Update [Rita]

Hyde called Rita over the phone and wanted to do somewhat of an update with her. So many things happened that he wanted to talk over with her, just to be on the safe side. Perhaps situations changed for each person, all Hyde could do right now as hope that there wasn’t any bad news to go around and plenty of good news. Hyde found himself waiting around penencia, which is a good place for him to usually hang out as well. “Two birds with one stone I guess.

Rita payed not much mind to the call, having no reason to, and just stepped outside. She went out to wherever they agreed to meet, walking casually with her hands in her pockets. It was starting to get warmer lately so her normal clothing would be exchanged, like a few days before with Sharaku, for something more airy, though different: a frilly white dress over a pair of shorts, coupled with her usual bag hanging off her shoulder.

"Yo, Hyde, what's up?" She didn't give much thought to getting here, honestly, and she wasn't really dressing up, though it may have seemed like it. Dresses weren't her thing most of the time, but they were a nice change of pace. In any case, Rita just called out to him with her regular voice, a neutral smile on her face as would be usual.

“ooooooo…….” Hyde looks at rita up and down and ponders her clothing. ”Feeling like Cinderella today? I guess that the only thing you seem to be missing is the glass slippers. Though, the dress looks nice on you.” Hyde scratched his head and wondered if this was going to be an easy conversation. “To skip ahead, lets see if we are up to speed. Do you know about the broadcasts? When I say broadcasts I mean both of them. The one that the reporter girl hijacked when she spoke out the names of the supernaturally gifted, and the one that Thesis hijacked at san malarus.

"Hah, I dunno, really. I just felt like putting a dress on today." Rita shrugged, still her naturally tomboyish self. Really, her boots didn't match up so well to the image of Cinderella, but she guessed that the dress was neat. Pretty different from a ballroom one, though.

The silvernette raised an eyebrow at Hyde's question. Was there any doubt to this? "I think everyone did. I actually went to the Tower when the first one went on. The second one... I'm not sure what to do about that. Thesis is confusing me, honestly." She'd sigh and brush her bangs from her eyes, trying to keep her hair in check. Thesis seemed to want to lure them to her... but was that really it? This was all confusing, all of it... Angels, Primordials, even people could be some times. What was the point of it all? How annoying. Well, whatever, if they were supposed to catch up, then Rita might as well reveal all her cards.

"Have you heard about the Angels yet? I dunno if you've met Angela or not, but she has good information to give everyone... I'm actually planning on going to talk to her later today. As before, Rita kept her cool, putting on a mostly neutral face as she spoke. Angela should be able to tell her more about what she wanted, if nothing else... hopefully, so that was gonna be a good start. Rita wondered if Hyde knew anything at all, though... did he?

You mean angel? Yea met her, she’s cool.” Hyde would say with a simple shrug. “ Though, I wish she had more information for me, there is only so much that I can go on, I guess the straight forward thing is to check out each world and hope for the best.” Other than that Hyde wanted to talk about something that’s a little more uplifting. “So how’s school? You know, I don’t really know if you joined a club or anything? Are you doing anything as of late? Besides shadow busting I mean.

"Oh, uh, yeah, Angel. Sorry, I call her Angela so I some times forget she introduces herself as Angel. Haha." Rita rubbed her nape before shrugging as well. "Apparently she had really little for me too. Sharaku and I got close to finding an Angel in the Prison's Alternate World, but she gave us no hints on actually finding her. God, that was a hellish run..." Rita looked away, frowning. She didn't want to remember that at all... her side was still sore from that. Stupid frickin' earth... how did this magic stuff work anyway?

"I haven't been going to school lately. I don't feel safe there anymore after the broadcast... I'll come back some time later but I need to focus on the case first." Rita cocked her head slightly to the side, pondering for a moment what to tell him. Well, she was staying with Lia for a few weeks from now on... "I guess the only thing I've been doing aside from investigating is hanging out with Lia. Oh wait, I think I'm the only one who calls her that." She'd stutter a bit and laugh. Everyone knew her as Cuore so Rita really was the odd one out here... well, she preferred to call her best friend by her first name anyway instead of her stage name... it was more personal that way. Sweeter, if you will.

“You stopped going to school? Well, if Alister wanted to do something, he would of done something already. I don’t think he is anything like his brother when it comes to how important his reputation to him. As long as we get good grades I guess. “ Hyde didn’t know who Lia is.”Whose Lia? That’s a random name for me, no clue who that is. And wow, that’s a bummer. I wanted to meet an angel myself. You should bring a butterfly net sometimes. I saw one time in the fairly odd parents show that butterfly nets can catch fairies. Well, they are angels but they are magical and small and stuff…. Wait that sounds stupid.” Hyde would rub his head again and laugh it off. “Well anyway..what now?

"You mean Ariston? Well, he was one of the people listed during the broadcast... he and Simon Alba are relatively interesting to me. I used to see Simon every day when I went to the library, so I dunno how he's involved in this, and Ariston's reputation precedes him, it's impossible not to know him, at least from name..." Rita's face would turn serious for a moment as she pondered her options, bringing one hand to hold her chin while she did so. It was pretty hard to decide on something, really, seeing as she didn't know either of them personally or even really spoke to them aside from the usual greeting exchange when she went to the library with Simon, or whatever happened there... so, really, not counting formal exchanges, she knew neither of them and doubted they knew her as well... though her name being there might set them off in some way or another.

"Right, I knew you wouldn't know her. Most call her Cuore, I just call her Lia because she's my best friend... and something else but, well, whatever." The silvernette blushed slightly and shook her head. She liked Lia a lot, really, but they weren't together... possibly yet. "Wait, you watched that show too? My brother used to turn the TV onto foreign channels just so we could watch that together, I loved it." Her face eased into a cheerful smile while saying this, not too bothered by anything right now. It was honestly just a calm time right now. Rita couldn't afford to get worked up, not while her pain still hadn't healed...

"I really dunno what now. The Angel I searched for didn't seem too keen on showing her face, so all I can do now is hope that I get some other kind of clue. Aside from that... I can't tell myself. I'm just waiting for something to move forward on, really." Rita crossed her arms, frowning slightly. It wasn't that she was mad or anything... but this whole business was really just unnerving. She'd have a few words with Angela once she finished up with Hyde, that was for sure.

Did you find out that you guy were related or something?” That would be an interesting turn of events if she found out that her best friend was actually her real sister. “Oh, by the way. Simon alba has left the building, I have no clue where that guy went. Even the library aide that took is place said that he was on some indefinite leave. Maybe this has something to do with the broadcast and he ducked in another world to be safe? But other than that, aww man, i wanted t help find the angel too.

"Aaaah, no, it would be awkward if we were. Haha. No, I, um... well, if I've admitted it to her, I have no reason to be shy about it... I kinda sorta like her, y'know? Like... like like. Stuff like that. Don't pay too much mind to it, though." Rita shook her head to dismiss anything more about this conversation. It was useless to speak further about it... well, anyway, she just listened a bit as Hyde reporter about his findings... well, that was... interesting.

"Really? I see... I can't say what his motives are, but do you think we should try and look for him? Your team met Thesis before, right? Did she say anything that might be useful? Simon could very well be someone of interest, we can't write that off... either way, what do you think we should do about him?" Rita looked at Hyde with a fairly serious, yet pensive and curious face. She was interested in his reply, to say the least, and really, really would have loved to get any information from him... if possible. Even if they were friends, info was valuable... of course, it wasn't personal. Nothing of this talk was, except the actual friendly exchanges.

Like like? Oh…. So that’s what this is about.” Hyde didn’t judge at all, people are free to like who they want to like. Hyde felt the same way and lived by that decision to like whoever he wants as well. Though he didn’t have too much information to go around. “I don’t know too much of anything, I been slumped with helping my friends face their past in the velvet room. They achieved a new power as a result of it, but the whole setup is like a dungeon, shadows everywhere. So if anything, I’m making sure that my team is getting even stronger along the way, could be nice if we worked some things out. “Something would then go over Hyde’s head.”Oh, also, are you apart of any kind of group or something like that.

"Err, yeah." Rita zipped her mouth shut after this, though figuratively, but still did the gesture physically. Hyde's next piece of info was interesting enough, albeit contradicting of his initial statement. That didn't really matter, though, it was Hyde, after all.

"Oh? That sounds interesting. Was that new power another Persona or something? I can't think of anything else. Or wait, maybe another weapon?" Rita's interest was quite obviously piqued by the sound of this, and her curiosity had the best of her. She wasn't quite apt on questioning others, but sometimes, that just happened naturally, nothing against the people she did so to, though.

"I don't know what you mean? Groups aren't for me, at least not big ones, I don't deal well with those. I just prefer hanging out with one or two people at a time, more than that and I'll be pressed to enjoy myself." The silvernette frowned, not understanding Hyde's question fully. She didn't have a party or a group or anything like that set in stone... she just invited whoever she trusted would be able to help her, that's all.

Mostly based off of persona’s and getting a new one I would like to think. Though, a lot of sensitive information was being shared with us, there were some things that I didn’t necessarily earn the right to see, because those missions could bring out the very worst in people than you could initially think of. That’s why it’s good to have friends, people with you in order to get through those times. I feel as if these are the kind of things you can’t do alone.”
Hyde would then take notice of the ice stall and walk on over. “Let’s get one of these it’s a pretty good day and we shouldn’t waste it. We don’t get hot weather like this too often. Also, you are a small group kind of girl? I wouldn’t of guessed, you see so outspoken and I kind of thought that went hand in hand with being outgoing.

"Ah, got it. So you'd get another Persona from it? Sounds interesting... Nero has been riled up recently so I wonder if I'll get one too. Heh." Rita nodded as Hyde spoke, sighing lightly. "Sensitive information... what do you mean by that? You spoke of a dungeon before, right? Do those have anything to do with each other?" She raised a brow, curious. What was this supposed to be about? Rita had no clue right now, that was for sure, but she was determined on making sure that she got at least a few. After all, if she could prepare beforehand for this, then it wouldn't be so bad, right?

The silvernette glanced over at the ice cream stall when Hyde started moving towards it, and shrugged mentally while following. "Hm, sure. I'm not in the mood for something too heavy so just on vanilla swirl for me." She ordered her ice cream nonchalantly, like always, with a blank face. Rita wasn't too hungry but just a cone wouldn't hurt. "Really? I sound like that? I'm not outgoing at all, I hate having to be around too many people. Honestly, the most people I'd ever hang out with is two, not more than that. Any more and I just... freeze." Rita frowned, shuddering at the thought. Hyde really couldn't have been more wrong about her, but she couldn't seriously blame her. Rita was very introverted and honestly disliked going out of the house, even... really, in truth, she just came out today because she thought it would be useful to her investigation. Though Hyde was a good friend, information... was important to her. She really didn't mind hanging out for a while after they'd caught up on the case, though, that was fine with her.

Nero? Whose that? Your persona? Interesting, I wasn’t expecting it to have a simple name. So far, all of the ones I seen or heard about had something to do with history or something. But I don’t think it’s made to be that obvious, is it? I mean, imagine having Benjamin franklin living inside of your soul or something? “ Hyde really had to try it now, he wondered if he could find a person that had some kind of famous person living in them, like Elvis. “Alright, sensitive information. Imagine all of the darkest moments of your life, turned into monsters with the purpose of ending your life. “ Hyde would say this in a dark tone, then switch back to being happy. “That’s what I mean; it’s the mirror in the velvet room. “
Hyde would order his coconut ice treat and lick it a few times before talking again. “ Anyway, I think I know how to cure you of your social frost! Want to hear it?
