Rita sighed, still smiling. "Do you really think I'd ever let you get hurt? You already know you're the most important person in the world to me..." The silvernette let her bangs drape in front of her eyes as she took a seat again, that smile turning into something a lot more conflicted than before. Honestly, she couldn't even comment on Lia's next line, there... was a lot on her mind.

"I wish it could have continued normally..." Rita closed her eyes, her smile disappearing now. "I'm really scared you'll end up getting hurt... or worse, killed, because of this... I couldn't keep you safe against Ananke, I'm really sorry..." She really couldn't keep it anymore... even if it was only two days, seeing Lia just lying in bed, helpless, not waking up for two full days was the most scared Rita could ever get.

"Lia... I want to talk to you more, a lot more. I realized it yesterday, but when we talk, it's only you helping me, not the reverse... I want to make you happy too, just like you do to me." The silvernette brought up her face, looking at Lia's with a heavy expression. "I don't know what I can do for you... so the least I can do is help you figure out how to control this power... I couldn't keep you away from it, keep you safe, and you paid the price. That's... unforgivable to me." Rita legitimately regretted not being able to do anything, not being able to keep Lia safe, away from all this supernatural shit... she didn't deserve to be forced into this, not her, of all people. For not being able to avoid that, Rita couldn't forgive herself, no matter how much she saw Lia was okay with it... there was nothing to do about it now, though. The least the silvernette could do was help the one she loved survive to the best of her ability. It may take a while, but she'd do that...

"I promise you... I'll never let anything or anyone else even come close to hurting you..."

She shook her head on the pillow. "It doesn't matter now. Whatever happened has already happened. If you get upset about it you won't be able to focus on the important stuff. It's what I do all the time. Get sad about it when it happens, but let it go. You're no different and you don't have to be." She smiled at Rita and pulled a whole-hand salute, not exactly the right way to do it she remembered being told, but that was all she remembered. "You got it boss! Don't worry about me, I will come back. If I stayed here, then people would get upset. My image is important to others, and I can't let them down. I can't let my family down either. So don't worry. I'll listen to you. Just tell me what to do and I will make sure." Lia then ran her fingers to move the hair out of her eyes before closing them and planting a small kiss on Rita's lips. "I trust you. So don't worry okay? Just make sure you make it through this alright?" She grabbed her hands and put them to her own chest, smirking a bit. "I guess I have taken something from you....I'm.....romanticing a bit more? English isn't what I'm good at..."

Rita blinked a few times. "I guess that's right... what defines a person shouldn't be what they did, or what happened to them, but what they do. Regrets linger, though... even if I, myself, am not different, I still let it happen to someone I dearly care about. If I was the only one who got hurt because of it, I wouldn't bat an eye, but others got involved because of my mistakes. That's what I regret most." She reached under her sleeve, pulling it up to her elbow and then placed her hand over the bracelet underneath... this was the only thing that kept her going back then. The thought of Lia being right behind her, fighting with her... helping her. That's the only thing that kept Rita sane in that fight. She wasn't proud of her attitude then... but she snapped. That was all.

"Don't call me a boss. I'm not going to just spout orders for you to follow... besides, you wouldn't learn anything if I did that, would you?" Rita looked at Lia for a split second only to be surprised with a kiss, making her eyes go wide for a second or so afterwards. "A-alright..." Rita looked away as her hands were grabbed, feeling her face heat up. "You idiot... even now, you're only reassuring me... Let me hold the burden for you as well, alright? We're in this together, helping each other." The silvernette looked back at Lia and chuckled. "It doesn't matter whether you're smart or dumb, if you're strong or weak to me..." Bringing a hand up to Lia's cheek, Rita'd brush it lightly with her thumb.

"Something about you made me fall head over heels for you... English may not be your best area of expertise, but you really should listen to yourself some times. You inspire something in people... something in me, to keep going, be it with your words or with your presence. I'm only one of many who love you... but if I may be bold, I'm only one of very few people who loves you more than they do themselves. Is this what you meant by romanticizing?" After her speech, Rita stuck her tongue out, dropping a little wink. Every single word there was lined with the utmost sincerity, though... she truly believed Lia was an inspiration, an icon to everyone. Someone that helped people keep going, simply because she didn't back down... this personality of hers was what caused Rita to not ever admit defeat, in any battle she came across, it's what drove the silvernette to stay alive... maybe there was something under this inspiration, this idol... but that was just the beauty of it.

"When you love someone, you don't love them because you fully know them... you love them because you simply do. When you discover something new about the one you love, well... that's just more of them that's open for you to love. I want to see more of you... know what worries you, help you through it... no matter what it is. I trust you completely... that's why... watashi wa anata o aishite tsudzukemasu yo...

Lia smiled, not really talking much and letting her give her piece to her. She revealed her teeth in her smile. "I don't know Japanese. I am pretty sure I forgot most of my Italian..." She ran a finger across her chin. "Dove posso trovare il bagno. I'll leave that to you to figure out," she said as a tiny joke. She looked to the TV showing news and soon decided to turn it off. "Rita, go ahead and head home. I will be leaving today, or at least I am gonna make sure I do. I promise though, we will figure this out alright? Promise me you won't get hurt alright? If you do, then I will come find you. Once this is all over, I think I will think about having you join us before we leave; didn't you talk about it before?" She looked to the side and scrunched her lips together at the thought of it. She would like that, but she would like something even more.

"I am gonna try and see if we can stay here after this is over. I think that we need to be here some time after this. If we leave so soon, then it won't make many happy. I'll be talking about it with my father," she said. It was something she had realized when she fought the red man. If she left right at the end, it would be nothing short of leaving the islands to their fate. It just wasn't fair...to her anyway.

"I'm more impressed you know what was Japanese... though, yeah, I guess for me to know it, it'd have to be that. Most people I said that too, I'm sure would say it was Chinese or something." She chuckled, then sighed. "I've already been studying Greek lately, you want me to learn another language? You're mean." Taking that chance, she brought a finger up to Lia's forehead and flicked it lightly with a goofy smile. Honestly, learning at least a bit of general knowledge of Greek would be useful if Ananke would keep speaking it like he did previously. Best to ready herself for that.

"I'd... love to, but today, I have nothing else to do... Still early in the day, right?" Rita looked outside to check on the time of day, also thinking about something else. "Hmmm... honestly, I'd love to go with you guys, but only after this is solved... If you're staying around for a while after, I guess I'll stick around too. After all, I still have to practice more after all this... I need to develop something to contribute to the circus, after all." Needless to say, Rita would definitely like for her to stay even after this was resolved. It helped... it really did. Having something so cheerful as a circus to help people get over the disaster, add to the happiness after the relief.

"I wonder what I should do today... I guess I don't have to worry about you as much anymore. I still want to stay with you, though..." Rita moved slightly away and looked to the side, frowning. "Alright, if you think I should go home, I will... but before I go, I need to leave you with something." Looking back at Lia, she moved forwards again slightly and wrapped her arms around the performer, hugging her tight. "I promise you that I'll take care of myself as long as you believe in me. I already know you'll do the same." Putting a small peck on Lia's cheek, Rita nuzzled her neck, closing her eyes. After a while of worry... just being like this was all the silvernette wanted, nothing more, nothing less. Though the hug wouldn't last too long, as Lia was right, she should go home, so after a second or two, Rita'd sigh and let her go, moving back again.

"Okay, now I should really go... I'll see you tomorrow, okay? I'll meet you at the circus, like usual." She'd walk towards the door in a normal pace, putting a hand on the nob before looking back with a smile, then giving a thumbs-up. "Let's do our best... partner." If Lia had nothing else to say, Rita'd simply walk out with the same smile. It was... mostly a relief, she had to say, seeing her alright again... but she wasn't all that satisfied yet. Lia, in this, still comforted her more... Rita still felt like she could do more for the one she loved. While today was a success, no two ways about it, there was... something still asking Rita to go further. Learn more about Lia... should she have stayed? Well... that would depend on what Lia said. If she said anything, then she would stay... she'd stay for as long as she needed to.

Lia merely smiled back to her before she left. And now it was time to secretly get out of bed after she would leave. She felt a little better, maybe good enough to do a little exercise...
