The Velvet Attendants all had their duties, even when the guests were not within the room. Margaret stood behind the bar, tending to the various items for the Velvet Commodities Market that had recently opened. She seemed to be keeping inventory on a sort of clipboard. William stood by the request board with his hands in his pockets and his amber eyes focused towards the board in question. It seemed all the regular requests regarding someone being saved were being completed. Perhaps it was time for him to start mixing up the requests, but he didn't particularly think the current guests could complete them. William didn't think too highly of any of them like Yu, Justine, or his Master with the long nose. Infact, he figured they wouldn't last long in their journey to begin with. Perhaps this attendant was abit too pessimistic. Next on the list was Justine, but her specific job was more of a battle guide to help Persona-Users get used to combat. Seeing as no guests were currently there, she was currently sitting at one of the many chairs while reading a book to pass the time. Unlike the other attendants, she was rather playful if not whimsical with her teachings. Since she wasn't needed all the time, she had alot of free time to read, but she did yearn to leave the Velvet Room sometime during her stay. Not permanently, but to see the world from first person. Oh how she envied her older sister Elizabeth who got to practically neglect her duties and live outside of the room! Last, there was Velvet Attendant Yu. He currently stood across a table from Master Igor, checking his notes with an indifferent expression. "I can't come up with any such conclusions without more clues from our guests. I fear at this rate, Limbo will successfully cross over to even our world. If that happens, I fear what may transpire." Attendant Yu spoke with an formal tone, as he frowned. Were the guests really this carefree not to make serious advances towards solving the mystery of Limbo?

With the rest of the Velvet Attendants all busy with their duties, Attendant Chance felt inclined to offer his/her assistance to their brothers and sisters. With Margaret and William tending to item retrieval and delivery, he figured he could lend a hand by being the proxy between them, and the guests, when items needed to be delivered outside of the Velvet Room. However, Chance believed her main purpose within the mysterious room was information gathering for the guests. For that to occur, s/he'd need to work hand in hand with Attendant Yu, who was the head of notifications when it came to Limbo or the real world. However, even Chance knew Yu had his limits on what sort of information he could gather, simply because he could never leave the Velvet Room like Elizabeth, or Chance herself. Walking up to his brother, Chance would stand beside you in a formal posture, with a wide smile. "Yu-kun, you seem quite troubled. Allow me to assist with your duties. Should I make sure our guests are following the right path without actually being much involved with them? I can continue to remind them that the clues are the only way to reach the truth behind Limbo, if you'd like." Chance offered her assistance, as s/he was really hoping to be of some use like in the past. With Attendant Yu's guidance, Chance believed anything was possible. Her Nii-chan was reliable, after all! Grabbing the tip of his hat, Chance would give a smile. "Making sure to assist the guests is my top priority. You won't have to worry about me disappearing alot like Elizabeth-san. The outside world is not as appealing to me, as it is to her. But my duties will always come first. I feel like I've become quite dejected from society.. Perhaps I need to take time to re-understand humans."

"Ah, Chance-kun I didn't see you there." Attendant Yu gave his sibling a smile as he turned to face them with a hand gently across his chest. "Yes, things are becoming quite troubling, but I'm sure our guests will overcome the impossible. We must have more faith in them." The Attendant gave a nod before closing the pages of his book. " I've noticed you've been so focused on your duties, that you haven't taken the privilege to really get to know our guests, Chance-kun. I have an extraordinary idea for you, if you'd wish to spread your ties and gain more information for your growing business. Why not meet our guests and have them show you around Ueitawa? I can arrange for them to take you out, Chance-kun. I believe you have enough self controlled to see the wonders of the world, yet return back to your rightful place in the end. Also.." Yu's pale face began to turn a slight tint of red as though he was blushing. "I would very much like to hear more of the world beyond these doors. Perhaps you could be my proxy for such a thing, as my duties require me to remain here." In other words, Velvet Attendant Yu was asking for his sibling to go out in the world in his place, and come back and explain to him the wonders of Ueitawa. "I could arrange for you to get Velvet Coins if you do this task for me. I hope you do not mind, Chance-kun."

The Amber Eye'd Attendant would give a few blinks before crossing her arms and closing her eyes. "I-I will do whatever is needed to assist you, Nii-chan." It wasn't as though Chance was scared to venture out into the human world, or was scared to speak to the guests directly. More like, s/he didn't want to compromise her duties. The Attendant was solely created just to assist, but there was always that wall between the guests and the attendants. If Chance was to leave the Velvet Room and invest time with the guests when business wasn't related, s/he feared he would grow accustomed to them. And if that were to happen, s/he knew that s/he would end up neglecting his duties altogether. The thought made Chance almost tremble as s/he lifted a hand and grasp the top of his hat. Maybe it was worth the risk to help her brother through his time of need? Yes, of course! This was his purpose after all. To assist. "Yu-san, I will do my best to make you satisfied! I will record all the information I can, and when I get back you'll see all the wonders of the world!" With this new second wind, Chance gave a salute to her brother before making a stride towards the Velvet door. However, she would stop just before and rub her head. "Umm, hopefully I don't get lost. I suppose I should ask them to show me around." The Attendant nodded to himself before opening the blue colored door and exiting the Velvet Room to cross into the Human World.
