Appearance:
Mauled herself would appear normal to most people as she commonly hides her body and face under concealing clothing and a large hat. She is 5' 6'' and weighs more than she looks, almost 200 lbs due to her metal exoskeleton and mechanical insides. If one where to truly see her, they’d find a destroyed and battered exoskeleton with its wires poking out. Mauled’s head is actually empty all except a small component used for moving her mouth and one of her eyes. The insides of her head have been pulled out and so now act as a snake like thing that comes out of her back, as such, she only has one eye in her head, the other being with the rest of her head’s inside. She wears mostly pink clothes along with her silver hair, something most people find odd of a Doll Shop Owner to do. The ears and tail are purely cosmetic pieces for her outfits and as so, she rarely wears them unless convinced to.
Personality:
Mauled hates people. She hates what they did to her and what they do to others. She hates pain and disfigurement, the two components that describe her life. She lives in constant pain and agony, the damage done to her body beyond repair. She never lets this faze her though. She clings to a hope that she can save those with pain like her and prevent those who may face it. Besides this, she comes across as very soft spoken and almost traumatized at time, due to her current state. She’s prone to madness and has a very frail psyche that simply wishes to go stark raving mad and end those who, essentially, mauled her.

— Description: The Mauled is equipped with night vision technology, and as such, can activate them to see in the darkness.

—Description: The Mauled is a master stalker. She prides herself on her silent nature, it being one of the few things she’s capable of doing exceedingly well, and uses it to her advantage whenever possible.
—Strength Name: Porcelain... Pristine...
—Description: While it may be of much use, The Mauled is very knowledgeable with dolls in general. She had lived a long time within her Doll Shop and has become accustomed with their needs.
—Strength Name: I’m… Insane…
—Description: The Mauled has a very weak psyche. Once broken, she becomes more sporadic and hard to pin down what exactly she’s doing.
—Strength Name: Shhh… Listen…
—Description: Like her doll craftsmanship, this talent isn’t per say the most useful in battle, but it has its uses none the less. The Mauled knows how to play a piano fairly well and can usually be found tucked away in her Doll Shop playing the old piano within.

— Description: The Mauled is a very beaten and disfigured ASSW. She’s very impaired due to it and when not insane, will move very slowly and quiet… Something that isn’t useful when trying to escape or fight in close quarters.

— Description: The Mauled essentially needs people to sustain her psyche. When she’s alone for long amounts of time, her mind breaks very easily, something not great to have when living near a large populace.
—Weakness Name: I… Am… Curious…?
—Description: The Mauled has an almost childlike curiosity that gets in the way more times than not. This can lead her to doing and participating in acts that she should really leave alone.
—Weakness Name: Speak… Slowly… Softly… Shhh…
—Description: The Mauled has a very unique way of talking. It’s very soft and slow, something that can annoy people greatly. Some group it as a speech impediment, which it is, but others find her doing it on purpose due to the way she presents herself.
—Weakness Name: Weird…? Hee hee hee…
—Description: The Mauled is a very strange person to say the least. She presents herself in an odd way, speaks in an odd way (as aforementioned), and acts in odd ways. This makes it exceedingly hard for her to truly get to know people.
Soul Bound Weapon:
Weapon Name: Clockwork Flock
Weapon Description: Twelve small, sparrow sized, clockwork birds. The Clockwork Flock effectively makes up for The Mauled’s slow movements however they never fly separately while attacking, instead flying within their flock. The flock will only go as far as where a target is directed; if they miss the target, they disperse and fly back to the Mauled's side. Their max range though before dispersing is 55 feet. They fly at a max speed of 28 mph.

The Background

History:
The Mauled was created for one simple task: To destroy shadows. She had no other coding or real personality besides that. Her beginning year as a weapon was a very effective one. Her make and model was effective with dealing with shadows, and her birds only added to the robot’s ability to destroy shadows. Though, the day came when the head scientist knew the shadow’s where becoming too strong for the killing machine to handle alone. She needed to be stronger. To be able to destroy anything that apposed her. And so they began giving her psyche.
The Mauled’s mind slowly developed, and she slowly was introduced to the world. But her progress was too slow for the head scientist. And so during a session to help the Mauled develop her psyche, he barged in and yelled at her. The Mauled had never been scared before… She had never felt so frightened in her entire existence. This only fractured her weak psyche, and due to it, created a wild and destructive Persona.
This enraged the scientist so much; he demanded she be scrapped at once. Though… The worst part was that they never took away her psyche. She felt every bashing, every tearing, and every drilling that the machine did to her… Finally her Persona came out and demolished the machine as she made her escape. She knew very little of the world, and so she wondered for years before finally her wires grew cold and her mind went dark. One day, she woke up within an old doll shop, dressed in odd clothing. It would appear whoever owned the store found her and thought her a doll of sorts… She didn’t know who it was that did it… But she knew they had essentially saved her life… Through a quick browse of the place, she found out the old woman had died and left the deed to the place locked within a small safe.
The Mauled then took up a fake name and aliases, being the old Doll Shop Owner’s granddaughter, and re-opened the shop. She never forgot though… She never will forget… She never wants to forget… She still feels the Persona locked in her mind and the pain the scientists inflicted upon her. She hated people… She would see them pay for the pain they brought others… It was now just a waiting game…
Tick… Tock… Goes the clock… Tick… Tock… Time goes by… Tick… Tock… Closer you die… Tick… Tock… She’ll kill you… Just wait… And see… Hee hee…

| Describe your soulbound weapon a bit more clearly since it's a group of birds. How far can they travel in a given attack and at what speed? And if they can change shape in a flock or just stay as a mass of twelve. | |
