Arrival (Lost) //OPEN//

After saying goodbye to both Katzuya and Sharaku, Mae turned around towards the Dorm entrance. She was pretty exhausted from the trip over here, and getting to her new room was something she's longing for. Despite how eager she was to get her new room, she hesitated slightly before opening the door. "It's normal to be nervous at a time like this right?" she thought to herself, before taking a deep breath to calm herself down, as she grabbed her trunk and opened the doors.

The lobby was basically empty on people, with the exception of a lone student sitting on the couch, listening to music. The lobby felt very homey and welcoming. A good first impression coming from a School dorm. Then again, Zela Academy is a pretty large school, so naturally the dorms should be in tip top shape.

"Umm, Excuse me...?" Mae tried to grab the other students attention. She walked up to him, smiling. "Hey, I'm Mae Iharu. I'm the new transfer student. Is it you who I'm supposed to talk to regarding my room assignment? Or is it someone else?".  

Mae:

Nilo looked up from the old music player in his hands to look up at the girl. He took off his head phones to better hear her with before responding. To be honest, he had just moved into the dorms as well. He smiled politely, as was normal for the albino boy,

"Sorry... I just moved in as well... I know the girl dorms are the opposite direction of the boy dorms so... They should be... Some where..." he stood up at that, looking around the lobby for any kind of map. He sighed and shook his head, muttering something under his breath. "... Well, you said someone was going to help you to your room... I can assist you in finding them if you'd allow it."

"... My name's Nilo by the way..." he said with a bow of his head. "Welcome to Azores and Zela Academy."

"Oooh, such a gentleman! It's nice to meetcha', Nilo. Which class are you in?". Mae asked cheerfully. She really appreciated Nilo helping her out here. "Is it always this empty on Sundays?" Mae looked around. Sure enough... Not a soul in sight. "You'd think there should be at least someone showing up to meet me here...".

Mae had never been to a school dorm like this before, so she really didn't know how things normally work in these kinds of places...

Nilo nodded and smiled towards Mai, walking over to the desk in hopes of finding something out about the dorm's room structure. He listened to Mai's words whilst looking, responding in a polite and well mannered voice.

"... Well... You've moved at an interesting time... Azores has been experiencing weird phenomenons... Everyone is quite stressed at this..." he said in an apologetic tone, "I think most of the students are at home or leaving the islands with their families... Its quite chaotic..." he said with a sigh, still sifting through the desk's contents.

"Is it really that bad? Well, that explains why there's nobody here..." Weird phenomenons? And people are moving away from the island because of them? "Do you know anything at all about these events? And what are you looking for exactly?" Mae looked over Nilo's shoulder in an attempt to get a good glimpse of what he was doing. He was looking through the drawers for something.

"Umm... You want some help with that?"

"... It's hard to describe... Honestly, it'd be easier to show you..." he said with a light sigh, scooting over to allow Mai to help him on his search, "I'm looking for dorm numbers and the likes... Like, a seating chart but for the dorms..." he said with a light sigh, continuing to search.

In all honestly, he was quite surprised Mai hadn't noticed the rifts that had opened around Azores. He wondered if people could adapt to them... Or even if they'd go away after everything was over with. He didn't know and brushed his thoughts out of his head, deciding to focus on the task at hand.

Eddie had made it to Zela Academy, even thought it wasn't that hard to find but he still took it as an accomplishment! He was standing in front of the entrance which of he believes is the dormitory, taking in the surroundings. "Smaller than I thought it would be...." He said slight dissapointed in the size of the building. "Might be bigger on the inside?" Sighing, he walked into the lobby too see that it was almost empty. It was quite cozy, more looked like a lobby for an lawsuit firm than anything. Eddie then saw a couple of people in the back, looked like they where searching through a filing cabinet. Pushing the idea's he though were silly out of his mind like, "Maybe they're looking for the some type of weapon's cache" but he remembered that they were at an dorm and the cabinet was too small for something like that. Tightening the duffle bag on his back, he decided to go and ask them. "H-hey! What'cha doing?"

Mae began helping Nilo looking through the drawers. After a couple of minutes of searching, she found something which looked like floor-plans of the dorm. "Is this it?" Mae showed Nilo the papers. The facility was split up in two smaller dorms. One for the girls, and one for the boys. There were two staircases going up one floor from the lobby, both of them leading to their respective dorm. There were also three doors in the lobby. The one to their right lead to the kitchen. Behind the door to their left lead to a commonroom where everyone could hang out, and the last door lead to the basement.

The entrance door suddenly swung open, and a newcomer entered the room. The new guy muttered something to himself, looking around the dorm. It didn't take long before he noticed Mae and Nilo.

"Hey! We were just looking for the floor plans. I'm new here, so Nilo here is helping me look for the Dormitory Chairman." She smiled at him before proceeding. "I'm Mae Iharu! A new 3rd year transfer student! Pleased to meetcha'!"

Nilo looked up at Mae's find, smiling at the paper. It was exactly what they needed to find the girl's new dorm room as well as now having a convenient map of the place. "... Good job, you found what we needed." he said with a light smile, tugging at his hoodie's sleeve with a light thought before looking at the map. "... Um... Using the map... Your room should be here?" he said, pointing to an empty room in the girl's dormitory. Before he continued though, he looked up at the new presence, seeming to shrink a little.

The boy didn't do well in crowds, and the one more person made him a little on edge. With an inner sigh he put on a polite smile, nodding his head to the new comer. "Hello, my name is Nilo Lockwood. Are you new here as well?" he asked with a very polite and temperament voice.

Eddie was flabbergasted at how energetic Mae was. Giving a small, quick salute Eddie said, "Name's Eddie Flynn, a new 3rd year student as well. Nice you meet you both." He then saw the paper in Nilo's hand, wondering if his room was on it to. He began to closer to them but stop a few feet away from them. He didn't like to be nice to people he didn't know and rather be a safe distance away in cause something happened. "Could you see if my room is on there please?" he said weakly, slowly moving away from the two. Starting to get nervous, Eddie begins rubbing the back of his neck, while looking around the room a bit for a place to sit. He decided to sit on the couch closest to them.

"We're looking fir for the Dorm Chairman. It's him you want to talk to. Why not come with us?" Mae smiled at Eddie. "So, where do you think we'll find the chairman?" She turned back to Nilo. "Is he or she even here today?" Now that would be a predicament. If the chairman wasn't here, or anyone else who's been here for a while... Finding the assigned rooms would be quite difficult. Assuming of course they aren't tagged. "You know, while we're looking, can't you show us around, Nilo-kun?" Mae smiled at Nilo. She wanted to know what the dorms were like. If she were lucky, she might even get to meet some of the other students.

Nilo sighed and looked down at the paper, not really sure what to say. The paper had a vague lay out, not really pinpointing who owned which room. Regardless, he put on his polite smile before speaking.

"... Well, I'm not sure where the chairman is at... But we could probably find the principal... She knows, well... Everything about the school." he said with a light smile, placing the paper onto the desk. "I'd be happy to show you there so that we can get a lay out of the dorms, is that okay?" he asked politely.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, sure, why not." Getting up from the couch, Eddie decided to follow them. "Might as well." He said as he shrugged, it was better getting lost in a building with god knows what. Eddie wanted to ask Nilo where everybody was, he remembered that he didn't see that many people on the way to the dorms.... well he didn't see anybody. He didn't know if something happened or people are just graduating at a irregular pace or something. "Hey, Nilo was it? Where is everybody? I didn't see that many people on my way here. Did something happen or what? Eddie thought "If fog starts rolling in and a lot of doors are locked on the inside, I'm outta here."

"Hehe... Great!" Mae smiled back at Eddie. After Nilo sighed, Mae took a glance at the Floor Plans, and immediatley understood why he had reacted in the way he did. The Floor Plans wasn't helpful in the slightest for Mae and Eddie's current situation!

"The principal is here? At our dorm?" She asked Nilo, not expecting much of an answer out of him. I mean, how could any of the three possibly know if the principal was truly here or not.

"Thanks for all the help Nilo. We really appreciate it. She gave Nilo a gentle smile before Nilo gave the newly arrived a tour of the Dorms.

"So... Where are you two guys from?" Mae asked while the trio were on their way to the Girl Dorms. It's better to have a healthy conversation than awkward silence. "I'm from Miyazaki. It's a city near the south coast of Japan."

"Me? I'm from Mother Russia!" He said while using a horrible Russian accent."Truthfully, I'm from Santa Monica. It's a city in Los Angeles, if you didn't know. Eddie didn't really know why he's telling them this, maybe he's comfortable around the duo? He looked at Mae, 'Japan' he thought. Eddie then looked at the Floor Plans, "What the fuck?" Eddie took the Floor Plans out of Nilo's hands, trying to understand it more. "Was this drawn by infant? It just shows the basic's.... Mumbling, Eddie followed the two while looking over the Floor Plans, getting slightly annoyed at oh simple it was.
