This seemed odd for Rita. It was night time right now and she came here to... Zela, of all places? Well, truth be told, she needed some help getting some things... things the internet couldn't tell her about. Seeing as it was the dead of night, Rita stuck close to the wall, where any light didn't shine, dressed in simple dark clothing as she observed the general area.

"Some times, you just need to do some crazy things..."

Rita furrowed her brow as she turned around to face the wall. Her new ability showed itself as her eyes began glowing a faint red light as she took in what it did... truth be told, Rita specifically picked this segment of the wall because it was relatively close to the entrance of the school when compared to most other points, and that made her life easier. Best to be safe than sorry, though. It'd be easy to cut down this wall with her sword, but she needed to do something... less noticeable. For that, she just examined the environment around her, looking for any weaknesses in the wall's structure that she could take advantage of.

"After what happened, this is all I can try to do..." Honestly, she still regretted what went on in regards to the Angel, but this... event, you could call it, was something she had been planning for a while now. With the school closed, hopefully there wasn't anyone that could actually stop her. Wishful thinking, but perhaps it was true.

In the dead of night, the deserted academy seemed to stay still and quiet. With all of the madness gone people were talking about working to rehabilitate it, but not many efforts had been made yet. So far as far as anyone was concerned, it was simply a dump for the sand that had leaked out into that world. Everything was quiet on the outside, however one could only imagine if anything had changed on the inside since it all returned to normal.

At least things seemed to be fairly... peaceful. Maybe she could get something done today after all. Crouching down, Rita picked up a small box of tools she had bought in the afternoon and moved towards the front gate. There shouldn't be any lights around, right? Looking around, she simply examined the gate for a bit, looking for any kind of lock or something... if there was one, she'd simply reach up to it, summon her sword and cut it down, grabbing it in the air to avoid any noise. The silvernette would be extremely careful with her cutting, and the cuts themselves would be straight, along a single line right at the base of the lock if it was a regular key-operated one. If there was no lock, she'd simply look around for a moment, examining the area a tad more. While doing so, she'd keep her still dimly glowing eyes trained for anything that even remotely resembled a human... aside from that, she'd use this power of hers to find pressure points in the gate itself, not doing anything more. Even if she cut down the lock, Rita wouldn't even enter yet... not yet.

There was a metal gate locked by a chain and the lock already built onto it, but the soulbound attack made quick work of it, which caused one door to open slightly. Nothing seemed to be alerted, and it still remained quiet in the school...

"Easier than pie..." The silvernette smirked slightly as she pushed on the door very slowly, to avoid making any squeaking or such noises, and once it was open enough, she'd enter. As soon as she did, though, she immediately looked and listened around once more, trying to find anyone before removing a flashlight from her pocket. If there didn't seem to be any sound that was human-like at all, she'd turn the device on and flash it slowly around the place. Best to make use of her senses in this situation. Should anything even so much as twitch after she turned it on, it'd go off again in a split second reaction... needless to say, Rita was fairly jumpy at the moment.

The courtyard towards the school was not so crowded, and at night it was hard to see, however Rita would be stepping over sandy areas that were piling up around places as though a beach had once been here. The heat was still normal, and it didn't look like anyone in her vision of the courtyard was outside...

Good, so there was no-one around right now... with this sand all over the place, though, she could both detect when someone else was walking nearby, but those people could also hear when she was walking nearby... well, no use hesitating now. Simply walking along with her flashlight, Rita did her best to keep her steps as close to tip-toeing as she could, entering the building itself... from here, it should be a straight shot to the library, she hoped. Needless to say, the silvernette kept her flashlight on as she entered.

She would find that the library was locked when attempting to enter or otherwise would not budge. Perhaps they were trying to protect the materials inside when it all hit. If anything was left of it, this would be the place to check.

"Tch." Just a low sound, muttered under her breath... library door was no good. Well, that at least was reassuring, the information was still there, hopefully safe... hopefully. Before doing anything, the silvernette leaned onto the door for a moment, making no sound and checking for any... if there was nothing, she'd act. With a quick slide, Rita brought her sword down smoothly to avoid making too much sound, and whatever lock was impeding her entrance should get slashed apart easily. Even if it wasn't a visible lock, Rita would stab her sword between the library's door and its edge or doors, if it was multiple, and literally cut the metallic components that kept it shut, even if there actually didn't seem to be anything there but the door(s). If she did hear something, however, Rita would try and peek inside through any openings, using her ability to scan for... anything, really. If there were humans in there, she could probably see them.

Inside the library she would find a large selection of books from wall to wall, however along with a rift nearby, there was plenty of sand over the ground. But it seemed for the most part, there wasn't so much damage to this area. Near the front door to her left would also be a desk where she would remember as the check-out desk. Apart from that, nothing else was there, or at least, she didn't notice that stuck out as odd. Whether she was being watched or not she would not be able to tell so easily. It seemed quiet; maybe this entire event kept them from the school entirely now that summer was already there. It was kind of sad to see a school so abandoned after its great upbringing.

Alright, so this place still seemed to be fine... aside from the sand everywhere. And there was a rift here now too? Interesting... some other place to go, maybe. Perhaps not tonight, though, well... agh. It could wait. What interested her most was the check-out desk, as Rita moved behind it and pointed her flashlight at it, illuminating the desk completely, hopefully... she wasn't looking for anything too specific, mostly just anything at all that was behind there. Afterwards, she'd look around for any other side rooms to this place. To her knowledge, libraries always contained at least some kind of storage room for other books, so that was definitely a place to check as well. For now, though, Rita stuck with checking the desk thoroughly, even crouching down and searching possibly under it, or digging randomly to perhaps remove the sand from it. Anything that it took to make sure she investigated it fully, really, she would do.

When looking at the desk, Rita found a couple papers on the top, with just lists of various books. In the middle on the edge was a drawer, and to the side there were three shelves over one another.

The silvernette examined the papers and their listings, mostly looking for things such as history books, mythology manuals or encyclopedias relating to religion and mythology in general. Aside from that, she also took note of what the actual papers described... needless to say, to perform this task, she removed a pair of gloves from her toolbox, putting them on before ever picking up the papers. Caution came first, and her finger prints had no place on these things.

After typing in all that was of interest to her phone in the papers, Rita moved onto the drawers... okay, first, the middle one. If it was locked, most usual way to go would be breaking it, so if that was the case, a screwdriver would come out of the box as she used it to hopefully smash the lock forcefully. Not in an actual smash, but more like trying to break the thing by twisting it forcefully. That is, if it was needed. To make the job easier, Rita held the flashlight between her teeth. If it wasn't needed, she'd simply open the drawer normally and take a look at what was inside... the other three could wait right now, one thing at a time, as she said.

It was indeed the smart choice to make, because the drawer was indeed locked, and normally a screwdriver wouldn't be able to turn a lock so easily, but with Rita's strength, she did have the ability to forcibly break the lock on the inside and get the drawer open using a screwdriver. She would see inside that there were easily ten or so files filled with papers and other things from a glance that filled the drawer.

"Hmph." Rita smirked, taking a seat... presumably on the chair Simon Alba used to sit on when he stood behind the desk, if he was sitting at all. If there was no chair, she'd simply sit under the desk itself. Even with her height, it shouldn't be a problem. Regardless, she'd take the files as soon as she opened the drawer, using her right hand to direct her flashlight at them and laying them on her leg, her left hand turning the pages as she did so. Until this reading was done, the other drawers could stay there... though, it was best to get them open ahead of time, maybe. Oh well, her Soulbound could tear through those things easily if they were locked, so no rush if she had to run suddenly.
