Your Adventure Log Has Vanished! (Oki)

It was odd having people concerned about it after so long. While its voice showed the strain that Oki’s body had gone through, the being felt no pain as it did its best to focus on DJ’s face. She seemed…to be slightly upset by something, but before Oki could form the words to ask what the issue was, the girl’s attitude had changed once more. Hoping DJ was not still beating herself up over this situation, Oki’s face remain calm despite the sleep that still tugged at it.

The being would listen to the concerned words followed by the time given. It appeared it had only been out for a few hours. Well that was not bad and the suggestion of more sleep was indeed tempting to take. When the pair both said they would say stay until Oki was better, the being’s eyes drifted to the older of the pair and watched him for a moment. Why would…a stranger stay for Oki? Or was it for DJ he really stayed? The being wasn’t sure as its eyes drifted back to the DJ and it gave a small nod to the girl as it closed its eyes.

“Thank you…” was all it whispered before falling back to sleep.


It was only a few hours later when Oki woke once more. The room was still dark as it scanned the area once more. It was feeling a bit better, but more importantly than that Oki wanted to get out of the hospital. It took note that DJ and her friends were still in the room, so as quietly as it could it sat up before pausing to glare at the machine that beeped more rapidly. It honestly hated that sound, but understood it was for good and not bad reasons the sound occurred this time. Still, it wished the machine would be quieter, it did not want to disturb its sister and friends if they had dozed off.

Whatever happened from that, Oki would manage to get into a sitting position in a more or less quiet fashion and then sit for a moment as it debated about taking out the needles within it or not.

Hrmmm…perhaps it should be a good Oki and wait for the doctors to do it. Besides…it wanted to leave with DJ in a calm fashion without trouble. Yes. Oki would need to be good for that to occur. Hmph!

Resigning to its fate for now, Oki would remain quiet in the bed, slightly distracted by the wave of a cobweb in the upper corner of the room. It watch the thin spider home quietly so as not to disturb its potentially sleeping guests. It would wait to leave with the odd company that came to watch over it, feeling rather relieved and thankful they had really stayed and not abandoned it.
