Ranger Meeting Two: The Quest for More Angels (Rangers Only)

Nagisa held her breath before she got a hold of Angel's hand and the sensation she felt overwhelmed her. She felt more powerful and sure than before while at the same time a certain tranquility ruled over her mind. She saw her persona Euryale appear in frond of her and for the first time she thought she saw her persona smile. "With this new power you will embrace your true self. You are no longer the person you used to be a few months ago as you have now found your true calling, with this new power you will no longer watch from the back lines but take an active part in your quest... and we shall achieve that together." The serpent-like woman said as she was set ablaze by a golden fire. She didn't seem to bother or be in any particular pain. "All this time you have experienced the pain of others and even without realizing you made it your own. Your rock heart has soften up and that is both a curse and a blessing. Your pain has only just began but through it you will finally realize your true potential





Nagisa didn't know what triggered Euryale's chance but she could feel the nature of her persona change turning into something different just like she did when she accepted the offer Angel provided. "The road you chose when you accepted Philemon's offer is neither easy nor happy but alas you don't have to do it alone. Heed my advice sweet child for this is the only way to achieve happiness. The persona said before she disappeared again leaving Nagisa behind. They say that the persona is a mirror of one's true self, did that meant that Nagisa felt that way deep inside her or was this advice given to her because she was now connected with Angel? Either way she would have a lot to think when she returned home. She remained silent still overwhelmed by the turn of the meeting.

They felt the power that the Angel was giving them, taking it for their own use. As their vision blured, they would be giving a vision of Genovefa, though she seemed a bit happier than she had been before. "Kid, you did great! Heha. You're gonna be stronger than this, and in turn, that makes me way stronger too! You've developed me further, and it feels great. Heha. Catchya around kid!" Like Nagisa, they would see the persona burst into golden flames, her laugh dying out around her. The golden flames would quickly construct back together, making... "SIKE! Heha, you still need me. So let's work harder, 'kay?" Genovefa seemed the same, but a bit more powerful for some reason. The persona would laugh more as her image faded out more. Coming to, Quinn would look down to see their evoker sitting in their hand. It had changed, every silver accent was changed to gold. "Whoah. That was kinda cool man..."

It took Jack a few moments to get his barrings back... That... was quite the change. It felt... Really weird. Weird in both a good and a bad way. Kinda like eating to much pudding. On the one hand you can still taste the sweet chocolaty pudding in your mouth.... But on the other hand you got a stomach ache and you feel kinda bloated and fat.... Told ya it was a weird feeling...

"Miss.Divine... I thank you for giving us the power to fight back! However... I have only one more question... The corruption... There must be a way to stop it before it starts. I've seen what happened to Zela... I couldn't bare to see the same happen to a place where families have made their lives. Please.... Tell us how to stop the devastation before it begins."

Nagisa turned at Jack and then back at Angel. She didn't understand the purpose of the question, surely if the she knew how to stop the corruption she would have told them then again angels were not normal beings, perhaps she couldn't tell me unless they ask her or perhaps she didn't trust them enough before they swore to work for her. So there was a meaning behind Jack's words.

"Even if you are not certain about it any leads will be helpful. It would be terrible if the corruption were to infect more angels. At the very least you must know a way we can protect you. It would terrible for all of us if something like that happened to you."

Quinn stayed quiet as Jack spoke; it seemed he wanted a bit more answers even though the angel might not want to answer anything at the moment. Of course they barely had anything to say because they had only joined the team officially a few minutes before. Thinking for a second, they would begin to speak but stop themself before anything important came out. Being quiet at the moment was the best idea, and speaking out might not give them any brownie points with the angel or the other two there.

"It all comes down to that doesn't it..." Jack sighed... Thesis...The big boss... The last foe that they would have to face. Jack knew that she had to be defeated in order to finaly bring this all to an end... But Jack also knew that he was no where near strong enough to take her on as he was. Even with his persona's new power he was no match for the primordial monster... He still needed to get stronger...

"She's still at that stadium right?... Even with these new powers I doubt we could stand up to her right now... Is there any way we can slow her progress? To impede her in any way? Or is the only thing we can do train to defeat her?"

"Anything you might know will help. It's not just us, many people want to end this madness as well so if we can somehow hold her at bay until we amass more power we can defeat her and put an end in her reign of chaos before it even begins." Nagisa added to Jack's words. Thesis was probably one of the strongest beings in this planet there was no way they could face her yet. They needed a strategy, a well crafted one, and in order to do that they needed time.

Quinn felt like there was nothing they could speak of at the moment, since the information they knew wasn't enough for this situation. Holding the open parasol over their shoulder, they would curtsy a bit towards the angel and their teammates. "I'd like to excuse myself; this conversation is something I can't contribute to at all." Turning, they'd make their way towards the exit. "I look forward to working with you Angel." They made their way towards the exit, which would leave them a bit disorientated as the sun hit their face. Without wasting much time, Quinn started towards the waiting car, taking off towards their home island. Sure this entire experience was enlightening, but they couldn't help but feel tired after taking that new power. When would they be able to use it next?

Darn... so it really did just come down to beating Thesis huh... Well. No point in delaying it."Alright.... Thank you Angel. For everything you've done. We now have the power we need to ensure humanities future thanks to you..." Jack would turn to the exit and begin to take his leave"We've got a LOT of work to do Rangers! So lets not waist time! Oh.. and before I go..." Jack smiled to angel one last time before stepping through the exit.

"I'll come by a little later with some more DVDs. Heck maybe we could watch em together! Catch ya around Angel... Later!" With that Jack stepped through the exit... momentarily reflecting on the series of events that lead him here....
