. If he was going to be successful in his plans, he needed to be prepared, and so did the others. That was a fact which he could not stress enough. They all needed combat experience. One of them in paticular had not even awoken to the power resting within, but Phalanx was sure that Mauled's Persona would return with time, just like Neptune had returned to him, although in a very different state than what he remembered him being in. Perhaps it was his change in mentality which caused such a big change to occur for his persona... Regardless, he was powerful enough to guide the others. He sent a text message over to Theda the moment he got up, before walking down the staircase, meeting up with Sky... "You ready to go?" He asked. The two had discussed this matter yesterday night, and letting Sky meet up with the rest of the Liberators sounded like a good idea.

After some small preparations on Sky's end, the two walked over to the designated meetingplace, making sure to swing by the doll-shop on the way. "Hey." Phalanx said, as he opened the door. "We have important matters to discuss. Meet us at the old, run down textile shop in Old Town when you're ready. Theda should already be there."

Sky and Oki had both crashed in the living room that night, Oki being exhausted from some event that had occurred while it was out and Sky simply because she was tired from making preparations across the board with Phalanx and some useful friends she had collected along the way that would aid them in their goals.

Despite being mentally drained, the young woman was still able to wake up early and after carefully stepping over Oki’s arm since he was under the table for some reason, she went in the bathroom to get ready for the day.

As she prepared herself, the excitement for what was about to occur began to knock away cobwebs and energize her the more she moved. Today, she was to meet the others of this group that Phalanx had gathered and labeled the Liberators. From what she understood, the strange machine that owned the doll shop was a member and someone named Theda that she had never met before. Phalanx wanted them to get together to meet and discuss business. A fair thing in Sky’s mind for it would give her a chance to see just how useful any of this collected crew was to the cleansing of the world.

In any case, after gathering what was needed and nabbing some food out of the kitchen, she’d wait for Phalanx to come down as she ate the bread she had with her. When he asked his question, she had just finished off the bread and was working on the bottle of water she had with her.

“Mhmmm," she said swallowing the water in her mouth. "Whenever you are,” she would finish with a smirk as she re-tightened the lid on the bottle she had. With that said, the pair would leave the shop and head across the street to the doll shop where the strange machine lady was. Sky lingered by the doorway while Phalanx went in to get the other machine. She didn’t exactly want to encounter the dolls again so early in the morning, so she’d wait patiently for the pair to come out again.

When they did, Sky would greet the strange machine lady with a small smile and bow, still unsure what to make of the other. Still, if Phalanx trusted her then maybe there was some value to the strange machine after all.

The Shadow of Theda Malice had received the location of the meeting place, leaning up against one of the old textile machines. Her thoughts wandered, from what she was going to do with these people, especially when thinking of fighting with them against persona users. There was this feeling she got every time she caught these persona wielders in the Parallel Worlds, as if she was being asked to take them out. Of course she was never strong enough to do it herself, which is why she might be able to do it with a team by her side. Four people on a team called the Liberators, all aligned with the Crawling Chaos in some way. Two robots, a Child, and a Shadow, it seemed to be the best team she could think of. But it’d be better if they had more members to join them. Theda was actually starting to think of grabbing people off the streets and throwing them into her world, then helping their shadow kill their original and recruiting the shadow. It would be beautiful in a sense, but it would be too much work if you asked her.
