Nilo sighed and shook his head, it seemed his plan had failed. He didn't expect a direct answer to begin with, but now he got absolutely nothing now... It didn't matter now, as the Reporter had finished and couldn't continue any longer. This is why he wished to stay quiet, to avoid wasting time on pointless questions like his. He didn't know what to rightfully do now, he needed to take a side but now he was no where closer to finding the side he wanted to side with... It annoyed and stressed him out to say the least.

He chose not to respond to what the Reporter had to say this time, further information out of her would prove to be pointless in his mind. He did notice the ripples though, an anomaly the Reporter had stated that someone was awakening. He glanced at Jack, a sudden wave of worry coming over him. He was dragged into this because of him, and that terrified him. Fate ran these things... But if he didn't choose a side, then everything would go wrong... Humanity could be in danger...

This hurt his head now, the information he was trying so hard to understand scaring him now. It was to much... This wasn't like Shadows and Persona, this was life or death of the human race! He looked down at the ground, becoming utterly silent as he awaited something to happen next.

The First Broadcast - Page 3 LQ6l0cZ
"Changing what humanity is seems counter-intuitive to me. After all, if the essence of humanity is altered, can we truly call it humanity still?"

They made a good argument, but the reporter's words didn't ring true to Rita, especially after saying that... changing what humanity is about is simply foolish, but she didn't expect a divine, who supposedly only observed humans to understand that. After all, things that weren't human or at least identified themselves as human couldn't possibly have a concept of humanity, right? That'd be silly. Regardless, this Angel seemed very eager to get them on her side, and it sounded to Rita as if she was somewhat desperate, if only slightly... of course, there was no way that she could confirm this for sure without possibly offending the reporter.

"This all seems very complicated and I trust for good reason, but I do have a simple question... if you want us to side with you so much, why have you not given us your name yet? I feel like if we were to get better acquainted, all of us would have more reason to join you. However, I do think that there is another choice in this matter, and I'm sure that you know about it too..." Sighing slightly, Rita brushed her hair back, then took a step forward, just as the ripples started. Of course, the silvernette would be able to keep her balance -albeit with some effort- so she wouldn't fall on top of the Angel. It was an honestly perplexing thought to think that someone else aside from Jack was awakening here, if the Angel's words were to be trusted, and that made Rita close her eyes and shake her head, dissipating the possibility in her mind that they'd have to fight someone here yet.

The First Broadcast - Page 3 ZmB0cGv
"Regardless of that... if what you said to Jack is true, then why would we wish to side with the Divine in the first place? I believe that what Humankind wishes for is not to be ruled by a higher force or to ascend into them as well, but to rule themselves over their own kind in peace. That is my wish for humanity. I idealize a world where the truly strong lead the weak to their hidden strength, and not only guide them through their difficulties, but also in their highest hour. Of course, though, the stronger ones wouldn't do all the work, that would just be idiotic. I believe that humans don't need a God to rule over them, nor Angels to take care of them. We're perfectly able to rule our own world, and we won't stand for someone trying to take that from us. That is my "Reason"."

With that said, Rita'd turn her back to the Angel and walk over to Jack, offering him a hand to help him up, seeing as he fell down while gaining his Persona. It seemed as if he was a promising man in this whole ordeal, one that would most likely last until the end... or, at least, he struck Rita as that.

"Congratulations on receiving your Persona. What you do with it is your choice, I hope that our paths don't make us oppose each other." Whether he took the hand or not, after that was done, Rita would turn back at the Angel with her hands pocketed, Apeiron tweeting a few soothing notes around the room in the style of a lagging record, with a few hiccups. "However... don't get me wrong, Divine. I believe that Angels and Humans can indeed coexist, but not in the way most people see it. As different races, the Divine and Humankind can live together in one world, not as slaves, protectors or even kings, but perhaps as siblings. Nothing would make me happier than that. That said, though, I do not mind cooperating with you to stop Thesis and her brother, but I hope you understand that I won't stand for taking orders." Truthfully, Rita was quite a confusing girl, more so than many would expect but, regardless, her ideas were set in stone. If humanity were to prosper, it would have to be through its own strength, that was Rita's Reason.

"Will that work for you, Divine? I would still need your name for that kind of cooperation, however. I hope that we can reach an understanding." Rita was eager to take this situation into her own hands, and if she could get a Divine's help with it, then that much the better. It would take a while, but Rita would fulfill her Reason, no matter what it took.

Changing humanity like that...but why? Was that the only way to stop this? Not that living was awesome up till now, but there was no guarantee that it would be any better if humans changed in some way. Besides, Sharaku was losing the point a little. Stopping Thesis, fine. Why did they have to do their own thing afterwards then? It didn't seem like a requirement to win, so? Things have worked the way they were for a long time now. Why force a change just because, from whatever kind of God it'd be coming? He wasn't really sure what were the Angels after, really. Humans weren't like them, and it was unlikely they would ever be. Rita's question on this point was interesting, but he didn't really have anything to add to it right now.

''I'd second that. You know our names, have told us the names of the supposed enemies, but not your own yet. Or are we supposed to just call you an Angel? Makes it seem a little bit one-sided.'' He had to agree with Rita on that one. Making acquaintanes with someone you don't even know by name is foolish by nature, even if their words sound plausible enough. There was still no concrete proof, however, but that was for another time.

The First Broadcast - Page 3 Tumblr_mforxbKXkL1renv6go4_250

She was making quite the party out of this, that was for sure. ''Humans value their freedom, yes. I believe, that in the end, most will want to act on their own accord, instead of following what a higher being wants. You can't truly change that. Humans move in their own way, and forcing any kind of change on them will only end in a sort of chaos. Even if it's only the Chosen ones, as you put it, I find it hard to believe this would be settled easily. Why do you aim to change humans in the first place? We've lived as we were so far, and while it may not be a smooth road all the time, humanity has never truly given up. If defeating the Primordials should solve the threat, what is the point of changing humans into something they've never been?'' In a way, he did agree with Rita's point. Maybe they weren't as powerful as Gods, but why would that mean they'd have to take what's thrown at them? Who said they even wanted to change? Wouldn't that make everything that humans had done so far useless?

''I think that as long as he learns to be more cautious than he is now, he'll be fine.''
, he'd add onto Rita's congratulations to Jack with a faint laugh. He could see Jack doing some good, as long as he learned to take this in a more levelheaded way. He was still iffy on the whole 'I'll save the world by wearing a colorful costume' thing. No offense to the younger man's ideals, that is. To each their own, even if he was not comprehending that kind of approach.

He would frown a little, however. ''Why is it so? You say you want to help us, and for us to take your side...but you are breaking the rules when you tell us about it? Isn't that a little contradictory?'' He was sort of not getting that one. What kind of help was help that had several limitations already stuck onto it? This all both did and did not make sense. On another note, he did notice the ripples, as they were rather obvious, but had no real troubles staying afoot, as he was not in the middle of moving like Rita. More people awakening didn't even strike him as weird anymore. After all, Jack here just did, and it was already a moving trend anyway. ''Two different beings can coexist, yes, I can say that, but I think that whatever happens, we won't be able to understand each other fully. Some humans don't even understand each other. It isn't impossible, but it's hard. I know as much.'', he would make a side comment to Rita's speech about Angels and Humans sharing living space. It'd be a bumpy road no matter what, even if they were to try and regard each other as siblings. They were simply on different pages by nature. God knows he had enough trouble himself, and he was only dealing with one annoying Shadow here. With that, he'd wait for any kind of answer the girl would give to Rita's final question for now. To be frank, he was standing in the middle now. If it seemed right, he would walk along with them...but only as long as it didn't pose too much of a backslash.

Jack gladly accepted Rita's help getting up and shook her hand firmly. She seemed a bit brash and blunt, but she apologized for her harshness so Jack couldn't hold it against her. She congratulated him though... that't the part that he didn't quite get. How... did she know?... Sure reporter lady said awakening, but that didn't mean anything... did it?... Maybe that's just what getting a persona is called. Ether way Jack would nod and chuckle in response to her congratulations,"So long as you don't serve the forces of evil, I'm sure we'll get along just fine! haha!" Jack however stiffened when Sharaku added his comment."Ah Pisha! It's the red ranger's duty to blindly charge in to battle. That's why he wears red. So if he is wounded... his rangers would not see his blood, and fight on!"

The First Broadcast - Page 3 2-7303

"Ether way, I think you said it best... uh... I don't think I caught your name miss," Jack would scratch the back of his helmet sheepishly... he this lady was the only one he didn't know beforehand and as such he didn't know what to call her. Though she seemed to understand the situation well enough. Jack agreed with what she said to a point. While yes humans were completely capable of governing themselves without the aid of any higher power and would prosper on their own, he had a rather hard time seeing humanity and the divine coexisting for very long. From what Jack had understood, these divine had been manipulating humanity into what they wanted sense the dawn of mankind. Much like a mother would, raising humanity as if it were a child. Jack truly felt grateful for that, however, he didn't see anyone, god or otherwise, giving up that power so freely.

"I hesitate to speak my end, seeing as how I'd be treading water you already coverd miss, but I feel I need to say this to the only divine I've met... So... Miss.Reporter. I thank you for your help in making us who we are today, but I'm hesitant to allow you and yours to change us any further... Humanity may be imperfect, but that's because our imperfections make us perfect. If humanity is to grow it should be through our own burning ambitions! Not through further hand holding. If it turns out you are telling the truth, then I will gladly fight along side you and track down these angles you want us to find. However! It should be man's white hot will that elevates us to the next plane of existence. I have faith that mankind can and will reach that level one day if left to our own devices."

The First Broadcast - Page 3 1086113898

"That is my 'Reason'!" Jack was glad he packed that extra confetti cannon... they always come in handy.

Jack's pose was cut short however by the large tremor that rocked the room. He momentarily lost his balance and stumbled back, somehow managing to stay on his feet. He looked around for the source of the tremor and turned towards Nilo. He cocked his head and chuckled slightly."I messed up my pose... huh..."

She remained silent, as each and every one of them gave their peace, save for Nilo. When Rita spoke, she smiled, it full of pride, and it only got larger when Sharaku and Jack spoke. "You are exactly what is needed to shape Humanity into its brightest future. You all wishing to make your own gives me great joy. But do not misunderstand," she warned. "We do not wish to turn Humans into Angels unless that is their wish. And likewise, our original intent is not to rule them even if they were to fail. This is your chance to give Humans that spark that could change them and the world for what you think is right. It's only for you all, if you wish to change people and this world or if you are unsatisfied with how people are today. I will not deny that we have forced this upon you, however, you have ample time to make a decision, whether it be do nothing, or think about what you want to do for the world. While we are your creators, we are not going to shackle you to our rule. That would ruin the point of this entire event if we just wished to control you." Rita speaking of coexisting was definitely interesting however. "Coexisting...should that be possible, I wonder what you will suggest. I can't say I know," she said with a pleasant smile. When Sharaku brought up how she was breaking the rules, her face actually turned a bit pink. "Oh? Well....yeah, I guess I am. Getting in trouble is worth giving you all what I can." She stayed silent on the matter and would not say anything further.

The First Broadcast - Page 3 Tumblr_static_c35c0xndjj4g0wkkws04c8sk0

"As for my name, I am rather aptly put. I am the Angel who is closest to Human when I was born. You may simply refer to me as anyone else would: Angel, or Divine. Whichever suits you. I am not able to lie or deceive you." She took several steps back, and waved her hand over the middle platform, which began to glow a mixture of colors. "Walking in here will take you back to the tower. You are free to approach it again. I shall be waiting outside during the day, and at night, inside this room. Walking through the doors will take you back here. I want to personally apologize for my actions. We are all at fault for causing stress on you, and I know we seem like simple beings who just want to overrun you, but I only want to see you all get stronger, and go towards a future everyone wants. Please, do your absolute best, and good luck," she said. She would remain silent unless they had any more questions she could answer, and they were free to leave. She hoped for them; she hoped for everyone, that they could find their own reason to push everyone forward, be it by themselves, with help, or even with an Angel. She wanted to see them grow. Where will they find the first Angel she wondered? Well, time would speak the truth of course.

So be it. The Voice said no more, as he clearly was going to follow his own rules. However, this was definitely an opportunity that could not be missed. It was a shame he did not want to do anything, he would have made for a very exciting participant. When Katsu returned to the room from before, he would find it entirely different than how he left. He would see a long white table with a smooth grey chair on the end. On the table, or rather, floating around the table, were various screens that showed images of the islands. Was this given for him to look at by the Voice? Either way, he could go through them, and even touch them and rearrange them how he wished to watch the events unfold on the islands itself. They did not show him the other worlds, however he could very well see the rifts that led into said worlds. The only door in this room was the door that he had come through, which if he entered the room, would close behind him.

Nilo listened to the Angel's words intently. He kept his head down casted though, not contributing to questions that the others may ask. He was stressed, quite literally unable to comprehend what was being told. He looked up after a while though, tilting his head lightly at the portal. He would wait for the others to ask any questions before leaving himself, a blank look on his face. He wouldn't care if someone spoke to him, simply ignoring them as he approached the portal.

"Miss Divine, my thanks for telling us this... I suppose I'll see you again soon... Until then, thank you." he said with a nod before stepping through the portal.

The Angel seemed at least rather satisfied with Rita's answer, though she herself couldn't say that it was the most expected outcome, it was a definite possibility. Rita was quite interested in the Divine, perhaps she should stick around this Angel for some more time, it would do her and everyone else some good to learn more, that was obvious.

"I see... if we were to coexist in only one world, I am sure that most people would enjoy it and even be interested in your race. I can't explain, but sentient nonhuman races are rather... intriguing for us. If I may, I would like to stay here for a moment more, I want to learn more about these Divine, your race, if I could. Think you could perhaps tell me about your lives and history?" Smiling a bit, Rita payed no mind to Nilo leaving this place, it was his decision, after all, so it didn't bother her. It seemed as if he was bothered himself, though, was that perhaps a side-effect of what she said? How worrisome.

"Well, if you don't have a given name for yourself or at least don't want to give it, I'd rather give you one myself for easy reference. Do you think I could perhaps call you..." Thinking for a moment, Rita put her hand to her chin again, turning just slightly rose-cheeked. "What do you think of the name Angela, or maybe Angie? Rather... unoriginal, I realize, but it's an easy name to remember as well. What do you think?" Sure, the idea was a bit goofy all in all, but Rita'd rather have a name to call this girl than just Angel. After all, even the Divine needed to distinguish between themselves, right? Even this sort of nickname would aid Rita in developing a desire for the Divine's help.

"In any case, is there any way that we can communicate easily outside of us coming here? It seems that it would be much better for us to have a remote way of speaking should we happen to need each other at any time." Goofy part done and over with, it seemed as if Rita was back to her analytic mode. Honestly, she wanted to leave soon, if only because there was something else to do right now that was urgent... really, she'd only stay here until the Angel answered her, and that would be that.

''Simply put, you have a death wish.'' Sharaku wasn't in the mood to deal with Jack's way of thinking right now, therefore he would blow him off with a jab, as he paid more attention to the more important words being spoken. The guy's idea was not bad, but the way he planned to take action would get him killed before accomplishing anything useful.

To be honest, he didn't really have much to bring up against the Angel now. This would require some thinking through first. Still, some of Rita's statements did interest him enough to hang around for a while more, and listen to the answers. He would flash Rita a slightly beffudled look at the whole name business. Really? Not that it wouldn't classify as sort of cute, but bothering with making up a name for some other being while the were discussing the fate of the world, pretty much? Someone was a bit easygoing all of a sudden, compared to how she was almost blowing fireworks on her way to the tower back then.

Either way, he would stick around for a while, somewhat interested in the communication inquiry. It would be a little tiring to always have to walk here, if they for some reason wanted to speak with her. Nor always available, in case something kept them busy either. ''Good question. Would we always have to come to the Tower, or is there any other way?'' He had no reason to hurry somewhere anyway, so whatever. Besides, there was still the wonder of what would happen after everyone seeing that broadcast...

"I'm always grateful for your faith in me Sharaku..." Jack was... mildly annoyed by Sharaku's constant dismissal of him... But brushed it off as just who Sharaku was. The guy was obviously an ultra powerful mage or warrior of some sort... Jack could tell that much just by looking at him, but the fact that he thought Jack wold just get himself killed kinda erked him off a little. Regardless there were much more important things to take care of at the moment... Mainly Nilo's movement towards the portal home.,"Nilo, wait... We need to talk. Meet me at Wild Duck burger... I've got one more question for Miss Holy over here..." Jack would be mildly worried when Nilo failed to respond but... that would have to wait.

"Alright... First, My bid for what to call you is "Gosai"... Cus it sounds cool. Second, You obviously are the one who... Awakened?... Yeah awakened me. Well... the thing is, I have this friend named Charles... He's been looking for a way to reawaken his persona and... Is there any information you can give me to pass on to him? Anything will help..." Jack would wait patiently for the reporter's answers. He would then thank her and offer a short good bye to both Sharaku and Rita before exiting through the portal. He didn't want to keep Ranger Black waiting after all.

PostSubject: Re: The First Broadcast    The First Broadcast - Page 3 EmptyWed Jan 28, 2015 2:28 am

"Good luck to you Nilo....and if I may...have more confidence," was all she said to him as he left. Looking back to the three, she folded her arms when Rita suggested a couple names for her. "If Angel or Divine on their own do not suffice, you may go with what you want; so maybe Angela. The other Angels have their own names mind you." She said, adjusting her hat. "As for communication, I am not allowed to communicate with you all outside of this tower when you need to come by be it day or night. You must come here to visit me; as I must look after this tower until it is finished. My role in this competition is...more or less an Observer. It is not that I am not allowed to make a Path to potentially be suggested, but let's just say, this role to me is important.." she said, trailing off, but still keeping her friendly demeanor without faltering. "While I would explain about our existence, I do not wish to take things that can be explained by other Angels. They wish to learn more about who is participating as well. So for the sake of fair play as it were, I will let other Angels explain more about our race. Forgive me," she said with a bow.

Angel looked to Jack and shook her head. "I cannot tell you the best way for him to gain his power. He will either have the potential or won't, and it is up to him. I can only tell you to tell him to not be afraid, no matter how scary it may seem," she said. She would say no more on the subject. When he left however, he would be able to see on the list of names that was now displayed on the screens at the bottom of the tower, Jack Rannells also saw his name now up there. It seemed that depending on the circumstances, names can be added. "Believe in your strengths, and trust yourselves. You will learn plenty more along the way. Whether you choose to follow an Angel, or yourself, we are here, and we await your future decision," she said. She would remain silent if they had nothing else to say. She only had to wait and watch them, and hope they performed as beautifully as they said.

PostSubject: Re: The First Broadcast    The First Broadcast - Page 3 EmptyWed Jan 28, 2015 10:48 am

Rita did nothing really but shrug at the newly Christened Angela's comment. It was a necessity for her to have something to call her, even if it was a bit silly. After all, every person needed a name, right? Angela was no exception and, while it was a simple name to be thought up just on the fly, it worked for now.

"Of course it wouldn't suffice, people need a name and you're no exception. That's all." With a sigh, Rita approached the portal, having already heard enough information from the angel. If she couldn't tell her anything else and they couldn't really communicate in an easier way than this, then there was no more point being around her.

"Well then, if that's all it is, then I'll be returning here often, you can be sure of that. I plan on personally monitoring what happens in this Waiting Room so expect me to be a common visitor. With that said, I'll take my leave." With a casually sly smile, Rita closed her eyes, nodding in satisfaction and stepped onto the portal only after Jack did, though she'd also wait for Sharaku in case he wanted to go as well. If he wanted to leave right now as well, Rita'd wait for him to go so she'd be the last to leave, but, before that, and only if there was no-one else around, Rita'd look a bit more somberly at Angela.

"I seriously hope your little stunt with the names didn't screw over my chances with her... I really don't want her to be afraid. Well, whatever. See ya." On that note, Rita shoved her hands into her pockets as Apeiron nuzzled her neck, calming her with a soft tweet. With a thin wry smile now on her face, Rita stepped onto the rainbow, leaving the room and exiting the tower for now. This would be the first of many visits, that was for sure.

Tsk. Well, if you want actual faith, then appear faithful. Saying you would rush into danger blindly on purpose does not exactly invoke that image. It's not easy to put trust in someone that thinks in such simple terms when there's apparently a lot at stake. Risking is neccesary at times, but it shouldn't be something you do everyday, just because you can. Sharaku would simply shrug when Jack said his piece to him, not interested in arguing on that point now.

..and it turned out they didn't learn much more from these answers. Except for the fact that they actually had to come back here, in case they wanted something from her. Ah well, an annoying complication, but it would have to do. Not that he knew whether he'd have a reason to visit or not, that is. It seemed she had already told them all she could. Unless something significant happened, there wouldn't be much of a plausible reason to come back. ''Well then. I suppose it's 'until we meet again' for now.'', he'd nod at the woman, giving a glance at Rita afterwards. Seeing as she seemed intent on staying until after he left, he'd do so. Hopefully, she wasn't planning to do something big on her own there. Then again, she seemed calm enough for now. Well, whatever she wanted, it was up to her for now.

When they left, Angel smiled lightly. They were well on their way. They would probably learn about Thesis and Ananke. Would they be able to stop them she wondered? She hadn't lost hope for them, and they definitely understood the message. Well, perhaps they will feel a little better about having their names revealed, for no one who participated was safe from that as a matter of fact. Until she had to do something, she would remain here. Only "Angels" know she isn't really needed out there...
