Lewis could see that the punk and the other two were ready to move across the bridge, though mostly it was just the punk. In response, Lewis suddenly summoned a green ball of swirling green wind in his hand and flung it towards the bridge past the small hole in front of him, exploding and attempting to hurt him. Whether it hit or not, the waters around the bridge would ripple slightly, and the bridge would shift slightly, causing them to at most lose their balance slightly, as it was not a strong attack, but it was a relatively thin bridge suddenly moving beneath their feet, not to even mention that two of the three were still on the higher platform. The time for talking was over, and the kids were now going to learn what it means to meddle with things they don't need to get involved with.

Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread)   Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 EmptySun Oct 05, 2014 6:56 pm

Hn? Was Shun really that upset over this whole thing? Don't get him wrong, at the present point, Sharaku would have prefered to settle this without a big skirmish himself, still he wasn't really hung over what happened that badly. In complete honesty, he didn't believe Lewis would have told them very much even if they fullfilled his conditions, with how vehemently he kept ignoring their questions and all up till now. The man might have just tried to run away with Lune once again if they had given her to him just as he attempted to request. Did Shun really trust that man with all he's been doing so far? Yes, the idea was fairly nice to think of, but a bit too idealistic in his mind. ''How about we discuss this all later?'' That was the only thing he was going to say towards this exchange of thoughts. He really didn't want to drag it all around. Screw that.

He would give the android a short look, when he requested them to go back once again. Ugh. Why did they come here in the first place then? Why did none of this make sense anymore? Sharaku didn't neccessarilly mind running that much, but he'd rather know why were they going back and forth like idiots before enganging in such an activity. And for a while he did feel like giving Sentinel a piece of mind about this, but alas, the android ran off already. Tsk. Well, later then. ''Great.'', he would mutter, somewhat sarcastically, but turn to follow anyway. What else was he to do? Staying would do him no better, even if he was tempted to just do so.

Still, Lewis was not making it any better. Meaning that, getting closer only made it easier for the man to attack them in some way. Sharaku would still say they could have just stayed where they were back then, and not have to go away and then back again. This way, the were just wasting time with moving about. He really had no idea what was Sentinel thinking. With Lewis using some sort of Wind attack to shake the bridge they were trying to get at, and maybe cross (he wasn't neccessarilly sure how good of an idea it was with someone attacking them, considering the fact that there was also a hole to get over), he would crouch down briefly to help keep his balance. Mainly in case the man followed up with something else. If there was one thing he did not want to, it was to topple over somewhere. No thank you. Raising up a bit, he would send ice shards towards the man, to distract him a bit, before turning his gaze towards the android. ''You sure this is the best idea?'', he would ask, rather calmly, if one considers the fact that he was questioning the other's 'orders' right now. Though, honestly, he didn't really think it mattered anymore. Whatever they did, the result would most likely be similar.....

Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread)   Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 EmptyMon Oct 06, 2014 7:45 pm

Alphonse's response was like a bucket of cold water on Shunnosuke's mood. Now, he didn't have a proper response to that, leaving only a deadpan countenance to Alphonse. His face changed drastically to express his guilty for jumping to conclusions as quickly as getting angry at Alphonse. He had no idea the condition of Lune was that serious — as for Rinna, he was aware of her injuries already and didn't care much about it, she clearly knew how to take care of herself. It was probably for the best if he decides to stay silent and suppress whatever he's feeling in order to focus on the current trouble (Lewis). After Alphonse explained his concerns and ran off to the bridge, Shunnosuke would just roll his eyes and shake his head.

This wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for your lame excuse of a rational plan... — Almost certainly Alphonse wouldn't listen, as he was already far away when the boy decided to voice his opinions with a low tone. Regardless, Shunnosuke wouldn't be the only one left behind. Whatever Alphonse was planning, it wasn't up to them to discuss right now when their lives were in danger, deciding after some stillness time, it was probably the best decision to follow both him and Sharaku, no matter how tiring it is to keep running around here and there.

After Lewis sent another blast of wind energy on the android, the student would immediately summon his persona. As she danced gracefully in the air — by now, the standard procedure to cast her spells —, a soothing aura would envelop the group, though Alphonse was the one in need the most, meanwhile Shun would awkwardly try to maintain his balance, opening his arms to the sides to prevent his fall and squealing shortly after — in sight of the current platform they were at, all he didn't need in the middle of a dangerous fight was a humiliating and ridiculous drop to the ground, and not in the good meaning.

PostSubject: Re: Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread)   Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 EmptyTue Oct 07, 2014 2:15 pm

Sentinel was not too surprised when a ball of wind exploded and injured him. No, he was on point therefore he would be the one taking that damage or the anger that Lewis held toward the group. Excellent, exactly as planned for the android, so long as Lewis was either too blinded by rage or too stupid he would not turn and focus on the person who was keeping them all alive, Kurosawa. Still the gust of wind pushed him a few feet back, allowing the others to catch up with him. After a healing aura surrounded him, thanks to Kurosawa, when asked if this was the best idea he shot a glance toward The Forgotten.

"Pursuing him? Perhaps, the alternative is to allow him to slip away and force us through this entire business again. That is a result I want to take steps to avoid. Not to mention any questions we have, he will have answers, and I think we can get those answers from him if we desire to. Not to mention he knows our faces now, and he could look for alternative ways to make our lives miserable. I have no reason to allow this man a chance to harm others." The android said looking back toward the man moving forward a few feet to keep closing the distance. Closing the distance with the criminal was meant to intimidate him, after all he had struck the android several times and it still persisted. It kept getting closer like an unstoppable juggernaut, no signs of fear, no signs of any emotion besides hatred for a foe. An old foe whom Sentinel had fought in a mental sense for many years. A foe that Sentinel had not shown any mercy to, and he shall not have mercy on Lewis. His Persona appeared behind him, and used a sling to launch two solid projectiles into Lewis' head. Hopefully the concussive effect would at least knock the man down.

Lewis Rhodes began to lean over slightly. He was clearly by the looks becoming more wounded, though the lack of Naomi and the time they took not attacking was making the current battle longer than it needed to be for both sides. Lewis looked towards Shuunosuke and his arm began to stretch unnaturally like it was retractable in an instant passing Alphonse and quickly cut along Shunnosuke’s chest with his claws attempting to hit. When finished, his arm would return to normal demorphed size as he looked at the three still here, breathing heavily. “You idiots….you are wasting my time. I just want to go back, and all I needed was her!”

Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread)   Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 EmptyTue Oct 07, 2014 7:09 pm

When Sentinel attempted to answer his question, Sharaku would throw him a moreso deadpan look. That wasn't really what he meant. Not letting their target escape was logical, that he wasn't planning on arguing about. What he was confused about, was the way the android planned things. If he wanted to pursue Lewis all along, why did they get off the bridge in the first place? Sentinel had not given them a reason for that action, after all, only to shoo them back after a short exchange that could have been done by the android coming to them instead. Less waste of time. ''That wasn't what I.........Forget it.'' He had the intention of rephrasing his question for a moment, but decided against it after a few seconds. If there was something he'd rather not do, it was useless arguing about what already happened, in the middle of a skirmish no less.

That said, Lewis wasn't wasting his time that way, at the very least. Not that it were good news to them. Surprisingly enough, the man aimed for Shun this time, which was a first. Was he trying for something, or just choosing his target at random? Hm. Tsk. Thinking about it was a pain. He would turn to Shun briefly. ''You okay?'' He didn't get to say too much though, as Lewis was being distracting by speaking up again. As if they hadn't ended up wasting their time either. ''And she probably didn't want this. Is your goal worth enough making a young girl suffer? There usually are at least a few solutions to every problem.'', he would shrug towards the man. Sure, he was all for pursuing what you want, but at least a little consideration towards others would be nice. Well....he guessed so. Either way, he would keep up the attacking. There was probably no other way now anyway, since it was the way it was.

Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread)   Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 EmptyTue Oct 07, 2014 10:20 pm

"We can get those answers from him if we desire to". Well, that's what Shunnosuke have been trying to do since forever??? He felt like it was a spat in the face at his attempts to do just that: get those desired answers. But he did have a point in his speech, though, and it was not until Alphonse voiced his concerns that Shun could really worry about it. When the boy tried to establish an alliance with their current enemy, the first think he did was to evoke his family enterprise and respectful surname to impress Lewis. It wasn't too hard to put 2 and 2 together and deduce he could be an obvious target of retaliation made the boy stop his steps for a moment. How could he, who used to be so analytical, not have seen that??

Moreover, he was too shaken to even have a proper reaction to the monstrous arm of Lewis taking an advance in his direction, so that everything he could do was open his mouth before he could even have the time to scream. The attack made him lose his balance considerably, but it didn't take too much time for him to recover. His shirt, however, would take longer to do the same, with had a large cut in its front of his chest — okay, he was going to retire those clothes once he got back home anyway, but that doesn't mean he likes to see his clothes being tore apart.

I-I'm okay... — He replied to Sharaku, which was an obvious lie. Shaking momentarily his feelings away and summoning the Greek princess again to heal his apparent wounds. Though he'd feel physically better, the student would still give a blank stare to Lewis, not at all pissed off by being attacked after giving him plenty of chances to settle their differences civilly, nor worrying about the designer shirt gaining a new design. Right now, he was more concerned about what Lewis would do to him and his family if he managed to escape and target the group singly.

Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread)   Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 EmptyTue Oct 07, 2014 10:53 pm

The android had evidently misinterpreted what the darker skinned man had said. Well that wasn't too surprising his processors were sorting through various situations with how the skirmish could go so horribly wrong. Speaking of which it seemed as though Lewis had gotten much wiser as he watched an attack reach out and strike Kurosawa. The scream caught his attention, and the android looked toward his support.  The young man's clothes were torn, but over all he wasn't that badly injured, and it looked as though the healing spell seemed to take care of the wounds. Excellent so the attack was virtually useless, and if Lewis' physical attacks worked like the android's then he just injured himself from the use of it. However, not attacking the android allowed Sentinel to feel a bit more comfortable with a flashier move.

"He seems to be slowing down, we're winning this, keep up the good work." The android said as he took another few steps forward, and summoning his Persona once more. The Greek warrior rushed forward delivering two stabs with a bronze pike. The android was closing the distance between the two slowly, but at a steady pace. He still had his Orgia mode to use in order to ensure mutual destruction at the very least. Lewis hadn't forced his hand into that form yet...granted the android was not sure how Kurosawa would react to his true nature. The rich kid might scream out at that again, but the android hoped to continue his human appearance to at least one individual at the very least.

PvS Combat Over - You Have Pressed X

After the final blows from the small group, Lewis’ arm began to shrink and return back to its normal self, though the sleeve that it used to be in was gone, leaving a simple bare arm. As he fell to a knee, he started to breathe heavily and cough, like the use of his powers had finally caught up to him and started to tax his body. “You all are stupid. I just needed to give her to someone. She wasn’t gonna be harmed like you idiots just did. So why did you waste time fighting me?! I didn’t want to wait any longer for this shit!” he shouted, his voice a bit strained. As he spoke, a purple mist seemed to gather behind him, floating from the waters of a lake, something Lewis did not seem to notice since the mist seemed very thin, as well as in small strains gathering around the ends of a lake, like thorns had started to creep onto the field and gather behind him, the mist growing thicker and thicker each second he spoke. “How the fuck am I gonna explain this now…?” he said to himself, still struggling to stand up as the mist seemed to grow even thicker, and swirled like a miniature tornado with no sound. Lewis, not focusing on the matter and weakened from the fight, did not notice anything.

Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread)   Saving (Private) Lune (Mission Thread) - Page 9 EmptySat Oct 11, 2014 10:31 am

Well, that was that. At least the fighting was over. Sharaku was starting to get tired of it anyway. Lewis was right about one thing...it didn't really get them anywhere. But, not fighting had not proved them any better in this situation either. That just led to useless arguing, and who knows which of the two options is actually better. ''Even if you weren't going to harm her...Do you know what that someone you keep mentioning would have done with her? And that nonwithstanding, physical harm is not the only thing that can cause a problem. She's a young girl. Being dragged into a place like this, by someone she doesn't even know would most likely cause her some trauma at the very least. You keep saying you want something, but is it really neccessary to get an innocent girl involved in this all? I doubt this is the only way.'', he would state calmly, as Lewis kept tyring to prove his point. He finally said a bit more than just deflecting them, but it was still rather vague. What was so important to go so far for? ''Also, I believe we wasted time fighting you, because you didn't want to explain anything. What you were doing did not exactly look safe without knowing any reason. Besides, we hadn't planned for it to go the exact way it did.'' It was the truth, was it not? Lewis hadn't exactly seemed like the goody goody guy, with a girl as a hostage, and refusing to tell what he was going to do, besides saying he needed to do this, and similar unclear things. And it wasn't like they had planned for Lune to fall into the lake on purpose.

The purple...fog behind Lews was a little concerning though. Did it have something to do with this whole thing? The way it acted...maybe it was related to the person Lewis was making a deal with? That would however mean it was not some normal guy. Which only complicated this further. Ugh. Really now. Couldn't they just get out of here and call it quits...Hm. ''Do you think explaining will do? Normal people have a tendency to not listen. Whoever you made a deal with, might not either. It might be better to get away now, and figure a better way to do accomplish something next time.'' A suggestion wouldn't hurt. He didn't neccessarilly enjoy the idea of hanging around Lewis for much longer, but the man dying or getting in trouble, wouldn't help them any. ''You should look behind yourself. Do you really want to stay around to see what happens with that? Let's not argue now, and get out of here first. Then we can straighten this out safely. If you want to live to try anything more, that is. I wouldn't trust this place.'', he would say afterwards, pointing in the direction of the mist, for Lewis to look at. Really, he himself didn't want to stay around. That was probably the main problem there. Still, since they've gone through all the trouble to get something out of Lewis, it would be stupid to let him get done for now. Well, he could try at least. It was still up to the man to make a choice.
