"I've been putting this off for far to long..."

A fire was lit in Jack's soul. Today was a great day, for today was the day he finally got access to the deep records. A fresh faced beat cop had to jump through more hoops then a circus lion to get access to old case files, especially for things they did not directly investigate. However, after weeks of waiting, complaining, and pestering... the information he so desperately needed would finally be his. That is... if he could get past the gate keeper. Legends told of the iron clad maiden who guarded the secrets of the deep logs... Gladys...

Such a sweet old lady if a bit hard to deal with. A retired detective who just sorta... stuck around. She handled the database and was the one who ultimately granted access to newbies like Jack. She was very adamant about the fact that this was not to be taken lightly, and that if misused... Jack would have janitorial duties for the next... ever. Jack wasn't sure if she was one of his supporters back in the days of the Red Personanger, but he got the impression she was more indifferent then anything else.

"Morning Gladys! Jack would call as he entered the records office with a fresh box of Doughnuts tucked under his arm. "Might I say you are looking quite lovely toda-"

"Save it Rannells... What do you want?" Gladys's old withered eyes looked up from her computer and glared at Jack from across her desk.

"Er... Right..." Jack's blood ran a little cold as her gaze worked it's way through him. "I'm just dropping by to pick up the records I requested."

"Riiiight..." her joints groaned as she typed away to bring up the requested Data"Hmm?... The Dunbar reports?... Now why would you want something like that?..."

"Just doing my do diligence to read up on the Islands biggest crime lord," Jack shifted uncomfortably as Gladys's eyes grew sharper... Man old ladies are scary when they want to be...

"Riiiight... Well... I just hope you know what you're doing Mr.SuperHero." Jack chucked uncomfortably as the printer churned into life and began to print the documents.

"O-Oh Gladys, you kidder, you know those days are behind me," Quickly, and hopefully before she could notice his growing cold sweat, Jack grabbed the document and moved for the door"W-Well thanks Gladys! I'll see you later,"

"One second Mr.Rannells..." Jacks heart stopped at Gladys's word. "The doughnuts stay...."

"Eh... Right..."

Names... Dates... Addresses... Known associates and underlings, even a rudimentary chain of command. Just what he needed to get started... The words from two years ago still stung...

Staying out of Standason... that's what the crowd said... Well... It's about time he fixed that.

... Right after he goes to replace that box of doughnuts....

They would give Jack a set of three files that he could choose to rummage through. One had a file named "Zackary Dunbar", another was named "Recent Crimes in Standasen", and the final was "Nature of Dunbar's Gang". The file titles were fairly straightforward and he could look through them now if he chose to, or wait.

Jack will read through the documents several times throughout the day to memorize it as best he can before going to Standason that evening to begin his hunt.

The first file had a general profile of Zackary. A picture of him seen in the islands, along with a description of his figure. It had information describing that he was the son of Ryan Dunbar, a man who was known to be the head constructor behind many of the newer buildings made in San Malarus and Standasen. He was also a politician before he died around eight years ago. Beyond that however, not much else is given about Zackary beyond that he is known to have attacked and stolen more than several times. The "Recent Crimes" folder contained things that had happened in the past couple of years. It mostly came down to buying and selling drugs, and stealing large shipments of various supplies such as food and others from various ships that would arrive on the island. The file also pointed out that before this, most of the crimes came down to petty theft or assault within the islands, now it is spread out more. How could this be? In any event, the final file that spoke of the nature of the Gang, explained that most of the gang's crimes outside of the usual when they first started out was the creation and distribution of certain drugs that were indefinable until the case two years ago that concerned the supernatural. Several of the gang members had been captured, but at least up until the file shows, nothing useful could be gotten out of them.
