Ranger Meeting Two: The Quest for More Angels (Rangers Only)

Nagisa huh? They could’ve sworn they had seen her around before; maybe she was popular at school or something? Either way, they couldn't help but feel this questioning thought that kept tugging at them a bit, something about her was off. Though they had a suspicion, they would never ask her if she was trans unless they were closer to her. The boy with Mae didn't talk to them, which made remembering names easier. Following the other rangers closely, they would move through the door and drop down into an apparent meeting place. "Intresting..." Since they barely knew what to do, they would stay quiet to observe everything that would happen from this point onward.

Felling a little... Over the top today, Jack decided to do a few flips and twirls in the air before landing safely on the ground with nary a hair out of place. He would land with a crouch, both arms flung out to the side in a style that probably only looked cool to him. That was only made more apparent once he mumbled to himself about how Bad ass he was. He would stand up straight and wave to Miss.Divine playfully before turning to help any of his fallen comrades back to their feet. "Don't worry guys you get used to it. Just think of it as jumping off the swing and you'll be able to land just fine. Heh"

After everyone had landed he would turn to face Miss.Divine and smile"It's good to see you again Miss.Divine. Have you checked out those DvD's I lent you? I picked Gosaiger because I thought you might get a kick from the Angel Theme heh. Anyway! Let's get down to business shall we? A few days ago you told me to gather a group of teenagers with attitude. To that end I called forth my rangers and together we have come back here, unified in the desire to free humanity from those who wish to chose our future for us. We have come to ask you for your aid in our journey...So please... allow us to introduce ourselves properly..."


Jack would hold his pose as he waited for his friends to fallow suite

Wait seriously!? They're doing the poses!? Kazuya is too shy to do that. He is not the 'Jack' type of person after all. Whatever, he must stay with the team. "I'm... i'm... Ka..." he was already blushing furiously there and he has a really meek voice as he introduced himself. "Im Kazuya Fujiwara, the blue... blue..." he blushed even more furiously until he can't take it anymore. "Sorry guys! i can't do this!" he shouted, covering his face, as he run for the exit as fast as he can. Well, that was strange. I hope it doesn't offend the rangers though. I guess Kazuya will see them on the next mission. As he exited the tower, Kazuya's blush was gone and he went straight back to his home peacefully.

The fall had come as a shock for Mae. It was a tower... Why would they be falling if they were on the bottom... Floor? "KYAAAAH!" She screamed off the top of her lungs as she fell. This was it... the end... Or so she thought. Charles helped her to a safe and smooth landing. "T-Thanks, Charles." Mae looked at him. He had caught her just before she landed, and found herself in his arms. "U-um... Y-you can put me down now..." Her cheeks turned pink. Regardless of what Charles decided to do, the angel approached them... Mae gave Charles a worried look. She recognized that face from the Broadcast... So this was Miss Divine, eh? Then the angel started talking.

"Nice to meet you, Angel... I'm Mae Iharu, Ranger... uh... Pink." No way she was going to strike a silly pose like that. However, she remained on site. After all, she wanted to hear Miss Divine out. Kazuya didn't seem too eager about it, as he left... Was he hiding something from the other rangers? Maybe. Not that it was important right now. All that mattered right now was the angel, and what she was going to do in order to assist them...

Charles was ready for the sudden freefall, unlike Mae, apparently. He wasn't gonna let her fall flat down, so he caught her, simple as that! It felt good, carrying her in his arms for that split second... Until she realized what kind of a spot the two found themselves in. When she turned as pink as her yogurth hair he let go, having a apologetic face. "A-ah, sorry!" He held his hands up in defense before looking away from her, holding his arm and rubbing it, as if it had a sore spot. "Y-you okay..? I didn't mean to..." He murmured, his voice trembling. Ugh, what was this uneasiness he felt in his heart!?

He forced himself to look back as he felt Mae's look at the back of his head. Yeah, she was worried about this. Angel wasn't someone they could trust. Jack's belief in her was foolish. He looked up at her, taking a step forward so that he stood half between her and Mae, blocking Mae's left shoulder with his right. He noticed his name up there. It was true, as it seemed-this girl kept a record of all of them. He frowned. "Charles." He muttered, not taking his eyes off of her. Kazuya ran off in the meantime. It didn't matter, though. Him and Blaez were the only ones left standing with Israfel and, while it hurt him to think so, they might've formed some contract with him back then. It was merely a logical assumption. Anyways, he kept his eyes on the Angel, awaiting any response from any of them.

Nagisa felt a bit envious of Mae and she wondered if her landing would have been less painful if Blaez was here to help her. She stood up and after she cleaned the dust from her expensive dress she scanned the area. A few moths later she couldn't believe that she was going to work with that strange lady who appeared on the national TV but now Angel was standing in from of them with a the same annoying face she had back then. Despite her apparent good intentions Angel irritated Nagisa, she used to think that she was behind all this after all and old habits die hard.

Just like Rita's brother had said to her she noticed a list of names, were all these people persona users or the list also included people like Blaez and robots like Charles, thankfully her question was answered when she noticed both their names in the list along with several others, she made a mental note to take a picture of it later or ask Angel to give her a copy of it. "My name is Nagisa Sugihara, officially I have the title silver ranger in the team, not that I'm particularly fond of it but I'm not the one who makes that kind of decisions here." She said as she beamed at Jack. "As about why we are here. I'm sure Jack will get to it soon, you know how...flamboyant her can be from time to time, no?"

Of course they didn't know as much as these guys knew about angels, but the slight briefing did help a bit. The landing was a little more painful than they had thought it would be, especially since all of their focus went on keeping their skirt from flying up on them. After they stood up and took in their surroundings, they would listen to everyone, opting to be quiet while they all spoke. It was a bit awkward, especially since they had just met everyone today. After they found a spot in the conversation where they could introduce themself to the angel, they would take it. "My name is Quinn Ayers, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm the Rainbow Ranger." It was awkward to say that but maybe they'd get used to saying it after awhile. 'Do ya really have to pose? Heha...' They were about to do a Pink Argus post, but instead they decided to just hold their parasol over their shoulders; they usually looked like that anyways.

"Awww... Come on guys? Can we have a group Henshin once? For me? And... eh! K-Kaz! Where are you going!?" Jack turned just in time to see Kazuya bolt from the waiting room. Bleaz he could understand. He was never one for the idealistic future or the promise of rangery duties... Often Jack would wonder why Blaez even joined in the first place... but... He would remind himself that Bleaz must have his own reason for the way he dose things, and Jack is in no position to question him... but Kaz?... Kaz has always been about the Rangers. Why would he just bolt... He had to have a reason... "Kazyua...."

Jack would question this more, however his attention was drawn away Miss.Divine's questions."Heh... If you want me to speak for them I can't say... But if I had to hazard a guess it would be that they don't quite trust you yet." Jack would nod along with the rest of Angel's questions before tapping his chin in thought"So you want me to define my wish eh?... Alright. I guess it is time to put this in writing... The world that I would wish for, is one that is very close to our own. On the surface it would look a lot like the one we currently live in... every day people would wake up and live their lives the way they chose. If they chose to live good lives then so be it. If they want to become criminals and tempt the law then that is their choice, though there will always be those willing to stop them... However... The one true difference would be that we would work together... yes... together. Each of us would turn to our brother and sisters and work in tandem to better our world with our own blood, sweat, and tears. I wish for a world of understanding, where one man's ideals are never tossed aside as useless. Where we stand side by side against the threats that were created by our forefathers. In short. I want a world were humans work together to better their world in accordance to their own ideals, a world of true democracy... that is my world. However, if we let another decide that world for us... We will never learn to stand on our own two feet, and we will never reach our full potential...But..." Jack would turn and smile to his gathered friends. each meaning the world to him.

"That's just the musings of one idealistic Power Ranger... My friends... Please... tell me... If you could change the world... If you could remake the world in your image... What world would you create?"

"Geez... That's a really deep and difficult question, Jack... But if I had the ability to change the world on that level... I... feel like Jack's ideal is the way to go... We're not gonna get anywhere by forcing a future on people who does not want or need it... I support his idea, to an extent... I'm just... not sure what to do yet. Once I've seen what the other angels offer, I'll return to you, with my answer. I'm not denying it now. I just... want to see what options I have before choosing one... Because if we want to stop the primordials, we need to fight together under one banner... And seeing people Join different angels, might cause some internal strife. Everyone want's their ideals to become reality... And in the end, my friends and loved ones matter more to me than anything else..." Mae's grip on Charles' hand tightnened.

Charles followed the monologues closely, keeping his defensive post. He had no real opinion on the subject. The world was how it was supposed to be. Why were they all so eager to change it? In this world, he met Mae and everyone else. Wasn't that enough? Maybe he was being too simple-minded when thinking that but... What if in the changed world, none of this existed? It was dangerous, yes, but it brought them all together and he didn't want it to disappear. It wasn't until Mae spoke that his train of thought stopped and his defensive stature dropped. He turned over to Mae, looking at her with a confused face. She only wanted to keep them all safe, he was sure of it. She was never satisified with the current situation and with all the Persona related things... Jack's world would've given them safety and happines. She wanted that feeling of certainty. If Charles spoke up against the idea... what impact would it have had on her? He decided to keep shut and just nod, smiling a little bit, happy that Mae postponed the decision-making. They were gonna first go meet the other Angels and then decide. Maybe, by then, they're gonna have a better grasp at everything. "I-I'm with Mae." He felt her hand tighten around his and he turned back to look at Angel, avoiding making eye contact with Jack. He was sort of avoiding the whole question he set. He didn't want him to give him one of the curious looks...

Nagisa realized that there were a lot of different opinions about how the world ought to be and that was fine, after all it was within the human nature to be unique. "I am going to be honest I'm not particularity bothered with the current status quo of this world. I am in a very good position and even though my life is far from perfect I believe that I can find happiness in it. However, this world is no longer safe. Just like Mae said the primordials must be stopped and I'm willing to use every mean in my disposal to achieve that. That's why we need your blessing, I'm not strong, I know that and under normal circumstances I wouldn't mind that much. But I can't afford this now, we are the only ones who can stop this."

At that moment Nagisa made a small pause to study Angel. She wasn't used speaking about her beliefs or explaining them so boldly, it was such a weird sensation. "Please...we beg of you. Help us defeat those monsters and protect humanity from the biggest enemy it has faced so far."

A world that Quinn thought would be the ideal world? That was really simple, that they didn't need time to think about it. "I want a world that's similar to ours, but less judgmental and more accepting. Where everyone can feel comfortable being who they are. Of course to do that you would have to remove religion in general, it's nice to dream." Laughing a bit, they would finish off their point. "Oh! And I want a world where Magical people exist, but that might be asking for way too much. Honestly the first one would be great because a world without gender norms and anything condescending would fit me perfectly." Sure it might be too much to ask for an ideal world, but it was worth a shot. "I'm with them though, I'm sure we'd need your help in the long run. I'd be happy if you lent it to us."
