| Heh, she still remembered the last times she rode a bike... strolling through various places with Lia, catching the sighs, exploring the world... that was the life. Two years, huh... time flew by. It was too much time, for sure, yet too little changed. Yes, almost nothing changed...
Of course she wasn't okay with that.
Rita still recognized the streets of Penecia, almost like they were imprinted in her mind. With all this panic, she wondered if she could even get through... yet, the performer needed to make sure everything was okay, and her first stop was... the middle of the island. The waters could wait, she needed to search for anything that might have came up otherwise, and no matter how tempted she was to reach shore, that shouldn't be her first priority.
"I hate it when this happens..." Her heart was racing. She didn't expect this nor did she want it. All this new event was... was a nuisance.

| The island actually was mostly still standing. While there was damage, the buildings remained standing for the most part. The city itself was devoid of a lot of people; much have probably found cover and the like. Rita had not seen too much out of the ordinary, but she could see the strange waters, and the demons in the air over Standasen, as well as the barrier near San Malarus. She had several ways to go, but where would they be? | |

| Very little people in the streets... just about what Rita expected. At this point, the best thing to do would be evacuate the guests at the circus to their homes, if they lived here in Penecia, and keep them safe at the top otherwise if they didn't. They had the staff to do it, after all, and the top was large enough to house however many they needed to...
However, as soon as the blonde took notice of the demons over Standasen, she stopped her motorcycle straight in its tracks and flipped down her sunglasses. With a sigh, Rita pulled over at a nearby curve, flipped down the motorcycle's support, and simply sat on it with her arms crossed, observing the island. San Malarus was a bit concerning too, but not as much as the island where everything went down two years ago. First it was Thesis and Nesoi, now demon things...
"Only one thing to do..." Rita simply took out her cell phone, flipped it open, and began writing Lia a text message...//Things are going insane over Standasen. Ask the guests if any of them are from the island, and if they are, to stay at the top with us, we want to make sure they don't go back. Don't mention what I'm going to tell you next: those demons or whatever are swarming over the island's skies, it's unsafe for them to leave. Just keep them there at all costs. Aside from that, the streets of Penecia seem clear, let's try and evacuate those who live here first. They need to stay inside afterwards, but we should take advantage of the calm when it's still in place. I'll be back soon, I'm just going to keep checking a bit more.//
-xoxo ~ Rita "Yosh, that should be enough... now then, what have you got for me..." With a small pout, the performer kept her phone open and turned on its internet browser, immediately navigating to the local news website to check if there were any global updates on the situation.

| With a quick response from Lia, a message would read:"Alright. I will keep them safe. You need to as well. I noticed the waters as well, and San Malarus. What do you plan to do?" On the internet, of course news was sprouting around the local news websites, talking of Isla being a dictator and bringing new types of destructive weapons, while others hinted at her making a safe haven at San Malarus. Some were suggesting Zackary Dunbar, the leader of his gang was making terrorist attacks, but the news was not reaching worldwide it seemed so far. Azores was a quiet little set of islands as far as the world was concerned, as they supported themselves and while having a tourist industry, did not make a big impact. | |

| The news put a scowl back on the blonde's face, but she shook her head. New weapons, a dictator...? No, that couldn't be true, the principal she knew wasn't like that. Granted, it wasn't like she knew Isla very well, but this... other issue...
Rita's worries eased somewhat when Lia's response came as quick as she hoped, and she quickly typed up another message.//The waters and San Malarus are the least of my worries right now, honestly. I want to make sure our guests are safe first and foremost. Oh, and if any are from San Malarus... keep them around too, I need to talk to them. Anyway, whenever you can, ask them about Isla Mulochin. I'm interested in Zackary Dunbar as well, but keep that name to yourself. I'm going to check the shore now and head right back after that. Try and organize our guests so we can evacuate them.//
-xoxo ~ Rita With that said, Rita flipped her phone down and slid her leg over her motorcycle again. With a flick of her wrist, the engine came to life, and she flipped the support up before rolling down the streets of Penecia again, towards the beach. Yet, she still occasionally glanced at Standasen and San Malarus...

| She responded shortly:"Alright. Be safe." When Rita looked upon the shore, she could see even before getting to the edge the golden waters and the whirlpools forming openings to images of strange worlds. She could see familiar people in a desert land for short flashes, as well as less clear images of a world underwater. The waters felt akin to the rifts she came into contact with once before several years ago, like they would lead her into a strange realm. She could choose to step in, the waters conjured an ominous wind aroun the area like that's what it wanted. It was up to her. | |

| The performer stopped her motorcycle just short of the shore, then got off it with a curious glance. She let out a short, nervous breath as she stared at the waters, and placed a hand on her chin.
"This isn't all that different from back then... but I thought we stopped it. What the hell is going on..?" It was only after saying this that she took the time to read Lia's message. While her phone was still open, Rita stared at the golden waters...
This feeling, this pleading... She had to go in eventually, right..?
A single glance at the text message brought her back to her senses, though, and the blonde smiled. No time for things like that right now, they needed to get ready first and foremost. Without another thought, she hopped back onto her bike and rode straight back towards the Biggest Top. She got what she came to see, and it looked safe enough. Now, time for an escort mission...

| As the conflict begins to brew, a duo plans what it can to keep it all stable while those who can fight keep the worlds safe...
Rita and Lia have formed the "Azores' First Line of Defense" Judgment Arcana social link...
