| Hikaru was strolling down the halls, happily waving at everyone who waved to him. He didn't know them all that well; they were simply his classmates, and Hikaru found little else to be interested in with them. Jack, on the other hand, was a very interesting guy. He always seemed to act in a comical way, although his thoughts might be less cheerful. There was something about him that reminded Hikaru about Kumiko. Dismissing his train of thought, Hikaru flipped through the book he had been holding. "Kumiko says that she got this for me when she got to travel to Florida in America. She knows me very well."
The book was titled "Transcendentalism: A Simpler Life". According to Kumiko, it was a very interesting movement that flowed through America at one point, inspiring poems, books, and a new way of thinking. Hikaru had decided to do some reading over transcendental authors, and he hoped that the expansive school library would have any book to quench his desire to learn.
As he browsed the isles of books, he spotted the book of interest, Nature by Emerson, and pulled it out of the stand. He set the library book as well as his personal book at the nearest table. Only then did he realize that somebody was sitting across from him. "Oh, sorry. Is this seat taken?" |

| Mari was given some time off from her duties in the government room, seeing as they can handle it themselves, she thought she'd go about and explore. She hasn't gotten the chance to look around the place much, other then between classes and bit after them. Today she decided to head toward the Library, there was this recipe she wanted to try out for the shop but hadn't found the time to look for it. As she strode through the hallways the students that passed by glared, probably because she took the position of disciplinary. They probably didn't trust her enough, seeing as they didn't know her as well as having to take measures to gossip seriously.
She kind of ignored them as she continued further through the hallways toward the double doors that lead to the library. In there, dozens of long isles filled with different books, audio books and videos. She walked through one of the isles in search of two things, one of which was the baking book, that she planned on reading. The second was a much larger book, that can have the baking book hidden within it. She made sure that no one was around as she hid the book within the other.
She found a secluded table, where she was able to read in peace. But without a moments notice, another student found himself at the same table. He appologized before asking if he could sit there along with her. She started to panic a bit but as long as he didn't walk over to her side, she'd be fine. "Sure, it's fine. I'm just reading about.......Male Genitalia." She said in a disappointed tone. It seems that when she was walking back toward the table and just grabbed a book on the way there, she didn't think that, it'd be something like this. Her face became beat red as she hid her face within the book. | |

| Male genitilia? Either she was lying, or... maybe he didn't choose the right table to sit at. Whatever the reason, she seemed upset with him. Hopefully he could find a new conversation to draw her interest. He examined the larger book she was reading from. He could clearly make out the title "The Complete Works of Sarah Margaret Fuller." According to his own book, Fuller was a transcendentalist as well. "Aha! A connection! Now, let's see if this will open her up a little." Hikaru calmly sweeped his hair to the side and engaged the girl in conversation. "Ah, Margaret Fuller. Are you interested in the transcendentalists? It's a pretty neat movement. I have a book about their collective works right here, as well as this book from Emerson. I never thought anyone around here knew about them.
Ah, sorry. I really shouldn't be bothering you. My name's Hikaru Ryouichi, and if you want me to shut up at any time, I will." |
