"I know you don't need protecting, but I also know you take more damage from fire. When I have Hou-ou ready to go, I don't take any damage from fire at all, so do you really think I'd let you take a hit when I can just block it no problem? I'd do it for anyone, but you especially, I never want to see hurt." Shion looked up and chuckled. Really, it was just better strategy, it'd give her a chance to talk about elements with her later, and how Personas could have strengths and weaknesses. She even heard of Shadows that could absorb certain elements... somehow. But really, right now, if Lia was weak to fire, and Hou-ou could block it, there was no reason for her to let her lover take such a hit. That was just unnecessary.

"Alright, if you're getting more used to it, let's go for a final one. It's definitely not a bad thing, though. If you get stronger, that means you can help me protect the islands better, right? You said yourself that it isn't about me, after all. It's both our job to keep the Azores safe. After all, I agreed to train you because of that. If you get stronger, I'll be happy... because that means I can help you too." The brunette smiled happily, but calmly, as she closed her eyes. Still walking, though, she noticed something. "It ran out. We're not as fast anymore. I need you to use it again, we can go faster if we have it active." At this point, Shion was sure Lia would comply, so she simply waited for the speed boost then started walking again, back towards the entrance, actually, though her plan was different.

Lia nodded, acknowledging her talking. She nodded and used her ability once more. To her credit though, she definitely did like the ability of running and jumping a little quicker. "I'd like to avoid getting hurt. Fire is annoying, and it certainly doesn't make a circus better, normally anyway. I will have myself up and ready by that time. I just don't feel so eager about all of this. Why is all this fighting necessary...?" She said, almost pouting in a way. She wasn't liking this idea at all, but with Rita here, it did bring her some comfort.

She chuckled. "Well, don't worry. I can control fire to a science, and even block others' fire. What do you have to fear with me around? But really... fighting is what we've been forced to do. If we don't fight, we're, plainly, fucked. But that's why I brought you here. We need to fight so the islands can be peaceful again... even if I don't understand why they became like this in the first place. I want to keep them safe, and I want to keep you safe too, Lia. That's why I fight..." Before stepping ahead once more, Shion turned around, looking up at her lover before putting her arms around her neck, bringing her closer for a hug.

"Hey, if we all make it, it's worth it in the end, right? I want to see you smile, I want to see everyone smile once they're safe. Isn't that why we fight? To make people happy?" The brunette brushed Lia's green hair aside, looking at her in the eyes, then smirked and let her arms fall back down, the User turning around again. "Just around this corner, there's another group. Wait for a minute before rushing in, we'll take them by surprise." Shion could feel she wasn't going to be hunted yet, not around the corner... she just needed to sprint in and rush towards them after this, that was all it took.

Lia nodded silently and poked her head around the corner to the Shadows. They certainly looked a little tougher, but Rita and her have had some complimentary abilities. It was interesting to see her and Rita work so seamlessly together even despite any possible hiccup. "You're right though. This is to make everyone happy. They all deserve it. If a couple have to go through this for their sake, then its worth the cost to me," she said, smiling at Rita, ready to face the world with her at this point. Time would eventually heal it, but for now, she had to be strong. This was where it was most needed after all.

Shion smiled happily. "I'm glad you agree with me, Lia. We'll make everyone happy. Together." Summoning her sword back to her hand, the brunette dashed towards the Shadows once more, going to take them by surprise like usual.

The brunette walked over to where the Shadows were, smirking. "That's what you get for hitting us." She whispered this in a sort of dark tone before taking a deep breath and turning back. "Are you alright, Lia? I'm impressed, I wasn't expecting Shadows to actually hit us with that skill. I guess I should respect them." Shion walked over to Lia, checking if she was alright or not before looking ahead in the path. Okay, they should get out of here now.

"Let's leave now, then. I'm tired of this place already, and we didn't even spend that long here. I'll explain more to you once we're outside." The brunette took her lover's hand, though, wanting to at least go with her like this... so she simply entered the Block again and left the dungeon, waiting for Lia to leave first before she herself hopped off. At least she got some money off this.

Erm, right, the last post is an Exit, I'm walking three steps up, two to the left, and one down into the Block, then leaving the dungeon. Woo.
