Hyde would take the time to visit San Malarus for the first time. Here was a mission on the velvet room request board that he wanted to look into; it involved a one on one fight. Walking into the bar with his lucky cape, Hyde would approach the bartender wits a cautious look on his face. “Hi, I’m here to take on the Boom Boxer. Could you set me up with a fight?” It was pretty simple and straight forward, Hyde wanted to gauge himself. Just how strong was he really? Was he really capable of winning a decent fight?

When Hyde talked to the bartender, he chuckled a bit when he looked at the man. “You?....Sure man. Maybe you can show that idiot that his ego’s too big,” he said. Afterword’s, he’d tap a device in his ear, which turned on an intercom in the club and had the music turn down a bit. “We got a challenger! This guy wants to take on the Boom Boxer!” The moment he pointed to the young man, a light seemed to focus on him. Some clubgoers laughed. Others looked shocked, some fist-pumped in the air. It was clear the reaction was mixed. Eventually, some of the goers would walk around to a few doors in the back which would lead to stairs that went above, while many stayed as the signal on the large TV was being changed. “Come with me man. You get an “express” route to the fight, hehe…” the bartender said with a chuckle. Behind the bar counter was an elevator that would lead up to the top.

If Hyde chose to hop on and go to the top, he’d be on one side of a large roof, the size of a lunchroom in a school, with bleachers on all sides, which some people cheering and booing Hyde the minute he would walk out. The roof looked a lot more well-managed. The bartender would practically shove Hyde forward onto the roof and press a switch on a remote he had. A couple odd machines from either side of Hyde began to project a sort of large blue see-through room that made roughly two thirds of the roof in size, which would serve as the arena, which had nothing exactly of note, aside from a big area to fight in. “Don’t worry kid! Anything done to those walls will just bust up if it’s weak, and if it’s really strong, they’ll bounce off the walls once, or twice! Have fun!” he said before going back in the elevator and closing the door. On the other side, as the announcement was being called, a song played loudly from a boom box, and a man with ebony skin stood up and grinned while cracking his knuckles, like he was waiting for the guy to show up. He was about thirty meters from Hyde.

“Oh dude. Holy shit man. Never had to fight a young guy before. You must have some balls taking me on. But no no seriously dude. When I kick your ass, I’ll show you where the Slums are. That’s where you live right?” some of his apparent fans gave a collective “Ooooooooooooh!” as he danced a bit as the music played. Immediately following, he’d do a cartwheel over the boom box, and the box itself suddenly moved and changed around like some sort of rubiks cube, and latched onto the man’s arms, making them big and bulky. As he waved them around sizing Hyde up, the music still continued to play from the speakers on his metallic arms.

“Let’s go kid. Try and fuck with me.”

A twinkle in Hyde’s eye would appear as he summoned his soul bound weapon and his arcana morpher would appear on his wrist, his persona would also instantly appear behind him. The time for talk was over; this was a battle that needed to be won. During the theatrics of the boom boxer, which involved a lot talking and even a cartwheel, Hyde and his persona took off. Hyde took off running in a zigzag formation at top speed as he held his spear in his right hand in a comfortable position. He was taking advantage of his speed as a member of the track team, besides the fact that his energy reserves made him seem like a freak of nature in his own right and athleticism allowing him to perform high intensity movement with ease. This was no different than training for the 40 yard dash, the fact that hyde had high energy reserves that allowed him to perform at top speed extensively as well, he could cover the 30 meter distance between him and the boom boxer in six seconds. The most important thing to do was to cover the amount of distance between them and put the boom boxer in a CQC situation to test the waters.

In the meantime, Codas Kyrin split apart from Hyde to attack at a different angle as soon as they got within 10 meters as Hyde continued his ziz zag patter to close the gap even more for a soulbound attack that would be initiated afterwards with his Shohan spear in the form with a unorthodox side thrust, staying within 4 feet of his opponent and taking advantage of the length of his 5 foot spear. Codas supplemented his wing stingers to initiate his piercing attack instead of using his spear, each stinger was launched at a high speed continuously in the use of arrow rain. There were six stingers in total, safe measurements for the stinger wings was 5 meters in length and 3 meters in width. Each stinger being launched simultaneously at a time and pulled back to be launched for a second time in successive motion to attack the boom boxer with Tier two piercing damage.

The minute Hyde summoned his Persona, the crowd seemed to stop cheering and heckling the fight, and changed their reactions entirely. Some went silent, some shouted in fear, calling Hyde a “dumbass” or a “freak”. Some even fled the arena in wild fear, exiting and going downstairs, their screams being heard again outside as they left the club. Many seemed to follow, leaving about half still there, whether it was from sheer curiosity, they were too stunned to move, or perhaps worried about the Boxer, was not clear. But even as Hyde began to attack, the Boom Boxer looked noticeably off balance at first. Apparently everyone seemed to take Hyde’s actions as a sort of omen, but of what? “What the hell? Dude I thought they didn’t exist anymore! Not after that Storm man! Shit…..I can’t let you go now dude. You’re gonna call down the pain on us! We’re gonna die! So I gotta get you first!” he said. He had some skills of his own, even without this freak with the Persona on the guy’s side. He immediately jumped forward, and what appeared to be jet fuel shot out in flames from his boots, sending him forward right as Hyde began his zigzag movement, as the range of this skill was about ten meters, which would let him catch Hyde before he made his movement, having a fist at the ready during his shift for a large punch on his chest and then sending his other arm across his face. His mechanical fists seem to be his "soulbound" weapon of sorts, the way they threatened to cause damage to Hyde's soul. During the shift he’d be able to dodge the first set of stringers who were going for him as he moved, however the second stingers he would have to take after doing his one-two combo, which would send him back several feet assuming nothing impeded him on the way to Hyde. “Man just give up! None of us want to deal with you and your crap! I bet you caused all that mess during the Storm,” as he spoke, hecklers booing Hyde and agreeing with the Boom Boxer as he kept fighting. It was unknown whether Hyde fighting, or perhaps his very Persona was causing agitation among the crowd, but one thing was for sure: morale for the fight was not on the young man’s side.

The soul bound attack was cut off somewhat, due to the act that the boom boxer had a jetpack ability that Increased his speed enough to cover about 10 meters, which honestly caught Hyde by surprise while his Zigzag pattern was proceeding to the right, where Hyde was holding his spear. However, the first attack of the boom boxer was picked up by Hyde’s sixth, a sudden feeling of danger that caused a force initial reaction of stopping the zigzag pattern midway as soon as hyde noticed that the boom boxer jumped forward with the intended attack, the shohan spear technique itself had a different kind of way holding the spear, which utilized the spears special qualities. Instead of an initial dodge, Hyde flicked the spear slightly in order to initiate its three section split, with the first half of the split meeting the fist halfway in order to clash with the soul bound attack with a much stronger one. Afterwards, there would be a short ducking dodge in order to avoid the second attack that was intended for. Having his senses in tuned to danger and being able to perform sudden and intense movements with ease allowed to dodge the attack aimed at Hyde’s face. It was around that time that Hyde calculated and expected a short burst of speed from the man within a 10 meter radius. Hyde decided to keep moving and jump back so the distance between him and boom boxer was 11 meters while the man spoke until he formulated a new plan. However, the crowd and what this man was saying bothered him. "I don't now what you're talking about.

As for Codas, his original location was towards the side while he used his stingers to attack while keeping his movement towards the boom boxar. Valkaryrie was changed in his stead as she galloped towards the boxer, her horse firing a bufu ice blast towards the enemy from its mouth from four meters away, heading for the legs of the boom boxer. The best chance was to provide a bit of frostbite or slower movement with the leg, but the intention of the attack was to ultimately freeze up the gears that initiated the rocket thrust so they would be unusable and leave the boom boxer to be a sitting duck.

“Then you’re even stupider! You don’t remember what happened!? You’re gonna get found and killed! None of us want the shit you bring! You’re gonna get us all killed!” he hollered. When his fists were both deflected then dodged, he’d simply be sent back a couple feet from the hit from Hyde’s second attack. It was clear he had taken a decent hit, but he was still ready to roll. Immediately following the reaction, he would not let the Persona he just changed to go unnoticed as it ran from Hyde’s end to charge at him. He did not make much time to make distance between the two, nor did he make any sort of attack while the Boom Boxer was being staggered by his Persona's Arrow Rain, so it gave Boom Boxer enough time to run and roll to the right out of the way of Hyde’s Persona, who simply went straight and only aimed at his feet, which gave him a larger window to evade. In the ending position of his roll, he would be still in range of Hyde by the meters, and would immediately stand up, holding his robotic arms out to Hyde, which would suddenly blast off of his arms like they were rockets. They would fly ten meters, each arm going to the general direction of the left and right of Hyde, which did not get in range to punch him clearly, but they also had a secret function. Once they reached their limit, both arms would suddenly flash a light before detonating in a small explosion, covering Hyde’s left and right were he to try and move out of the way. The detonation would cover some distance behind him as well and both small explosions appeared to be bright domes. The crowd would cheer for him as he made his attack, eager to see the Boom Boxer's signature moves. The music stopped during the explosion, which left a thick air of tension. After the explosions were finished, the arms would fall to the ground, and then disappear and reappear on the Boom Boxer’s arms turning on the music again, as he was running backwards to make more distance between them (about 15 meters apart). Man, this guy wasn’t ready for what the Boom had!

This guy didn’t make much sense to Hyde, but it didn’t matter. After blocking the soul bond attack, Hyde still kept his spear in the three section form. The boom boxer was starting to attack, and Hyde needed to figure out what to do quickly. Then there it was, that feeling of discomfort again when the boom boxer held his arms out in the as if he was going to do something. Hyde reacted to it immediately, taking the fight seriously and expecting that it was something dangerous. There was about an 11 meter difference between Hyde and the boom boxer. The way the boom boxer would of spread our his arms, the width difference between the outward extension would offer a blind spot for hyde to go straight down the middle , betting on the chance that boom boxer can’t change the trajectory midway in mid flight. Processing this at a swift pace, Hyde used his quickness to jolt forward in order to take advantage of that blind spot, running while slightly ducked in order to provide a calculated change in the heightened difference that the boom boxer was expecting to fire his arm in order for whatever he had planned to work. Slightly ducking would give the rocket fists an even less chance to intercept Hyde during the motion. As for the difference between Hyde and the boom Boxer, Hyde contains the ability to cover about 30 meters in 6 seconds. With that being said, he would only need less than three in order to close the gap between him and the boom boxer. The reason why this worked was due to the previously intended detonation sequence that the boom boxer expected to occur once the rocket arms reached the 10 meter limit, where Hyde would of traveled 5 meters in each passing second, leaving the original location intended for detonation and the range of the explosions as Hyde covered the gap while travelling through the blind spot.

Once he reached the boom boxer, Hyde would of initiated a soul bound attack with the use of his specialized technique. The Red Beard draws the opponents eye away from the sharp spearhead. As it is hair, it is always behind in the spear movement and thus the spearhead seems to arrive at the target a bit quicker than it truly does. However, the three pole section and the hook of the spear only adds to the deception of the technique, having the opponent anticipating the arrival of the spearhead as the unorthodox weapon and technique makes a swift attack at the chest of the boom boxer as well, with the intend of doing damage and hooking onto the boom boxers chain as well in order to choke a bitch from three feet away, using the range of his spear for safe coverage. If the intention of running away from Hyde during the explosions that his fists would of caused with his back turned was still executed, the same hook attack would of still been initiated on the back of the boom boxer while pulling the chain from the back in order of causing the boom boxer to fall. However, there was no specific intention of when exactly the boom boxer started to double back in the first place. Also, In a comparison of speed, Hyde was confident that he was faster

As for his persona, Valkyrie wouldn’t simply be stationary during this time, she kept her movement and used the moment that the boom boxer ignored her and paid more attention to hyde when he stuck his arms out. There was never any brief moment that Valkyrie stopped moving in her pursuit towards the boom boxer. There was also no detail intending that the boom boxer wasn’t stationary during the attack and the ignition of his move, as well as exactly when he started the attempt to double back whether it was before or after the intended explosions of the arm, so he was basically standing still for that brief moment. While continuing her gallop towards the opponent from her original position of being 4 meters away from the boom boxer while continuing her motion on her horse, Valkyrie got into close range with her swords to initiate a two hit combo aimed at the boom boxer, a downward slash aimed at the lower body and an upward strike at chest, just above the collar bone.

Since Hyde made the completely “smart” move to run for the Boom Boxer while the fists were going for him, they would explode in his face and more than likely hurt him, preventing him from utilizing his own abilities. His Persona on the other hand, still was acting. Since he was gaining distance away, he would have range to see Valkyrie charging for him with intent to cut him down. No words came from the Boom Boxer’s mouth, only loud exasperated sighs of fear as he used his skill used previously to shift down to the Valkyrie’s side towards Hyde’s direction, attempting to close in on him, and allowing him to avoid Valkyrie’s attack yet again. This was turning into a chase game, and the Boom Boxer was not liking the scenario, as most likely the Persona was chasing him down. This wasn’t cool man! “Just fucking stop! I don’t want your bullshit! Get the fuck out of here or die!” he obscenely shouted. If Hyde attempted to run at him at all, he’d use the speed from the skill and make a hard fist towards him, clotheslining him in his chin and neck with a big, mechanical gauntleted fist, cause Hyde would most likely not be able to get to him without getting hurt if he went straight on into him.

Hyde was pretty lucky that his persona Valkyrie resisted the attacks that the boom boxer specialized in, or else Hyde would be hurting much more than he currently was. Getting blown up wasn’t fun, Hyde needed a change in strategy if he wanted to stay in this. Hyde decided to start off with a short forward movement that would of made the bodily assumption that he was heading forward to run into the boom boxer for a reckless plan to fake him out, and then quickly make a diving dodge to the right while swinging his right arm around that contained his six feet and 5 inches long soul bound weapon while it remained in the three section pole form for an added reach to lash the weapon across the back of the boom boxer for piercing soul bound damage. After that quick dodge and roll, Hyde would run at top speed in the opposite direction diagonally for a hit in run, until he was about 12 meters away.

Valkarie continued the chase regardless of the fact that the boom boxer avoiding her. She continued to be on his tail as she fired another bufu in the form of a small ice beam that was emitted from the mouth of her trusty steed, aimed at the back of the boom boxer who was currently propelling himself in one direction. on the man.

Since Hyde was running for him and made the call to move to his right, The Boom Boxer would end up some distance behind him since he had covered some ground, though it was not much. He figured Hyde was up to something slick when he rolled to the side, so in response, he fell into a roll after the end of his rocket jump, going under Hyde’s spear attack. In response, as Hyde was running away, he would launch his rocket fists, going straight for Hyde as he was running away, leaving himself wide open for a sudden attack, with speed to match, and by the time they both stopped, the gauntlets would burst again, most likely hurting him there too, since he would not be able to go very far in such short time. Meanwhile, the time it took to do that, would get him hit by the ice beam as Valkyrie charged up on him, as he was just recovering from a roll. He’d simply take the hit, and then roll to the side to escape the Valkyrie charge. This was getting bad on the Boom Boxers side. At this rate, he was going to have to get serious. This guy was no joke, and more and more people were noticing the strain the man was taking, and some were running away still, in horror of Hyde and his Persona. If Hyde was dense to the reason, then he’d at least figure it out now when everyone was booing him and screaming at him to leave, or calling him a scumbag and cheater. They were in obvious fear of him, but some were still hanging on in interest, or at least holding out in fear of the Boom Boxer even despite the man’s obvious panicking state.

Hyde’s persona change once more into coday Kyrin, the persona materializing much closer to Hyde in that case while he continue to run of the opposite side towards the wall 5 meters way. Codas would then Codas supplemented his wing stingers to initiate his piercing attack instead of using his spear, each stinger was launched at a high speed continuously in the use of arrow rain. There were six stingers in total, safe measurements for the stinger wings was 5 meters in length and 3 meters in width. The first two stingers went straight ahead to clash with the rocket fists, bearing an extra 15% of power due to hyde’s arcana in order to break through and keep going heading straight towards the boom boxer. The other four stingers circled around him to attack the boom boxer from either side, two from the right and two from the left, lowering options of escape as hyde continue to make his way to the wall.

Since Persona attacks cannot interfere with attacks from a soulbound weapon, Hyde's attack would simply go past the rockets. Recovering his gauntlets, he'd jump back avoiding the round of Arrow Rain since they left his back open, letting the attacks clash into each other, and then shoot off another round of gauntlets at him. Since he was still in range of his rockets, AND at a wall, the rockets would be fired to Hyde's immediate left and right, exploding just in front of him, the explosion extending to the wall. He was now in the least prime position for such a long range attack, as the Boom Boxer started to run to him, keeping a close eye on both him and his Persona, who was near Hyde himself. He made sure to keep some distance between each other but enough to be within his range. He was clearly showing signs of weariness from his own skills, since Hyde had hardly been making any decisive hits on him. Was it worth stopping? The Boom Boxer also looked fearful, like what he was looking at was a monster that he could not suffer to live. Would Hyde realize what was happening around him?

The resistance of Valkyrie carried over, since the switch of personas were still withholding until second after, so that means that Hyde took it pretty well. However, he was still getting hurt a lot and had to keep moving. He figured that it would be on the safe side to continue switching to something more feasible until the time was right. “I just have to stall for a little while longer…..” Hyde would say as he would continue to run in spite of the explosion along the wall. He did this in hopes that the attacks that the boom boxer would try would be weakened and absorbed if he tried those fists again. Valkyrie entered the battle again, Healing Hyde with a bright light shining over him as she continued her pursuit toward s the boom boxer who was moving ahead.

Since Valkyrie made the call to run from Hyde to him, he would begin to run to his right side and shoot with a burst of speed using his rocket heels as they closed in with one another, passing Valkyrie and moving straight into Hyde, who had not seemed to move away from his spot at the wall. He would start a punch from his shift into Hyde's chest, and then punch him once in the stomach, and then one final one to send him to the floor, before stepping back a foot. If Hyde dodged the first hit, he'd simply punch if he remained any closer, or if he tried to make space, he would as well, keeping an eye on the Persona charging away.

As soon as the boom boxer passed Valkyrie, she was switched to a persona that appeared in front of Hyde. Hyde changed his persona once more to play his final card. Daraku Dhumavati finally made his appearance in combat, it rather scary and strange appearance being used as a form of intimidation. Since they all seemed worried about these persona’s, Hyde would might as well bring out his strongest one for the time being, which also served as his strangest one as well. As the boom boxer would get forward, the three flaming balls would shoot out in a swirling patter as they were being manipulated by the jester, serving as simultaneous flame grenades in the form of an aoe. The first jester ball would shoot out from the front as the boom boxer moved forward to hyde, the next ones would move out slightly to the sides , covering the left and right and the flames connecting to make a ring of fire upon completion, moving backwards or left/r right would result in the connection of the attack. With the fist grenade ing launched forward to cover the front. At the very most, the explosions would cover a 10 meter radius at least. After that, the persona would vanish.

What happens if I lose? I die?” Hyde would say as he started to panic just as he ran along the wall, about four meters away from it. Hyde used the flames of the persona for an offensive suppressing fire as well as breaking the line of site in a sense, and the burning smell being served as a distraction too. Hyde was running away from the boom boxer now, trying to potentially clear more than 12 meters diagonally if he can. If that first attack from the boom boxer was to go off, the alertness of his sixth sense would of prompt hyde to dodge the first attack at least, given the fact that he started to use more evasive maneuvers instead, making a roll dive when his persona broke the line of sight.
