| Ah well. If she did this professionally, it wasn't much of a surprise that she didn't know off the top of her head. Her schedule must be booked or something. Maybe she played gigs like that all the time. Who knew? With having an agent and all, he wouldn't be surprised if it was all of the above. "I'll keep a lookout for you then. Maybe I'll see you up on stage sometime." After a short bob of the head, he dropped that topic.
Chuckling lightly, he gave her a nod. "All 'bout that bass, huh? Yeah, the beat's important to me too. If I can't lose myself in it, it's just not good music." That's what music was all about, right? Getting swept up in it, feeling something, losing yourself somehow in those few minutes? ...Heh, maybe a bit of a strange way to look at it, he realized, but maybe his more thoughtful approach was the thing that balanced out his otherwise atrocious talent when it came to music.
The trees were starting to thin and the main trail was coming back into sight. Not even a minute later, Julian would step onto the trail and pause, pointing up ahead. Should the girl look, she'd easily be able to see the ocean and the station itself not even a mile ahead. "Well, there it is. Wasn't so hard to get to, right?"

| See? This was a kid that knew his music. Phew, most people here seemed to either not care about music or had the weirdest tastes... At least this kid was raised with some sense in that head of his! Always nice to hear that a fellow music lover had good taste these days.
"Yep, I'll play ya a song if I see ya in the crowd, aight? Just make sure I see ya~." the DJ said with a light laugh, the tease obvious in her tone. Jest and all... She valued a good relationship built on teases, that is. Best sort of a relationship, yo.
"Yah, exactly! You'd be surprised how many people don't give the beat a second thought!" the DJ said with a laugh. It was true, though... Modern tastes were all over the place; a main reason why becoming a musician was such a hard take these days. Being indie was helpful... The indie crowd was rad to say the least, though, the DJ was content with what she produced. It was nice knowing there was a back up in case DJing ever stopped being popular, yo. Music was still music... And as long as she was enjoying making music, she didn't mind what she did in all honesty.
"Ah, phew! You're a life saver, kid! Guess I definitely owe you that song now, huh?" she said with a giggle, walking a bit towards the station before turning around, smiling warmly towards the teen. "The name's Rin by the way. DJ Ri Rain is what the crowd calls me! Hook me up some time, aight? It'd be rad to hang with ya, kid." the DJ said with a laugh before walking towards the path that led home. It was right there connected to the station as well. She'd wave once more to the teen before walking off, ready to be home and take a shower!~Exit~ | |
